本发明的显示面板及其控制方法以及电子装置,包括多个控制模块,所述控制模块与所述显示区域对应,所述控制模块分别与对应显示区域中的所述栅极驱动单元以及与所述栅极驱动单元对应的像素驱动模块连接;所述控制模块用于根据控制信号控制对应显示区域中的所述栅极驱动单元与对应的像素驱动模块连接或者断开,所述控制信号根据对应显示区域的设定参数生成的,所述设定参数用于表征该显示区域的显示面是否裸露在外;由于增加控制模块,因此可以在显示区域的显示面未裸露在外时,使该显示区域不工作,从而降低了显示面板的功耗。

本发明的实施方式
以下各实施例的说明是参考附加的图式,用以例示本发明可用以实施的特定实施例。本发明所提到的方向用语,例如「上」、「下」、「前」、「后」、「左」、「右」、「内」、「外」、「侧面」等,仅是参考附加图式的方向。因此,使用的方向用语是用以说明及理解本发明,而非用以限制本发明。在图中,结构相似的单元是以相同标号表示。
本申请的说明书和权利要求书及上述附图中的术语“第一”、“第二”等是用于区别不同对象,而不是用于描述特定顺序。此外,术语“包括”和“具有”以及它们任何变形,意图在于覆盖不排他的包含。
请参照图1至图4,图1为本发明一实施方式的显示面板处于平整状态时的俯视图。
如图1和图2所示,本实施例的显示面板包括:三个显示区域11至13,其中相邻两个显示区域之间设置有折叠轴20;所述折叠轴20的延伸方向与显示面板的扫描线方向平行;所述显示区域包括多行像素(图中未标出);当然可以理解的显示面板还可包括两个显示区域或者三个显示区域,显示区域和折叠轴的数量不限于此。该显示面板可为柔性显示面板。
如图3和图4所示,该显示面板还可包括驱动电路30,驱动电路30包括多个像素驱动模块31、栅极驱动模块32以及多个控制模块33。所述驱动电路30还可包括驱动芯片34。
所述像素驱动模块31包括多个像素驱动单元311,每个像素对应一像素驱动单元311;其中每行像素对应一像素驱动模块31。
结合图4,栅极驱动模块32包括多个相互级联的栅极驱动单元321;所述栅极驱动单元321与像素驱动模块31对应;其中一栅极驱动单元321对应一像素驱动模块31。所述栅极驱动单元321用于向对应的像素驱动模块31中的像素驱动单元311提供扫描信号。也即每行像素的栅极驱动单元321向对应行的所有像素驱动单元提供扫描信号。
所述控制模块33与所述显示区域对应,所述控制模块33分别与对应显示区域中的所述栅极驱动单元321以及与所述栅极驱动单元321对应的像素驱动模块31连接。所述控制模块33用于根据控制信号S2控制对应显示区域中的所述栅极驱动单元321与对应的像素驱动模块31连接或者断开,所述控制信号S2根据对应显示区域的设定参数生成的,所述设定参数用于表征该显示区域的显示面是否裸露在外。其中所述设定参数包括环境光的强度,此外还可包括弯折应力大小和应力方向等等参数。其中在一实施方式中,当显示区域处于内弯状态时,显示区域的显示面未裸露在外,当显示区域处于外弯状态时,显示区域的显示面裸露在外,当显示区域处于平整状态时,显示区域的显示面未裸露在外或者裸露在外。
在一实施方式中,结合图3和图4,为了提高控制的准确性,所述控制模块33包括多个控制单元331,所述控制单元331与对应显示区域中的所述栅极驱动单元321一一对应。所述控制单元331分别与对应的所述栅极驱动单元321以及与所述栅极驱动单元321对应的像素驱动模块31连接。
在其他实施方式中,每个显示区域中的多个栅极驱动单元321对应一控制单元331。图3以单个显示区域为例进行说明,其余显示区域的驱动电路与此类似。
在一实施方式中,为了简化电路结构,降低生产成本,该控制信号S2可由驱动芯片34提供。
在一实施方式中,如图4所示,所述控制单元331包括晶体管T,所述晶体管T的控制端接入所述控制信号S2,输入端与对应的栅极驱动单元321连接,输出端与所述栅极驱动单元321对应的像素驱动模块31。其中当所述控制信号S2为第一电平时,所述晶体管T闭合;当所述控制信号S2为第二电平时,所述晶体管T断开,所述第一电平与所述第二电平不同。比如以晶体管T为P型晶体管为例,当控制信号S2为低电平时,所述晶体管T闭合;当所述控制信号S2为高电平时,所述晶体管T断开。控制信号S2为第一电平的最长持续时间为一帧所需时间(也即遍历该显示区域的所有扫描线的时间比如为60Hz约为16.6ms),当然控制信号S2为第一电平的持续时长根据需求设置。
