The present invention relates to a prefabricated extension module that can be attached to a building façade as a cantilever to extend its useful area.
Said prefabricated extension module can typically constitute an exterior space such as a balcony, terrace, garden space, or it can also constitute a closed interior space.
The proposed prefabricated extension module is foldable, forming a flat and compact element to facilitate its transport, allowing a plurality of said prefabricated extension modules to be transported in an efficient and economical way.
Estado de la técnica State of the art
The addition of a cantilevered prefabricated extension module, such as a balcony or terrace, to the facade of a building is known.
For example, prefabricated balconies are known that are provided with a floor panel and that integrate brackets that hang below said floor panel, allowing the floor panel and the brackets to be fixed to the façade of a building.
However, this solution makes it difficult to transport a plurality of prefabricated balconies, since the protruding brackets prevent a compact stacking of several floor panels. Limiting the height of the gusset plates to facilitate their transport is also problematic, because a small-sized gusset plate produces traction and compression forces on the building façade to which they are anchored that are much higher than the forces produced by larger gusset plates.
It is also known to use braces, normally metal cables, arranged diagonally to provide additional support to the floor panel integrated in the extension module, however, metal cables require precise on-site adjustment of their length, they can have some perceptible elasticity for users of the extension module, which can be unpleasant, and they require a periodic check of their tension as they tend to loosen. In addition, they condition the design of the extension module. Document JPH0649893A is known, which describes a prefabricated extension module that can be attached to a cantilevered facade of a building, which includes a floor panel that can be screwed directly to the facade and side panels hinged to the floor panel, which act as handrails. sides and that can be folded to facilitate transport, but that do not have any structural function in fixing the module to the façade. This solution only allows modules that protrude a short distance from the façade, and that apply very large forces to the anchors as a result of the bending moment produced by the cantilever and the scarce lever arm between the upper and lower screws of the anchors, complicating the installation and maintenance of the module and limiting its resistance and dimensions. In addition, this solution requires a crane to keep each module elevated while the operators drill the façade and screw the module to it, with the consequent associated risk and cost.
In addition, this document describes the inclusion of lifting points for the module in the floor panel, in the area of the hinge with the side panels, which prevents the lifting of the base panel with the side panels in an upright position.
Document US2016215491A1 describes an extension module that can be fixed to a façade through coupling configurations fixed to the façade and insertable into receiving configurations provided in the module in the form of holes, but this document only provides for the fixing of a panel from floor to façade, presenting the same structural problems discussed in relation to the preceding document.
Document JPH07127126A describes a prefabricated extension module comprising a floor panel, a roof panel joined by two side panels. The module described in this document can be fixed to a façade by means of anchors attached to the floor panel and the ceiling panel, but it is not expected to be collapsible, thus being a rigid assembly that is difficult and expensive to transport.
Documents US3849952A and GB2160851A describe folding modules, but they are not intended to be attached to a façade cantilever, so their structural behavior is completely different and they do not provide any teaching that allows improving the construction of an extension module that can be attached to a cantilever to a building facade.
Breve descripción de la invención The present invention aims to solve the above and other problems of known extension modules. Brief description of the invention
The present invention concerns a prefabricated extension module cantilevered to a building façade. The proposed prefabricated extension module comprises, in a manner known per se, a rigid floor panel integrating a structural floor frame, and including a flat upper surface, an inner edge intended to face the building façade when the module is coupled to it, two lateral edges perpendicular to the inner edge and an outer edge comprised between the lateral edges.
In the context of this document, it will be understood that the expression rigid panel refers to a panel that, except at foreseen points of articulation, cannot lose its initial shape or undergo an appreciable deformation with the naked eye under the stresses expected for its intended use.
It is also understood that the floor panel is a three-dimensional element with a width, defined by the distance between the side edges, a depth, defined by the distance between the inner and outer edge, and a thickness defined by the height of the side edges. , inside and outside.
