- a second iteration of the hydration and separating steps may be performed to further refine the purity of the respective groups of components. More particularly, at step 78 one or more of the separated groups of components may be again hydrated to destructively hydrate the components into additional components and thus cause the components to break into smaller pieces. As in the previous hydration step, the components may be soaked in a liquid to produce wet components and the wet components placed in the dryer to accelerate hydration and cause the wet components to destructively hydrate into aggregates that are smaller in size than the wet components.

Abstract
Un procédé de séparation d'un mélange de constituants réfractaires utilisés de différents types de processus chimiques obtenus à partir d'un réfractaire détruit consiste à hydrater le mélange de constituants réfractaires pour hydrater de manière destructive au moins certains constituants du mélange de constituants réfractaires, et à séparer, en fonction de la taille, lesdits constituants d'autres constituants du mélange de constituants réfractaires.