当所述显示区域的设定参数满足第一预设条件时,所述控制信号S2为第一电平;当所述显示区域的设定参数满足第二预设条件时,所述控制信号S2为第二电平。其中第一预设条件和第二预设条件根据经验值设定。
为了提高显示区域控制的准确性,所述设定参数优选为环境光的强度,各显示区域中可预先设置有测环境光强度的传感器,环境光的强度的具体检测方式不限。当所述显示区域的环境光的强度大于或等于预设值时,所述控制信号S2为第一电平;当所述显示区域的环境光的强度小于预设值时,所述控制信号S2为第二电平。预设值可以根据经验值设定,具体数值不限。
由于显示区域的显示面裸露在外时,显示区域的环境光的强度较大,因此此时显示区域需要工作,显示区域的显示面未裸露在外(也即非显示面裸露在外),显示区域的环境光的强度较小,因此此时显示区域不需要工作。
其中,结合图3,驱动芯片34与所述栅极驱动单元321连接,所述驱动芯片34还用于向所述栅极驱动单元321提供第一接入信号S1,第一接入信号S1可以包括时钟信号和电源信号等。此外驱动芯片34还可与像素驱动单元311连接,用于向所述像素驱动单元311提供第二接入信号S3。第二接入信号S3可包括数据信号Vdata和电源信号VDD。当然,在一实施方式中,驱动芯片34还与公共线连接(图中未标出)。
在一实施方式中,返回图3,为了避免栅极驱动模块损坏,所述驱动电路30还可包括静电保护模块(ESD)35,静电保护模块35与栅极驱动模块32连接。
可以理解的,栅极驱动模块32的数量可以为一个或两个。当栅极驱动模块32的数量为一个时,每个显示区域设置一控制模块;当栅极驱动模块32的数量为两个时,也即在显示区域的两侧均设置一栅极驱动模块32时,每个显示区域设置两个控制模块,此时每个栅极驱动模块32对应一控制模块33。
本发明还提供一种显示面板的控制方法,其包括以下步骤:
S101、当检测到所述显示区域的显示面裸露在外时,控制所述显示区域中的栅极驱动单元与对应的像素行的像素驱动模块连接;
S102、当检测到所述显示区域的显示面未裸露在外时,控制所述显示区域中的栅极驱动单元与对应的像素驱动模块断开。
结合图2至图4,比如检测到显示区域11、12的显示面未裸露在外时,控制显示区域11、12中对应的所述栅极驱动单元321与对应的像素驱动模块31断开;因此使得显示区域11、12不工作,而检测到显示区域13的显示面裸露在外时,此时显示区域13处于平整状态,控制所述显示区域13中的栅极驱动单元321与对应的像素驱动模块31连接,因此显示区域13工作,因此降低了功耗。
当然在另一实施方式中,显示区域13也可处于外弯状态,也即此时显示区域13的显示面朝下,因此控制显示区域13工作,因此降低了功耗。
在一实施方式中,可以根据所述显示区域的设定参数判断所述显示区域的显示面是否裸露在外。当然可以理解的具体的检测方式不限。
当所述显示区域的设定参数满足第一预设条件时,判定所述显示区域的显示面裸露在外;
当所述显示区域的设定参数满足第二预设条件时,判定所述显示区域的显示面未裸露在外。
例如,当检测到显示区域的设定参数满足第一预设条件时,则确定该显示区域的显示面裸露在外,从而使得该显示区域处于工作状态,此时该显示区域可以显示画面。当检测到显示区域的设定参数满足第二预设条件时,则确定该显示区域的显示面未裸露在外,使得该显示区域处于非工作状态,此时该显示区域可以不显示画面。
为了提高显示区域控制的准确性,所述设定参数优选为环境光的强度,环境光的强度的具体检测方式不限,上述方法具体包括:
当检测到所述显示区域的环境光的强度大于或等于预设值时,判定所述显示区域的显示面裸露在外;
当所述显示区域的环境光的强度小于预设值时,判定所述显示区域的显示面未裸露在外。
