Abstract
Description
図1は、第一実施形態に係る消火性部材の模式断面図である。消火性部材10は、凹凸形状の被処理面1aを有する被着体1と、被処理面1a上に設けられた消火剤含有層2とを備える。
被着体1の材質は特に制限されず、例えば建装材、自動車部材、航空機部材、エレクトロニクス部材等に用いられる被着体を用いることができる。このような被着体1としては、樹脂基材や、金属、不燃紙やガラスクロス等であってもよい。
消火剤含有層2は、バインダー樹脂と、燃焼によってエアロゾルを発生する消火剤成分とを含む。消火剤成分は、例えば、無機酸化剤と、ラジカル発生剤とを少なくとも含む。ラジカル発生剤は、燃焼ラジカルを安定化して燃焼の連鎖反応を抑制する作用(負触媒作用)を有する。
消火剤成分は、上述のとおり燃焼によってエアロゾルを発生する。消火剤成分は、例えば、無機酸化剤と、ラジカル発生剤とを少なくとも含む。以下、これらの成分について説明する。
バインダー樹脂としては、熱可塑性樹脂及び熱硬化性樹脂を使用できる。熱可塑性樹脂としては、ポリプロピレン系樹脂、ポリエチレン系樹脂、ポリ(1-)ブテン系樹脂、ポリペンテン系樹脂等のポリオレフィン系樹脂、ポリスチレン系樹脂、アクリロニトリル-ブタジエン-スチレン系樹脂、メチルメタクリレート-ブタジエン-スチレン系樹脂、エチレン-酢酸ビニル樹脂、エチレン-プロピレン樹脂、ポリカーボネート系樹脂、ポリフェニレンエーテル系樹脂、アクリル系樹脂、ポリアミド系樹脂、ポリ塩化ビニル系樹脂等が挙げられる。熱硬化性樹脂としては、天然ゴム(NR)、イソプレンゴム(IR)、ブタジエンコム(BR)、1,2-ポリブタジエンゴム(1,2-BR)、スチレン-ブタジエンゴム(SBR)、クロロプレンゴム(CR)、ニトリルゴム(NBR)、ブチルゴム(IIR)、エチレン-プロピレンゴム(EPR、EPDM)、クロロスルホン化ポリエチレン(CSM)、アクリルゴム(ACM、ANM)、エピクロルヒドリンゴム(CO、ECO)、多加硫ゴム(T)、シリコーンゴム(Q)、フッ素ゴム(FKM、FZ)、ウレタンゴム(U)等のゴム類、ポリウレタン樹脂、ポリイソシアネート樹脂、ポリイソシアヌレート樹脂、フェノール樹脂、エポキシ樹脂等が挙げられる。バインダー樹脂には、硬化剤成分が含まれていてよい。
消火剤含有層2には、上述した以外にその他の成分が配合されてもよい。その他の成分としては、水等の分散剤、溶剤、着色剤、酸化防止剤、難燃剤、無機充填材及び粘着剤が挙げられる。これらの成分は消火剤含有層2の組成及びバインダー樹脂の種類によって適宜選択すればよい。消火剤含有層2におけるその他の成分の含有率(消火剤含有層2の質量基準)は、例えば10質量%以下である。
消火性部材10の製造方法は、凹凸形状の被処理面1aを有する被着体1を準備する工程と、被処理面1a上に、バインダー樹脂と、燃焼によってエアロゾルを発生する消火剤成分とを含む消火剤含有層2を、ウェットコーティング法により形成する方法を備える。
保護層3A,3Bの材質は特に制限されず、例えば建装材、自動車部材、航空機部材、エレクトロニクス部材等に用いられる保護層を用いることができる。消火剤含有層の表面上に保護層を設けることで、消火性部材の輸送時、消火性部材の加工時、消火性部材を用いた製品の長期保存時に、消火剤含有層が潮解してアルカリ水によって周辺金属が腐食することを抑えることができる。また、消火速度を維持することができる。
被着体としてPC-FR(40)(出光興産社製、AK3020、厚み100μm)を準備した。この被着体に対し、凹凸形状を設けた。凹凸形状の詳細は、表1~表5に示す。
(被着体と消火剤含有層間の浮き)
被着体と消火剤含有層間の浮きを目視により観察した。表1~表5では、浮きが認められなかったものを「無し」、浮きが認められたものを「有り」とした。
<ろうそく消火性>
実施例及び比較例の消火性部材を縦20mm×横20mmのサイズにそれぞれ切断して試料を得た。ろうそくの炎に対して試料をピンセットで掴んだまま高さ20mmの位置まで近づけた。これにより、試料を燃焼させた後、消火できるか否かを観察、また消火に要する時間を測定した。
<固形燃料1g消火性>
実施例及び比較例の消火性部材を縦20mm×横20mmのサイズにそれぞれ切断して試料を得た。アルミニウム製容器の内部に設置したパンの中に固形燃料1gを置いた後、固形燃料に火をつけて火炎を生じさせた。火炎している固形燃料に対して試料をピンセットで掴んだまま高さ20mmの位置まで近づけた。これにより、試料を燃焼させた後、消火できるかどうかを観察、また消火に要する時間を測定した。
