Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Brennstoffzellensystem (2) mit wenigstens einem Brennstoffzellenstapel (19), welcher einen Anodenraum (20) und einen Kathodenraum (21) umfasst, mit wenigstens einer Luftfördereinrichtung (3) zur Versorgung des Kathodenraums (21) mit Luft über eine Zuluftleitung (22), mit einer Abluftleitung (23) aus dem Kathodenraum (21), mit wenigstens einer Brennstoffversorgungseinrichtung (26) zur Versorgung des Anodenraums (20) mit Brennstoff, mit wenigstens einem Anodenkreislauf (28) zur Rezirkulation von unverbrauchtem Brennstoff um den Anodenraum (20), ferner mit einem Kathodenbypass (37). Das erfindungsgemäße Brennstoffzellensystem ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kathodenbypassleitung (37) vor oder im Bereich einer Ventileinrichtung (35) in der Zuluftleitung (22) aus dieser abzweigt und nach oder im Bereich einer weiteren Ventileinrichtung (36) in der Abluftleitung (23) in diese mündet, wobei in dem Kathodenbypass (37) eine von der um den Kathodenraum (21) strömenden Luft antreibbare Gasstrahlpumpe (38) angeordnet ist, welche saugseitig mit dem Anodenraum (20) und/oder dem Kathodenraum (21) schaltbar verbunden ist.
