Abstract
Les modes de réalisation de l'invention peuvent être utilisés, entre autres, pour extraire des particules du sang. Un mode de réalisation de l'invention concerne un système pour détecter un ou plusieurs agents pathogènes transmis par le sang. Le système donné à titre d'exemple comprend : un ensemble de transfert présentant un tube et une aiguille creuse, l'aiguille creuse étant située au centre à l'intérieur du tube d'ensemble de transfert et conçue pour communiquer un matériau d'échantillon à travers celle-ci; une seringue de lyse destinée à être accouplée à l'ensemble de transfert, la seringue de lyse comprenant un ou plusieurs réactifs de lyse et un piston pouvant être activé pour recevoir le matériau d'échantillon à travers l'ensemble de transfert; et un concentrateur à grand volume (LVC) destiné à être accouplé de manière étanche à la seringue de lyse et à séparer au moins un agent pathogène à partir du matériau d'échantillon, le LVC comprenant en outre : un support de filtre, une membrane, un élément de retenue et une partie filetée.
