Description

直動回転モータ
 本開示は、可動子が直動および回転する直動回転モータに関する。
 1つのアクチュエータで、直動および回転を行う直動回転モータが開示されている。この種の直動回転モータは、界磁とする永久磁石を備えた可動子と、回転方向に回転磁界を発生する電機子巻線と直動方向に進行磁界を発生する電機子巻線を備えた固定子とを備えている。この種の直動回転モータでは、出力軸の反対側に直動変位と回転変位を検出する位置検出器をまとめて配置することが多い。このような位置検出器の配置では、可動子の直動長の増加に伴い、直動回転モータの直動方向の長さが増加し、モータの全長が増加する。
 特許文献1では、磁石システムの外周に設けられたタイミング定規と、タイミング定規に対向するセンサとを有するリニアドライブが示されている。

 特許文献1では、タイミング定規は、シャフトの軸方向に延びる細長い形状であるので、可動子が回転すると、センサによってタイミング定規を検出できず、直動位置の検出が不可能となる。このため、特許文献1では、可動子の回転を阻止するスライドピンおよび穴を設けている。特許文献1では、可動子の回転を阻止する構成が設けられており、モータの構造が大型化し、複雑になるという問題がある。
 本開示は、上記に鑑みてなされたものであり、モータの小型化および構造の簡単化を実現する直動回転モータを得ることを目的としている。
 上述した課題を解決し、目的を達成するために、本開示における直動回転モータは、筒形状のフレーム本体を有するフレームと、フレーム本体の内周壁に配置され直動方向に直動磁界を発生する直動用コイル、および直動用コイルと同心状に配置され回転方向に回転磁界を発生する回転用コイルを備える固定子と、フレームに直動および回転可能に支持され、出力軸を有するシャフト、およびシャフトの外周に設けられる磁石、を備える可動子と、を備え、直動用コイルと回転用コイルに通電して、可動子を直動および回転する。直動回転モータは、磁石に対向するようにフレームまたは固定子に配置され、可動子の直動方向の位置を検出する直動検出器と、可動子が直動または回転した際に直動検出器が対面するように、直動方向の可動範囲および周方向の回転範囲にわたって可動子の外周に設けられる直動スケールと、を備える。

 固定子10の直動用コイル11と回転用コイル12は、図3に示されるように、同心状に配置される。直動用コイル11および回転用コイル12に対し、電流が独立して制御されて通電されることで、直動方向に直動磁界が、回転方向に回転磁界が発生され、可動子20の磁石22と吸引および反発することで、可動子20が直動方向および回転方向に移動する。直動用コイル11および回転用コイル12の外径側に固定子鉄心13が配置されている。これにより、磁石22の磁束を有効に利用することができ、モータの推力とトルクが向上される。なお、モータ軽量化のために、固定子10に固定子鉄心13を配置せずに、直動用コイル11および回転用コイル12のみを固定子10に配置してもよい。直動用コイル11を回転用コイル12より固定子10の内径側へ配置することで、漏れ磁束が低減され、モータの推力が向上する。なお、推力よりもトルクを向上させたい場合は、回転用コイル12を直動用コイル11より固定子10の内径側へ配置してもよい。このように、固定子10に固定子鉄心13を配置せずに、直動用コイル11および回転用コイル12のみで固定子10を構成する実施は、後述する各実施の形態に適用されてもよい。
 可動子20の磁石22は、直動方向と回転方向の両方に電磁力を発生させる。このため、磁石22においては、ひし形の磁石のN極とS極を交互に直動方向および回転方向に配置している。なお、磁石量削減のために、長方形のN極とS極を交互に配置してもよいし、磁石コストの低減のために、直動方向に着磁した円筒状磁石のN極とS極を交互に配置し、磁石間に鉄心を配置したクローポール構造としてもよい。さらに、推力向上およびトルク向上のために、ひし形の磁石のN極とS極の間に、可動子20の表面の平行方向に着磁した磁石を配置したハルバッハ配列としてもよい。また、表面磁石型だけでなく、鉄心に磁石を埋め込んだ磁石埋込み型としてもよい。
 シャフト21は、フレーム5の一端側の第1端板5bの外に露出されている出力軸21aを有する。出力軸21a側の第1端板5bに配置される第1直動回転軸受としての直動回転軸受35は、ベアリング36およびボールスプライン37で構成されている。第1端板5bと対向する中板5cに配置される第2直動回転軸受としての直動回転軸受30は、ベアリング31およびボールスプライン32で構成されている。直動回転軸受30,35は、コスト低減のために、ベアリングとスライドブッシュの組み合わせ、ストロークブッシュ、スライドロータリーブッシュ、リニアロータリーブッシュ、リニアボールブッシュ、あるいはすべり軸受を用いてもよい。
