Abstract

The present invention concerns a slimming composition [composition (B), herein after] comprising, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (B): from 30.00 to 70.00 percent by weight [wt. %, herein after] of green tea extract and/or green coffee bean extract; from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of Hibiscus extract; from 0.10 to 10.00 wt. % of guarana extract; and from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of at least one fat burning ingredient chosen among L-carnitine, alkanoylated L-carnitine, or salts thereof. The composition (B) exhibits an improved slimming effect due to the synergy between its ingredients.

Description

“Slimming beverage composition”
Field of the invention
The present invention concerns a slimming composition, in particular a slimming cosmetic composition and a slimming pharmaceutical composition, and a beverage comprising said slimming composition.
Background of the invention
In western countries, obesity in the general population has increased dramatically due to a combination of various factors including over consumption of carbohydrate rich food and fat rich food, physical inactivity, genetics and health problems.
It is generally accepted that obesity impacts the incidence of cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes mellitus, cancer, osteoarthritis, and sleep apnea. As a consequence, obesity has become a global public health concern. Various strategies have been develop to help people lose weight and slimming beverages have thus become very popular is recent times. Slimming beverages are often based on green tea which comprises polyphenols, caffeine and anti-oxidants. However, the weight loss efficiency of green tea can vary significantly due, among other things to genetics and consumption habits. As a result, the weight loss is not always satisfactory.
Other popular teas used for weight loss include puerh tea, black tea, oolong tea and white tea.
However, weight loss is not always satisfactory when known slimming beverages are used. Therefore, there is a continuous need for improved slimming beverages and beverage composition with improved weight loss properties. Summary of the invention
The inventors have surprisingly found out that the present invention solves the above-mentioned problems.
In one aspect, the present invention concerns a composition [composition (B), herein after] comprising, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (B):
- from 30.00 to 70.00 percent by weight [wt. %, herein after] of green tea extract and/or green coffee bean extract;
- from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of Hibiscus extract;
- from 0.10 to 10.00 wt. % of guarana extract; and
- from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of at least one fat burning ingredient chosen among L-carnitine, alkanoylated L-carnitine, or salts thereof.
In another aspect, the present invention concerns a slimming cosmetic composition [composition (Be), herein after] comprising, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (Be):
- from 30.00 to 70.00 percent by weight [wt. %, herein after] of green tea extract and/or green coffee bean extract;
- from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of Hibiscus extract;
- from 0.10 to 10.00 wt. % of guarana extract; and
- from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of at least one fat burning ingredient chosen among L-carnitine, alkanoylated L-carnitine, or salts thereof.
In another aspect, the present invention also concerns a non- therapeutic cosmetic method for improving the aesthetic appearance of a person comprising the administration, preferably the oral administration, to said person of the composition (Be). In particular, the present invention also concerns a non-therapeutic cosmetic method of slimming care comprising the administration, preferably the oral administration, of the composition (Be). In another aspect, the present invention concerns a slimming pharmaceutical composition for use in the therapeutic treatment of obesity or obesity-related disorders [composition (BT), herein after], said composition (BT) comprising, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (BT):
- from 30.00 to 70.00 percent by weight [wt. %, herein after] of green tea extract and/or green coffee bean extract;
- from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of Hibiscus extract;
- from 0.10 to 10.00 wt. % of guarana extract; and - from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of at least one fat burning ingredient chosen among L-carnitine, alkanoylated L-carnitine, or salts thereof.
In another aspect, the present invention also concerns a slimming beverage comprising said composition (B), composition (Be), or composition (BT).
Detailed description of the invention
Within the context of the present invention, the term “comprising” should not be interpreted as being restricted to the means listed thereafter; it does not exclude other elements. It needs to be interpreted as specifying the presence of the stated features, integers, or components as referred to, but does not preclude the presence or addition of one or more other features, integers, or components, or groups thereof. Thus, the scope of the expression “a composition comprising compounds A and B” should not be limited to compositions consisting only of compounds A and B. It means that with respect to the present invention, the only relevant compounds of the composition are A and B. Accordingly, the terms “comprising” and “including” encompass the more restrictive terms “consisting essentially of” and “consisting of”.
In the context of the present invention, the terms “slimming beverage” and “slimming composition” are intended to denote respectively a beverage and a composition suitable for inducing a decrease in body weight (e.g., a decrease of 2%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%, 30%, 40%, 50%, 55%, 60%, 70%, 80%, or 90%) and/or a decrease of body dimensions (e.g., measurements of the bust, waist, and/or hips) and/or a decrease in body fat.
