  • the display panel 14 includes an array substrate 14a and a color filter substrate 14b. After the array substrate 14 a and the color filter substrate 14 b are fabricated, box forming and cutting processes are performed to form the display panel 14 . Both the array substrate 14a and the color filter substrate 14b are provided with glass substrates for carrying the film layer components in the array substrate 14a and the color filter substrate 14b. Therefore, after the cutting process, cracks will be generated on the display panel 14 due to factors such as cutter wheel wear, mechanical vibration and impact. The present application provides a repairing device and a repairing method. Each will be described in detail below. It should be noted that the description sequence of the following embodiments is not intended to limit the preferred sequence of the embodiments.
12。Please refer to FIG. 1 . FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram of the first structure of the repairing equipment provided by the present application. Repairing apparatus 10 may be used to repair display panel 14 . The repairing device 10 includes a clamping assembly 11 , a container 12 and a lifting module 13 . The clamping assembly 11 is used for clamping the display panel 14 . The container 12 is disposed below the clamping assembly 11 . The container 12 is used for containing the material 15 for repairing the crack of the display panel 14 . The lifting module 13 is connected to the clamping assembly 11 or the container 12 .
Wherein, please refer to FIG. 1 and FIG. 2 at the same time. FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram of cracks generated during the process of the display panel 14 provided by the present application. The display panel 14 includes an array substrate 14a and a color filter substrate 14b. For example, network micro-cracks, explosive micro-cracks, shell-shaped micro-cracks and so on. In addition, when the display panel 14 is made as a curved display screen, it is easy to generate cracks at the edges when it is bent.
Wherein, when the clamping assembly 11 clamps the display panel 14, the display panel 14 is in a vertical state. As shown in FIG. 1 , the clamping assembly 11 clamps the surface of the array substrate 14 a away from the color filter substrate 14 b and the surface of the color filter substrate 14 b away from the array substrate 14 a. This is because cracks in the display panel 14 usually occur at the edges of the display panel 14 . The vertical clamping can facilitate the immersion of the edge of the display panel 14 into the repairing material for repairing.
The repairing device 10 provided in the present application includes a clamping assembly 11 , a container 12 and a lifting module 13 . The display panel 14 to be repaired is clamped by the clamping assembly 11 . A container 12 is provided below the clamping assembly 11 , and the container 12 contains a material 15 for repairing cracks in the display panel 14 . The repairing device 10 of the present application controls the clamping assembly 11 to descend or the container 12 to rise through the lifting module 13 , so that the edge of the display panel 14 is immersed in the material 15 for repairing the crack of the display panel 14 . Then the material 15 for repairing the cracks of the display panel 14 fills the cracks of the display panel 14 to achieve repairing. Using the repairing equipment 10 provided by the present application to repair the display panel 14 can improve the glass strength and realize a curved display screen with low curvature. It can also improve the fragmentation problem in the manufacturing process of the display panel 14 and improve the product yield.
Wherein, the material 15 for repairing the crack of the display panel 14 may be the same as that of the glass substrate for making the display panel 14 . Since the material 15 for repairing the cracks of the display panel 14 is used to repair the cracks on the surface of the display panel 14, the best repairing effect can be achieved by using the same material as the glass substrate of the display panel 14 for repairing. Specifically, the material 15 for repairing cracks in the display panel 14 may be molten glass. The molten glass is made of silica as a main component, and is the same glass material as the glass substrate material of the display panel 14 . Or a material that can chemically react with the glass substrate material of the display panel 14 to establish a strong chemical bond.
Wherein, the container 12 is made of high temperature resistant material. When using the repairing device 10 to repair the cracks of the display panel 14 , the material 15 for repairing the cracks of the display panel 14 can be heated to a molten state at a high temperature. Then, the crack of the display panel 14 is repaired by using the material 15 for repairing the crack of the display panel 14 in molten state. Therefore, the container 12 is required to have high temperature resistance. Specifically, the container 12 can withstand a high temperature of 500°C to 600°C.
