Abstract
El módulo de distribución inteligente, para anexar a un respirador, que comprende un depósito presurizado de aire respirable (2) y tubos de entrada (1) y salida (3), que integra un conjunto de componentes que comprende el tubo de salida (3) está equipado con uno o más sensores de caudal de flujo de aire (5), una o más válvulas manuales (6) y uno o más filtros antibacterianos (7); un sistema de control, que incluye una unidad central de interfaz humano HMI. Permite atender a más de un paciente simultáneamente utilizando el mismo dispositivo.

MÓDULO DE DISTRIBUCIÓN INTELIGENTE PARA RESPIRADORES
DESCRIPCIÓN
Sector de la técnica
La técnica que incorpora el nuevo producto se incluye en el sector sanitario. El objeto de la presente invención es un módulo de distribución inteligente anexo a un respirador, con la finalidad de ampliar la capacidad de uso de hasta tres personas por respirador.
Antecedentes de la invención
Como respirador artificial se puede definir una máquina diseñada para mover aire hacia dentro de los pulmones, con el fin de suplir el mecanismo de la respiración de un paciente que físicamente no puede inspirar o respira insuficientemente. Convencionalmente los respiradores artificiales o ventiladores médicos se utilizan para un solo paciente.
Un respirador consiste en una turbina de admisión de aire y de oxígeno, un compresor y un sistema de adecuación del aire, un depósito de gas respirable, un sistema programable de gestión del aire respirable, incluyendo un conjunto de válvulas y tubos, y un "circuito de paciente” desechable o reutilizable. El depósito de aire respirable comprimido se alimenta neumáticamente para proporcionar al paciente una mezcla de aire y oxígeno.
Actualmente no existe ningún respirador que permita atender a más de un paciente simultáneamente utilizando el mismo dispositivo. Los equipos de respiración artificial su utilizan en las unidades de cuidados intensivos de los hospitales. Debido al elevado coste y el espacio ocupado, los hospitales cuentan con pocas unidades para atender a los pacientes y consecuentemente, existe baja capacidad de atención al paciente.
Descripción de la invención
El inventor de la presente solicitud ha desarrollado un nuevo módulo de distribución inteligente, que permite utilizar un respirador para uno, dos o tres pacientes de forma simultánea. El módulo de distribución inteligente se ha diseñado para adaptarse a los respiradores actuales, utilizando la salida de aire del respirador como entrada al módulo de distribución inteligente y con hasta tres salidas de aire para, como se ha mencionado anteriormente, abastecer hasta tres pacientes simultáneamente.
El módulo de distribución inteligente de acuerdo con la presente invención se define en la reivindicación 1. Características adicionales del módulo de la presente invención se definen en las reivindicaciones dependientes.
El inventor de la presente solicitud ha diseñado un nuevo módulo de distribución inteligente que se intercala entre el respirador y el sistema de tubos del paciente, cuyas funcionalidades principales son: i) Cada uno de los pacientes del grupo que están utilizando el módulo de distribución inteligente, reciben en cada onda de inspiración, el volumen de aire y presión adecuado. ii) Cada uno de los pacientes del grupo que están utilizando el módulo de distribución inteligente reciben aire no contaminado.
Además, la presente invención está dotada de un método de control visual y gráfico de funcionamiento del módulo de distribución inteligente, incluyendo alarmas para asegurar que los valores están, en todo momento, dentro del rango ajustado previamente por el médico.