Within the context of the present invention the term “green tea extract” is given its usual meaning as known in the art. In general a green tea extract may be a material obtained by at least one solvent (such as water) extraction from Camellia sinensis leaves and/or buds. A process for producing green tea extract may also comprise additional steps. Generally, for green tea, Camellia sinensis leaves and buds do not undergo the same withering and oxidation processes used to make oolong teas and black teas. Generally, a green tea extract comprises polyphenols, caffeine and anti-oxidants. Examples of polyphenols present in green tea extracts include but are not limited to: epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), epigallocatechin (EGC), epicatechin gallate (ECG), epicatechin (EC), and mixtures thereof.
Within the context of the present invention the term “green coffee bean extract” is given its usual meaning as known in the art. In general a green coffee bean extract may be a material obtained by solvent (such as water and/or ethanol and/or any other suitable solvents) extraction from green coffee beans. A process for producing green coffee bean extract may also comprise additional steps such as coffee beans grinding. Within the context of the present invention, the term “green coffee bean” refers to either immature coffee beans or even mature coffee beans which have not been roasted.
Within the context of the present invention the term “Hibiscus extract” is given its usual meaning as known in the art. In general a Hibiscus extract may be a material obtained by solvent (such as water and/or ethanol) extraction from Hibiscus flowers, such as Hibiscus sabdariffa flowers. A process for producing Hibiscus extract may also comprise additional steps. The extraction is for example often carried out by maceration. Generally, hibiscus extracts comprise protocatechuic acid and anthocyanins, such as delphinidin-3-O-glucoside, delphinidin-3-O- sambubioside, and cyanidin-3-O-sambubioside and mixtures thereof.
Within the context of the present invention the term “Guarana extract” is given its usual meaning as known in the art. In general a Guarana extract may be a material obtained by solvent (such as water and/or ethanol) extraction from guarana seeds and/or plant. A process for producing Guarana extract may also comprise additional steps. The guarana plant is also called Paullinia Cupana. Generally guarana extracts comprise polyphenols such as catechin and stimulants, such as caffeine, theophylline and theobromine.
Extracts are usually obtained via solvent extraction which are then concentrated and/or dried. Thus, in the context of the present invention, the term “extract” encompasses a liquid and a solid extract.
Said composition (B), as detailed above, may also be in liquid or solid form.
The present invention further concerns a slimming composition [composition (B), herein after] comprising, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (B):
- from 30.00 to 70.00 percent by weight [wt. %, herein after] of green tea extract and/or green coffee bean extract;
- from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of Hibiscus extract;
- from 0.10 to 10.00 wt. % of guarana extract; and
- from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of at least one fat burning ingredient chosen among L-carnitine, alkanoylated L-carnitine, or salts thereof.
Green tea, Hibiscus and Guarana are known to induce body weight loss and/or body fat reduction. Fat burning ingredients such as L-carnitine, as their name indicate, are also known to promote body fat reduction. Thus, broadly speaking, these ingredients may be described as having a slimming effect. The inventors have found that the composition (B), as detailed above, comprising all these ingredients combined together with guarana extract in the above mentioned weight percentages, has an improved slimming effect. Therefore, the composition (B), as detailed above, is a slimming composition which is suitable for use in non- therapeutic cosmetic methods for improving the aesthetic appearance of a person. Particularly, the composition (B) is a slimming composition which is suitable for use in non-therapeutic cosmetic methods of slimming care. Indeed, there is a synergy between the guarana extract and the other ingredients of the composition (B). As a result, the improved slimming effect of the composition (B) is more important than the sum of the slimming effects caused by each of the ingredients of the composition (B). This result is all the more surprising given the small amount of guarana extract comprised in the composition (B).
According to the invention, said composition (B) comprises, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (B), from 30.00 to 70.00 wt.% of green tea extract and/or green coffee bean extract.
Preferably, said composition (B) comprises, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (B), at least 35.00 wt.%, more preferably at least 40.00 wt.%, even more preferably at least 45.00 wt.% of green tea extract and/or green coffee bean extract.
