Description

A PRESS LINE WITH STAINLESS-STEEL COIL FEEDING ASSEMBLY
TECHNICAL FIELD
The present invention relates to a press line for obtaining a decorative panel of an oven, and particularly to a press line with a feeding device for feeding a sheet metal cut from a stainless-steel coil.
BACKGROUND OF THE ART
A brushed stainless-steel decorative panel is mounted to the exterior of the casing during the oven production to provide an alternative oven variant with a stainless-steel look. The decorative panel is procured either as pre-cut PVC coated pieces or is cut from a stainless- steel coil. In stainless-steel coil, the brush direction is always towards the unwinding/winding direction of the coil due to production constraints. The brush direction of a designed part may change due to construction. Mold direction can also differ according to this brush direction. On the press line in the production facilities; stainless-steel sheet material is fed by roll or manually piece by piece. In cases where the material is fed with a roller, the width of the roller is chosen the same as the width required for the part to be produced, this is called the paint slitting measure. The size of the other part of the piece is adjusted by cutting with the help of shear positioned in front of the first station of the press. If the feeding will not be done with a roller; The dimensions of the raw sheet required for the part are cut beforehand, by the destacker or by an employee manually transferring the part.
KR101298010 discloses a destacker for loading press line materials is provided to automatically ascend and descend in order to maintain a prompt loading height for materials which are located corresponding to a gripping position of a transporting robot until the loaded multiple materials are burnt out. The destacker for loading press line materials includes a material load unit, a magnetic unit and a lifting unit. The material load unit is installed to be transferred from side to side in the top of a main plate. The material load unit includes a carriage car where rollers are arranged with a narrow gap so that materials are loaded and slid. The magnetic unit is installed on the rear upper surface of the main plate. The magnetic unit generates magnetic force to fix the position of the materials loaded in the material load unit. The lifting unit is installed in the lower part of the main plate. The lifting unit lifts the material load unit in order to maintain the loading height of the materials. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The object of the invention is to increase the working efficiency in a press line that provides decorative panels for the oven from a stainless-steel coil.
To achieve above objective, the invention relates to a press line comprising a stainless-steel coil with a brush pattern extending in the winding direction; a flat conveying unit on which an extension of the stainless-steel coil advancing from an unwinding section is transferred by unwinding through an inlet section; a shear provided at an outlet part of the conveying unit and cuts the stainless-steel coil to obtain a long edge of at a predetermined slitting length and a short edge of a sheet width, transversely from the short edge; a press processing the workpiece with a progressive first die and a second die to obtain a first intermediate part and a second intermediate part respectively. The line further comprises a feeding device with a rotation unit rotating the workpiece received from the outlet on a rotation axis from the long side such that directly facing an opening of the press accessing to the first die. The workpiece with the brush pattern fed from the long side to the first die is formed on the first die and then on the second die. Disposing the first and second molds on the press in such a way that the long edge is directed towards the opening is possible by feeding the long edge to the opening. Possibly, sequentially the workpiece is processed by fitting the workpiece into molds placed one after the other without any rotation in the press, and finally transform into a decorative panel suitable for use in the oven. The dies (e.g. first die, second die) arranged in the press in a compact manner by aligning the long sides facing the opening.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the feeding device is having a carrier unit which is movably adjusted to load the workpiece directly onto the first mold adjacent to the opening. The carrier unit ensures that the feeding device rotates the feeding plate and then transmits it directly from the opening to the first mold. In this way, more compact press line is installed.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the first die and the second die are adjacent to each other, with their long side parallel to the opening in a rectangular-like form. In this case, as the first and second molds form a compact structure in the press, there is room for an additional mold that can be fit into the press.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the opposite edges of the first and second molds are aligned to the slitting length and sheet width respectively. Therefore, the workpiece is precisely aligned on the first and second molds. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the press is having a movable jaw that presses from above towards a base that support the first and second molds. The movable jaw transforms the workpiece on the first mold into the first intermediate part and the first intermediate part on the second mold into the second intermediate part by pressing from above. Decorative panel is obtained by applying all pressing processes such as cutting and bending sequentially.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the rotation unit is configured to rotate the workpiece 90 degrees perpendicular to the direction of movement of the extension. A simple press line is obtained in which the press line operates straight forward between the conveying unit and the press, and only in cases where the brush pattern direction should be perpendicular, the workpiece is rotated and fed from the opening to the first mold.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the brush pattern of the first intermediate part and the second intermediate part are aligned parallel to each other in the direction of extension. Any deviation in the direction of the brush pattern is prevented by applying the pressure the intermediate parts during the pressing operation.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the first die and at least one second die are disposed on the press in a parallel transverse manner. In this case, space is saved by placing the molds on the press in parallel, not along a longer line. For example, it is possible to fit all molds on the same base in a press line with 4 operations.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the rotation unit is arranged directly adjacent to the output of the conveying unit from one end and to the opening at the other end. In this case, the workpiece coming from the outlet can be cut with shear while it is pending in the rotating unit, and the cut piece can be immediately rotated and fed to the press. A press line in completely compact structure is therefore obtained.
