- a valve 41 controlling the supply to the pneumatic pump 5 and the lance 21 is then switched to cut off the power supplies. Operation can be automatic if it is controlled by a pressure tap 42 of the second conduit 14 upstream of the main regulator 4, which presses on the valve 41 against the action of an opposing spring.