Preferably, said composition (B) comprises, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (B), at most 65.00 wt.%, more preferably at most 60.00 wt.%, even more preferably at most 55.00 wt.% of green tea extract and/or green coffee bean extract. In a preferred embodiment, said composition (B) comprises, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (B), at least 3.00 wt.% and at most 65.00 wt.%, more preferably at least 40.00 wt.% and at most 60.00 wt.%, even more preferably at least 45.00 wt.% and at most 55.00 wt.% of green tea extract and/or green coffee bean extract. According to the invention, said composition (B) comprises, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (B), from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of Hibiscus extract.
Preferably, said composition (B) comprises, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (B), at least 15.00 wt.%, more preferably at least 17.00 wt.%, even more preferably at least 20.00 wt.% of Hibiscus extract.
Preferably, said composition (B) comprises, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (B), at most 35.00 wt.%, more preferably at most 30.00 wt.%, even more preferably at most 25.00 wt.% of Hibiscus extract.
In a preferred embodiment, said composition (B) comprises, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (B), at least 15.00 wt.% and at most 35.00 wt.%, more preferably at least 17.00 wt.% and at most 30.00 wt.%, even more preferably at least 20.00 wt.% and at most 25.00 wt.% of Hibiscus extract.
According to the invention, said composition (B) comprises, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (B), from 0.10 to 10.00 wt. % of guarana extract.
Preferably, said composition (B) comprises, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (B), at least 0.50 wt.%, more preferably at least 1 .00 wt.%, even more preferably at least 1 .50 wt.% of guarana extract.
Preferably, said composition (B) comprises, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (B), at most 7.00 wt.%, more preferably at most 5.00 wt.%, even more preferably at most 4.00 wt.% of guarana extract.
In a preferred embodiment, said composition (B) comprises, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (B), at least 0.50 wt.% and at most 7.00 wt.%, more preferably at least 1 .00 wt.% and at most 5 wt.%, even more preferably at least 0.25 wt.% and at most 4.00 wt.% of guarana extract.
According to the invention, said composition (B) comprises, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (B), from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of said at least one fat burning ingredient. Preferably, said composition (B) comprises, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (B), at least 15.00 wt.%, more preferably at least 17.00 wt.%, even more preferably at least 20.00 wt.% of said at least one fat burning ingredient.
Preferably, said composition (B) comprises, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (B), at most 35.00 wt.%, more preferably at most 30.00 wt.%, even more preferably at most 28.00 wt.% of said at least one fat burning ingredient.
In a preferred embodiment, said composition (B) comprises, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (B), at least 15.00 wt.% and at most 35.00 wt.%, more preferably at least 17.00 wt.% and at most 30.00 wt.%, even more preferably at least 20.00 wt.% and at most 28.00 wt.% of said at least one fat burning ingredient.
According to the invention, said at least one fat burning ingredient is chosen among L-carnitine, alkanoylated L-carnitine, or salts thereof.
The terms “alkanoylated L-carnitine” is intended to denote L-carnitine wherein the hydroxyl group has undergone an acylation reaction, thereby resulting in the formation of an ester group.
The alkanoylated L-carnitine may be any alkanoylated L-carnitine known by the skilled in the art.
Examples of alkanoylated L-carnitine include but are not limited to: acetyl-L-carnitine, propionyl-L-carnitine, butanoyl-L-carnitine, pentanoyl-L- carnitine, hexanoyl-L-carnitine, heptanoyl-L-carnitine, octanoyl-L-carnitine.
Salts of L-carnitine or alkanoylated L-carnitine can be any suitable salt known by the skilled in the art.
Examples of said salts include but are not limited to: mucate salt, tartrate salt, fumarate salt, glycine salt.
Preferably, said at least one fat burning ingredient is L-carnitine.
In a preferred embodiment, said composition (B) comprises, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (B): - from 45.00 to 55.00 wt.% of green tea extract and/or green coffee bean extract;
- from 20.00 to 25.00 wt. % of Hibiscus extract;
- from 0.25 to 4.00 wt. % of guarana extract; and
- from 20.00 to 28.00 wt. % of L-carnitine.
Preferably, said composition (B) has an energy content of at most 20 kJ, more preferably at most 15 kJ, even more preferably at most 11 kJ.
Preferably, said composition (B) comprises, relative to the total dry weight of said composition (B), at most 0.50 wt.%, more preferably at most 0.25 wt.%, even more preferably at most 0.10 wt.% of carbohydrate such as sugars. In a most preferred embodiment, said composition (B) is free of carbohydrates.
