The present disclosure relates to a cup lid and a cup assembly with the cup lid. The purpose of the present disclosure is to improve the sealing between the cup lid and the cup body by changing the structure of the cup assembly, in particular to improve the sealing effect by changing the structure of the cup lid.
Fig. 1 of this disclosure shows the cup assembly proposed in this disclosure, and separately shows the cup lid and a drinking plug detachably fixed to the cup lid. Fig. 2 shows a longitudinal section of the cup lid proposed in this disclosure, and fig. 3 shows the matching relationship between the cup lid and the cup body in a longitudinal section. Fig. 4 shows a partial enlarged view of a circled part of the cup lid as shown in fig. 3 to further show the structure of the interference fit part of the cup lid.
Firstly, the structure and preferred features of the cup lid proposed in this disclosure will be introduced with reference to the attached drawings.
The cup lid is used to cooperate with the cup body to close an opening of the cup body. For this reason, generally speaking, the cup lid comprises a cover body 11 covering the opening of the cup body, and a cup body matching structure for realizing matching connection with the cup body. The specific structure of the cover body 11 is not limited. In the preferred embodiment of the present disclosure as shown in the drawings, the cover body 11 is generally circular.
The cup body matching structure is used to fit and connect with an opening edge of the cup body, so that the cup lid 1 and the cup body 2 fit together, and a certain force is needed to separate them. In order to improve the sealing performance of the cup lid 1 and the cup body 2, the cup body matching structure of the cover body is improved, and the cup body matching structure is set as an interference fitting structure, which is referred to as an interference fit part 12 here.
Referring to the drawings, the interference fit part 12 extends from the cover body 11 at the periphery of the cover body 11.
Preferably, the interference fit part 12 and the cover body 11 are of an integral structure.
The interference fit part 12 comprises a first fitting wall 121 connected to the cover body 11, a curved connecting wall 122 extending from the first fitting wall, and a second fitting wall 123 extending from the connecting wall and opposite to the first fitting wall. The first fitting wall 121, the connecting wall 122 and the second fitting wall 123 are of an integrated structure, and smoothly transition between them. The first fitting wall 121 and the second fitting wall 123 are preferably slightly curved wall structures, and may have straight portions.
An annular accommodating groove 124 for accommodating the opening edge of the cup body is formed between the first and second fitting walls 121 and 123, and the opening edge of the cup body, especially the curling edge 21 of the cup body, can be engaged in the annular accommodating groove 124 in an interference fit manner. In addition, the first fitting wall 121 and the second fitting wall 123 are configured to clamp both sides of the opening edge of the cup body in an interference fit manner.
With the above structure, the cup body and the cup lid are combined together in an interference fit manner, so that the connecting portion of the cup body and the cup lid has good tightness. Furthermore, the present disclosure provides the first and second fitting walls opposite to each other, which can clamp an inner side and an outer side of the opening edge from two directions respectively, which further improves the sealing performance of the cup lid and the cup body.
Referring to fig. 4, it shows a cross-sectional view after the cup lid and the cup body are fitted together, wherein the figure shows the complete structure of the cup body, but shows the curling edge 21 which is fitted with the interference fit part 12. It can be seen that when the cup body is fitted with the cup lid, the first fitting wall 121 of the interference fit part 12 of the cup body can cause the inner side 211 of the curling edge 21 of the cup body to deform, and the second fitting wall 123 of the cup body can cause the outer side 212 of the curling edge 21 to deform, so as to achieve interference fit.
Among them, the present disclosure is applicable to cup bodies and cup lids of various common sizes, especially conventional paper cups and corresponding cup lids. According to some embodiments, the volume of the cup body can be between 60ml and 1000ml, for example. According to some embodiments, the diameter of the bottom of the cup body can be between 30 mm and 110 mm, for example. According to some embodiments, the diameter of the opening part of the cup body may be between 50 mm and 135 mm, for example. According to some embodiments, the height of the cup body can be between 50 mm and 170 mm, for example. According to some embodiments, the diameter of the curling edge of the cup body may be, for example, between 2mm and 10mm, and more preferably, the diameter of the curling edge of the cup body may be, for example, between 3mm and 7mm.
According to some embodiments, the maximum peripheral dimension of the cup lid may be between 50 mm and 140 mm, for example. According to some embodiments, the height of the cup lid may be between 5 mm and 50 mm, for example. The arrangement of the drinking port 113 and the drinking port plug is beneficial to improve the practicability of the cup assembly.
According to a preferred embodiment of the present disclosure, the cup lid further comprises an extension 125 extending from the second fitting wall 123. The extension forms the free outer edge of the cup lid. An inner wall of the extension is provided with a protrusion 1251, which is located between the second fitting wall 123 and an end 126 of the extension. The protrusion can reduce or even avoid the risk of the cup lid and a paper cup falling off after buckling. The cup lid proposed in this disclosure is preferably formed by paper pulp molding, but the material of the cup lid disclosed in this disclosure is not limited to paper pulp, for example, it can also be formed by plastic and other materials. Similarly, the cup body fitted with the cup lid is preferably molded from paper pulp, but the forming material is not limited to paper pulp, but can also be made from plastic and other materials.
This disclosure also provides a cup assembly. The structure and preferred features of the cup assembly provided in this disclosure are briefly introduced below.
The cup assembly proposed in this disclosure comprises a cup body 2 and a cup lid, and the cup lid can be the cup lid 1 proposed in any of the previous embodiments.
When the cup body 2 and the cup lid 1 are fitted together, the cover body 11 of the cup lid 1 covers an opening of the cup body 2, and the edge at the opening of the cup body is received in an accommodating groove 124 of the cup lid 1, and the interference fit part 12 of the cup lid 1 clamps the edge at the opening of the cup body in an interference fit manner.
Preferably, the edge of the opening of the cup body is a curling edge 21, and the interference fit part 12 of the cup lid clamps the curling edge 21 in an interference fit manner. The matching structure of the curling edge and the interference fit part is beneficial to improve the sealing performance between the cup lid and the cup body. As mentioned above, when the cup body and the cup lid are fitted together, the first fitting wall 121 of the interference fitting part 12 causes an inner side 211 of the curling edge 21 to deform by 0.1mm to 0.4 mm, and more preferably by 0.2 mm.
The second fitting wall 123 causes the deformation of an outer side 212 of the curling edge 21 to be 0.1mm to 0.4mm, and more preferably 0.2 mm. Through this structural feature, it is beneficial to the good sealing between the cup lid and the cup body with conventional size.
The exemplary implementation of the scheme proposed in this disclosure has been described in detail above with reference to the preferred embodiments.
However, it can be understood by those skilled in the art that without departing from the concept of this disclosure, various changes and modifications can be made to the above specific embodiments, and various technical features and structures proposed in this disclosure can be combined in various ways without exceeding the scope of protection of this disclosure, which is determined by the appended claims.
