Selon un aspect, une composition comprenant Cassia mimosoides var. nomame en tant que principe actif peut favoriser ou améliorer le métabolisme énergétique pour présenter l'effet consistant à supprimer l'accumulation des lipides ou à réduire la graisse corporelle, ce qui permet de trouver des applications avantageuses dans le traitement de l'obésité et des maladies métaboliques.
