Definitions
- the present invention relates to a photovoltaic module according to the preamble of claim 1 and a method for producing a photovoltaic module according to the preamble of claim 9.
- Such photovoltaic modules are known, for example, from DE 10 2014 225 631 A1 and WO 2009/038794 A1. There are usually several such photovoltaic modules, which form large solar modules arranged parallel to one another.
- Photovoltaic modules of this type can be used in many different ways, but in particular for generating energy on agricultural land, because agriculture can still be operated below the photovoltaic modules.
- a solar cell arrangement is located in a tube that is usually made of glass or plastic.
- Plastic caps are placed on these tubes and usually also glued, which seals the inside of the tube. Energy is also drawn from the solar cell arrangement at the same time through these plastic caps.

- FIG. 4 shows the photovoltaic module according to the invention according to FIG. 2 in a side plan view after closure
- FIG. 6 shows the photovoltaic module according to the invention according to a second preferred embodiment in a detailed side view before the closure
- FIG. 7 shows the photovoltaic module according to the invention according to a third preferred embodiment in a detailed side view in front of the closure and
- FIG. 8 shows the closure element according to the invention according to a fourth preferred embodiment in a sectional view.
- FIG. 1 shows the solar module 10 according to the invention, which consists of a plurality of photovoltaic modules 12 according to the invention which are arranged in parallel on a surface and each have a border 14 on both sides.
- the photovoltaic module 12 according to the invention is shown in various detailed views according to a first preferred embodiment.
- the photovoltaic module 12 has a tube 16 made of glass or plastic with an interior 18 , a solar cell arrangement 20 being arranged in the interior 18 .
- the glass tube 16 has a hollow-cylindrical shape with a circular cross section in the longitudinal direction L.
- the solar cell arrangement 20 follows the contour of the inner surface of the glass tube 16 facing the interior space 18, i.e. it is in close contact with the glass tube 16 and at least partially covers this inner surface.
- a melting film (not shown), e.g. polyolefins, EVA, PVB, silicone, connects the two surfaces using a thermal process (typically at 140°C).
- the tube 16 is made of glass, it is translucent so that the solar cell assembly 20 can convert incident light into electricity.
- the solar cell arrangement 20 is, for example, one that is based on CIGS (containing copper, indium, gallium and selenium) or perovskite. However, it can also be a so-called tandem cell made from CIGIS and perovskite, or from perovskite and thin Si layers, as well as amorphous or p-crystal 11 i NEN Si layers.
- closure element 22 which closes the pipe 16 along the longitudinal axis L in a form-fitting and/or cohesive manner.
- This closure element 22 is also made of glass, with additional contact wires 24a, 24b for making electrical contact with the solar cell arrangement 20.
- the contact wires consist of a metal alloy containing nickel, for example NiFe47Cr6, which has a very similar coefficient of thermal expansion as the glass of the tube 16 and the closure element 22 .
- the coefficients of thermal expansion of tube 16 and closure element 22 do not differ, and those of closure element 22 and contact wires 24a, 24b only differ by less than approximately 10%.
- the contact elements are in the form of contact wires
- the contact element has a central contact area for melting into the closure element or for melting between the pipe and the closure element with a coefficient of thermal expansion adapted to the material of the closure element and/or the pipe, and contact areas with other materials extend on both sides of this central contact area (not shown).
- the closure member 22 is in the form of a plug having a central portion 26 whose outer diameter is sized to be snugly inserted into the tube 16 .
- the closure element 22 has a chamfer 28 for easier insertion of the closure element 22 into the tube 16.
- a collar 30 which has such a height h compared to the middle part 26 that the closure element 22 with the outer surface 32 of the tube 16 terminates radially.
- the closure element 22 is solid over its body, except for a tube 34 made of glass, which forms a central opening 36 in the closure element 22 .
- the method for producing the photovoltaic element 12 is now as follows:
- the closure element 22 is placed centrally on the lateral opening 40 of the tube 16 by means of the chamfers 28 until the collar 30 lies snugly against the tube 16 .
- a gas flame or a plasma torch not shown
- the solar cell arrangement 20 is at a distance A from the seam 42 in the range of approximately 5 mm to approximately 20 mm, thermal damage to the solar cell arrangement 20 as a result of the melting process is reliably avoided since the heat transport through glass is relatively low. In this way, the solar cell array 20 z. B. not heated above 150 °C (depending on the semiconductor type, e.g. CIGS or perovskite, or tandem cells made of both semiconductors, or of perovskite and thin Si layers such as amorphous or p-crystalline Si layers), which is not critical.
- the semiconductor type e.g. CIGS or perovskite, or tandem cells made of both semiconductors, or of perovskite and thin Si layers such as amorphous or p-crystalline Si layers
- the contact wires 24a, 24b melted into the glass of the closure element 22 also have very similar coefficients of thermal expansion, so that no gaps or cracks can occur at this point either.
- the photovoltaic module 12 is therefore absolutely fluid-tight.
- the interior 18 can be filled with an inert gas.
- the protective gas e.g. nitrogen or an inert gas such as helium
- the tube 34 is filled with the protective gas (e.g. nitrogen or an inert gas such as helium) through the tube 34 in such a way that there is a pressure difference to the ambient pressure of e.g. -300 mbar to +300 mbar adjusts
- the glass tube 34 which has a typical inside diameter of 2 mm to 4 mm, is then thermally melted and fused 44 with a gas flame, a plasma torch or a laser beam (not shown) in order to seal it in a fluid-tight manner.
- the tube 16 with the solar cell arrangement 20 located therein is hermetically sealed by the closure element 22 which is attached in a form-fitting and material-locking manner, as a result of which harmful environmental influences cannot penetrate into the pipe 16 and the solar cell arrangement cannot be permanently damaged.
- FIGS. 2 to 4 Even if only one side of the photovoltaic module 12 is shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, there is also a corresponding closure element (not shown) on the other side, which was also melted onto the tube 16 .
- This other closure element can be designed either with or without a tube or contact wires. For example, this additional tube could make it faster to fill with protective gas.
- a contact wire (not shown) combined to this effect could also be used, in which there is a central wire area for melting into the closure element with a thermal expansion coefficient adapted to glass and other wire areas are located on both sides of this central wire area, with, for example, the the wire area leading to the outside can be a copper-plated steel wire in order to ensure good welding properties, and the wire area leading to the solar cell arrangement has a metal or metal alloy which has good contact compatibility with the solar cell arrangement in order to prevent electrocorrosion.
- FIG. 6 the photovoltaic module 100 according to the invention is shown according to a second preferred embodiment before the closure.
- the closure element 102 of the tube 104 is not in the form of a plug, but is in the form of a pure cover.
- the photovoltaic module 100 can thus be designed more easily. In addition, less material has to be melted when the closure element 102 and tube 104 are fused, so that the photovoltaic module 100 can be produced with less energy expenditure.
- FIG. 7 shows the photovoltaic module 150 according to a third preferred embodiment before the closure.
- the closure element 152 of the tube 154 has only one contact wire 156 here.
- the other contact wire is routed through the other closure member at the opposite end of tube 154 (neither shown).
- more than two, for example 3, 4, 5 or more contact wires can also be guided through a closure element.
- a further closure element 200 according to a fourth preferred embodiment of the photovoltaic module according to the invention is shown in section in FIG. 8 .
- the closure element 200 here has an axially curved shape in a section along the longitudinal axis L, at least in regions, the curved shape being continuous in the circumferential direction. Description

Fig. 5).
