Abstract
Description
図1は、現像カートリッジ1、ドラムカートリッジ2、および画像形成装置100を示した図である。図2は、ドラムカートリッジ2の斜視図である。図3は、現像カートリッジ1が装着されたドラムカートリッジ2の斜視図である。
図1および図3に示すように、現像カートリッジ1は、筐体10、現像ローラ20、およびギア部30を備える。筐体10は、第1外表面11および第2外表面12を有する。第1外表面11は、第1方向における筐体10の一端に位置する。第2外表面12は、第1方向における筐体10の他端に位置する。第1外表面11と第2外表面12とは、第1方向において互いに離れている。
図1~図3に示すように、ドラムカートリッジ2は、ドラムフレーム40、感光体ドラム50、スコロトロン型帯電器60、第1メモリアセンブリ70、第2メモリアセンブリ80、およびロックレバー90を備える。
画像形成装置100は、プロセスカートリッジ3が通過可能な開口101と、本体カバー102とを有する。本体カバー102は、画像形成装置100の開口101を覆う閉鎖位置と、画像形成装置100の開口101を開く開放位置との間で、回動する。画像形成装置100にプロセスカートリッジ3を装着するときには、本体カバー102が開放位置に配置される。そして、プロセスカートリッジ3が、開口101を通って、画像形成装置100の内部へ装着される。このとき、プロセスカートリッジ3は、第3方向に沿って移動する。

現像ローラを有する現像カートリッジが装着可能なドラムフレームと、
第1方向に延びる第1軸について回転可能な感光体ドラムであって、前記ドラムフレームに前記現像カートリッジが装着された状態において、前記現像ローラと接触可能な感光体ドラムと、
第1電気的接触面を有する第1メモリであって、前記ドラムカートリッジに関する情報が記憶された第1メモリと、
前記第1電気的接触面とは異なる第2電気的接触面を有する第2メモリであって、前記現像カートリッジに関する情報が記憶された第2メモリと、
を備え、
前記第1電気的接触面および前記第2電気的接触面は、前記ドラムフレームの外表面に位置することを特徴とする、ドラムカートリッジ。 - 請求項1に記載のドラムカートリッジであって、
前記第1電気的接触面および前記第2電気的接触面は、前記第1方向における前記ドラムフレームの一端部に位置することを特徴とする、ドラムカートリッジ。 - 請求項2に記載のドラムカートリッジであって、
前記ドラムフレームに対する前記現像カートリッジの固定を解除するロックレバーであって、前記第1方向における前記ドラムフレームの他端部に位置するロックレバーをさらに備えることを特徴とする、ドラムカートリッジ。 - 請求項2または請求項3に記載のドラムカートリッジであって、
前記ドラムフレームは、
前記第1方向における前記ドラムフレームの一端部に位置する第1サイドフレームと、
前記第1方向における前記ドラムフレームの他端部に位置する第2サイドフレームと、を有し、
前記感光体ドラムは、前記第1方向において、前記第1サイドフレームと前記第2サイドフレームとの間に位置し、
前記ドラムフレームに前記現像カートリッジが装着された状態において、前記第1電気的接触面および前記第2電気的接触面は、前記第1方向において、前記第1サイドフレームに対して、前記現像カートリッジの反対側に位置することを特徴とする、ドラムカートリッジ。 - 請求項1から請求項4のいずれか一項に記載のドラムカートリッジであって、 前記第1電気的接触面を、前記ドラムフレームに対して移動可能に保持する第1ホルダをさらに備え、
前記第1電気的接触面は、前記第1ホルダを介して、前記ドラムフレームの外表面に取り付けられることを特徴とする、ドラムカートリッジ。 - 請求項5に記載のドラムカートリッジであって、
前記第1電気的接触面は、前記第1方向に対して交差する第2方向における前記第1ホルダの一端に位置し、
前記第1ホルダは、前記第1電気的接触面を、前記ドラムフレームに対して、前記第2方向に移動可能に保持することを特徴とする、ドラムカートリッジ。 - 請求項6に記載のドラムカートリッジであって、
前記感光体ドラムの表面を帯電させるスコロトロン型帯電器であって、前記第2方向において前記感光体ドラムと向かい合うスコロトロン型帯電器
をさらに備えることを特徴とする、ドラムカートリッジ。 - 請求項5から請求項7のいずれか一項に記載のドラムカートリッジであって、
前記第1ホルダは、前記第1メモリを保持することを特徴とする、ドラムカートリッジ。 - 請求項1から請求項8のいずれか一項に記載のドラムカートリッジであって、
前記第2電気的接触面を、前記ドラムフレームに対して移動可能に保持する第2ホルダをさらに備え、
前記第2電気的接触面は、前記第2ホルダを介して、前記ドラムフレームの外表面に取り付けられることを特徴とする、ドラムカートリッジ。 - 請求項9に記載のドラムカートリッジであって、
前記第2電気的接触面は、前記第1方向に対して交差する第2方向における前記第2ホルダの一端に位置し、

前記感光体ドラムの表面を帯電させるスコロトロン型帯電器であって、前記第2方向において前記感光体ドラムと向かい合うスコロトロン型帯電器

前記第1方向における前記ドラムフレームの一端部に位置する第1サイドフレームと、
前記第1方向における前記ドラムフレームの他端部に位置する第2サイドフレームと、を有し、
前記感光体ドラムは、前記第1方向において、前記第1サイドフレームと前記第2サイドフレームとの間に位置し、
前記ドラムフレームに前記現像カートリッジが装着された状態において、前記第1電気的接触面および前記第2電気的接触面は、前記第1方向において、前記第1サイドフレームに対して、前記現像カートリッジの反対側に位置することを特徴とする、ドラムカートリッジ。 - 請求項13に記載のドラムカートリッジであって、
前記第2ホルダは、前記第1方向に延びるボスを有し、
前記第1サイドフレームは、前記ボスが嵌まる孔または凹部を有し、