La invención propone que el módulo de extensión prefabricado incluya, además: The invention proposes that the prefabricated extension module also include:
• dos paneles laterales rígidos cada uno integrando un marco estructural lateral, y estando dotado de un borde inferior, de un borde superior y de un borde interior previsto para quedar enfrentado a la fachada del edificio cuando el módulo está acoplado a la misma, teniendo cada uno de dichos paneles laterales su borde inferior articulado al panel de suelo alrededor de un eje paralelo a los bordes laterales del mismo mediante una articulación rotativa coincidente con o adyacente a uno de los bordes laterales, permitiendo posicionar los paneles laterales en una posición apaisada paralela a la superficie superior plana del panel de suelo y en una posición erguida perpendicular a la superficie superior plana del panel de suelo; • two rigid side panels each integrating a lateral structural frame, and being provided with a lower edge, an upper edge and an inner edge designed to face the building façade when the module is coupled to it, each having one of said side panels, its lower edge hinged to the floor panel around an axis parallel to its side edges by means of a rotary joint coincident with or adjacent to one of the side edges, allowing the side panels to be positioned in a horizontal position parallel to the flat top surface of the floor panel and in an upright position perpendicular to the flat top surface of the floor panel;
Thus, the side panels are joined and articulated by their lower edge to the side edges of the floor panel, which allows said side panels to be folded down leaving them in the horizontal position, forming a compact unit to facilitate and reduce the cost of transport.
It will be understood that the direction of the side edges is defined by their length, and therefore said articulation of the side panels is parallel to the length of the side edges.
La presente invención propone además, de un modo no conocido en el estado de la técnica, que se incluya también: • al menos un primer anclaje atornillable sobre la fachada de un edificio y dotado de unas primeras configuraciones de acople protuberantes, insertables en y complementarias a unas primeras configuraciones receptoras contenidas en el panel de suelo y accesibles a través del borde interior del mismo, integradas estructuralmente al marco estructural de suelo; The present invention also proposes, in a way not known in the state of the art, that it also includes: • at least one first screwable anchorage on the facade of a building and provided with first protruding coupling configurations, insertable in and complementary to first receiving configurations contained in the floor panel and accessible through the inner edge thereof, structurally integrated to the structural floor frame;
• al menos un segundo anclaje atornillable sobre la fachada del edificio, por encima del primer anclaje, y dotado de unas segundas configuraciones de acople protuberantes conectables directamente, y/o a través de un elemento interpuesto a los dos paneles laterales mediante unas segundas configuraciones receptoras complementarias con, e insertables a, dichas segundas configuraciones de acople, estando dichos paneles laterales en la posición erguida; y en donde • at least one second screw anchor on the building façade, above the first anchor, and provided with second protruding coupling configurations that can be connected directly, and/or through an element interposed to the two side panels by means of second complementary receiving configurations. with and insertable into said second coupling configurations, said side panels being in the upright position; and where
• each joint is structurally fixed to the structural floor frame and to the lateral structural frame and is dimensioned for the transmission of structural forces between them.
It will be understood that the structural forces are those forces that allow the weight of the module to be transmitted to the façade of the building, providing support for the module, and that allow the overloads inherent to the use of said module to be transmitted to the façade as well.
For its installation, the floor panel is fixed to said first anchor, which is at least one, previously screwed to the façade, through the insertion of the first coupling configurations provided in said first anchor in some first receiving configurations contained in the floor panel.
Preferably, the first couplings can support and transmit to the façade the bending moment generated by the weight of the extension module, allowing the extension module to be supported on the façade only by means of the first coupling.
To reduce said bending moments, the panels that make up the extension module will preferably be hollow panels, equipped with light resistant elements such as metal profiles or solid or laminated wood uprights.
Said first coupling may be sized to support the moment generated not only by the weight of the extension module, but also by the loads expected on it due to its use or its exposure to the elements, thus allowing said extension module to be supported cantilevered only by said first anchor.
Alternatively, it is also contemplated to include at least one second screw anchor on the building façade, above the first anchor, connectable directly and/or through an interposed element, to the upper edge of the two side panels, said side panels being in the upright position.
The side panels are placed in an upright position, an upper edge of said side panels is also fixed to the building façade through second anchors, which will also be screwed to the façade.