 直動位置検出部50を構成する直動スケール51は、磁石22と内径側のコイルである直動用コイル11との間の空隙であるギャップ15に配設されている。実施の形態1では、直動スケール51は、ギャップ15における可動子20の外周に配置されている。具体的には、直動スケール51は、ギャップ15における磁石22の外周表面に配置されている。図1および図2に示すように、直動スケール51の直動方向の長さは、可動子20の直動方向の可動範囲であるストローク長に対応する。また、直動スケール51は、図3および図4に示すように、可動子20の周方向の回転範囲にわたって設けられている。実施の形態1では、直動スケール51は、可動子20の全周にわたって配置されている。
 直動位置検出部50を構成する直動検出器52は、図1、図4に示すように、磁石22に対向するようにフレーム5のフレーム本体5aに配置されている。また、直動検出器52は、フレーム5のフレーム本体5aの内周壁における直動スケール51の直動範囲内に設けられている。実施の形態1では、直動検出器52は、直動方向については、直動回転軸受30,35の配置位置の真ん中に配置されている。図1および図4に示すように、直動方向に延在する固定子鉄心13、直動用コイル11および回転用コイル12における直動方向についての真ん中の一か所に周方向の全範囲に延びる空間16が設けられている。この空間16に、固定子鉄心13と固定子鉄心13とに挟まれ、直動用コイル11と直動用コイル11とに挟まれ、かつ回転用コイル12と回転用コイル12とに挟まれるように直動検出器52が配置されている。すなわち、固定子鉄心13、直動用コイル11、および回転用コイル12は、直動方向に分離され、分離された固定子鉄心13、直動用コイル11、および回転用コイル12の間に直動検出器52が配置されている。なお、固定子鉄心13が存在する場合は、直動検出器52を、固定子鉄心13のみに挟まれるように配置してもよいし、固定子鉄心13および外径側のコイルである回転用コイル12のみに挟まれるように配置してもよい。また、固定子鉄心13が存在しない場合は、直動検出器52を、外径側のコイルである回転用コイル12のみに挟まれるように配置してもよい。このような直動検出器52の径方向についての各種の配置態様は、直動用コイル11、回転用コイル12および固定子鉄心13が同心状に設けられる後述の各実施の形態に適用されてもよい。
 このように、直動スケール51は、磁石22の外径側の表面に配置され、かつ可動子20が直動または回転した際に直動検出器52が常に対面するように、直動方向の全可動範囲および周方向の全回転範囲をカバーするように設けられている。このため、ストローク長の全範囲にわたり、かつ0度から360度までの周方向の全範囲で直動方向の位置を検出することができる。
 直動スケール51は、シート状の部材全体に一方向に延びる目盛りが並べられた光学スケールであり、可動子20の磁石22の表面に接着剤で固定されている。直動スケール51を光学式とすることで、磁石22と直動用コイル11とのギャップ15に配置しても、磁石22と直動用コイル11および回転用コイル12との磁界の影響を受けない。なお、磁石22の外周に直動スケール51を接着してもよいし、磁石22の外周に円筒形の金属部材を配置して金属部材に直接目盛りを形成してもよい。あるいは、目盛りが形成された金属部材に磁石を埋め込んで、金属部材に直動スケール51の機能と磁石22の保持との両方の機能を持たせてもよい。
 回転位置検出部60を構成する回転検出器62は、出力軸21aが配置される側の第1端板5bと反対側の第2端板5dに固定されている。回転位置検出部60を構成する回転スケール61は、シャフト21の出力軸21aと反対の軸端部側に配置される。回転スケール61には、回転方向の全周にわたって目盛りが刻まれている。回転検出器62は、回転スケール61に刻まれた目盛りを読み取る。出力軸21aと反対側の軸端部の直動方向の動作を抑制するために、ボールスプライン32を内蔵した中空構造の回転スケール取り付け部40が設けられる。回転スケール取り付け部40は、ボールスプライン32の外周部に固定されている。回転スケール61は、回転スケール取り付け部40に固定されて回転するが、直動方向には動作しない。回転スケール61は、光学式のスケールである。なお、回転検出器62と回転スケール61として、コスト低減のため、磁気式の検出器とスケールを用いてもよい。
 直動スケール51は、直動方向の全可動範囲および周方向の全回転範囲をカバーするように磁石22の表面に設けられているので、図1に示す状態から図2に示す状態まで、可動子20が直動方向に移動しかつ回転方向に回転した際にも、直動検出器52と直動スケール51は一定の間隔で対向し、かつ回転検出器62と回転スケール61も、一定の間隔で対向している。
 このように実施の形態1によれば、可動子20の磁石22の表面に直動スケール51を配して、固定子10と可動子20との間のギャップ15に直動スケール51を設け、かつ直動スケール51が、直動方向の全可動範囲および周方向の全回転範囲をカバーするように配置されるので、可動子の回転を阻止する構成が不要となり、モータの小型化および構造の簡単化が実現される。
実施の形態2.
