Abstract
The invention relates to the field of sport, fitness and sports equipment. More particularly, the invention can be used for athletic training, general physical conditioning in health and fitness centres, and independent exercise in small premises and the home. The invention can be used for developing the flexibility, strength and endurance of the hip adductor muscles and the stabilizer muscles of the hip and pelvis region. An exercising apparatus for developing the flexibility, strength and endurance of the hip adductor muscles and the stabilizer muscles of the hip and pelvis region comprises a base with support posts attached thereto; a platform consisting of two halves is disposed at the bottom on tubular runners; connected to the base are posts to which are attached handrails, post reinforcers with pins for adjusting the height of the handrails, handrails for performing a front split, handrails for performing a side split, and fasteners with cells; also provided are: a stop post, to which is mounted a height-adjustable post with hooks; castors mounted in the platform; rubber cushions for softening the impact of the platform against the support post; and a limiter for limiting the range of movement of the platform during exercise.
