- the battery module according to an embodiment of the present invention may further include an insulating cover 200 positioned between the end plate 150 and the bus bar frame 130 .
- the insulating cover 200 includes a cover part 210 that covers the heat transfer member 180 except for a portion of the heat transfer member 180 where the heat transfer member 180 contacts the end plate 150 and the bus bar 170 .
- the insulating cover 200 may constitute the shape of the heat transfer member 180 , and may serve to maintain the shape of the heat transfer member 180 so that the heat transfer member 180 is not separated or broken after assembly of the module.
- insulation of the heat transfer member 180 may be secured through the cover part 210 .
- the end plate 150 of the battery module may contact the module frame.
- the module frame may be in contact with the bottom of the U-shaped frame 300 . Accordingly, the heat generated from the bus bar 170 may be transferred to and discharged from the bus bar 170 , the heat transfer member 180 , the end plate 150 , and the bottom of the module frame, particularly the U-shaped frame 300 .
- the second thermally conductive resin layer 320 and the cooling plate 700 as a pack component are formed under the module frame included in the battery module according to this embodiment, in particular, the U-shaped frame 300 under the bottom portion or , the cooling plate 700 integrally formed with the battery module may be formed. Accordingly, the heat transferred to the bottom of the U-shaped frame 300 may be transferred to the second thermally conductive resin layer 320 and the cooling plate 700 to be discharged. Therefore, the heat generated by the bus bar 170 can be effectively cooled and discharged through the transfer, and the stability of the battery module can be secured.
- FIG. 12 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a battery pack according to another embodiment of the present invention.
- the battery pack according to the present embodiment includes the battery module described above, a second thermally conductive resin layer 320 positioned below the bottom of the U-shaped frame 300 , and a second thermally conductive resin layer 320 . ) includes a cooling plate 700 located below.
- the heat transferred to the bottom of the bus bar 170, the heat transfer member 180, the end plate 150, and the U-shaped frame 300 is transferred to the second heat conductive resin layer 320 and the cooling plate ( 700) may be additionally transmitted. Effective cooling is possible by cooling the heat generated by the bus bar 170 through the path.
- the battery pack of the present invention may have a structure in which one or more battery modules according to the present embodiment are collected and a battery management system (BMS) that manages the temperature or voltage of the battery and a cooling device are added and packed. have.
- BMS battery management system
- the battery pack may be applied to various devices.
- a device may be applied to transportation means such as an electric bicycle, an electric vehicle, and a hybrid vehicle, but the present invention is not limited thereto and can be applied to various devices that can use a battery module, which also falls within the scope of the present invention .
