Description
HAIR CARE SERUM CONTAINING AQUEOUS EXTRACTS OF PLANTS AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF
Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a hair care serum which is developed for use in hair, eyebrow and beard care, contains aqueous extracts of plants that provide strengthening of hair roots, thickening of weak hairs and increasing hair formation.
The present invention particularly relates to a hair care serum which is developed for use in hair, eyebrow and beard care in woman or man, contains aqueous extracts of plants that provide strengthening of hair roots when applied on the skin, thickening of weak hairs and increasing hair formation.
State of the Art
Hair loss is a problem which occurs due to age, environmental factors or health problems and negatively affects the person in daily life. Preventing hair loss against physiological, genetic or environmental factors, strengthening hair follicles and increasing hair formation are important for increasing the life quality of individuals.
Formulations prepared for hair care recently contain chemicals that have generally harmful effects on human health. Synthetic oils are used in many formulations called herbal. Therefore, these products are not obtained naturally.
The application numbered TR 2019/07711 titled "Hair strengthening herbal care lotion and production method" has been encountered in the literature. Here, a hair strengthening herbal care lotion which prevents hair loss, provides cell renewal in the hair follicles of the users and at the same time allows the hair to grow in a healthy way and production method thereof is disclosed. The herbal care lotion herein contains the following; juice of onionskin, pine turpentine, rice water, dry yeast, honey, coconut oil, castor oil, almond oil, lavender oil, bay oil, garlic oil, black seed oil, jojoba oil, rosemary oil, violet oil, clove oil, avocado oil, sesame oil, popyseed oil, peppermint oil, snake oil, antifoam and powdered birth control pill. Said formulation contains chemical components and drugs such as antifoam and birth control pills that have unknown effects on the skin and may be harmful to human health. Moreover, oils that are synthetically derived are used as vegetable oil here.
The application numbered EP17745753 (2020/12988) with the title "Hair care composition" regarding the subject matter was also encountered. Hereby, hair care compositions that stimulate improved hair growth and growth for long-term hair care are disclosed. This composition comprises; a polymorph of calcium carbonate, a water- soluble calcium compound and a suitable carrier. Said polymorph may be at least one of calcite, vaterite or aragonite and the particle size of this polymorph is between 1 pm and 10 pm. The product here is claimed to exhibit a superior activity in stimulating hair growth. However, said product contains chemical components that may be harmful to human health.
As a result, due to the abovementioned disadvantages and the insufficiency of the current solutions regarding the subject matter, a development is required to be made in the relevant technical field.
Brief Description of the Invention
The present invention is related to hair care serum which fulfills the abovementioned requirements, eliminates all disadvantages and brings some additional advantages.
The main aim of the invention is to develop a hair care serum that provides nourishment of hair follicles by accelerating blood circulation in the skin with the help of its herbal ingredients.
A similar aim of the invention is to develop a hair care serum that strengthens the hair follicles and increases the formation of the hair, thickens the weak hairs, strengthens the hair follicles and reduces the hair loss when it is applied on the skin.
Another aim of the invention is to develop a hair care serum completely consisting of herbal ingredients that does not contain any chemical synthetic product.
Another aim of the invention is to develop a hair care serum to be used on the region where hair, eyebrows and beard in women or men that are required to be strengthened.
In order to fulfill the abovementioned aims, the invention comprises an aqueous extract of puncture vine (Tribulus terrestris) and lignum vitae (Thuja orientalis), rubber tree (Ficus Benjamina), developed for use in hair, eyebrow and beard care.
In order to fulfill the abovementioned aims, the inventive hair care serum production method comprises the following process steps: a. boiling purified water, b. cooling boiling water to a temperature range of 75 - 80 °C, c. drying the preferred plant, d. mixing dried plant with cooled water, e. keeping the mixture in a closed container, f. filtering the mixture and obtaining the plant juice extract, g. applying the processes in steps a-f separately for each plant to be used in the subject of invention, h. mixing plant juice extracts in proportions suitable for the preferred embodiments of the subject of the invention, i. filtering the mixture, j. sterilizing, k. packing.
The structural and characteristic features of the present invention will be understood clearly by the following detailed description and therefore the evaluation shall be made by taking the detailed description into consideration.
Detailed Description of the Invention
In this detailed description, the inventive hair care serum is described only for clarifying the subject matter in a manner such that no limiting effect is created.
The inventive hair care serum mainly comprises an aqueous extract of puncture vine (Tribulus terrestris), lignum vitae (Thuja orientalis) and rubber tree (Ficus Benjamina). In a preferred embodiment, there is further an aqueous extract of field horsetail (equisetum arvense), an aqueous extract of ginger (Zingiber officinalis) and an aqueous extract of
rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis). The usable and preferred weights of the components related to this configuration are submitted here in Table 1 as percentages.
First of all the purified water is boiled and then this boiling water is cooled to a temperature of 75 - 80°C, preferably 80°C so as to obtain the inventive hair care serum. The preferred plant to be used in the production of the inventive hair care serum is dried under appropriate conditions. During this process, special care is taken such that mold, fungus and bacteria are not formed. Then, dried plant is added to the water with a temperature of 75-80 °C and mixed. This mixture is kept with closed mouth for 12-28 hours, preferably 24 hours. The plants extract is allowed to penetrate in the water during this period. Here, since the water is in the range of 75 - 80°C, preferably 80°C, it is provided that the active substance passes into the water without spoiling the structure of the plant. Subsequently, the plant particles that have completed their task from this mixture are filtered and the aqueous extract of plant is obtained. Water is used to activate the active substances in the plants; no chemicals are used in said processes so as to activate active ingredients in plants. These processes are applied separately for each plant to be used in obtaining the inventive hair care serum. Then, the aqueous extracts of these plants are mixed in proportions that are appropriate for the preferred embodiments of the inventive hair care serum. Then, aqueous extract mixtures of the plants are filtered
and the particles separated from the extract mixture. Therefore, both precipitation formation in the package and the clogging of the spray bottle pump during use are eliminated. Then, filtered extract mixture is sterilized to eliminate the microbiological growth in the package. Thus, the inventive hair care serum is obtained. Finally, this hair care serum is packed by filling the same in spray bottles or dropping bottles.
Obtained hair care serum is applicable by massaging the hair follicles. A comb can be used for massage. The skin in the area where the product will be applied is brushed by pressing the skin by means of the comb that will be provided with the product and hair care serum is applied to the skin with the help of spray or dropper. Subsequently, application is made again with a comb.