被着体としてPC-FR(40)(出光興産社製、AK3020、厚み100μm)を準備した。この被着体に対し、凹凸形状を設けた。凹凸形状の詳細は、表6~表9に示す。
保護層の塗布液1:M-100(三菱ガス化学社製)8.4質量%、C-93(東洋インキ社製)26.9質量%、メタノール20.2%、酢酸エチル44.5質量%
保護層の塗布液2:KBE-04(信越化学社製、TEOS)12.53質量%、PVA124(クラレ株式会社製、PVA)0.95質量%、KBM-9659(信越化学社製)0.50質量%、塩酸(0.1N)50.47質量%、水22.85質量%、メタノール7.95質量%、IPA4.75質量%
保護層の塗布液3:HP120(横浜ゴム社製)12.5質量%、トルエン87.5質量%
得られたサンプルに対し、以下の評価を行った。結果を表10~表13に示す。
被着体と消火剤含有層間の浮きを目視により観察した。表10~表13では、浮きが認められなかったものを「無し」、浮きが認められたものを「有り」とした。
テスター産業製、HA-301を用いて各硬度を持った鉛筆を、サンプル表面に対して角度45°、荷重750g、となるよう設置し、鉛筆の先端が塗膜上に載った後、直ちに装置を操作者から1mm/sの速度で離れるよう、距離10mm走査した。
[ろうそく消火性]
実施例及び比較例の消火性部材を縦20mm×横20mmのサイズにそれぞれ切断して試料を得た。ろうそくの炎に対して試料をピンセットで掴んだまま高さ20mmの位置まで近づけた。これにより、試料を燃焼させた後、消火できるか否かを観察、また消火に要する時間を測定した。
[固形燃料1g消火性]
実施例及び比較例の消火性部材を縦20mm×横20mmのサイズにそれぞれ切断して試料を得た。アルミニウム製容器の内部に設置したパンの中に固形燃料1gを置いた後、固形燃料に火をつけて火炎を生じさせた。火炎している固形燃料に対して試料をピンセットで掴んだまま高さ20mmの位置まで近づけた。これにより、試料を燃焼させた後、消火できるかどうかを観察、また消火に要する時間を測定した。
上記で作製したサンプルを85℃、85%RHの条件下におき、500時間後、及び1000時間後の潮解性及び消火試験を行った。潮解性の試験方法は以下のように行った。
サンプル表面に、アサダ製pH試験紙を接触させ、pHを測定した。潮解していれば消火剤が水溶液となり、pH9以上のアルカリ性を示す。
Claims (11)
- 被処理面を有する被着体を準備する工程と、
前記被処理面上に消火剤含有層をウェットコーティング法により形成し、前記被着体と、前記被処理面上に設けられた前記消火剤含有層とを備える消火性部材を得る工程と、
を含み、
前記消火剤含有層が、バインダー樹脂と、燃焼によってエアロゾルを発生する消火剤成分とを含む、消火性部材の製造方法。 - 被処理面を有する被着体を準備する工程と、
前記被処理面上に消火剤含有層を形成する工程と、
前記消火剤含有層上に保護層を形成し、前記被着体と、前記被処理面上に設けられた消火剤含有層と、前記消火剤含有層上に設けられた保護層とを備える消火性部材を得る工程と、
を含み、
前記消火剤含有層が、バインダー樹脂と、燃焼によってエアロゾルを発生する消火剤成分とを含み、
前記消火剤含有層及び前記保護層の少なくとも一方をウェットコーティング法により形成する、消火性部材の製造方法。 - 前記被処理面が凹凸形状を有する、請求項1又は2に記載の製造方法。
- 前記ウェットコーティング法がスプレーコーティング法及びディップコーティング法の一方である、請求項1~3のいずれか一項に記載の製造方法。
- 被処理面を有する被着体と、
前記被処理面上に設けられた消火剤含有層と、
を備え、
前記消火剤含有層が、バインダー樹脂と、燃焼によってエアロゾルを発生する消火剤成分とを含む、消火性部材。 - 前記被処理面が凹凸形状を有する、請求項5に記載の消火性部材。
- 前記消火剤含有層の表面上に設けられた保護層を更に備える、請求項5又は6に記載の消火性部材。
- 前記保護層の材質が、ポリオレフィン、ポリエステル、フッ素樹脂、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリビニルアルコール、アクリル樹脂、エポキシ樹脂、ポリアミド、ポリイミド、金属、酸化物、窒化物及び酸窒化物からなる群より選択される少なくとも一種である、請求項7に記載の消火性部材。
- 前記保護層の水蒸気透過度が2×102g/m2/day以下である、請求項7又は8に記載の消火性部材。
- 前記保護層の鉛筆硬度が、B以上である、請求項7~9のいずれか一項に記載の消火性部材。
- 前記被着体が、射出成形体及びプレス成形体の一方である、請求項5~10のいずれか一項に記載の消火性部材。