Wherein, the material used for the container 12 may be a metal alloy containing nickel (Ni) and chromium (Cr) elements. Specifically, the material used for the container 12 is RA330 alloy, Incoloy 800 nickel base alloy or Inconel 625 alloy.
Wherein, the lifting module 13 can be one of a slide rail, a gear set, a telescopic rod or a scissor fork. For example, the lifting module 13 is a telescopic rod, and the telescopic rod includes a sleeve and a support rod, and the support rod is connected to the clamping assembly 11 or the container 12 . The support rod is movably connected with the casing and can move up and down to control the up and down movement of the clamping assembly 11 or the container 12 . It can be understood that, the above enumeration of the lifting module 13 is only an example, and is not intended to limit the present application.
It should be noted that the lifting module 13 can be connected to the clamping assembly 11 or to the container 12 . Alternatively, two lifting modules 13 are provided, which are respectively connected to the clamping assembly 11 and the container 12 . Simultaneously control the up and down movement of the clamping assembly 11 and the container 12 .
Please continue with Figure 1. The repair device 10 also includes a chamber 16 . The clamping assembly 11 includes a first clamping portion 11a and a second clamping portion 11b oppositely disposed. The top of the chamber 16 is provided with a first opening 16a. The first clamping portion 11a and the second clamping portion 11b are respectively movably connected to two sides of the first opening 16a.
Wherein, the first clamping part 11 a and the second clamping part 11 b can move horizontally on the top of the chamber 16 , that is, the distance between the first clamping part 11 a and the second clamping part 11 b can be adjusted. The first clamping portion 11a and the second clamping portion 11b move back to increase the distance between the first clamping portion 11a and the second clamping portion 11b, so as to facilitate the display panel 14 to extend into the first opening 16a. After the display panel 14 is inserted into the first opening 16a, the first clamping portion 11a and the second clamping portion 11b move toward each other to clamp the display panel 14, so that the display panel 14 and the repairing device 10 form a stable positional relationship.
It should be noted that the chamber 16 in this application is a closed chamber with openings only at the bottom and top, and the top is connected with the first clamping part 11a and the second clamping part 11b which can move horizontally. The chamber 16 is provided to protect the display panel 14 and the material 15 for repairing the cracks of the display panel 14 during the repairing process, so as to prevent dust and dust from entering. It can be understood that the chamber 16 in the present application may also be set as an unclosed cavity, which is not limited in the present application.
Please refer to FIG. 3 . FIG. 3 is a second structural schematic diagram of the repairing equipment provided by the present application. The repairing device 10 may further include a control module 17 , a manipulator 18 and a camera 19 . The control module 17 is respectively connected to the clamping assembly 11 , the manipulator 18 and the camera 19 . The robot arm 18 is used to grab the display panel 14 . The camera 19 is arranged on the side wall of the chamber 16 . The camera 19 is used to acquire images of the display panel 14 . The control module 17 is used to control the manipulator 18 to move the display panel 14 to a first set position according to the image.
14。In order to achieve more convenient and accurate operation, the repairing equipment 10 of the present application may also be provided with a control module 17 , a manipulator 18 and a camera 19 . As mentioned above, when the display panel 14 does not extend into the first opening 16a, the clamping assembly 11 is opened. The manipulator 18 grabs the display panel 14 and makes the display panel 14 extend into the first opening 16 a under the control of the control module 17 . At the same time, the camera 19 arranged on the side wall acquires real-time images of the display panel 14, and when the display panel 14 reaches the first set position, the manipulator 18 stops moving. At this time, the control module 17 controls the clamping assembly 11 to tighten to fix the display panel 14 .