Preferably, said composition (B) comprises, relative to the total dry weight of said composition (B), at most 0.50 wt.%, more preferably at most 0.25 wt.%, even more preferably at most 0.10 wt.% of proteins.
In a most preferred embodiment, said composition (B) is free of proteins.
Preferably, said composition (B) comprises, relative to the total dry weight of said composition (B), at most 0.50 wt.%, more preferably at most 0.25 wt.%, even more preferably at most 0.10 wt.% of fat.
In a most preferred embodiment, said composition (B) is free of fat.
If desired, said composition (B) may comprise additional ingredients such as acidifiers, high intensity sweeteners, flavors and vitamins and mixtures thereof.
Examples of suitable acidifiers include but are not limited to citric acid, phosphoric acid, sorbic acid and mixtures thereof.
High intensity sweeteners are defined as synthetic or natural substances which have no or almost no calories and a sweetness potency several times higher than sugar. Examples of suitable high intensity sweeteners include but are not limited to sucralose, acesulfame K, stevia glycoside, alitame, aspartame, cyclamate, neohesperidin dihydrochalcone, neotame, saccharin and mixtures thereof. Examples of vitamins include but are not limited to: vitamin C, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, vitamin B3 and mixtures thereof.
Thus, for example the composition (B) according to the present invention may comprise vitamin C, nicotinamide, calcium-D-pantothenate, cyanocobalamine, pyridoxine hydrochloride.
Said composition (B) may be liquid or solid.
Thus for example, said composition (B) may be a slimming beverage composition. The composition (B) may thus additionally comprise water.
Preferably, said composition (B) comprises, relative to the total weight of said composition (B), at least 90.00 wt.%, more preferably at least 95.00 wt.%, even more preferably at least 98.00 wt.% of water.
Preferably, said composition (B) comprises, relative to the total weight of said composition (B), at most 99.99 wt.%, more preferably at most 99.95 wt.% of water.
In a preferred embodiment, said composition (B) comprises, relative to the total weight of said composition (B), at least 90.00 wt.% and at most 99.99 wt.%, more preferably at least 95.00 wt.% and at most 99.99 wt.%, even more preferably at least 98.00 wt.% and at most 99.95 wt.% of water.
In an alternative embodiment, said composition (B) is a solid composition, preferably said composition (B) is a powdered composition.
In another aspect, the present invention concerns a slimming cosmetic composition [composition (Be), herein after] comprising, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (Be):
- from 30.00 to 70.00 percent by weight [wt. %, herein after] of green tea extract and/or green coffee bean extract;
- from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of Hibiscus extract;
- from 0.10 to 10.00 wt. % of guarana extract; and
- from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of at least one fat burning ingredient chosen among L-carnitine, alkanoylated L-carnitine, or salts thereof. All the definitions, preferences and preferred embodiments of the composition (B) according to the invention also apply mutatis mutandis to the composition (Be).
The composition (Be) is a slimming composition which is suitable for use in non-therapeutic cosmetic methods for improving the aesthetic appearance of a person. Particularly, the composition (Be) is a slimming composition which is suitable for use in non-therapeutic cosmetic methods of slimming care.
The inventors have now surprisingly found that, as a consequence of a synergy between the constituting ingredients as comprised within the composition (Be), as detailed above, the improved slimming effect of the composition (Be) is more important than the sum of the slimming effects caused by each of the ingredients of said composition (Be). This result is all the more surprising given the small amount of guarana extract comprised in the composition (Be).
In another aspect, the present invention also concerns a non- therapeutic cosmetic method for improving the aesthetic appearance of a person comprising the administration, preferably the oral administration, to said person of the composition (Be). In particular, the present invention also concerns a non-therapeutic cosmetic method of slimming care comprising the administration, preferably the oral administration, of the composition (Be).
In another aspect, the present invention concerns a slimming pharmaceutical composition for use in the therapeutic treatment of obesity and obesity-related disorders [composition (BT), herein after], said composition (BT) comprising, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (BT):
- from 30.00 to 70.00 percent by weight [wt. %, herein after] of green tea extract and/or green coffee bean extract;
- from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of Hibiscus extract;
- from 0.10 to 10.00 wt. % of guarana extract; and - from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of at least one fat burning ingredient chosen among L-carnitine, alkanoylated L-carnitine, or salts thereof.
All the definitions, preferences and preferred embodiments of the composition (B) according to the invention also apply mutatis mutandis to the composition (BT).