由于显示区域的显示面裸露在外时,显示区域的环境光的强度较大,因此此时显示区域需要工作,将该显示区域中的栅极驱动单元与对应的像素驱动模块连接;当显示区域的显示面未裸露在外时,显示区域的环境光的强度较小,此时显示区域不需要工作,将该显示区域中的栅极驱动单元与对应的像素驱动模块断开。其中预设值可以根据经验值设定,具体数值不限。
返回图2,检测到显示区域11、12的环境光的强度较小,则判断显示区域11、12的显示面朝内,因此通过上述控制方法使显示区域11、12不工作,而检测到显示区域13的环境光的强度较大,则判定显示区域13的显示面朝外,因此通过上述控制方法使显示区域13工作,因此降低了功耗。
本发明还提供一种电子装置,其包括上述任意一种显示面板。该电子装置可以为手机、平板电脑等电子产品。
本发明的显示面板及其控制方法以及电子装置,包括多个控制模块,所述控制模块与所述显示区域对应,所述控制模块分别与对应显示区域中的所述栅极驱动单元以及与所述栅极驱动单元对应的像素驱动模块连接;所述控制模块用于根据控制信号控制对应显示区域中的所述栅极驱动单元与对应的像素驱动模块连接或者断开,所述控制信号根据对应显示区域的设定参数生成的,所述设定参数用于表征该显示区域的显示面是否裸露在外;由于增加控制模块,因此可以在显示区域的显示面未裸露在外时,使该显示区域不工作,从而降低了显示面板的功耗。
综上所述,虽然本发明已以优选实施例揭露如上,但上述优选实施例并非用以限制本发明,本领域的普通技术人员,在不脱离本发明的精神和范围内,均可作各种更动与润饰,因此本发明的保护范围以权利要求界定的范围为准。

Claims (20)

  1. 一种显示面板,其包括:
    至少两个显示区域,其中相邻两个显示区域之间设置有折叠轴;所述折叠轴的延伸方向与显示面板的扫描线方向平行;所述显示区域包括多行像素;其中所述显示区域具有一显示面;
    驱动电路,包括:
    多个像素驱动模块,所述像素驱动模块包括多个像素驱动单元,每个像素对应一像素驱动单元;
    至少一栅极驱动模块,其包括多个相互级联的栅极驱动单元;所述栅极驱动单元与所述像素驱动模块对应;所述栅极驱动单元用于向对应的像素驱动模块中的像素驱动单元提供扫描信号;
    多个控制模块,所述控制模块与所述显示区域对应,所述控制模块分别与对应显示区域中的所述栅极驱动单元以及与所述栅极驱动单元对应的像素驱动模块连接;所述控制模块用于根据控制信号控制对应显示区域中的所述栅极驱动单元与对应的像素驱动模块连接或者断开,所述控制信号根据对应显示区域的设定参数生成的,所述设定参数用于表征该显示区域的显示面是否裸露在外。
  2. 根据权利要求1所述的显示面板,其中
    所述控制单元包括晶体管,所述晶体管的控制端接入所述控制信号,输入端与对应的栅极驱动单元连接,输出端与所述栅极驱动单元对应的像素驱动模块。
  3. 根据权利要求1所述的显示面板,其中
    当所述控制信号为第一电平时,所述晶体管闭合;
    当所述控制信号为第二电平时,所述晶体管断开,所述第一电平与所述第二电平不同。
  4. 根据权利要求3所述的显示面板,其中
    当所述显示区域的设定参数满足第一预设条件时,所述控制信号为第一电平;
    当所述显示区域的设定参数满足第二预设条件时,所述控制信号为第二电平。
  5. 根据权利要求4所述的显示面板,其中
    所述设定参数包括环境光的强度。
  6. 根据权利要求5所述的显示面板,其中
    当所述显示区域的环境光的强度大于或等于预设值时,所述控制信号为第一电平;
    当所述显示区域的环境光的强度小于所述预设值时,所述控制信号为第二电平。
  7. 根据权利要求1所述的显示面板,其中
    所述控制模块包括多个控制单元,所述控制单元与对应显示区域中的所述栅极驱动单元一一对应。
  8. 根据权利要求1所述的显示面板,其中所述驱动电路还包括:
    驱动芯片,与所述栅极驱动单元连接,所述驱动芯片用于向所述栅极驱动单元提供第一接入信号,所述驱动芯片还用于提供所述控制信号。
