- the cap 1 is manufactured through these steps.
- the sealing member is formed by injection molding a resin material.
- the manufactured caps 1 are collected in the collection unit. After a certain number of caps 1 have been collected, they are transported to the next process, the inspection/packaging process, where quality inspection and packing are performed.
- the mouth of the can 100 is covered with the cap 1 so that the curl portion, which is the tip of the mouth of the can 100, and the sealing member 12 are in contact with each other.
- a load is applied to the top plate portion 21 of the cap body 11, and the skirt portion 22 is roll-on-formed while drawing the corner portion 23 downward, that is, toward the can container 100 side.
- the corner portion 23 is drawn into a predetermined shape, and the female screw portion 34 is formed in the skirt portion 22 of the cap 1, so that the cap 1 is wound around the mouth portion of the can container 100.
- a capping method is performed in a state where the can container 100 is filled with the beverage. Further, for example, the can container 100 capped with the cap 1 is retorted according to the contents.
- the cap 1 configured in this way has the processed portion 33 at least part of the slit portion 32 in the circumferential direction and at least on the top plate portion 21 side of the slit portion 32 . Therefore, even if the wall surface of the upper portion of the slit portion 32 is reduced in diameter by drawing the corner portion 23 of the cap body 11 when the cap 1 is capped on the can container 100, the upper portion of the slit portion 32 is prevented from being distorted. can be suppressed.
- the cap 1 is provided with the processed portions 33 at two locations, one on either end or both ends of the slit portion 32, so that the slit portion 32 is formed with a member that has contracted outwardly in the circumferential direction from the slit portion 32 by draw forming.
- the cap 1 can prevent distortion above the slit portion 32 .
- the processed portion 33 of the slit portion 32 is reinforced to make it difficult to deform, and the wall surfaces of the peripheral edge portions at both ends of the slit portion 32 are not loose. can be relaxed, and tension can be given between the two processed portions 33 .
- the processed portion 33 is formed as a concave portion or a convex portion, and the length in the axial direction of the cap 1 is longer than the length in the circumferential direction of the cap 1, so that the metal material outside the slit portion 32 in the circumferential direction can be suppressed from flowing to the upper portion of the slit portion 32 during draw forming, so that the upper portion of the slit portion 32 can be suppressed from being distorted.
- the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments.
- the numbers of the knurled portions 31 and the number of the slits 32 can be set as appropriate.
- the processed portion 33 is at least a part of the slit portion 32 in the circumferential direction, and at least on the side of the top plate portion 21 of the slit portion 32. 32 and formed at two locations on the side of the top plate portion 21 has been described, but the present invention is not limited to this. For example, they may be provided at three locations, ie, both ends and the center of the slit portion 32, may be provided at one location at the center, or may be provided at four or more locations. Further, the processed portion 33 may be provided on the opening side of the skirt portion 22 in addition to the top plate portion 21 side of the slit portion 32 . However, it is preferable that the processed portions 33 are provided at both ends of the slit portion 32 or at two locations on both end sides.
- the processed portion 33 whose length in the axial direction is longer than the length in the circumferential direction is, for example, linear, but may be rectangular or elliptical. Further, the processed portion 33 may have the same length in the circumferential direction and in the axial direction as long as it has a shape capable of suppressing distortion.
- the processed portion 33 is a concave portion or a convex portion, but for example, the processed portion 33 may be a slit. However, if the processed portion 33 is a slit, metal powder may be generated and the effect of reinforcing the periphery of the processed portion 33 is reduced.
- the present invention is not limited to the above-described embodiments, and can be variously modified in the implementation stage without departing from the gist of the present invention. Further, each embodiment may be implemented in combination as appropriate, in which case the combined effect can be obtained. Furthermore, various inventions are included in the above embodiments, and various inventions can be extracted by combinations selected from a plurality of disclosed constituent elements. For example, even if some constituent elements are deleted from all the constituent elements shown in the embodiments, if the problem can be solved and effects can be obtained, the configuration with the constituent elements deleted can be extracted as an invention.
