Definitions
- the present invention relates to an antiparasitic repellent composition, in particular intended for veterinary use, in particular in the field of farming on farms. More particularly, the invention relates to a composition having both antiparasitic and antimicrobial properties, as well as methods of obtaining and uses of such a composition.
- a major animal problem on farms is the presence of various parasites, in particular pathogenic parasites, which can infect animals.
- Pathogenic parasites include flatworms such as cestodes and trematodes, such as flukes (eg Fasciola hepatica), nemathelminths such as nematodes, for example strongyles, and acantocephala, or arthropods. These parasites are widely distributed in the animal kingdom. Parasitic development requires passage through different stages, egg-larvae-immature-adult, and through penetration into different host tissues leading to clinical symptoms of the parasitic disease.
- Fasciola hepatica For example, farms, particularly sheep or cattle, are exposed to contamination by the fluke (Fasciola hepatica). Animals are contaminated by ingesting immature forms of Fasciola hepatica. These immature will accumulate in the bile ducts of the liver. The migration of the parasite into the liver will cause the destruction of tissues and the appearance of scars (fibrosis, cholangitis) which are a reason for seizure at the slaughterhouse.
- Small liver fluke or dicrocoeliosis is also known as a parasite of sheep, but also affects cattle; the eggs are very resistant to climatic conditions, which means that contaminated pastures are contaminated all year round.
- the intermediaries are small gastropods and then ants.
- the clinical signs are the same as those encountered for the large liver fluke, but in an attenuated form.
- Digestive strongyles are also likely to affect grazing cattle. These are primarily Ostertagia, the most frequent and most pathogenic, but also Haemonchus, Cooperia, Nematodirus and Oesophagostomum. All these roundworms pass through the mucous membrane of the abomasum, causing lesions there, causing a drop in production, diarrhea and weight loss. Cattle become contaminated by ingesting larvae present in the grass of the meadow.
- a state of infection by parasites is simultaneous with a state of microbial infection.
- the pest repellent composition is well tolerated by the animal and is not toxic to the animal, the person administering the treatment or the environment.
- certain antiparasitic active principles such as for example macrocyclic lactones, such as ivermectin, widely used in the veterinary field, have negative effects on the environment, taking into account mainly the faecal excretion of this family of molecules and its metabolites, its high antiparasitic power and its strong persistence of activity in the organism of a treated animal. Many organisms, even microorganisms, but especially insects living in the soil, can be destroyed by these compounds for long periods. These assets are therefore likely to have a negative impact on the environment.
- macrocyclic lactones such as ivermectin

Description
Description
- au moins 0,2 % en poids de germacrène, en particulier germacrène D ;
- au moins 5 % en poids de tanins ;
- au moins 1 % en poids d’acide(s) phénolique(s), distinct(s) de l’acide caféique, en particulier choisis parmi l’acide 3-caféoylquinique, l’acide 3-p-coumaroylquinique, l’acide 4-p-coumaroylique et leurs mélanges ;
- au moins 55 % en poids d’eugénol ;
- au moins 2 % en poids d’acétate d’eugénol ;
- au moins 0,1 % en poids d’acide ascorbique ;
- au moins 0,1 % en poids de trans-anéthole ;
- un extrait de feuilles de noyer et/ou un extrait de sauge sclarée, procurant au moins 0,2 % en poids de germacrène, en particulier de germacrène D et au moins 5 % en poids de tanins ;
- un extrait d’artichaut, en particulier d’artichaut séché, procurant au moins 1 % en poids d’acide(s) phénolique(s), distinct(s) de l’acide caféique, en particulier choisis parmi l’acide 3-caffeoylquinique, l’acide 3-p-coumaroylquinique et l’acide 4-p-coumaroylique ;
- un extrait de clou de girofle, procurant au moins 55 % en poids d’eugénol ;
- un extrait de feuilles de laurier, procurant au moins 2 % en poids d’acétate d’eugénol ;
- un extrait de citron, en particulier de jus de citron séché ou citron séché, procurant au moins 0,1 % en poids d’acide ascorbique ;
- un extrait d’anis, en particulier d’anis étoilé, procurant au moins 0,1 % en poids de trans- anéthole ;
- un extrait de sauge et/ou tanaisie, procurant au moins 0,1 % en poids de thuyone ;
- au moins 0,2 % en poids, de germacrène, en particulier germacrène D ;
- au moins 5 % en poids de tanins ;
- au moins 1 % en poids d’acide(s) phénolique(s), en particulier choisi parmi l’acide 3- caféoylquinique, l’acide 3-p-coumaroylquinique, l’acide 4-p-coumaroylique et leurs mélanges ;
- au moins 55 % en poids d’eugénol ;
- au moins 2 % en poids d’acétate d’eugénol ;

- au moins 0,1 % en poids de thuyone ;
- de 0,2 à 10 % en poids, de germacrène, en particulier germacrène D ;
- de 5 à 15 % en poids de tanins ;
- de 1 à 5 % en poids d’acide(s) phénolique(s), en particulier choisis parmi l’acide 3- caffeoylquinique, l’acide 3-p-coumaroylquinique, l’acide 4-p-coumaroylique et leurs mélanges ;
- de 55 à 65 % en poids d’eugénol ;
- de 2 à 10 % en poids d’acétate d’eugénol ;
- de 0,1 à 2 % en poids d’acide ascorbique ;
- de 0,1 % à 1,3 % en poids de trans-anéthole ;
- de 0,1 à 10 % en poids de thuyone ;
RI=R2=OH, R3=R4=H (acide caféoylquinique) ; ou RI=R3=R4=H, R2=OH (acide p-coumaroylquinique).

(i) fourniture de matières végétales, en particulier comprenant des feuilles de noyer ; sauge sclarée ; artichaut ; clou de girofle ; feuilles de laurier ; citron ; anis, en particulier anis étoilé ; sauge ; tanaisie ; café, sauge officinale et/ou propolis ;
(ii) optionnellement, séchage des matières végétales ;
(iii) broyage des matières végétales, suivi éventuellement d’un tamisage, de sorte à obtenir une poudre, de préférence de granulométrie moyenne comprise entre 0,01 et 2 mm, en particulier entre 0,05 et 1 mm, notamment entre 0,08 et 0,5 mm et plus particulièrement entre 0,1 et 0,3 mm ;
- fourniture d’un substrat inerte poreux, de préférence constitué d’une matière végétale et/ou minérale ; de préférence d’une matière végétale, par exemple sous forme de poudre ;
- récupération de matière végétale inerte résiduelle issue de l’étape (ii) de macération, par exemple par lavage des restes dans la ou les cuves de macération, et éventuellement étape de chauffage ;
présentant la granulométrie indiquée précédemment ;