As the first anchors and the second anchors are at different heights, and as the side panels are rigid panels joined in an articulated manner to the floor panel at its lower edge, said side panels act as structural braces. This means that, after fixing the first anchor and the second anchor to the extension module, the bending stresses suffered by the first anchor are practically eliminated, replacing them with compressive stresses on the first anchors and tensile stresses on the second anchors which, Together with the shear forces that transmit the vertical load of the extension module to the building structure, they allow said prefabricated extension module to be cantilevered by adding few bending loads to said structure.
In this case, it is contemplated that the first anchor is dimensioned to support only the bending moments generated by the weight of the extension module, but not the bending moments generated by its use or exposure to the elements. This allows the strength requirements of the first anchor to be reduced. In this scenario, the first anchor will serve to support the cantilevered extension module only during the initial installation stage, before proceeding to fix the side panels to the second anchor, thus facilitating the installation tasks without requiring an over-dimensioning of the first anchor. which may involve an excessive cost overrun.
Said at least one first and second anchors will be fixed on the facade of a building by means of screws, typically using chemical plugs and preferably fixing said screws directly to structural elements of the building. In this way, the stresses produced by the extension module can be transmitted directly to the building structure.
According to a preferred embodiment, said at least one first anchor will be fixed to the edge of a floor of the building.
Said at least one second anchor will preferably be fixed to structural pillars of the building, or to the edge of an upper floor of the building.
The distance between the first anchor and the second anchor will be at least 90cm, and preferably greater than 200cm. The floor panel will be placed with its upper flat passable surface in a horizontal position and with its inner edge facing the façade, said at least one first anchor being comprised between the façade and said inner edge of the floor panel. This allows the at least one first anchor to be hidden by the floor panel. Preferably the thickness of the floor panel will be equal to or greater than the height of said at least one first anchor.
Said at least one first anchor includes protruding first anchor configurations, preferably multiple elongated profiles, projecting from the first anchor in a direction approximately parallel to, or slightly upward sloping from, the side edges of the floor panel .
It will be understood that an ascending slope is a slope according to which the end of each first anchor configuration furthest from the first anchor is at a greater height than its base, at least on an upper face of said first anchor configuration, the first being anchor fixed to the facade.
The upward slope allows the floor panel to be pushed against the facade by gravity, preventing its accidental extraction, for example, in the event of strong wind or earthquake.
The first anchoring configurations are tightly inserted into first receiving configurations complementary to the anchoring configurations, for example, elongated pockets or aligned successions of pockets, contained in the floor panel and accessible through the inner edge of the floor panel. I usually. Said elongated recesses or aligned successions of recesses will extend from the inner edge to the outer edge of the floor panel in a direction approximately parallel to, or sloping slightly upwards from, the side edges of the floor panel.
It will be understood that an upward slope is a slope according to which the end of each first receiving configuration furthest from the inner edge is at a greater height than its entry into the inner edge, at least on an upper inner face of said first receiving configuration.
This upward slope ensures that, despite fixing the floor panel to the first anchoring configurations with an upward slope, the upper flat walkable surface will remain horizontal or even with a slight downward slope towards the outer edge, to ensure proper drainage. to the outside of the floor panel. Therefore, it is contemplated that the upward slope of the first receiver configurations is equal to or greater than the upward slope of the first coupling configurations. It is also contemplated that the connection between the first coupling configurations and the first receiving configurations includes an adjustment device configured to split the first coupling configurations by compressing at least part of the floor panel containing the first receiving configurations against said at least one first anchorage and/or against the façade. This adjustment device produces an effect equivalent to a post-tensioning, allowing to increase the resistance of the anchoring of the extension module to the building façade.
The adjustment device can consist, for example, of a threaded element around the first coupling configurations resting against a supporting surface of the floor panel perpendicular to the elongated profiles constituting the first coupling configurations.
The side panels will also be anchored to the façade through at least one second anchor. Said second anchoring may simply consist of anchoring points provided in an area of the side panels adjacent to or coinciding with their upper edge and which will be screwed directly to the façade, or alternatively it may be an independent element of the side panel provided with second configurations complementary coupling to second receiving configurations contained in each side panel, in a position adjacent to its upper edge.
Said second anchor may have all the characteristics described in relation to the first anchor.