Non-limiting examples of obesity-related disorders notably include: dyslipidemia, hypertriglyceridemia, hypertension, diabetes, Syndrome X, atherosclerotic disease, cardiovascular disease, cerebrovascular disease, peripheral vessel disease, cholesterol gallstones, cancer, menstrual abnormalities, infertility, polycystic ovaries, osteoarthritis, and sleep apnea.
The composition (BT), as detailed above, is generally administered to a subject in therapeutically effective amounts. In particular, the composition (BT) is orally administered to a subject in therapeutically effective amounts.
If desired, the method for producing said composition (B) may comprise the following step:
(i) contacting from 30.00 to 70.00 wt. % of green tea extract and/or green coffee bean extract; from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of Hibiscus extract; from 0.10 to 10.00 wt. % of guarana extract; and from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of at least one fat burning ingredient chosen among L-carnitine, alkanoylated L-carnitine, or salts thereof, relative to the total dry weight of said composition (B), thereby forming a first mixture. Preferably, said method further comprises the following step:
(ii) contacting the first mixture obtained by said contacting step (i) with water. More preferably, said contacting step (ii) may comprise at least partial dissolution of said green tea extract and/or green coffee bean extract and said Hibiscus extract and said guarana extract and said at least one fat burning ingredient in water.
Alternatively, said method for producing said composition (B) may comprise adding in water: from 30.00 to 70.00 wt. % of green tea extract and/or green coffee bean extract; from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of Hibiscus extract; from 0.10 to 10.00 wt. % of guarana extract; and from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of at least one fat burning ingredient chosen among L-carnitine, alkanoylated L-carnitine, or salts thereof, relative to the total dry weight of said composition (B).
All the definitions, preferences and preferred embodiments of the composition (B) according to the invention also apply to the method for producing said composition (B).
In another aspect, the present invention concerns a method for producing the composition (Be), as detailed above.
All the definitions, preferences and preferred embodiments of the method for producing the composition (B) according to the invention also apply mutatis mutandis to the method for producing composition (Be).
In another aspect, the present invention concerns a method for producing the composition (BT), as detailed above.
All the definitions, preferences and preferred embodiments of the method for producing the composition (B) according to the invention also apply mutatis mutandis to the method for producing composition (BT).
Example 1 A composition (B) was prepared by mixing different ingredients shown in table 1 together. The content of the composition (B) is shown in table 1 .

The obtained composition (B) was dissolved in water. 1 g of composition (B) was dissolved in 250 ml_ of water.

The obtained slimming beverage was consumed by several people. It was observed that there is a synergy between the guarana extract and the other ingredients of the composition (B). As a result, the improved slimming effect of composition (B) is more important than the sum of the slimming effects caused by each of the ingredients of the composition (B).

Claims

Claims
1. A slimming cosmetic composition [composition (Be), herein after] comprising, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (Be):
- from 30.00 to 70.00 percent by weight [wt. %, herein after] of green tea extract and/or green coffee bean extract;
- from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of Hibiscus extract;
- from 0.10 to 10.00 wt. % of guarana extract; and
- from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of at least one fat burning ingredient chosen among L-carnitine, alkanoylated L-carnitine, or salts thereof.
2. A slimming pharmaceutical composition for use in the therapeutic treatment of obesity and obesity-related disorders [composition (BT), herein after], said composition (BT) comprising, relative to the total dry weight of the composition (BT): - from 30.00 to 70.00 percent by weight [wt. %, herein after] of green tea extract and/or green coffee bean extract;
- from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of Hibiscus extract;
- from 0.10 to 10.00 wt. % of guarana extract; and
- from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of at least one fat burning ingredient chosen among L-carnitine, alkanoylated L-carnitine, or salts thereof.

The composition according to claim 2, wherein the obesity- related disorders are selected from the group consisting of dyslipidemia, hypertriglyceridemia, hypertension, diabetes, Syndrome X, atherosclerotic disease, cardiovascular disease, cerebrovascular disease, peripheral vessel disease, cholesterol gallstones, cancer, menstrual abnormalities, infertility, polycystic ovaries, osteoarthritis, and sleep apnea.

The composition according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein said composition comprises, relative to the total dry weight of the composition, at least 35.00 wt.%, more preferably at least 40.00 wt.%, even more preferably at least 45.00 wt.% of green tea extract and/or green coffee bean extract.
