Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation d'une substance de rayonnement destinée à libérer le rayonnement d'une capsule d'imagerie intra-lumière, comprenant : le bombardement d'une substance initiale avec un flux de neutrons, des noyaux de protons, des noyaux de deutérium ou des électrons, la production de produits comprenant un ou plusieurs isotopes et/ou isomères dont certains sont radioactifs avec une demi-vie supérieure à 48 heures, la collecte d'au moins l'un des produits dudit bombardement pour servir de source de rayonnement d'une capsule d'imagerie, l'introduction de la source de rayonnement dans une cartouche configurée pour s'adapter à une capsule d'imagerie qui peut être avalée par un utilisateur.
