Definitions
- the present invention relates to a luminaire or an electrical unit intended for connection to a mounting rail, the mounting rail having a mounting rail profile with two side walls and at least one busbar with contactable lines arranged in the mounting rail profile
- Support rails with a support rail profile and a busbar held in the support rail profile are known from the prior art and are used, for example, to implement elongated so-called light band systems.
- a known trunking system is sold by the applicant under the name “TECTON” and is characterized by the fact that lights or other electrical loads can be flexibly positioned on the trunking over the entire length of the system. This is made possible by the fact that, due to a special mounting of the lines of the busbar, they are accessible to the consumers over essentially the entire length of the trunking system, so that the lines can be contacted not only at fixed positions, but at any point. For example, the
- WO 2001/091250 A1 such a trunking system.
- two conductor rails are arranged opposite one another on the two side walls of a U-shaped support rail profile that is open at the bottom.
- the lines of the busbars are then contacted in that the lamp or the consumer has a rotatable contacting element which is inserted into the support rail from the underside and then rotated by approximately 45 °.
- Contacts arranged contacting element are designed in such a way that they are swiveled out to the side as a result of the rotation and ultimately contact the lines of the busbars in the rotated state.
- the rotatable contacting elements described above were designed and mounted on the light or the electrical consumer in such a way that they were actuated by a user from the underside of the light, that is could be twisted.
- the luminaire or a carrier element of the luminaire or of the consumer was then attached to the support rail from the underside, the contacting element or elements then being rotated in this state in contact with the support rail.
- the contacting elements had to be accessible for actuation from the underside of the luminaire or the consumer, which was usually not a problem, since elongated fluorescent lamps were usually used as the illuminants, which were only used after the luminaire had been attached to the mounting rail could easily be used by the consumer in the sockets of the lamp
- LEDs or LED circuit boards are predominantly used as lighting means in lighting technology, even in the case of lights that are intended for use in such mounting rails. Since the subsequent arrangement of LED light sources on a luminaire does not make sense or is possible and, moreover, a uniform light output can only be achieved if the LEDs are arranged more or less continuously evenly distributed over the entire length of the light strip system, it is As a rule, it is no longer possible to configure the rotatable contacting elements explained above in such a way that they are accessible from the underside.
- a solution described, for example, in DE 10 2010 003 805 A1 therefore provides that the rotatable contacting element is designed with a lever which protrudes laterally outward through a slot in the support element of the lamp.
- FIG. 7 Such a solution, known from the prior art, is shown in FIG. 7, the elongated carrier element 110 of a so-called bar light 100 being initially recognizable here, on which a contacting element 120 is rotatably mounted.
- the carrier element 110 present in the form of a profile element must be attached from the underside to the support rail (not shown) of the trunking system and then the contacting element 120 must be rotated.
- the carrier element 110 has side walls 111 on both longitudinal sides, an elongated slot 112 being formed on one side wall 111 through which the end region of a lever 125 connected to the contacting element 120 protrudes.
- the lever 125 can be pivoted along the slot 112 between the two positions shown, with a corresponding rotation of the contacting element 120 then also taking place.
- Contacts 122 of the contacting element 120 which are located on the outer circumference of the Base body 121 are arranged, are then pivoted laterally in this case, so that they come into contact with the lines of the busbars.
- mechanical locking elements are also swiveled out in this case, which engage behind the corresponding projections of the mounting rail profile, so that in addition to the electrical contacting, a mechanical fastening of the light 100 on the mounting rail is also achieved.
- the laterally protruding lever 125 shown in FIG. 7 thus enables the contacting element 120 to be rotated, the underside of the carrier element 110 of the luminaire 100 being freely accessible in spite of everything and thus being able to be equipped with illuminants over the entire length, for example.
- the lever 125 must protrude laterally to a certain extent in order to enable comfortable actuation of the contacting element 120.
- the lateral slot 112 represents a permanent opening and thus a problem if the luminaire 100 is to be protected from the ingress of dust and / or moisture in order to meet the requirements of what is known as an IP protection class.
- the present invention is therefore based on the object of offering an alternative possibility of actuating a corresponding contact-making element in a comparable manner, although the aim is to achieve a more compact solution.
- the solution according to the invention provides for an actuating element to be provided on the carrier element of the lamp or the electrical unit, which is mounted so as to be linearly displaceable.
- This actuating element is coupled to the contacting element in such a way that the linear displacement of the actuating element can rotate the contacting element so that it can be transferred in the usual way from an open position to a contacting position or vice versa.