 図5は、実施の形態2の直動回転モータを示す断面図である。図5は、図1のIV-IV線に沿った断面図に対応する。実施の形態2の直動回転モータにおける図1のIII-III線に沿った断面は、図3に示される断面と同様である。
 実施の形態2では、直動検出器52の配置態様が実施の形態1と異なる。実施の形態2のその他の構成は、実施の形態1と同様であり、重複する説明は省略する。実施の形態1では、固定子鉄心13、直動用コイル11および回転用コイル12における直動方向についての真ん中の一か所に周方向の全範囲に延びる空間16を設けた。実施の形態2では、直動用コイル11および回転用コイル12における直動方向についての真ん中の一か所に直動検出器52を収容できる凹部17を設け、この凹部17に直動検出器52を挿入している。直動検出器52は、固定子鉄心13の内周面上に配置される。なお、凹部17を固定子鉄心13まで延びるように形成し、直動検出器52を、フレーム5のフレーム本体5aの内周壁に配置してもよい。
 実施の形態2によれば、実施の形態1の効果に加え、直動用コイル11と回転用コイル12の体積拡大によるモータ損失の低減と、直動用コイル11と回転用コイル12と直動検出器52の一体製造によるコスト低減が可能であるという効果を奏する。なお、直動用コイル11もしくは回転用コイル12の一方、あるいは直動用コイル11と回転用コイル12の両方をプリント基板またはフレキシブル基板で形成し、直動検出器52をこれら基板上に実装してもよい。
実施の形態3.
 図6は、実施の形態3の直動回転モータを示す断面図である。図6は、図1のIV-IV線に沿った断面図に対応する。実施の形態3の直動回転モータにおける図1のIII-III線に沿った断面は、図3に示される断面と同様である。
 実施の形態3では、直動検出器52の配置態様が実施の形態1と異なる。実施の形態3のその他の構成は、実施の形態1と同様であり、重複する説明は省略する。実施の形態3では、内径側のコイルである直動用コイル11の表面に直動検出器52を配置する。直動検出器52は直動用コイル11の表面に接着してもよいし、直動用コイル11をプリント基板またはフレキシブル基板で形成し、直動検出器52をこれら基板の表面に実装してもよい。なお、内径側のコイルの表面に直動検出器52を配置するという実施を、後述する各実施の形態に適用してもよい。
 実施の形態3によれば、実施の形態1の効果に加え、直動検出器52と直動スケール51との距離を小さくできるため、位置精度が向上するという効果を奏する。
実施の形態4.
 図7は、実施の形態4の直動回転モータを示す断面図である。図7は、図1のIII-III線に沿った断面図に対応する。図8は、実施の形態4の直動回転モータに含まれる直動スケール51の一例を示す展開図である。実施の形態4の直動回転モータにおける図1のIV-IV線に沿った断面は、図4、図5、図6の何れかに示される断面と同様である。
 実施の形態4では、直動スケール51の配置態様が実施の形態1と異なる。実施の形態4のその他の構成は、実施の形態1から実施の形態3の何れかと同様であり、重複する説明は省略する。実施の形態4では、直動スケール51においては、シート状の部材が可動子20の磁石22の表面に接着剤で固定されており、シート状の部材のつなぎ目部分51aは、直動検出器52での検出不可能領域となる。このため、実施の形態4では、直動検出器52とつなぎ目部分51aとが対向しないように、可動子20の周方向の回転範囲を制限している。また、図8に示されるように、直動スケール51は、シート状の部材の全体にわたって一方向の目盛りが間隔を置いて連続的に形成された光学スケールであり、直動検出器52によって直動スケール51を読み取り方向に沿って読み取ることで、シート状の部材の直動方向の変位を検出できる。なお、図8に示した直動スケール51は、実施の形態4以外の各実施の形態の直動回転モータに含まれる直動スケール51を例示するものでもある。
 実施の形態4によれば、直動スケール51を可動子20の全周にわたって配置する必要がなくなり、実施の形態1の効果に加え、直動スケール51のコストが低減できるという効果を奏する。
実施の形態5.
 図9は、実施の形態5の直動回転モータの側断面図である。実施の形態5では、回転スケール61aをドーナツ状の中空構造としている。また、回転スケール取り付け部40aのシャフト21の軸方向の長さを、図1の回転スケール取り付け部40より短くしている。さらに、フレーム5の第2端板5dにシャフト21の出力軸21aの反対側の軸部分21bを露出するための穴を形成し、シャフト21の軸部分21bフレーム5の第2端板5dから外に露出させている。実施の形態5のその他の構成は、実施の形態1と同様であり、重複する説明は省略する。
 このように、実施の形態5によれば、回転スケール61aを中空構造にしているので、可動子20のシャフト21と回転スケール61aが干渉しなくなり、シャフト21の出力軸21aの反対側の軸部分21bをフレーム5から露出させることができる。したがって、実施の形態1の効果に加え、回転位置検出部60の直動方向のサイズを、可動子20のストローク長分だけ短縮することができるという効果を奏する。
実施の形態6.
