  • front seats (50) may be carried out, there is a possibility that the faces of the backseat passengers crash on to the headrests of the front seats, though it does not possess any threat or danger for those backseat passengers who wear seatbelts as they would never have their faces thrown forwards with a bang (due to inertia) towards the quick approaching backseats. Therefore, the seat reclining arrangement may have to work lightning quick at the time crash or any similar emergency.

  • certain adjustments may be made that all the rows of seats except the last row are retracted back, for this all the rows of seats except for the last row rest on the plunger and position of the barrel may be shifted further backwards to ensure a proper and meaningful retraction.
  • the seatbelt with the elastic rubber strap which would act as a contact maintaining agent as well as the shock absorbing material.
  • the system aims to reduce the dependency on the airbags for the purpose of upper body injury evasion and especially the face safety. Further, the sliding adjustments in the system has been shifted from the platform fixed on the floor of the vehicle to the plunger of the piston. Also, the system is entirely a new measure to ensure the leg safety by making the use of cable holders which are to be locked in the calves of the front passengers’ legs and power spring for their retraction.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système de protection des occupants d'un véhicule. Le système comprend un agencement de rétraction de siège avant comprenant une unité de commande accouplée de manière fonctionnelle à une pluralité de capteurs; une unité de piston comprenant un piston, une première extrémité du piston comprenant un crochet et une seconde extrémité comprenant joint d'étanchéité ou un piston; un rail de coulissement associé au au moins un siège correspondant; une fixation de retenue de jambe accouplée fonctionnellement à l'agencement de rétraction de siège avant, la retenue de jambe comprenant un câble avec un support de jambe qui est enroulé avec un ressort de puissance; le verrou du câble est conçu pour être déverrouillé pour rétracter le câble vers le ressort et ainsi coller la au moins une jambe de l'utilisateur vers le siège pendant la rétraction du ou des sièges correspondants, lors de la réception de la commande de rétraction en provenance de l'unité de commande.