- the actuator is now no laterally protruding, pivotable lever, a more compact design can be achieved.
- a lamp or an electrical unit for a mounting rail is proposed, the mounting rail being a
- the lamp or the electrical unit has a contacting element which can be inserted into the mounting rail profile and has connection contacts which are provided to come into contact with lines of the busbar when the contacting element is inserted into the mounting rail profile, the contacting element being opposite to a Carrier element of the lamp or the electrical unit between an open position, in which an insertion and removal of the contacting element is made possible from the support rail profile, and a contacting position, in which the connection contacts contact lines of the busbar, is rotatably mounted.
- an actuating element is mounted linearly displaceably on the carrier element and is coupled to the contacting element in such a way that the contacting element can be transferred from the open position to the contacting position or vice versa by linear displacement of the actuating element.
- the actuating element is preferably formed by a bolt guided on the carrier element of the lamp or the electrical unit.
- the bolt can form a toothed rack, the teeth of which are coupled to a toothed wheel arranged on the contacting element.
- the carrier element here preferably has an elongated recess or a slot in which the confirmation element is mounted.
- the carrier element is elongated and the actuating element is mounted movably in the longitudinal direction of the carrier element.
- the actuating element is then arranged on a longitudinal side of the carrier element.
- the carrier element is preferably formed by a profile body. Additional projections can be provided on the contacting element, which are designed for mechanical interlocking with the support profile. As in the prior art, the rotation of the contacting element not only serves to contact the lines of the busbar, but at the same time also mechanically attaches the entire lamp or the electrical unit to the support rail.
- the carrier element of the lamp or the electrical unit and the actuating element can preferably be designed such that they interact in such a way that the actuating element or the contacting element is secured in a position corresponding to the open position and / or the contacting position of the contacting element.
- corresponding projections or the like can be provided which have the effect that the actuating element latches or is appropriately clamped in the secured position with the carrier element.
- the contacting element can have contacts on two opposite sides. This makes it possible to contact two opposite busbars within the mounting rail, so that flexible contacting of a large number of electrical lines is made possible.
- the luminaire can in particular be a so-called LED bar luminaire.
- an arrangement for emitting light which has a mounting rail that has a mounting rail profile with two side walls and at least one busbar which is arranged on one of the two inner sides of the side walls of the mounting rail profile and has electrically contactable lines, according to the invention at least one lamp or an electrical unit as explained above is present. It is preferably provided that busbars are arranged on both side walls of the mounting rail profile.
- FIG. 1 shows a sectional illustration of a light strip system with a support rail and an LED bar light arranged thereon, which is designed in accordance with the invention
- FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of the light band system from FIG. 1;
- FIG. 3 shows the contacting element arranged on the carrier element of the lamp with the actuating element designed according to the invention
- FIG. 4 shows the configuration of the base body of the contacting element
- FIG. 5 shows a view of the actuating element
- FIG. 6 shows a representation to illustrate the inventive
- FIG. 7 shows a solution known from the prior art for actuating the contacting element of a bar light.
- the trunking system 1 shown in section in FIG. 1 and generally provided with the reference numeral 1, initially corresponds essentially to the already known trunking system “TECTON” sold by the applicant with regard to the design of the support rail 10.
- TECTON sold by the applicant with regard to the design of the support rail 10.
- a special feature of this system is that the lines running along the mounting rail for powering the lights or consumers are stored in such a way that they can be contacted over the entire length of the trunking system 1, so that lights or other consumers are flexible over the entire length of the trunking system 1 can be arranged away.
- the invention is not limited to this special trunking system with the special type of cable holder, but that the inventive concept can in principle be used when a contacting element of a lamp or a consumer rotates to make contact with the cables of a trunking system of a trunking system must become.
- contacting the lines of the busbar does not necessarily have to be used to supply the unit to be connected with power.
- the connection to data lines used for communication would also be conceivable, whereby in particular the connection of sensors, cameras or similar components would also be conceivable, which transmit data on their own via the lines of the trunking system, which then for example for automated control of the system can be used.
- the present invention includes all conceivable electrical units that can be connected to a busbar in a meaningful way.
- the support rail 10 has as a supporting element a downwardly open, U-shaped support rail profile 15 which, with two side walls 16 and a horizontal wall 17 connecting the side walls 16, encloses an elongated receiving space in which the later is to be introduced contacting element described in more detail.
- busbars 20 with contactable lines 25 are formed, which can be contacted by the lights or units to be connected to the system 1.