Wherein, the control module 17 includes a display screen, and the first alignment mark is displayed on the display screen. The display panel 14 is provided with a second alignment mark. The camera 19 acquires the second alignment mark. When the first alignment mark and the second alignment mark are aligned, the display panel 14 reaches the first set position. Wherein, the first alignment mark and the second alignment mark can be cross-shaped marks, and the cross-shaped marks can align the positions of the display panel 14 in both horizontal and vertical directions to improve alignment accuracy. Wherein, there may be multiple cameras 19, and they may be arranged on the chamber 16 at multiple angles. Setting multiple cameras 19 can make the alignment of the display panel 14 more precise.
Wherein, the hand of the manipulator 18 can be a mechanical finger, and can also be a vacuum chuck or a magnetic chuck. In Fig. 3, a two-finger mechanical finger is taken as an example for illustration. The manipulator 18 has flexible movements, small motion inertia, strong versatility, can grab workpieces, and can work around obstacles. Using the manipulator 18 to grab the display panel 14 requires less space for work, and can accurately put the display panel 14 into the clamping assembly 11 .
In this embodiment, the repairing device 10 is provided with a control module 17 , a manipulator 18 and a camera 19 , so that the position of the display panel 14 can be positioned more accurately. In addition, as mentioned above, the display panel 14 is clamped vertically. The arrangement of the manipulator 18 can facilitate the adjustment of the direction of the display panel 14 . After the first edge of the display panel 14 is repaired, the second edge of the display panel 14 can be grasped by a robot, and then an edge of the display panel 14 parallel to the second edge is immersed in the repairing material for repair. In this way, the repair work on the four edges of the display panel 14 is realized.
Please continue with Figure 3. The repair device 10 may also include a detection module 20 . The bottom of the chamber 16 is also provided with a second opening 16b. The lifting module 13 is connected to the container 12 . The lifting module 13 passes through the second opening 16b. The detection module 20 is arranged on the side wall of the chamber 16 and is used to acquire the real-time position of the container 12 . The control module 17 is also used to judge whether the container 12 is at the second set position according to the real-time position, and if so, control the container 12 to descend after maintaining the first preset time.
Wherein, the detection module 20 may be a sensor. It is relatively accurate to determine the real-time position of the container 12 through sensors. It can be understood that, in some embodiments, the detection module 20 may be replaced by a physical limiter. That is, a protrusion is provided on the side wall of the repairing device 10 to hold the container 12 at the second set position, so that the container 12 stops rising.
In order to ensure the repairing effect, the display panel 14 will not always be immersed in the material 15 for repairing the cracks of the display panel 14 . Therefore, a detection module 20 is provided in the patching device 10 to acquire the real-time position of the container 12 . And the lifting module 13 is connected to the container 12 to control the container 12 to move up and down. When the display panel 14 is fixed at the first set position, the lifting module 13 controls the container 12 to move upward. The real-time position of the container 12 is acquired by the detection module 20 , when the container 12 moves to the second set position, that is, the display panel 14 has been immersed in the material 15 for repairing the crack of the display panel 14 . By adjusting the container 12 to the second set position by the control module 17 and the detection module 20 , the depth of the display panel 14 immersed in the material 15 for repairing the crack of the display panel 14 can be adjusted.
Wherein, the depth of the display panel 14 immersed in the material 15 for repairing cracks of the display panel 14 is less than or equal to 0.6 mm. The cracks of the display panel 14 usually occur at the edge of the display panel 14. Experiments have shown that the crack depth is usually in the range of 10 microns to 500 microns, and the distance between the devices in the display panel 14 and the edge of the display panel 14 is less than 0.6 mm. . Therefore, the depth of the display panel 14 immersed in the material 15 for repairing the cracks of the display panel 14 is less than or equal to 0.6 millimeters, and the cracks in the display panel 14 can be repaired. At the same time, the material 15 for repairing the cracks of the display panel 14 is repaired in a molten state. The state material does not contact the device part of the display panel 14, and will not affect the performance of the device in the display panel 14. Specifically, the immersion depth can be 0.6 mm, 0.5 mm, 0.4 mm, 0.3 mm, 0.2 mm or 0.1 mm.
