Definitions
- the present disclosure relates to a power conversion device, a motor drive device, and a refrigeration cycle applicable device for converting AC power into desired power.
- the power converter consists of a converter unit that rectifies the power supply voltage, which is the voltage of the AC power supply, a smoothing capacitor that smoothes the rectified voltage output by the converter unit, and an AC voltage that feeds the DC voltage output through the smoothing capacitor to the load. It is equipped with an inverter unit that converts to. That is, the power conversion device has a smoothing capacitor for smoothing the output voltage of the converter unit between the converter unit and the inverter unit.
- smoothing capacitors are life-long components.
- the capacitor current which is the current flowing through the smoothing capacitor, is one of the factors that determine the life of the smoothing capacitor. Therefore, if the capacitor current can be reduced, the smoothing capacitor can have a longer life.
- it is necessary to increase the capacitance of the smoothing capacitor. As the capacitance increases, increasing the cost of the smoothing capacitor becomes an issue.
- Patent Document 1 sets a converter circuit that converts AC power to DC power, a smoothing capacitor connected in parallel on the DC side of the converter circuit, and a capacitor current that flows through the smoothing capacitor.
- a power converter that controls the value is described.
- the capacity of the smoothing capacitor can be reduced by detecting the capacitor current flowing through the smoothing capacitor and controlling the detected capacitor current to a set value.
- the method of Patent Document 1 is a method of making the capacitor current follow the set value, that is, the command value.
- the target value is fixed at 0.
- an integral (I) controller is required to make the controller follow and converge to a fixed target value.
- the capacitor current cannot be reduced to 0 due to the load during operation or the environment during operation, the output of the I controller increases and saturates, so that the control accuracy may deteriorate.
- the timing of obtaining the detected values of the converter current and the inverter current has not been examined.
- the detection of the converter current and the detection of the inverter current are generally performed asynchronously.
- the converter current detection and the inverter current detection are performed asynchronously, even if the capacitor current is controlled to 0 by the control system, a time lag will occur in the actual operation on the circuit, so the capacitor current can be seen instantaneously. It is hard to say that can be controlled to 0. Even from this point of view, the control accuracy may deteriorate.
- the present disclosure has been made in view of the above, and an object thereof is to obtain a power conversion device capable of reducing the capacity of a smoothing capacitor while avoiding deterioration of control accuracy.

- the current control block 84 can also be configured with a PI controller.
- the d-axis voltage command value vd * and the q-axis voltage command value vq * are generated, and are converted into the three-phase voltage command values vu * , vv * , vw * by the coordinate conversion block 85 to be converted into the PWM control block. It is input to 86.
- drive signals Gup to Gwn are generated based on the capacitor voltage Vdc.
- the compensation amount Iinv_rip of the inverter current Iinv such that the inverter current Iinv and the converter current Iconv match is calculated. Then, on or off of the semiconductor switching elements Up to Wn is controlled by the PWM signal so that the desired inverter current Iinv in which the compensation amount Iinv_rip is added is realized.

- the semiconductor switching element 22c is turned on when the amplitude of the duty command D * is larger than the amplitude of the carrier, and the semiconductor switching element 22c is turned on when the amplitude of the duty command D * is smaller than the amplitude of the carrier. Turn off.
- the semiconductor switching element 22c is turned on, the converter current Iconv increases, and when the semiconductor switching element 22c is turned off, the converter current Iconv decreases. Therefore, the converter current Iconv has a waveform including ripples.

Has been done.

Means.
- the detectable motor current phase of the inverter current Iinv changes according to the driving state of the semiconductor switching elements Up to Wn. Therefore, when detecting the inverter current Iinv, it is necessary to set the timing of the current detection according to the switching state of the inverter unit 3.
- the arithmetic unit that controls the converter unit 2 and the arithmetic unit that controls the inverter unit 3 are realized by different arithmetic units.
- the arithmetic unit that controls the converter unit 2 does not know the timing for driving the semiconductor switching elements Up to Wn of the inverter unit 3.
- the control intervals between the two are significantly different. Therefore, it is difficult to match the sampling timings of both.
- the arithmetic unit that controls the converter unit 2 and the arithmetic unit that controls the inverter unit 3 are realized by one arithmetic unit instead of different arithmetic units as in this paper, the above-mentioned problem is solved. be able to. Further, when realized by one arithmetic unit, this one arithmetic unit can easily grasp the timing of driving the semiconductor switching elements Up to Wn of the inverter unit 3 when controlling the converter unit 2. As a result, the converter current Iconv and the inverter current Iconv can be acquired at appropriate timings, so that it is possible to improve the accuracy of control that reduces the capacitor current Ic.
- the compressor has been described as an example of the load, but the present invention is not limited to this.
- the control method described above can be applied to rotation control of a motor that drives a mechanism such as a compressor that generates periodic torque pulsations.

- the booster unit 22 is replaced with the booster unit 22A and the reactor 5.
- the reactor 5 is arranged between the AC power supply 100 and the rectifying unit 20.
- the converter unit 2A is a component unit having both a rectifying function and a boosting function, similar to the converter unit 2 shown in FIG.
- the booster unit 22A has four rectifying elements 20b and a semiconductor switching element 24.
- the booster unit 22A is connected in parallel with the rectifying unit 20.

- the arithmetic unit 12a in the first embodiment needs to detect the converter current Iconv and the inverter current Iconv according to the timing of conduction or non-conduction of the semiconductor switching element 24 provided in the converter unit 2A.
- the detector is placed at an appropriate position according to the application.
- the converter current Iconv and the inverter current Iconv can be acquired at appropriate timings without being limited to the position of the detector. This has the effect of suppressing the occurrence of additional costs in the circuit.
- the first physical quantity representing the operating state of the converter unit and the second physical quantity representing the operating state of the inverter unit are equal. It is provided with one arithmetic unit that is controlled so as to be.
- One arithmetic unit can grasp the timing of driving the semiconductor switching element of the inverter unit when controlling the converter unit. As a result, the detected value of the converter current and the detected value of the inverter current can be acquired at an appropriate timing, so that the capacitor current can be reduced with high accuracy.