De acuerdo con lo anterior, la presente invención está dirigida para un respirador programado en modo de ventilación no invasiva (NIV) y/o en modo ventilación invasiva por entrada traqueal, y consta de las siguientes partes: i) Depósito presurizado de aire respirable. Consta de un acumulador de aire que se alimenta del respirador cuya presión se mide
constantemente por el sensor de presión integrado en el depósito. ii) Sensor de presión interna. Consta de un sensor cuya funcionalidad es medir constantemente la presión interna y comunicar al módulo de medida los parámetros. iii) Sensores de caudal de aire. Consta de un sensor de caudal de aire para cada una de las salidas que alimentan al paciente, cuya funcionalidad es medir el aire continuamente para asegurar que el punto de inspiración es el adecuado para el paciente y que está ajustado a los valores introducidos por el sanitario. iv) Sensores de presión. Consta de un sensor de presión para cada una de las salidas que alimentan al paciente, cuya funcionalidad es medir la presión individual, para obtener datos como PEEP, Presión en tiempo real (cmH20) o presión máxima. v) Válvulas manuales de regulación o de regulación eléctrica. Consta de válvulas manuales o de regularización cuya funcionalidad es regular el punto de la inspiración de cada paciente. Permite al sanitario repartir el aire entre los pacientes de forma regulada. vi) Filtros de inspiración antibacteriano. Consta de un filtro antibacteriano por paciente para asegurar que el aire que inspira el paciente está libre de bacterias y virus. vii) Humidificadores. Consta de un humidificador por paciente para regular la humedad del aire de inspiración. viii) Válvulas antirretorno. Consta de una válvula antirretorno situada en cada circuito individualizado por paciente, cuya función es asegurar que no se genera contaminación cruzada de aire. ix) Tubos prolongados ISO 22 milímetros. x) Controlador del distribuidor. Consta de una pantalla táctil HMI que permite la interacción entre el módulo de distribución y el sanitario, y de un módulo de medidas analógicas que recoge las lecturas de los sensores, las digitaliza y las envía a la pantalla táctil HMI con la finalidad de coordinar todo el módulo de distribución inteligente.
Además, durante la secuencia de respiración, el paciente realiza una salida de expiración. Ésta salida de expiración ya conocido en la técnica, consiste en un tubo
de expiración, que expulsa el aire utilizado al ambiente, utilizando un vial de condensados y un filtro de expiración bacteriana.

La FIG. 5 muestra una vista superior del módulo de distribución inteligente, de acuerdo con la tercera realización.
Realizaciones preferidas de la invención
A continuación, se describe el sistema de acuerdo con la presente invención haciendo referencia a las figuras adjuntas. Concretamente, las figuras 1 y 2 muestran una primera realización.
La presente invención tiene el cometido de presentar un módulo de distribución inteligente anexo a un respirador cuya finalidad es asistir a pacientes que requieran de respiración artificial. Unos tubos de salida (3) del módulo de distribución pueden abastecer hasta tres pacientes simultáneamente a partir de un único respirador, gracias a la gestión del aire proporcionada por la presente invención.
El módulo presenta un tubo de entrada de aire (1) que proviene de un respirador
convencional. El funcionamiento conocido en técnica del respirador puede utilizar el modo de inspiración obligada, el cual el respirador genera ondas de aire de inspiración de volumen y presión programables con una base de tiempo programable.
Un depósito presurizado de aire respirable (2) es un acumulador de aire y recibe la onda de aire causada por el respirador. La presión del depósito presurizado (2) se puede medir con un sensor de presión (10), cuyo rango de trabajo es de 0 a 7 bares, y alimenta, preferiblemente tres tubos de salida de aire (3) que dentro de cada uno de tres tubos (4) incluyen: un sensor de caudal de flujo de aire (5), una válvula manual (6), preferiblemente manual ISO 22 milímetros , un sensor de presión (13) cuyo rango de trabajo es de -250 a +250 SLPM un filtro antibacteriano (7), un humidificador (8), una válvula antirretorno y finalmente, y dependiendo del método, un conjunto no invasivo con careta o un conjunto invasivo de entrada traqueal. Además, el módulo de distribución inteligente contiene un sistema de control diseñado para incorporar regulación activa de los tres tubos de salida mediante unas válvulas accionadas eléctricamente, y ajustar automáticamente el punto de inspiración de cada paciente.