In this embodiment, the camera 19 acquires the position of the display panel 14 and aligns the display panel 14 . The detection module 20 acquires the real-time position of the container 12 so that the container 12 moves to a second preset position and stops. Through the cooperation of the camera 19 and the detection module 20 , the relative position of the display panel 14 and the container 12 can be adjusted, and the depth of the display panel 14 immersed in the material 15 for repairing the cracks of the display panel 14 can be controlled.
Please continue with Figure 3. The repair device 10 may also comprise heating means 21 . The heating device 21 is arranged on the bottom of the container 12 or the side wall of the container 12 .
As mentioned above, the material 15 for repairing the crack of the display panel 14 is a molten material. A heating device 21 is provided at the bottom of the container 12 or on the side wall of the container 12, so that the material 15 for repairing cracks in the display panel 14 can be maintained in a molten state in the container 12, avoiding the problem that the material is cooled in the container 12 and the repair effect is not good. It can also save complicated feeding steps, speed up the production schedule and save production time.
The repairing device 10 provided in this embodiment is provided with a control module 17 , a manipulator 18 , a camera 19 and a detection module 20 , so that the control of the clamping component 11 and the container 12 is more intelligent and automatic. And the relative position of the display panel 14 and the container 12 can be controlled by the control module 17, so that the immersion depth of the display panel 14 can be controlled. In addition, the repairing device 10 is also provided with a heating device 21 to ensure the melting state of the material 15 for repairing the cracks of the display panel 14 and to obtain a better repairing effect.
The application also provides a repairing method. The repairing method adopts the above-mentioned repairing equipment for repairing the display panel. Please refer to FIG. 3 and FIG. 4 at the same time. FIG. 4 is a schematic flow chart of the first repair method provided by this application. The repair method specifically includes the following steps:
14。Step 101 , the clamping assembly 11 clamps the display panel 14 .
14。Specifically, the clamping assembly 11 is opened, and the opening width is greater than the thickness of the display panel 14, so as to prevent the display panel 14 from being damaged when it extends into the opening. After the display panel 14 is inserted into the opening, the clamping assembly 11 is tightened to fix the display panel 14 .
Step 102 , placing the material 15 for repairing the crack of the display panel 14 in the container 12 .
Specifically, glass material or molten glass is put into the container 12 . The molten glass is made of silica as a main component, and is the same glass material as the glass substrate material of the display panel 14 . Or a material that can chemically react with the glass substrate material of the display panel 14 to establish a strong chemical bond. Wherein, the material 15 for repairing the crack can be put into the container 12 first, and then heated to a molten state. The material 15 for repairing the crack of the display panel 14 may also be heated to a molten state before being transferred into the container 12 .
Step 103 , the lifting module 13 drives the clamping assembly 11 or the container 12 to move, so that the crack of the display panel 14 is immersed in the material for a first preset time.
Wherein, the repairing device 10 further includes a control module 17 , a manipulator 18 , a camera 19 and a detection module 20 . The lifting module 13 is connected to the container 12 . Please refer to FIG. 5 . FIG. 5 is a schematic flowchart of a sub-flow of the repair method provided by the present application. The lifting module 13 drives the clamping assembly 11 or the container 12 to move, so that the crack of the display panel 14 is immersed in the material 15 for repairing the crack of the display panel 14, and maintains the first preset time, including the following steps:
Step 1031 , the detection module 20 acquires the real-time position of the container 12 .
Step 1032, the control module 17 judges whether the container 12 is at the second set position according to the real-time position, and if so, maintains it for the first preset time.