 図10は、実施の形態6の直動回転モータの側断面図である。実施の形態6では、シャフト21を中空構造として貫通穴21cを設けている。実施の形態6のその他の構成は、実施の形態5と同様であり、重複する説明は省略する。実施の形態6では、出力軸21aと反対側の軸部分の貫通穴21cに真空エジェクタを接続することで、シャフト21の内部を減圧することができる。
 実施の形態6によれば、シャフト21を中空構造としているので、別部品のチューブを用いることなく、シャフト21の内部を減圧することができ、これにより、シャフト21の出力軸21aで部品を吸着できるようになり、実施の形態1の効果に加え、装置組立および装置保守が容易となるという効果を奏する。なお、シャフト21を中空構造として貫通穴21cを設ける構成を実施の形態1から実施の形態4、実施の形態7から実施の形態15の何れかに適用してもよい。
実施の形態7.
 図11は、実施の形態7の直動回転モータの側断面図である。実施の形態7では、直動用コイル11と回転用コイル12を直動方向に分離し、直動用コイル11と回転用コイル12との間に直動検出器52が配置されている。直動検出器52は、フレーム5のフレーム本体5aの内周壁に固定されている。実施の形態7のその他の構成は、実施の形態5と同様であり、重複する説明は省略する。直動用コイル11と回転用コイル12とを合わせた直動方向の長さは、磁石22の直動方向の長さよりも大きい。このため、直動用コイル11と磁石22とが対向する面積、および回転用コイル12と磁石22とが対向する面積が、可動子20の直動方向の位置によって変化する。
 実施の形態7では、直動用コイル11と回転用コイル12を直動方向に分離して配置しているので、モータの径方向の寸法を小型化できる。また、可動子20の直動方向の位置に応じて直動用コイル11と磁石22とが対向する面積、および回転用コイル12と磁石22とが対向する面積、つまり推力定数とトルク定数が変動するため、可動子20の直動方向の位置に応じて電流指令を生成することで、モータ損失を低減可能である。
実施の形態8.
 図12は、実施の形態8の直動回転モータの側断面図である。実施の形態8では、直動用コイル11と回転用コイル12を直動方向に分離し、直動用コイル11と回転用コイル12との間に直動検出器52が配置されている。この点は、実施の形態7と同様である。実施の形態8では、直動用コイル11と回転用コイル12とを合わせた直動方向の長さは、磁石22の直動方向の長さよりも小さい。このため、直動用コイル11と磁石22とが対向する面積、および回転用コイル12と磁石22とが対向する面積が、可動子20の位置によって変化しない。
 また、ベアリング31およびボールスプライン32で構成されている直動回転軸受30は、中板5cではなく第2端板5dに設けられている。回転スケール取り付け部40aはボールスプライン32の外周に設けられており、可動子20の回転に従って回転するが、可動子20が直動しても直動方向には移動しない。回転スケール61aは、回転スケール取り付け部40aに固定されている。したがって、回転スケール61aも、可動子20の回転に従って回転するが、可動子20が直動しても直動方向には移動しない。
 中板5cには、可動子20が直動および回転するための穴5c1が形成されている。回転検出器62は、中板5cに固定されており、一定の距離を隔てて設けられた回転スケール61aの目盛りを読み取る。回転検出器62は、可動子20の磁石22の一部と、モータの径方向に並ぶように配置されている。このため、直動回転モータの直動方向の全長を小型化できる。実施の形態8のその他の構成は、実施の形態7と同様であり、重複する説明は省略する。
 実施の形態8によれば、直動用コイル11と回転用コイル12を直動方向に分離して配置しているので、モータの径方向の寸法を小型化できる。また、直動用コイル11と磁石22とが対向する面積、および回転用コイル12と磁石22とが対向する面積が、可動子20の位置によって変化しない。このため、可動子20の直動方向の位置に合わせて電流指令を生成する必要が無くなり、制御が簡易化できる。さらに、回転検出器62と磁石22とをモータの径方向に並べて配置しているので、直動回転モータの全長を小型化できる。
実施の形態9.
