Abstract
Description
Electronic information labels and electronic information label systems.
The electronic information label system used in stores can prevent the printing of paper price tags and operator errors, so that the consumer purchasing the goods can increase the confidence in the product price in the retail store.
The electronic information labeling system can control and manage the information on products in the store such as the location, price, and inventory of the goods at the central server, but can not determine whether or not the displayed products are exhausted.
Provides a method of managing electronic information labels, servers, and merchandise inventory, which enables the management of inventories of products displayed in stores using electronic information labels.
The electronic information label according to one aspect receives the out of stock signal transmission request from the remote control device and transmits the out of stock signal to the management server.
According to an aspect, the electronic information label may receive the control signal using infrared communication.
According to another aspect, the electronic information label can receive the control signal using RF communication.
According to an aspect of the present invention, the electronic information label may convert an operation mode into a wakeup mode and transmit an out of stock signal to a management server when receiving an under-stock signal transmission request from the remote controller.
A method for managing goods inventory using an electronic information label according to an aspect includes receiving an under-stock signaling request from a remote control device, switching an operation mode to a wake-up mode, and transmitting an under-stock signal to a management server.
According to an aspect, the out-of-stock signaling request may be received using infrared communication.
According to another aspect, the out of stock signaling request can be received using RF communication.
According to an aspect, the out of stock signal may include identification information of the electronic information label.
According to an aspect, the identification information may be the MAC address of the electronic information label.
The server according to one aspect receives the out of stock signal from the electronic information label and transmits the product information corresponding to the electronic information label that transmitted the out of stock signal to the portable terminal of the commodity person in charge.
According to an aspect, the out of stock signal may include identification information of an electronic information label, and the server may identify an electronic information label that transmitted the out of stock signal based on the identification information.
According to an aspect, the identification information may be the MAC address of the electronic information label.
According to an aspect, the identified merchandise information may include at least one of a merchandise name, an inventory quantity, and a display position of a merchandise corresponding to the electronic information label that transmitted the stock-out signal.
An item inventory management method using an electronic information label according to an aspect receives an out of stock signal from an electronic information label and transmits product information corresponding to an electronic information label that transmitted an out of stock signal to a portable terminal of a product manager.
The inventory status of the products displayed in the store can be easily grasped so that the prompt replenishment can be performed when the displayed products are exhausted, thereby improving the efficiency of product inventory management and improving the customer satisfaction using the stores.