Wherein, the first preset time is less than or equal to 1 second. The time for the display panel 14 to be immersed in the material 15 for repairing cracks in the display panel 14 cannot be too long, because the material 15 for repairing cracks in the display panel 14 is in a molten state and has a relatively high temperature. If the display panel 14 is submerged for a long time, the display panel 14 may be easily damaged.
19。Please refer to FIG. 3 and FIG. 6 at the same time. FIG. 6 is a schematic flow chart of the second repair method provided by this application. The clamping assembly 11 includes a first clamping portion 11a and a second clamping portion 11b oppositely disposed. The repairing device 10 also includes a control module 17 , a manipulator 18 and a camera 19 .
Step 201, the manipulator 18 grabs the display panel 14 and inserts it between the first clamping part 11a and the second clamping part 11b.
Among them, the manipulator 18 can imitate certain action functions of the human hand and arm, and is used to grab and carry objects or operate an automatic operating device according to a fixed program. The manipulator 18 can be programmed to complete the work of grabbing the display panel 14 .
Step 202 , the camera 19 acquires an image of the display panel 14 .
14。Step 203 , the control module 17 controls the manipulator 181 to move the display panel 14 to the first set position according to the image, and then the control module 17 controls the first clamping part 11 a and the second clamping part 11 b to clamp the display panel 14 .
First use the manipulator 18 to put the display panel 14 into the clamping assembly 11, and the clamping assembly 11 is not closed. The alignment mark on the display panel 14 is captured by the camera 19 on the body to perform alignment correction, and the position of the display panel 14 is adjusted. When the display panel 14 reaches the first set position, the alignment is completed.
14。Step 204 , the clamping assembly 11 clamps the display panel 14 .
14。Wherein, the clamping assembly 11 includes a first clamping portion 11a and a second clamping portion 11b. The first clamping portion 11 a and the second clamping portion 11 b move toward each other to a designated position to clamp the display panel 14 . The distance between the first clamping portion 11 a and the second clamping portion 11 b can be controlled by the control module 17 to avoid damage to the display panel 14 during clamping. After the clamping assembly 11 clamps the display panel 14 , the manipulator 18 releases the display panel 14 .
Step 205 , placing the material for repairing the crack of the display panel 14 in the container.
Wherein, the material 15 for repairing the crack of the display panel 14 can be put into the container 12 first, and then heated to a molten state. The material 15 for repairing the crack of the display panel 14 may also be heated to a molten state before being transferred into the container 12 .
600℃。Step 206, heating the container 12 and the material 15 for repairing the crack of the display panel 14, the heating temperature is greater than or equal to 600°C.
Wherein, the repairing device 10 also includes a heating device 21 . The heating device 21 is arranged on the bottom of the container 12 or the side wall of the container 12 .
800℃。The container 12 is made of materials resistant to high temperatures of 600°C to 800°C. The heating device 21 on the bottom or side wall of the container 12 heats the container 12 and keeps the temperature above 600°C. After putting the material 15 for repairing the crack of the display panel 14 into the container 12 . The heating device 21 continuously supplies heat to the container 12 , and the high temperature keeps the material 15 for repairing the crack of the display panel 14 in a molten state. Before the display panel 14 is clamped stably, the container 12 is at a low position, and the internal material 15 for repairing the crack of the display panel 14 does not contact the display panel 14 . Specifically, the heating temperature of the heating device 21 is 600°C, 650°C, 700°C, 750°C or 800°C.
Step 207 , the lifting module 13 drives the clamping assembly 11 or the container 12 to move, so that the crack of the display panel 14 is immersed in the material 15 for repairing the crack of the display panel 14 for a first preset time.
Specifically, the container 12 is slowly raised under the drive of the lifting module 13 until the display panel 14 is in contact with the crack repairing material. At this time, the position of the container 12 can be limited according to the detection module 20 on the repairing device 10 . And cooperate with the camera 19 to align the position, determine the relative position of the display panel 14 and the container 12, and then determine the immersion depth.