5. The composition according to any one of claims 1 to 4, wherein said composition comprises, relative to the total dry weight of the composition, at most 65.00 wt.%, more preferably at most 60.00 wt.%, even more preferably at most 55.00 wt.% of green tea extract and/or green coffee bean extract.
6. The composition according to any one of claims 1 to 5, wherein said composition comprises, relative to the total dry weight of the composition, at least 15.00 wt.%, more preferably at least 17.00 wt.%, even more preferably at least 20.00 wt.% of Hibiscus extract.
7. The composition according to any one of claims 1 to 6, wherein said composition comprises, relative to the total dry weight of the composition, at most 35.00 wt.%, more preferably at most 30.00 wt.%, even more preferably at most 25.00 wt.% of Hibiscus extract.
8. The composition according to any one of claims 1 to 7, wherein said composition comprises, relative to the total dry weight of the composition, at least 0.50 wt.%, more preferably at least 1 .00 wt.%, even more preferably at least 1 .50 wt.% of guarana extract.
9. The composition according to any one of claims 1 to 8, wherein said composition comprises, relative to the total dry weight of the composition, at most 7.00 wt.%, more preferably at most 5.00 wt.%, even more preferably at most 4.00 wt.% of guarana extract.
10. The composition according to any one of claims 1 to 9, wherein said composition comprises, relative to the total dry weight of the composition, at least 15.00 wt.%, more preferably at least 17.00 wt.%, even more preferably at least 20.00 wt.% of said at least one fat burning ingredient.
11. The composition according to any one of claims 1 to 10, wherein said composition comprises, relative to the total dry weight of the composition, at most 35.00 wt.%, more preferably at most 30.00 wt.%, even more preferably at most 28.00 wt.% of said at least one fat burning ingredient.
12. The composition according to any one of claims 1 to 11 , wherein said composition comprises, relative to the total weight of said composition, at least 90.00 wt.%, more preferably at least 95.00 wt.%, even more preferably at least 98.00 wt.% of water.
13. The composition according to any one of claims 1 to 12, wherein said composition comprises, relative to the total weight of said composition, at most 99.99 wt.%, more preferably at most 99.95 wt.% of water.
14. The composition according to any one of claims 1 to 13, wherein said composition has an energy content of at most 20 kJ, more preferably at most 15 kJ, even more preferably at most 11 kJ.
15. The composition according to any one of claims 1 to 14, wherein said composition comprises, relative to the total dry weight of said composition, at most 0.50 wt.%, more preferably at most 0.25 wt.%, even more preferably at most 0.10 wt.% of carbohydrate such as sugars.
16. The composition according to any one of claims 1 to 15, wherein said composition comprises, relative to the total dry weight of said composition, at most 0.50 wt.%, more preferably at most 0.25 wt.%, even more preferably at most 0.10 wt.% of proteins.
17. The composition according to any one of claims 1 to 16, wherein said composition comprises, relative to the total dry weight of said composition, at most 0.50 wt.%, more preferably at most 0.25 wt.%, even more preferably at most 0.10 wt.% of fat.
18. A method for producing the composition according to any one of claims 1 to 17, wherein the method comprises the following step:
(i) contacting from 30.00 to 70.00 wt. % of green tea extract and/or green coffee bean extract; from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of Hibiscus extract; from 0.10 to 10.00 wt. % of guarana extract; and from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of at least one fat burning ingredient chosen among L-carnitine, alkanoylated L-carnitine, or salts thereof, relative to the total dry weight of said composition, thereby forming a first mixture.
19. The method according to claim 18, wherein the method further comprises the following step:
(ii) contacting the first mixture with water.

A method for producing the composition according to any one of claims 1 to 17, wherein the method comprises the addition in water: from 30.00 to 70.00 wt. % of green tea extract and/or green coffee bean extract; from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of Hibiscus extract; from 0.10 to 10.00 wt. % of guarana extract; and from 10.00 to 40.00 wt. % of at least one fat burning ingredient chosen among L-carnitine, alkanoylated L- carnitine, or salts thereof, relative to the total dry weight of said composition.
21 . A non-therapeutic cosmetic method for improving the aesthetic appearance of a person comprising the administration, preferably the oral administration, to said person of the composition (Be) according to any one of claims 1 and 4 to 17.
22. A non-therapeutic cosmetic method of slimming care comprising the administration, preferably the oral administration, of the composition (Be) according to any one of claims 1 and 4 to 17.