In order to achieve above objectives, a preferred application of the invention is a decorative panel production method for the oven with a press line according to above mentioned embodiments. The method comprising the process steps feeding of the stainless-steel coil to a flat conveying unit from the unwinding section; transmitting the extension to an outlet portion in the direction of movement of the conveying unit; cutting of the extension with the shear transversely at a slitting length outwardly extend from the outlet portion in a workpiece sheet width; turning the cut workpiece 90 degrees perpendicular to the direction of movement; feeding the rotated workpiece to the press from the long edge transversely to the opening and obtaining the pressed workpiece. With these steps, it is possible to form a processed workpiece, for example the final decorative panel, by cutting, bending, etc.
A preferred application comprises the process step of progressive pressing the workpiece by aligning with the first mold and at least one second mold respectively.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES
Figure 1 is a top view of a stainless-steel coil feeding unit supplied with a representative embodiment of a press line according to the subject matter the invention, in the coil feeding condition.
Figure 2 is a front view of the feeding unit as shown in Figure 1.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In this detailed explanation, the subject matter invention is described without any limitation and only with reference to examples to better explain the subject.
In Figure 1, a press line utilized to produce the oven decorative panel according to the subject matter invention is shown from the top. At one end of the press line, there is a stainless-steel coil (10) on which a brush pattern (11) in the form of multiple parallel lines extending in the winding direction is applied. The brush pattern (11) is covered with a protective PVC layer. The stainless-steel coil (10) is pulled from its outer end and fed to a transport unit (20) from an inlet section (23) in a way that a flat and straight unwinding section (12) is formed. The conveying unit (20) forms a straight extension (14) in a horizontal position by applying pressure to the downward-sloping opening with a bending roller (22). Under the extension (14) are arranged a plurality of narrowly spaced rotary transport rollers (24) providing support. The extension (14) slides over the transport rollers (24). The free end of the extension (14) protrudes outward from an outlet portion (25) of the transport unit (20) by a predetermined slitting length (L). In order for the extension (14) not to fall with its own weight, the outlet (25) has a support member (42) extending closely with a feeding device (40). The outlet (25) is at the same height as the support member (42). In this way, the extension (14) climbs straight onto the support element (42) without forming a slope. The support element (42) includes narrow and adjacent rotating rollers. A shear (30) extends transversely across the outlet part (25) of the transport unit (20). The shear (30) cut the extension (14) transversely by moving up to the slitting length (L) from the exit part (25) of the extension (14). In this way, a workpiece (16) extending on the support element (42) of the feeding device (40) is obtained. The feeding device (40) has a rotation unit (43) that provides rotation on a rotation axis (R) passing through its middle center. The rotation unit (43) is an upward extending arm connected at one end to a servomotor (not shown). At the lower end of the rotation unit (43) there is a carrier unit (44) containing magnetic or vacuum holders extending down from the lower corners of a table. The arms of the carrier unit (44) are in contact with the upper part of the workpiece (16) with the brush pattern (11 ) from its lower end. Thus, in a turning position, the carrier unit (44) raises the workpiece (16) and rotates it 90 degrees on the rotation axis (R). In this case, a long edge (161) of the workpiece (16) in slitting length (L) is adjacent to the mold (53) from an opening (52) part, whereas a short edge (162) with a sheet width (w) is in a vertical position. The press (50) has a rectangular-like base (56), and four dies (referred to as dies) are arranged on the base (56), including a first die (53) perpendicularly and a parallel second die (55) followed in the direction of travel. The short sides of the dies (53, 55) are located along the long side of the press (50). In contrast, the long sides of the dies (53, 55) are parallel to each other and to the short side of the press (50). The molds (53, 55) are identical to each other and are adjacent to each other with a distance between them.
Figure 2 shows the same line from the front. After the unwound workpiece (16) with the PVC coating with underneath brush pattern (11) on the stainless-steel roll (10) cut transversely with shear (30) at the outlet (25), transferred over the first mold (53) from the opening (52) by conveying in the direction of movement with the carrier unit (44) subsequent to rotation by the rotation unit (43). A movable jaw (54) in the form of an upper jaw of the press (50) facing the base (56) descends and forms the workpiece (16) by compress between a core (58) on it and the first mold (53). Then removed by moving up and a first intermediate part (17) is ejected from the first mold (53) as and disposed in the second mold (55) by alignment. The same process is repeated with the press (50), and the first intermediate part (17) is transformed into a second intermediate part (18) on the second mold (55). The short side of the first die (53) is arranged approximately equally with the sheet width (w) the workpiece (16) and the slitting length (L) with the perpendicular long side. All other molds are of equal size. The first intermediate part (17) is disposed in the second mold (55), while another workpiece (16) that has just come from the feeding device (40) is placed in the first mold (53) that is emptied. The movable jaw (54) closes and the core (58) form the sheet by pressing the corresponding dies (53, 55). With this structure, parallel molds (53, 55) press the rotated workpiece (16) sequentially, and decorative panels to be mounted on the outer part of the oven casing is obtained. Finally, formed decorative panel is released from the press (50). REFERENCE NUMBERS