Alternatively, each side panel will not be directly fixed to the façade through the second anchor, but rather will be fixed to the second anchor through an interposed element.
Said element interposed between the second anchor and the side panels is contemplated to be a rigid roof panel, parallel to the floor panel.
Said roof panel will include an inner edge, two side edges perpendicular to the inner edge and an outer edge comprised between the side edges, each of said upper edges of the side panels being hinged to the roof panel about an axis parallel to the edges sides of the same by means of a rotary joint coincident with or adjacent to one of the lateral edges.
In other words, the floor panel, side panels and roof panel assembly form an articulated quadrilateral that can be folded flat to facilitate transport.
The roof panel may simply act as a roof for the floor panel to provide sun or weather protection, or it may also include a flat walkable top surface that can be used as an extension module of a higher floor of the building to which said extension module is fixed.
In this example, the second anchors can be attached to the ceiling panel in exactly the same way that the first anchors are attached to the floor panel. The side panels, through their joints, will transmit forces between the floor and roof panels, stiffening the assembly and increasing its resistance.
Thus, said at least one second anchor may be provided with second protruding coupling configurations, preferably elongated profiles, complementary to, and insertable in, second receiving configurations, preferably elongated housings or aligned successions of housings, contained in the panels side and accessible through the inner edge of said side panels and/or contained in the roof panel and accessible through the inner edge of said roof panel.
Alternatively, it is contemplated that the first and/or second coupling configurations have an elbowed configuration, that is, including an elbow, typically forming an L-shaped element, projecting in an upward direction. In such a case, the first and/or second receiving configurations will be vertical housings accessible at their lower end for the insertion of said elbowed configuration.
An inverse configuration is also contemplated, according to which the first and/or second receiving configurations have a bent configuration projecting in a downward direction and the first and/or second coupling configurations are vertical housings accessible at their upper end for insertion. of said bent configuration.
According to another intended embodiment, each of the two rigid side panels includes a lower half and an upper half hinged about an axis parallel to the side edges by means of an intermediate hinge, allowing the side panels to be positioned in a folded position, in which the lower and upper halves are facing and overlapping, and in an extended position in which the lower and upper halves are aligned and coplanar one next to the other. This allows the assembly to be folded even when the side panels have a height greater than half the length of the floor panel, measured between the side edges of the same.
It is also contemplated that said at least one second anchor can also be connected to the lower half of each side panel, in a position adjacent to the intermediate hinge. An outer panel may also be included having a lower edge, an upper edge, said outer panel having its lower edge hinged to the floor panel about an axis parallel to the outer edge of the floor panel by means of a rotary joint coincident with or adjacent to to the outer edge, allowing the outer panel to be positioned in a landscape position parallel to the flat top surface of the floor panel and in an upright position perpendicular to the flat top surface of the floor panel.
Said exterior panel will typically be a railing, when the extension module acts as an exterior space, for example a balcony or terrace.
It is also contemplated that the outer panel is an enclosure, for example a glazed enclosure, that completely closes an opening delimited by the floor panel, the side panels and the roof panel, converting the extension module into a closed interior space and protected from the elements.
Especially in this case, the floor, side and/or ceiling panels will be solid, that is to say without openings, although they may be hollow, and may include thermal insulation on most of their surface.
It is also proposed that the floor panel and/or the roof panel contain a roller shutter wrapped around a roller shutter drum, which will be rotatable around an axis parallel to the outer edge of the corresponding floor and/or ceiling panel and adjacent to it.
In other words, the extension module may integrate a curtain, awning or blind rolled around a roller shutter drum, said drum being able to be contained within the floor or ceiling panel, or fixed to the floor or ceiling panel from the front , below or above the outer edge, thus allowing said roller shutter to be unrolled to offer some degree of solar protection to the extension module or to a space located below it. This allows to install the extension module already integrating said solar protection.
Each side panel may include a vertical guide for guiding one end of the roller shutter, when it is in an upright position.
Preferably the side panels are triangulated openwork panels. Typically each side panel will have a rectangular frame and at least one diagonal strength element that will convert the frame into a rigid frame. Said rectangular frame and said diagonal resistant elements can be made, for example, of metal or of solid or laminated wood. Alternatively, it is proposed that each side panel be a solid panel, that is to say without openings, although it may have a hollow interior to lighten its weight.
