For example, the driver may see the number of cameras connected to the device at that moment, magnify the desired camera image on the screen, use it as a navigation, and view information such as the next stop on the route, time, delay, etc.
  • a touch screen with a reinforced protective glass is also present on said first LCD touch screen (101).
  • This touch screen is a capacitive touch screen (Projected Capacitive Touchscreen - PCT) suitable for use in the industrial environments.
  • a protective glass may be placed up to a certain thickness in front of the touch surface thanks to its capacitive property.
  • This protective glass may be tempered protective glasses, as well as strengthened and flexible special glasses used in mobile phones such as Gorilla Glass, Dragontrail.
  • these touch screens are not affected by the temperature changes between -20 and +70 degrees centigrade.
  • the second LCD screen (102) is a TFT color LCD of 4.3 inches and disposed on top surface of the device for informing the passengers according to the arrival angle of the passengers. This screen allows the passengers to see the balance deducting from the card and the balance remaining in the card. This screen may also display information such as a different message, image, etc. for the passengers.
  • the screen sizes is selected to be large enough so as to perform the necessary functions and may optionally be varied.
  • the contactless card reader (103) may read media such as fare cards, contactless credit cards/bank cards and may deduct fare.
  • the 1 D&2D barcode reader (104) is able to read both 1 D and 2D (QR) barcodes both on a paper and mobile media screens.
  • the industrial printer with an auto cutter (105) may provide a receipt/voucher in case of fare deductions by a credit card/bank card and may print a ticket with a barcode.
  • a red light flashing for different times, or continuously indicates that there is no fare deduction, there is no balance in the card, and the barcode, etc., shown is invalid, or a green light may indicate that the fare has been deducted from the fare card or credit card.
  • the speaker (107) provides audible information for the driver and passengers in the vehicle. The sound level of the speaker may be controlled by software. It may be increased or decreased as desired. This adjustment may be done by the center, but it may also be done by the driver using the first LCD touch screen (101) via the integrated electronic console (IEC) (100).

  • the driver may initiate a voice call, or a voice call may be made from the management office or any authorized unit to the driver via the integrated electronic console (IEC) (100).

  • the integrated electronic console (IEC) (100) has an ethernet connector which has a PoE feature and thus, provides both power requirement and data communication.
  • the integrated electronic console (IEC) (100) supports the PoE (Power Over Ethernet) infrastructure. As shown in Figure 4, it can receive the required power and data communication from the Ethernet interface (119) over a suitable PoE ethernet switch (200a) with a single ethernet cable (205) (Cat5, Cat6 etc.). Alternatively, as shown in figure 5, a standard non-PoE ethernet switch (200b) may be used.
  • At least one SSD or HDD storage unit (115) is used to store the images of the IP cameras (204).
  • a card attached to the Micro SD card connector (128) is used for backup (or recording short-term images) in NVR mode and enables the desired data to be transmitted, or to be retrieved from, the device.
  • At least one SAM (Security Access Module) connector (125) is a connector which receives a SAM performing encoding processes in order to enable security for the transactions such as card reading- writing, ticket sales, etc.
  • the SIM connector (126) is a connector which receives a SIM located to provide an audible bidirectional communication and data communication with the control center via a GSM infrastructure.
  • the USB connector (127) is disposed so as to receive a flash disc. This interface enables software installation for the device and may be used for file transfer.
  • a reset button (109) is used to completely cut off the energy of the system and reset the device when pressed for a period of time, or to switch the device to a test mode.
  • the integrated electronic console (IEC) (100) is connected to the vehicle by a single connector (111). Thus, assembly, maintenance, etc. are facilitated. Both RF and all signal pirns are on this single connector.
  • a male part of the connector is on the main body of the integrated electronic console (IEC) (100), whereas the female part thereof is on the base part (110) of the integrated electronic console (IEC) (100).
  • a special portion of spring steel (112) is mounted between the body and base (110) of the integrated electronic console (IEC) (100) so as to avoid problems when the vehicle is moving, such as vibration-induced noise, pirns being broken, etc. This part is very important for the function.
  • the consoles and the base (110) on the vehicle are combined with a single connector as in the integrated electronic console (IEC) (100)
  • materials are used between two parts so as to prevent vibration, which wear out over time and need to be changed frequently such as rubber, etc. This significantly increases the maintenance costs of the device.
  • the spring steel part (112) is a part that is cut from a material and bent at appropriate sizes and is attached during the first device assembly and does not distort its form for a long time. Thanks to this feature, it does not require maintenance and visibly reduces field maintenance costs. In addition, it also reduces the failure rate of single connectors indirectly as it retains its form for a very long time as compared to materials of rubber.
  • the integrated electronic console (IEC) (100) is designed to be shock resistant according to the IK07 standard, and all electronic, plastic, metal, glass parts and modules have been selected accordingly.
  • the integrated electronic console (IEC) (100) also meets the vibration and shock standards, and all materials and modules have been selected accordingly.
  • the plastic casing of the integrated electronics console (IEC) (100) is made of a polyamide material (PA6) which has a V0 non-flammability property and also, is not affected by sunlight due to UV feature thereof.
  • Polyamide material is a material which is widely used in such consoles, is much more durable than ABS or PC-ABS material and is suitable for outdoor conditions.
  • the integrated electronic console (IEC) (100) is very suitable for use in a vehicle due to these features.
  • the invention is used for processes such as in-vehicle management, video recording, fare deduction, ticketing, communication with a control center in public transportation vehicles like a bus, a minibus, a tram, a metrobus, a shared taxi, a ferry, a train, etc.