  9. 一种电子装置,其包括显示面板,其包括:
    至少两个显示区域,其中相邻两个显示区域之间设置有折叠轴;所述折叠轴的延伸方向与显示面板的扫描线方向平行;所述显示区域包括多行像素;其中所述显示区域具有一显示面;
    驱动电路,包括:
    多个像素驱动模块,所述像素驱动模块包括多个像素驱动单元,每个像素对应一像素驱动单元;
    至少一栅极驱动模块,其包括多个相互级联的栅极驱动单元;所述栅极驱动单元与所述像素驱动模块对应;所述栅极驱动单元用于向对应的像素驱动模块中的像素驱动单元提供扫描信号;
    多个控制模块,所述控制模块与所述显示区域对应,所述控制模块分别与对应显示区域中的所述栅极驱动单元以及与所述栅极驱动单元对应的像素驱动模块连接;所述控制模块用于根据控制信号控制对应显示区域中的所述栅极驱动单元与对应的像素驱动模块连接或者断开,所述控制信号根据对应显示区域的设定参数生成的,所述设定参数用于表征该显示区域的显示面是否裸露在外。
  10. 根据权利要求9所述的电子装置,其中
    所述控制单元包括晶体管,所述晶体管的控制端接入所述控制信号,输入端与对应的栅极驱动单元连接,输出端与所述栅极驱动单元对应的像素驱动模块。
  11. 根据权利要求9所述的电子装置,其中
    当所述控制信号为第一电平时,所述晶体管闭合;
    当所述控制信号为第二电平时,所述晶体管断开,所述第一电平与所述第二电平不同。
  12. 根据权利要求11所述的电子装置,其中
    当所述显示区域的设定参数满足第一预设条件时,所述控制信号为第一电平;
    当所述显示区域的设定参数满足第二预设条件时,所述控制信号为第二电平。
  13. 根据权利要求12所述的电子装置,其中
    所述设定参数包括环境光的强度。
  14. 根据权利要求13所述的电子装置,其中
    当所述显示区域的环境光的强度大于或等于预设值时,所述控制信号为第一电平;
    当所述显示区域的环境光的强度小于所述预设值时,所述控制信号为第二电平。
  15. 根据权利要求9所述的电子装置,其中
    所述控制模块包括多个控制单元,所述控制单元与对应显示区域中的所述栅极驱动单元一一对应。
  16. 根据权利要求9所述的电子装置,其中所述驱动电路还包括:
    驱动芯片,与所述栅极驱动单元连接,所述驱动芯片用于向所述栅极驱动单元提供第一接入信号,所述驱动芯片还用于提供所述控制信号。
  17. 一种显示面板的控制方法,其中所述显示面板包括至少两个显示区域,其中相邻两个显示区域之间设置有折叠轴;所述折叠轴的延伸方向与显示面板的扫描线方向平行;所述显示区域包括多行像素;其中所述显示区域具有一显示面;
    驱动电路,包括:
    多个像素驱动模块,所述像素驱动模块包括多个像素驱动单元,每个像素对应一像素驱动单元;
    至少一栅极驱动模块,其包括多个相互级联的栅极驱动单元;所述栅极驱动单元与所述像素驱动模块对应;所述栅极驱动单元用于向对应的像素驱动模块中的像素驱动单元提供扫描信号;
    所述方法包括:
    当检测到所述显示区域的显示面裸露在外时,控制所述显示区域中的栅极驱动单元与对应的像素驱动模块连接;以及
    当检测到所述显示区域的显示面未裸露在外时,控制所述显示区域中的栅极驱动单元与对应的像素驱动模块断开。
  18. 根据权利要求17所述的显示面板的控制方法,其中
    根据所述显示区域的设定参数判断所述显示区域的显示面是否裸露在外。
  19. 根据权利要求18所述的显示面板的控制方法,其中
    当所述显示区域的设定参数满足第一预设条件时,判定所述显示区域的显示面裸露在外;
    当所述显示区域的设定参数满足第二预设条件时,判定所述显示区域的显示面未裸露在外。
  20. 根据权利要求19所述的显示面板的控制方法,其中所述设定参数包括环境光的强度;
    当所述显示区域的环境光的强度大于或等于预设值时,判定所述显示区域的显示面裸露在外;
    当所述显示区域的环境光的强度小于所述预设值时,判定所述显示区域的显示面未裸露在外。