Preferably the floor, side and/or ceiling panels include metal structural profiles at least along their perimeter. The floor panel must also include at least one enclosure that defines said upper flat surface, to make it walkable.
The floor panel may include perforations or filter slots for rainwater drainage, said perforations or slots being small enough to allow said flat upper surface to be walked on safely, typically equal to or less than 1 cm.
Said at least one first anchor and said at least one second anchor may also include, on a surface intended to be attached to the façade, a layer of insulating material to break the thermal bridge.
The floor, side and/or ceiling panels may also include a layer of insulating material to break the thermal bridge on an inner edge surface intended to be attached to the façade.
At least some of the articulated joints may include a locking device that locks them in the unfolded position for lifting the unfolded module.
The module may also include lifting points located on the side panels and/or on the roof panel, allowing the module to be lifted in the unfolded position.
The present invention also covers a method of installing a prefabricated extension module as described so far. The proposed method includes: screwing the first anchor, which is at least one, to the building façade, and screwing the second anchor, which is at least one, to the building façade above the first anchor; transport the module, in the folded position, to the building, unfold the module, placing the side panels in an upright position, hoist the unfolded module and attach the first docking configurations to the first receiving configurations, and the second docking configurations to the second receiver configurations.
This method therefore allows these first and second anchors to be pre-installed on the façade, which can be done by operators without the need for heavy machinery, since the first and second anchors are easily handled by one or two operators, and the The façade can be accessed by means of small lifting platforms, fixed or mobile scaffolding, or even by lowering the workers from the façade or installing them from the openings in the façade. Therefore, this part of the installation can be done cheaply and without causing much disruption.
When the first and second anchors are already installed, the modules, which have been prefabricated in the workshop, are brought to the installation site. Transport is carried out with the modules folded, taking up little space and therefore minimizing logistics costs.
Each module is unfolded and a crane proceeds to hoist it to the installation position and proceeds to fix the first and second coupling configurations with the first and second receiving configurations. This allows a quick installation of the modules, which minimizes the time of use of heavy machinery for lifting the modules, lowering costs.
The fixing of the first and second coupling configurations with the first and second receiving configurations will preferably be carried out by means of a displacement in a direction approximately perpendicular to the façade.
It will be understood that references to geometric position, such as parallel, perpendicular, tangent, etc. they admit deviations of up to ±5° with respect to the theoretical position defined by said nomenclature.

The attached figures show non-limiting illustrative embodiments of the present invention.
In the first embodiment, shown in Figs. 1A and 1B, the proposed extension module consists only of a floor panel 30, two side panels 40, a first coupling 10 that allows fixing the floor panel 30 to a facade of a building, and two second couplings 20 that allow fixing the two side panels 40 to the facade of the building.
The floor panel 30 is a panel with a rectangular plan that defines a flat upper surface 34 that can be walked on and that is delimited by an inner edge 31, intended to be facing and attached to the building façade through the first coupling 10, an outer edge 33 parallel to the inner edge 31, and two side edges 32 perpendicular to the inner edge 31. The floor panel 30 also has a certain thickness, corresponding to the height of each of the four edges defined above.
Each side panel 40 also has a rectangular geometry defined between an inner edge 41, intended to face and abut the building façade, a lower edge 42, parallel and adjacent to a side edge 32 of the floor panel 30, and a lower edge 32. top 43 parallel to bottom edge 42.
The lower edge 42 of each side panel 40 is hinged with respect to the floor panel 30 through a hinge 50, which allows the side panel 40 to rotate with respect to the floor panel 30 about an axis parallel to the side edge 32 of the floor panel. floor 30, and that is dimensioned for the transmission of structural forces between the side panel 40 and the floor panel 30.
Said articulation 50 may consist, for example, of plates perpendicular to said axis of rotation and protrusions of the floor panel 30, inserted at least partially inside each side panel 40, or part of the side panel 40 remaining contained between said plates, being the plates articulated to the side panel 40 by means of a concentric pin with the axis of rotation that passes through holes provided in said plates.