 図13は、実施の形態9の直動回転モータの側断面図である。実施の形態9では、実施の形態1から実施の形態8に示したように、回転位置検出部60を固定子10と可動子20の磁石22とによって構成されるモータ部の軸方向の横の空間に配置するのではなく、回転位置検出部60を直動位置検出部50と同様に、モータ部内の空間に配置している。実施の形態9のその他の構成は、実施の形態1と同様であり、重複する説明は省略する。
 直動スケール51および回転スケール61は、ギャップ15における磁石22の外径側の表面における軸方向の別位置に配置されている。直動スケール51および回転スケール61の直動方向の長さは、可動子20の直動方向の可動範囲であるストローク長に対応する。また、直動スケール51および回転スケール61は、直動方向の全可動範囲および周方向の全回転範囲をカバーするように設けられている。直動スケール51と回転スケール61は、それぞれの目盛りの刻み方向が直交するように、隣接して配置される。
 直動検出器52は、図4に示したように、固定子10における直動方向についての一か所に直動スケール51と対向するように形成された空間16に配置され、フレーム5のフレーム本体5aの内周壁に固定されている。直動検出器52は、固定子鉄心13と固定子鉄心13とに挟まれ、直動用コイル11と直動用コイル11とに挟まれ、かつ回転用コイル12と回転用コイル12とに挟まれるように空間16に配置されている。
 回転検出器62も同様であり、固定子鉄心13、直動用コイル11および回転用コイル12における直動方向についての一か所に回転スケール61と対向するように形成された空間19に配置され、フレーム5のフレーム本体5aの内周壁に固定されている。回転検出器62は、固定子鉄心13と固定子鉄心13とに挟まれ、直動用コイル11と直動用コイル11とに挟まれ、かつ回転用コイル12と回転用コイル12とに挟まれるように空間19に配置されている。
 なお、固定子鉄心13が存在する場合は、直動検出器52、回転検出器62を、固定子鉄心13のみに挟まれるように配置してもよいし、固定子鉄心13および外径側のコイルである回転用コイル12のみに挟まれるように配置してもよい。また、固定子鉄心13が存在しない場合は、直動検出器52、回転検出器62を、外径側のコイルである回転用コイル12のみに挟まれるように配置してもよい。また、直動検出器52および回転検出器62を図6に示したように、直動用コイル11および回転用コイル12のうちの内径側のコイルの表面に配置してもよい。
 実施の形態9によれば、直動位置検出部50と回転位置検出部60との構成を同一にすることが可能であり、部品共通化により位置検出器のコストが削減できる。さらに、モータ部と位置検出部を一体化しているので、モータの全長を短縮することができる。
実施の形態10.
 図14は、実施の形態10の直動回転モータの側断面図である。実施の形態10では、実施の形態9と同様、回転位置検出部60および直動位置検出部50をモータ部内の空間に配置している。また、実施の形態7、実施の形態8と同様、直動用コイル11と回転用コイル12が直動方向に分離されている。
 直動用コイル11と回転用コイル12との間に直動検出器52が配置されている。回転検出器62は、直動用コイル11に隣接するように配置されている。直動検出器52および回転検出器62は、フレーム5のフレーム本体5aの内周壁に固定されている。直動スケール51および回転スケール61は、ギャップ15における磁石22の外径側の表面における軸方向の別位置に配置されている。直動スケール51は直動検出器52に対向するように配置され、回転スケール61は回転検出器62に対向するように配置されている。直動スケール51および回転スケール61は、直動方向の全可動範囲および周方向の全回転範囲をカバーするように設けられている。直動スケール51と回転スケール61は、それぞれの目盛りの刻み方向が直交するように、隣接して配置される。
 実施の形態10では、直動用コイル11と回転用コイル12を合わせた直動方向の長さは、磁石22の直動方向の長さよりも小さい。したがって、直動用コイル11と磁石22とが対向する面積、および回転用コイル12と磁石22とが対向する面積が、可動子20の直動方向の位置によって変化しない。
 実施の形態10によれば、直動用コイル11と回転用コイル12を直動方向に分離して配置しているので、モータの径方向の寸法を小型化できる。また、モータ部と位置検出部を一体化しているので、モータの全長を短縮することができる。また、直動用コイル11と磁石22とが対向する面積、および回転用コイル12と磁石22とが対向する面積が、可動子20の直動方向の位置によって変化しない。このため、可動子20の直動方向の位置に合わせて電流指令を生成する必要が無くなり、制御が簡易化できる。なお、直動検出器52および回転検出器62を、直動用コイル11および回転用コイル12のうちの何れかの表面に配置してもよい。
実施の形態11.
 図15は、実施の形態11の直動回転モータの側断面図である。実施の形態11では、直動位置検出部50および回転位置検出部60のうちの一方を磁石22とフレーム5のフレーム本体5aとの間に配置し、他方をシャフト21における磁石22が存在しない個所とフレーム5のフレーム本体5aとの間に配置する。図15では、直動位置検出部50を磁石22とフレーム5のフレーム本体5aとの間に配置し、回転位置検出部60をシャフト21における磁石22が存在しない個所とフレーム5のフレーム本体5aとの間に配置している。実施の形態11のその他の構成は、実施の形態10と同様であり、重複する説明は省略する。
 回転位置検出部60の回転スケール61が、シャフト21における磁石22が存在しない個所の外周に配置され、回転検出器62が回転スケール61に対向するようにフレーム本体5aの内周壁に配置される。直動スケール51および回転スケール61は、直動方向の全可動範囲および周方向の全回転範囲をカバーするように設けられている。
 実施の形態11によれば、可動子20の磁石22の直動方向の長さが小さい場合でも、直動スケール51と回転スケール61をシャフト21に配置できるため、実施の形態10の効果に加え、部品共通化により位置検出器のコストが削減できるという効果を奏する。
実施の形態12.