El sistema de control está compuesto por una pantalla táctil HMI (9) en la que se introducen las diferencias de punto de inspiración entre los pacientes del grupo, se monitoriza continuamente la presión y la evolución de los puntos de inspiración de los tres pacientes; un módulo de medidas convertidor analógico-digital (11) que realiza las lecturas de las mediciones, cuyas entradas son analógicas y las convierte en salidas digitales para que la pantalla táctil HMI (9) sea capaz de procesar los datos y mostrarlos en la pantalla (9).
En base a los valores que se obtienen de la monitorización, el sistema de control permite programar modos de visualización y alarmas, para indicar al sanitario si hay variación en el punto de inspiración de uno o más pacientes, fuera de los parámetros programados al inicio de la terapia.
En la figura 3 se muestra una segunda realización del módulo de distribución inteligente de acuerdo con la presente invención.
La única diferencia respecto a la realización anterior es que cada tubo de salida (2) comprende un sensor de presión (12) para el paciente, que está situada después de cada válvula (6).
El rango de presión de trabajo es preferentemente de -250 a +250 SLPM (litros estándar por minuto). Además, este sensor de presión (12) está individualizado para cada uno de los pacientes, no siendo necesario el sensor de presión común (10), mostrado en la figura 2.
Una tercera realización del módulo de distribución de acuerdo con la presente invención se muestra en las figuras 4 y 5.
Aunque la configuración es diferente de la primera realización mostrada en las figuras 1 y 2, los componentes que incluye son los mismos, utilizándose los mismos números de referencia para identificar los mismos componentes.
La presente invención está diseñada en base a los siguientes parámetros:
- Volumen de onda de aire de 2 mL a 315 mL - Frecuencia respiratoria 1/min a 150/min
Tiempo de inspiración 0,2 a 8 segundos Caudal máximo 1 L/min a 30 L/min
Claims
1. Módulo de distribución inteligente, para anexar a un respirador, que comprende un depósito presurizado de aire respirable (2) y tubos de entrada (1) y salida (3), caracterizado por que integra un conjunto de componentes que comprende:
- el tubo de salida (3) está equipado con uno o más sensores de caudal de flujo de aire (5), una o más válvulas manuales (6) y uno o más filtros antibacterianos (7);
- un sistema de control, que incluye una unidad central de interfaz humano HMI.
2. Módulo de distribución inteligente de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, caracterizado por que el sistema de control comprende una pantalla HMI (9) y un módulo de convertidor analógico-digital (11), que puede gestionar uno, dos o tres tubos de salida de aire (3) simultáneamente.
3. Módulo de distribución inteligente de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, caracterizado por que en el depósito presurizado de aire respirable (2) integra uno o más sensores de presión (10).
4. Módulo de distribución inteligente de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, caracterizado por que el uno o más sensores de caudal de flujo de aire (5) son proximales y/o bidireccionales.
5. Módulo de distribución inteligente de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, caracterizado por que la una o más válvulas manuales (6) permiten el paso del flujo de aire desde 0 % al 100 %.
6. Módulo de distribución inteligente de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1 y 5, caracterizado por que la una o más válvulas manuales (6) son válvulas eléctricas.
7. Módulo de distribución inteligente de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, caracterizado por que comprende un humidificador (8) en uno, dos o tres tubos de salida (3) del módulo de distribución inteligente, situado entre el o cada filtro antibacteriano (7) y una vía de entrada de aire al paciente.
8. Módulo de distribución inteligente de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1,
caracterizado por que el o cada tubo de salida (3) comprende un sensor de presión (12).
9. Módulo de distribución inteligente de acuerdo con la reivindicación 8, caracterizado porque el o cada sensor de presión (12) está situado después de la o cada válvula manual (6).
10. Módulo de distribución inteligente de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, caracterizado por que el o cada tubo de salida (3) comprende una o más válvulas antirretorno o unidireccionales.