According to another similar embodiment, said plates are protruding from the side panel 40 and are at least partially inserted in the floor panel 30, or a part of the floor panel 30 remains between said plates, the plates being articulated to the floor panel 30 by means of a pin passing through them.
According to another embodiment, some plates protrude both from the floor panel 30 and from the side panel 40, said plates being connected and articulated to one another by means of a concentric pin with the axis of rotation that passes through them.
Other embodiments of link 50 are also contemplated.
The first anchor 10 consists, in this embodiment, of a vertical plate, elongated in the horizontal direction, intended to be with one of its main faces facing and attached to the facade of the building and fixed to it through a plurality of screws. that cross said vertical plate anchored to the building, and preferably to a structural element of the same, for example, by means of chemical plugs.
The other main face of the vertical plate, opposite to the main face facing and attached to the facade, has a plurality of first coupling configurations 11, in the form of protruding tubular profiles parallel to each other and substantially perpendicular to said main face of the vertical plate, or defining a slight upward slope. Said elongated profiles will preferably be hollow profiles welded to the vertical plate.
The floor panel 30 integrates first receiving configurations 12 which, in this embodiment, consist of a plurality of elongated holes, or aligned successions of holes, each elongated hole or each aligned succession of holes being dimensioned and located to allow the adjusted insertion of one of the constitutive elongated profiles of the first anchoring configuration 11, thus connecting the floor panel 30 to the façade, providing support to the floor panel 30. Said first receiving configurations 12 are within the thickness of the floor panel 30, and are accessible through entry holes provided on the inner edge 31 of said floor panel 30, so that, in the position fixed to the façade, the edge interior 31 of the floor panel 30 will face the vertical plate.
Preferably, the size of the vertical plate will be equal to or less than the size of the inner edge 31 of the floor panel, so that, in the position fixed to the façade, the floor panel 30 will hide the first anchor 10.
In this embodiment shown in Fig. 1A, the second anchors 20 are two independent anchors, one for each side panel 40, equal to the first anchor 10 but of shorter horizontal length.
The vertical plate of each second anchor 20 is an approximately square plate provided with a second anchor configuration 21 in the form of a single protruding elongated profile of said vertical plate, intended to be inserted in a second receiving configuration 22 contained in each side panel 40 , in a position adjacent to its upper edge 43.
The second receiving configuration 22 will be equivalent to the first receiving configuration 12, that is to say that it will be formed by an elongated hole or an aligned succession of elongated holes complementary to the elongated profile, accessible through an entry hole provided on the inner edge 41 of the side panel 40.
This arrangement allows first fixing the first anchor 10 and the second anchors 20 in the positions provided on the façade and, subsequently, transporting the extension module with the side panels 40 in a horizontal position, shown in Fig. 1 B, lifting the panels sides 40 to the upright position, shown in Fig. 1A, and proceed to thread the first and second receiving configurations 12, 22 in the first and second coupling configurations 11, 21.
Figs. 2A and 2B show a second embodiment equal to the first embodiment described above, but in which each side panel 40 is divided into a lower half 40a and an upper half 40b joined together by an interposed intermediate hinge 51, which allows the rotation of the upper half 40b with respect to the lower half 40a around an axis parallel to the lateral edge 32 of the floor panel 30, that is to say that the intermediate hinge 51 is parallel to the hinge 50 that joins the lateral panel 40 to the panel of floor 30. Said intermediate joint 51 will be dimensioned for the transmission of structural forces between the upper and lower halves 40a and 40b.
Said intermediate articulation 51 may have a constitution similar to the articulation 50 described above.
According to one embodiment, lower half 40a and upper half 40b will consist of separate vertical posts. One end of the vertical uprights constituting the lower half 40a will be inserted between the constituting uprights of the upper half 40b, which will be staggered, with all the uprights of the two halves being connected and articulated with each other by means of a pin. This embodiment allows that, when placing the side panels in the folded position, the upper half 40b and the lower half 40a are twinned one inside the other, reducing the thickness of the assembly.
In the first embodiment the height of the side panels 40 must be equal to or less than half the length of the floor panel 30 in the direction of the inner edge 31 to allow correct folding. This second embodiment, however, allows the side panels 40 to have a height that can be equal to or less than the full length of the floor panel 30.