 図16は、実施の形態12の直動回転モータの側断面図である。実施の形態12では、中板5cを隔てて直動用コイル11と回転用コイル12を直動方向に分離している。また、可動子20の磁石を直動用磁石22aと、回転用磁石22bに、直動方向に分離している。回転用磁石22bは、中板5cと中板5eで囲まれた空間に配置される。
 直動検出器52は直動用コイル11の間に配置され、フレーム本体5aの内周壁に固定される。直動スケール51はギャップ15における可動子20の磁石22の外周に配置される。
 フレーム5は、フレーム本体5a、第1端板5b、中板5c、中板5e、および第2端板5dを有する。中板5eには、ボールスプライン32の外周に接続されるベアリング38が設けられている。中板5cには、ベアリング31およびボールスプライン32で構成される直動回転軸受30が設けられている。直動回転軸受30は、シャフト21の基端部21dを支承する。
 回転用磁石22bはボールスプライン32の外周に配置されている。ボールスプライン32によって直動方向の移動が抑制されるため、回転用磁石22bは回転用コイル12と常に対向する。回転スケール61は、ボールスプライン32の外周に配置される回転スケール取り付け部40に固定され、ボールスプライン32とともに回転する。回転検出器62は、回転スケール61と一定の距離を隔ててフレーム5の第2端板5dに固定される。
 実施の形態12によれば、直動回転モータ用の磁石22が不要となり、一般的な直動モータ(シャフトリニアモータ)用の直動用磁石22aと回転モータ用の回転用磁石22bが使用可能となり、部品共通化でコスト低減が可能である。また、回転用磁石22bの内径側にボールスプライン32を配置しているので、回転モータ部分で直動方向の移動を抑制することができ、モータの全長が小型化できる。
実施の形態13.
 図17は、実施の形態13の直動回転モータの側断面図である。実施の形態13では、固定子10は、実施の形態1と同様、直動用コイル11、回転用コイル12、および固定子鉄心13を有し、これらは同心状にフレーム5のフレーム本体5aの内周壁に配置される。直動検出器52は、直動用コイル11および回転用コイル12の間に配置され、直動スケール51は磁石22との外周に配置される。直動スケール51は、直動方向の全可動範囲および周方向の全回転範囲をカバーするように設けられている。
 一方、回転検出器62は可動子20のシャフト21または磁石22の外周に設けられている。図17では、回転検出器62はシャフト21の外周に設けられている。このため、回転検出器62は、直動方向と回転方向に移動する。回転スケール61は、回転検出器62と対向するように、内径側のコイルである直動用コイル11の内周に配置される。回転スケール61は、回転検出器62が直動または回転した際に対面するように、直線方向の可動範囲と周方向の回転範囲にわたって設けられる。回転検出器62への給電と信号伝達は無線を用いてもよいし、スリップリングを用いてもよい。あるいは、回転範囲を制限して、有線としてもよい。なお、直動位置検出部50と回転位置検出部60との配置が逆になっていてもよい。
 実施の形態13によれば、モータ部と位置検出部を一体化しているので、モータの全長を短縮することができる。また、直動位置検出部50と回転位置検出部60との構成を同一にすることが可能であり、部品共通化により位置検出器のコストが削減できる。
実施の形態14.
 図18は、実施の形態14の直動回転モータの側断面図である。実施の形態14では、実施の形態13の直動位置検出部50の配置位置を変えている。実施の形態14のその他の構成は、実施の形態13と同様であり、重複する説明は省略する。
 実施の形態14では、直動検出器52および回転検出器62は可動子20のシャフト21または磁石22の外周に設けられている。図18では、直動検出器52および回転検出器62はシャフト21の外周に設けられている。直動スケール51は、直動検出器52と対向するように、内径側のコイルである直動用コイル11の内周に配置される。回転スケール61は、回転検出器62と対向するように、内径側のコイルである直動用コイル11の内周に配置される。直動スケール51および回転スケール61は、直動検出器52および回転検出器62が直動または回転した際に対面するように、直線方向の可動範囲と周方向の回転範囲にわたって設けられる。
 実施の形態14によれば、モータ部と位置検出部を一体化しているので、モータの全長を短縮することができる。また、直動位置検出部50と回転位置検出部60との構成を同一にすることが可能であり、部品共通化により位置検出器のコストが削減できる。さらに、直動用コイル11と回転用コイル12の体積拡大により、モータ損失が低減できる。
実施の形態15.
