Abstract

Invention relates to a display system detecting number of decreasing goods instantly in display stand comprising at least a goods hanger (1) whereon goods offered for sale are displayed, and comprises at least a sensor (2) placed on each goods hanger (1) and detecting weight of goods on goods hanger (1) and converting and transmitting the detected data into signal, transmitter (3) transmitting signal transmitted from sensor (2) via communication module, Server (5) converting signal transmitted by transmitter (3) into goods number, storing and reporting it and Electronic shelf label (4) displaying price details and/or quantity of goods on goods hanger (1) whereon goods are connected, and allowing goods price change remotely in line with command entered into server (5). The invention also comprises the related method.

Description

PRODUCT DISPLAY SYSTEM AND METHOD
TECHNICAL FIELD
Invention relates to display system and method providing display of goods sold in market, store and similar places in general.
Invention particularly relates to product display system and method capable to detect number of goods in the stand sold on basis of pieces subject to their weight thereon based on decrease in weight and to change electronic labels thereon.
STATE OF ART
Today stands are used to provide display of goods by companies in markets, stores and similar shopping centres and accessible by consumers easily.
When goods in display stands used in state of art decrease, company representatives detect them one by one in certain periods and record them. Upon placing order of decreasing goods in store or factory, good supply is provided according to work plan of warehouse or factory. The supplied goods are put into stands by company staff. However, since stands are not controlled by company representatives all the times, instant detection and supply of finishing goods can not be made.
Present related art has a system consisting of sensors detecting reduction in number of goods on shelf as consumers buy goods from shelf. Number of sold goods is detected based on decrease in weight thereof. However, said system does not comprise an electronic shelf label enabling remote change of price instantly on the good label without manual intervention when needed.
The application numbered TR2017/16028 encountered when conducting search in the field discloses a stand tracking system providing checking and tracking by field staff. In the application the goods of the companies sold and displayed at controls are controlled by means of smart devices reading of labels at stands by help of field staff. It has software processing data received from labels. However, since controls are conducted by staff in the application, in case of recklessness of staff, wrong goods label can be read, and wrong data can be processed, and wrong orders can be given.
Another application numbered CN107638017 encountered during search discloses a food stand comprising a cool storage cabin. In this application, despite an electronic system providing saving in area by adjustment of distance between storage plates based on sizes of food, it does not disclose how to detect shortage in case of consumption of goods.
In conclusion, developments have been made in goods display systems and methods and, therefore, new embodiments eliminating the above disadvantages and offering solutions to existing systems are needed.
PURPOSE OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a goods display system and method meeting the needs mentioned above, eliminating all disadvantages and providing some additional advantages.
Primary purpose of the invention is to provide instant data flow regarding reducing goods by detecting reducing number of goods based on weight decrease by means of sensor provided in each hanger of display stand.
Another purpose of the invention is to enable making instant price changes on goods by means of electronic shelf labels attached to the displayed goods.
A further purpose of the invention is to provide interactive customer experience by performing automatic reduction for goods remaining on shelf by means of algorithm to be prepared for cases wherein number, day and hour details of goods on stands are determined in advance.
The structural and characteristic features and all advantages of the invention will be understood better in the figures given below and the detailed description by reference to the figures. Therefore, the assessment should be made based on the figures and taking into account the detailed descriptions. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF FIGURES
In order to make the embodiment and additional members being subject of the present invention as well as the advantages clearer for better understanding, it should be assessed with reference to the fallowing described figures.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In this detailed description, display system and method being subject of this invention and the preferred embodiments have been disclosed solely for the purpose of better understanding of the subject and described in a manner not causing any restrictive effect.
Figure 1 is an illustrative view of the display system being subject of the invention, Accordingly; the system comprises;
• at least a goods hanger (1 ) whereon goods in sale on display stand are placed and displayed,
• at least a sensor (2) placed on each goods hanger (1) and detecting weight of goods on goods hanger (1) and converting and transmitting the detected data into signal,
• transmitter (3) transmitting signal transmitted from sensor (2) via communication module,
• server (5) converting signal transmitted by transmitter (3) into goods number, storing and reporting it and
• electronic shelf label (4) displaying price details and/or quantity of goods on goods hanger (1) whereon goods are connected and allowing goods price change remotely in line with command entered into server (5). An alternative embodiment of invention comprises a sensor (2) loadcell placed onto each goods hanger (1) of display stand and detecting weight of goods on goods hanger (1). When display stand is full, the decreasing goods is calculated and detected based on weight of decreasing goods on display system.
Display method providing instant detection of decreasing goods on display stand (A) where goods are displayed comprises process steps of
• detection of total weight of goods by sensor (2) located onto goods hanger (1) and conversion into signal and transmission the signal to transmitter (3),
• transmission of signal to served (5) by transmitter (3),
• conversion of signal transmitted to the server (5) into number information and storing therein and reporting number information of goods to user instantly by the server (5),
• remote change of price details on electronic shelf label (4) in line with command entered into the server (5) at any time desired by the user or in line with command stored in the server (5) in advance.
The data received from sensors (2) located on goods hangers (1) of display stand (A) are transmitted to transmitter (3) on the stand. When display stand (A) is full, the decreasing goods is calculated and detected based on weight of decreasing goods on display system. The signal received from transmitter (3) sensor (2) is sent to the server (5) and the server (5) convents the signal into number details of the goods. Transmission of signal from the transmitter (3) to the server (5) is made by means of a wireless communication module. The server (5) in general central stores number details and reports to the user.
In an embodiment of the invention, goods price on the electronic shelf label (4) provided in goods display system can be changed according to day or hour in advance based on number details in goods hanger (1) and/or by algorithms stored in the server (5) for preset special cases. For instance, data input for making discounts on every Wednesday can be entered into the server (5) and when the set day comes, discount price command is transmitted to electronic shelf label (4) by the server (5). Price can be updated on electronic shelf label (4) in line with the command. In another example, user is allowed to make price input at a desired time via server (5) and the price in electronic shelf label (4) can be updated in line with the command created by the server (5) for new price information.

Claims

1. A display system detecting number of decreasing goods instantly in display stand comprising at least a goods hanger (1) whereon goods offered for sale are displayed, and characterized in comprising
• at least a sensor (2) placed on each goods hanger (1) and detecting weight of goods on goods hanger (1) and converting and transmitting the detected data into signal,
• transmitter (3) transmitting signal transmitted from sensor (2) via communication module,
• server (5) converting signal transmitted by transmitter (3) into goods number, storing and reporting it and
• electronic shelf label (4) displaying price details and/or quantity of goods on goods hanger (1) whereon goods are connected and allowing goods price change remotely in line with command entered into server (5).
2. A display system according to claim 1 characterized in that said sensor (2) is weight sensor (load cell) of the goods.
3. A display method detecting number of decreasing goods instantly in display stand comprising at least a goods hanger (1) whereon goods offered for sale are displayed, and characterized in comprising process steps of
• detection of total weight of goods by sensor (2) located onto goods hanger (1) and conversion into signal and transmission the signal to transmitter (3),
• transmission of signal to served (5) by transmitter (3),
• conversion of signal transmitted to the server (5) into number information and storing therein and reporting number information of goods to user instantly by the server (5),
• remote change of price details on electronic shelf label (4) in line with command entered into the server (5) at any time desired by the user or in line with command stored in the server (5) in advance.