Wherein, the first preset time is less than or equal to 1 second. Specifically, the first preset time may be 0.5 second, 0.6 second, 0.7 second, 0.8 second, 0.9 second or 1 second. The duration of the first preset time can be set by the control module 17 .
15。Step 208 , the lifting module 13 drives the container 12 down, so that the display panel 14 is separated from the material 15 for repairing the crack of the display panel 14 .
Step 209 , cooling down the display panel for a second preset time.
Specifically, after the display panel 14 is immersed in the material 15 for repairing the cracks of the display panel 14 , the lifting module 13 drives the container 12 to drop rapidly to break away from the contact with the display panel 14 .
Since the temperature of the crack repairing material in the molten state is very high, the continuous high temperature will deform the display panel 14 or affect the devices in the display panel 14 . Because the temperature is high, but the immersion time is short and the immersion depth is small, the crack repairing material quickly adheres to the display panel 14 and cools down to normal temperature. The crack repairing material can quickly fill various micro cracks on the surface of the display panel 14 . And because of another temperature change from high temperature to normal temperature, the edge of the display panel 14 is equivalent to a physical toughening, which further increases the strength of the display panel 14 .
Wherein, the second preset time is 20 seconds to 80 seconds. Specifically, the second preset time is 20 seconds, 30 seconds, 40 seconds, 50 seconds, 60 seconds, 70 seconds or 80 seconds. After cooling down for a second preset time, the display panel 14 is removed by using the manipulator 18 . The duration of the second preset time can be set by the control module 17 .
It should be noted that, in this application, molten glass is used to repair cracks on the display panel 14 . When the heating temperature is higher, the fluidity of molten glass is better. For example, when the heating temperature is close to 800° C., the molten glass for repairing cracks has good fluidity, and the display panel 14 can be repaired within a short immersion time. In addition, if the residence time is too long, the possibility of high temperature damage to the display panel 14 is greater. Therefore, if the heating temperature is relatively high, a shorter first preset time and a longer second preset time are selected so that the display panel 14 can be fully cooled after being repaired. On the contrary, when the heating temperature is low, that is, when the fluidity of the molten glass is weak, the time for the display panel 14 to be immersed in the material is closer to one second, and a better repairing effect can be achieved.
In addition, when the temperature is high, the immersion depth of the display panel 14 can be adjusted to be closer to the maximum size of the crack. For example, when the temperature is 800°C, the measured maximum crack size in the display panel 14 is 5 mm, then the immersion depth is set to 5 mm to reduce the possibility of thermal damage to the display panel 14 caused by the high-temperature crack repairing material .
Optionally, after cooling the display panel 14 for a second preset time, a step is further included: performing surface scraping treatment on the display panel 14 . After the repair process of the display panel 14 , there are subsequent treatments. Therefore, the surface of the display panel 14 is not exposed, and the protrusions can be covered by encapsulation and other treatments. In order to ensure a better shape of the display panel 14 , the surface of the display panel 14 may be treated with scraping glue if the process permits. In fact, because the immersion time of the crack repairing material is very short and the immersion depth is small, the immersion of the crack repairing material has a very high temperature. Therefore, there is no obvious protrusion on the surface of the display panel 14 .
After the surface scraping treatment is performed on the display panel 14 , the surface of the display panel 14 is smoother. The film layer in the subsequent process can be better bonded to the display panel 14, avoiding the situation of film layer falling off or poor packaging.
The repair method provided in this application uses a repair device 10 . Put the molten material 15 for repairing the cracks of the display panel 14 into the container 12 , clamp the display panel 14 with the clamping assembly 11 , and then control the edge of the display panel 14 to immerse in the material 15 for repairing the cracks of the display panel 14 . The material 15 for repairing the cracks of the display panel 14 fills the cracks of the display panel 14 to achieve repair. Using the repairing equipment 10 provided by the present application to repair the display panel 14 can improve the glass strength and realize a curved display screen with low curvature.