 図19は、実施の形態15の直動回転モータの側断面図である。実施の形態15では、直動スケールおよび回転スケールの機能を有する直動回転スケール80が採用されている。直動回転スケール80は、直動スケールおよび回転スケールが同一部品化されたものである。また、直動検出器52および回転検出器62は、可動子20を中心にしてフレーム本体5aの内周壁における直動方向の同一位置に、直動回転スケール80に対向するように配置されている。
 固定子10は、実施の形態1と同様、直動用コイル11、回転用コイル12、および固定子鉄心13を有し、これらは同心状にフレーム5のフレーム本体5aの内周壁に配置される。直動検出器52は、直動用コイル11および回転用コイル12の間に配置され、固定子鉄心13に固定される。回転検出器62は、直動用コイル11および回転用コイル12の間に配置され、直動検出器52とは周方向の異なる位置に配置され、固定子鉄心13に固定される。回転検出器62は、可動子20を挟んで直動検出器52と対向して配置してもよい。なお、直動検出器52と回転検出器62は、一体化して一つの基板の異なる位置に配置してもよい。
 直動回転スケール80は、ギャップ15の可動子20の外周に配置されている。具体的には、直動回転スケール80は、磁石22の外周に配置されている。直動回転スケール80は、可動子20が直動または回転した際に、直動検出器52および回転検出器62が対面するように、直線方向の可動範囲と周方向の回転範囲にわたって設けられる。
 直動回転スケール80は、シート状の部材の全体に垂直に交差する二方向の目盛りを形成した光学スケールであり、磁石22の表面に接着剤で固定されている。なお、磁石22の外周に円筒形の金属部材を配置して金属に直接目盛りを形成してもよいし、目盛りが形成された金属部材に磁石を埋め込んで、金属部材にスケールと磁石保持の両方の機能を持たせてもよい。
 図20は、実施の形態15の直動回転モータに具備される直動回転スケール80の一例を示す展開図である。図20の直動回転スケール80は、スケール全体に直交する二方向に目盛りが形成されており、直動検出器52と回転検出器62を用いて、スケール全体にわたって直動方向と回転方向の両方の変位を検出できる。
 図21は、実施の形態15の直動回転モータに具備される直動回転スケール80の他の例を示す展開図である。図21の直動回転スケール80は、一方向に目盛りを形成した2つのスケールを組み合わせており、スケール半分の一方に一方向に目盛りを形成し、他方にこれと直交する方向に目盛りを形成している。モータの周方向の可動範囲が180度以下となるが、一方向の目盛りを形成するスケールが利用できるため、スケールのコスト低減が可能である。
 実施の形態15によれば、直動スケールと回転スケールが同一部品化された直動回転スケール80を用いているので、先の実施の形態の効果に加え、スケールを小型化でき、可動子20の直動方向の長さが小さい場合でも、直動回転方向の位置を検出するためのスケールを可動子20に配置できるという効果を奏する。なお、直動検出器52および回転検出器62を図6に示したように、直動用コイル11および回転用コイル12のうちの内径側のコイルの表面に配置してもよい。
 以上の実施の形態に示した構成は、本開示の内容の一例を示すものであり、別の公知の技術と組み合わせることも可能であるし、本開示の要旨を逸脱しない範囲で、構成の一部を省略、変更することも可能である。

Claims (17)

  1.  筒形状のフレーム本体を有するフレームと、
     前記フレーム本体の内周壁に配置され直動方向に直動磁界を発生する直動用コイル、および前記直動用コイルと同心状に配置され回転方向に回転磁界を発生する回転用コイルを備える固定子と、
     前記フレームに直動および回転可能に支持され、出力軸を有するシャフト、および前記シャフトの外周に設けられる磁石、を備える可動子と、を備え、
     前記直動用コイルと前記回転用コイルに通電して、前記可動子を直動および回転する直動回転モータであって、
     前記磁石に対向するように前記フレームまたは前記固定子に配置され、前記可動子の直動方向の位置を検出する直動検出器と、
     前記可動子が直動または回転した際に前記直動検出器が対面するように、直動方向の可動範囲および周方向の回転範囲にわたって前記可動子の外周に設けられる直動スケールと、
     を備えることを特徴とする直動回転モータ。
  2.  前記フレームは、前記出力軸を直動および回転可能に支持する第1直動回転軸受が設けられた第1端板と、前記シャフトの前記出力軸と反対側の軸部分を直動および回転可能に支持する第2直動回転軸受が設けられた中板と、第2端板とを有し、
     前記第2直動回転軸受に中空構造の回転スケール取り付け部を固定し、前記回転スケール取り付け部に回転スケールを固定し、
     前記回転スケールを読み取って、前記可動子の回転方向の位置を検出する回転検出器を前記第2端板に固定する
     ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の直動回転モータ。
  3.  前記直動検出器は、前記フレーム本体の内周壁に固定され、かつ直動方向に分離された前記直動用コイルの間、または直動方向に分離された前記回転用コイルの間に配置され、
     前記直動スケールは、前記磁石の外周に配置される
     ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の直動回転モータ。
  4.  前記直動検出器は、前記直動用コイルおよび前記回転用コイルのうちの内径側のコイルの表面に配置され、
     前記直動スケールは、前記磁石の外周に配置される
     ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の直動回転モータ。
  5.  前記回転スケールは、中空であり、
     前記シャフトの前記出力軸と反対側の端部が前記第2端板の外に露出されている
     ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の直動回転モータ。
  6.  前記磁石に対向するように前記フレームまたは前記固定子に配置され、前記可動子の回転方向の位置を検出する回転検出器と、
     前記可動子が直動または回転した際に前記回転検出器が対面するように、直動方向の可動範囲および周方向の回転範囲にわたって、前記可動子の外周に設けられる回転スケールと、
     を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の直動回転モータ。
  7.  前記直動検出器および前記回転検出器は、前記フレーム本体の内周壁に固定され、かつ直動方向に延在する前記直動用コイルおよび前記回転用コイルのうちの少なくとも一方の間に配置され、
     前記直動スケールおよび前記回転スケールは、前記磁石の外周に配置される
     ことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の直動回転モータ。
  8.  回転スケールを前記直動用コイルおよび前記回転用コイルのうちの内径側のコイルの表面に配置し、
     前記回転スケールを読み取って、前記可動子の回転方向の位置を検出する回転検出器を前記可動子に固定する
     ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の直動回転モータ。
  9.  前記直動スケールは、直交する二方向に目盛りが形成された直動回転スケールであり、
     前記磁石に対向するように前記直動検出器と周方向の異なる位置であって、前記フレームまたは前記固定子に配置され、前記可動子の回転方向の位置を検出する回転検出器を備える
     ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の直動回転モータ。
  10.  筒形状のフレーム本体を有するフレームと、
     前記フレーム本体の内周壁に配置され直動方向に直進磁界を発生する直動用コイル、および前記フレーム本体の内周壁に配置され回転方向に回転磁界を発生する回転用コイルを備え、前記直動用コイルおよび前記回転用コイルが直動方向に分離される固定子と、
     前記フレームに直動および回転可能に支持され、出力軸を有するシャフト、および前記シャフトの外周に設けられる磁石、を備える可動子と、を備え、
     前記直動用コイルと前記回転用コイルに通電して、前記可動子を直動および回転する直動回転モータであって、
     前記磁石に対向するように前記フレームに配置され、前記可動子の直動方向の位置を検出する直動検出器と、
     前記可動子が直動または回転した際に前記直動検出器が対面するように、直動方向の可動範囲および周方向の回転範囲にわたって前記可動子の外周に設けられる直動スケールと、
     を備えることを特徴とする直動回転モータ。
  11.  前記フレームは、前記出力軸を直動および回転可能に支持する第1直動回転軸受が設けられた第1端板と、前記シャフトの前記出力軸と反対側の軸部分を直動および回転可能に支持する第2直動回転軸受が設けられた中板と、第2端板とを有し、
     前記第2直動回転軸受に中空構造の回転スケール取り付け部を固定し、前記回転スケール取り付け部に回転スケールを固定し、
     前記回転スケールを読み取って、前記可動子の回転方向の位置を検出する回転検出器を前記第2端板に固定する
     ことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の直動回転モータ。
  12.  前記フレームは、前記出力軸を直動および回転可能に支持する第1直動回転軸受が設けられた第1端板と、前記シャフトの前記出力軸と反対側の軸部分を直動および回転可能に支持する第2直動回転軸受が設けられた第2端板と、中板と、を有し、
     前記可動子の回転方向の位置を検出する回転検出器を前記中板に固定し、
     前記第2直動回転軸受に中空構造の回転スケール取り付け部を固定し、前記回転スケール取り付け部に回転スケールを固定する
     ことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の直動回転モータ。
  13.  前記直動検出器は、前記フレーム本体の内周壁に固定され、直動方向に延在する前記直動用コイルと直動方向に延在する前記回転用コイルの間に配置され、
     前記直動スケールは、前記磁石の外周に配置される
     ことを特徴とする請求項10から12の何れか一つに記載の直動回転モータ。
  14.  前記磁石に対向するように前記フレームまたは前記固定子に配置され、前記可動子の回転方向の位置を検出する回転検出器と、
     前記可動子が直動または回転した際に前記回転検出器が対面するように、直動方向の可動範囲および周方向の回転範囲にわたって、前記可動子の外周に設けられる回転スケールと、
     を備えることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の直動回転モータ。
  15.  前記直動スケールおよび前記回転スケールのうちの一方は、前記磁石の外周に配置され、他方は前記シャフトの前記磁石が存在しない個所に設けられる
     ことを特徴とする請求項14に記載の直動回転モータ。
  16.  前記磁石は、直動用磁石と回転用磁石とに直動方向に分離され、
     前記直動用コイルが前記直動用磁石に対向し、前記回転用コイルが前記回転用磁石に対向するように配置される
     ことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の直動回転モータ。
  17.  前記シャフトは、軸方向に貫通する中空部を有する
     ことを特徴とする請求項1から16の何れか一つに記載の直動回転モータ。