The greater the height of the side panels 40, the greater the distance between the first anchor 10 and the second anchor 20, which translates into less stress on said anchors.
In this embodiment it is contemplated that there may be, in addition to the second anchors 20 described in the first embodiment adjacent to the upper edge 43 of each side panel 40, two other second anchors 20 identical to the previous ones, but located in a lower position. In this case the lower half 40a of each side panel 40 will have a receiving configuration 22, also accessible through the inner edge 41 of the side panel 40, in a position adjacent to the intermediate hinge 51.
Figs. 3A and 3B show a third embodiment equal to the second embodiment, but in which a roof panel 60 has been included hingedly connected, by means of an upper hinge 52, to the upper edge 43 of each side panel 40.
Said articulation 52 allows the lateral panel 40 to rotate with respect to the roof panel 60 around an axis parallel to the lateral edge 32 of the floor panel 30, that is to say that it is an articulation parallel to the other articulations 50, 51 of the lateral panel 40. The roof panel 60 may have a merely protective use against the sun or other inclement weather, or alternatively it may also be fixed to the façade through said second anchors 20, collaborating structurally in the structural support of the extension module, in which case said upper joint 52 will be dimensioned for the transmission of structural forces between the roof panel 60 and the side panel 40.
Alternatively, it is contemplated that the side panels 40 are triangulated openwork panels, ie panels with openings, but provided with diagonal posts.
Typically, each side panel 40 will consist of a structural perimeter frame, for example, formed by welded metal profiles, and at least one diagonal profile that allows said structural perimeter frame to be stiffened. In Fig. 4 different examples of embodiment of triangulated openwork side panels 40 are shown.
When the side panel 40 has an intermediate hinge 51, a diagonal may be included across the lower and upper halves 40a, 40b, or at least one diagonal may be included in each of the two halves.
In Figs. 5a and 5b show an enlarged detail of the floor panel 30 and its connection to the first anchor 10, according to a proposed embodiment.
According to this embodiment, the floor panel 30 consists of a structural frame, eg metal, solid wood or laminated. Said structural frame may also include intermediate cross members.
I. In this example illustrated in the figures, the structural frame is made up of C-shaped metal profiles, and two intermediate I-shaped crosspieces.
In this embodiment, the first coupling configuration 11 is an elongated cylindrical profile with a chamfered end to facilitate its insertion, and each first receiving configuration 12 consists of an aligned succession of holes provided through the metallic structural frame that constitutes the inner edge 31 of the floor panel 30 and through the two aforementioned crossbars.
In this example, the elongated profile has a slight upward slope, that is, the end of the elongated profile furthest from the vertical plate is higher than its base, typically with a slope of less than 10°.
In this embodiment, each of the aligned holes constituting the first receiving configuration 12 includes a rotating bushing with an eccentric hole, which allows alignment of the holes with the slope of the elongated profile.
The detail shown in Fig. 5b also shows two optional features of the proposal, which are the inclusion of an adjustment device 70, to press the floor panel 30 against the facade, preventing its accidental removal, and the inclusion of a roll-up closure. 90 wound around a roll-up enclosure drum 91 included within the floor panel 30.
In this embodiment, the adjustment device 70 consists of a nut threaded around the end of the elongated profile constituting the first coupling configuration 11. When said elongated profile is inserted into the holes constituting the first receiving configuration 12, said nut screwed around the elongated profile may rest against a provided bearing surface, typically around one of the constituting holes of the first receiving configuration 12. The tightening of the nut it will produce a traction of the elongated profile and a compression of part of the floor panel 30 against the vertical plate of the first coupling or against the facade, ensuring its firm and immovable union.
The drum 91 around which the rolling shutter 90 is wound, will be parallel to the outer edge 33 of the floor panel 30, and through its rotation it will allow the rolling shutter 90 to be unrolled or rolled. It will be understood that the different parts that constitute the invention described in one embodiment can be freely combined with the parts described in other different embodiments, even if said combination has not been explicitly described, provided that the result of said combination is within the scope of the claims and provided that there is no incompatibility in the combination .