- the lines 25 are supported by specially designed line holding elements 21 made of an insulating material, which are fastened to the side walls 16 of the support rail profile 15 and form elongated grooves or channels 22 open to the inside, in which the lines 25, which are formed, for example, by uninsulated wires, are stored.
- a so-called bar light 30 is shown in the present figures, which, as shown in FIG. 2, rests on the underside of the mounting rail profile 15 and has an elongated profile body 31 as a load-bearing element. Illuminants in the form of LEDs are provided on the underside of the profile body 31, distributed over a large area, the cover 35 responsible for the emission of light having lenses 36 assigned to the LEDs.
- Profiled lateral webs 33 then extend on both longitudinal sides of the plate-shaped area 32, which, as shown in FIG. 1, come into contact with the underside of the mounting rail profile 15 of the mounting rail 10, so that the lamp 30 closes the lower opening of the mounting rail 10 accordingly tightly .
- contacting elements 40 are already known per se. They are rotatably mounted about a rotation or pivot axis I, which is perpendicular to the plate-shaped area 32 of the carrier element 31.
- the Contacting elements 40 on the one hand, pin-like or wing-like contacts 42 are provided; on the other hand, the contacting element 40 also has locking projections 46.
- a so-called open position - the contacts 42 and the locking elements 46 are designed and oriented in such a way that the contacting element 40 can be easily inserted from the underside into the receiving space of the support rail 10 and in particular not with the side walls 16 of the Support rail profile 15 collides.
- the contacting element 40 can be rotated about the axis I so that the contacts 42 and locking elements 46 are pivoted out into the position shown in FIG.
- the corresponding lines 25 of the busbars 20 are then contacted according to the position of the contacts.
- the locking projections 46 engage behind corresponding projections on the mounting rail 10, so that the lamp 30 not only makes contact with the lines 25 and is thus connected to the power supply, but is also mechanically fixed on the mounting rail 10.
- the trunking system 1 and the luminaire 30 are identical to the previously known solutions from the prior art.
- the solution according to the invention now relates to the question of how the contacting element 40 can be pivoted between the open position and the contacting position.
- the invention provides that the turning of the contacting element 40 with the aid of a linearly displaceable, takes place on the carrier element 31 mounted separate actuating element 50, which is coupled in a suitable manner to the contacting element 40.
- the actuating element 50 is shown in isolation in FIG. It is formed by an elongated plastic part 51 which forms a latch and is mounted in a suitable manner on the carrier element 31 of the lamp 30.
- a slot 34 (see in particular FIG. 3) into which the actuating element 50 is inserted is formed in the transition area between the bottom surface 32 and the lateral web 33 of the carrier element 31.
- the guidance of the actuating element 50 along the carrier element 31 of the lamp 30 can be improved in that the plastic body 51 has an elongated, in cross-section approximately circular segment-shaped channel 52 in which a wall of the carrier element 31 delimiting the slot 34 engages accordingly.
- a tooth structure 55 with a plurality of teeth 56 arranged one behind the other is formed on one longitudinal side of the actuating element 50 over a certain section. These are provided to interact in a suitable manner with corresponding teeth on the contacting element 40, so that a displacement of the actuating element 50 is converted into a rotation of the contacting element 40.
- the teeth provided for this purpose on the contacting element 40 can be seen in particular in FIG. 4, with the base body 45 of the contacting element 40 formed from an insulating material being particularly recognizable here.
- the base body 45 is rotatably mounted on the carrier element 31 of the lamp 30 about the axis I, which can be achieved, for example, in that the base body 45 has a central through opening 47, which can be used, for example, to introduce a corresponding guide web by which the contacting element 40 is then rotated.
- an approximately circular coupling disk 48 is formed, which is also formed with a toothing 49 over part of the circumference.
- the actuating element 50 and the coupling disk 48 are designed in such a way that when the two components are arranged on the carrier element 31, the respective toothings 55 and 49 mesh with one another and thus the two components are coupled to one another.
- a rotation of the contacting element 40 and thus a transfer between the open position and the contacting position can then be carried out in a simple manner in that the actuating element 50 is displaced in the longitudinal direction along the carrier element 31 of the lamp 30, as indicated by the double arrow in FIG 6 is indicated.
- the linear displacement of the actuating element 50 is facilitated by the fact that it has an approximately gable-like grip element 57 on the side opposite the toothing 55, which enables the actuating element 50 to be gripped and displaced in a simple manner
- the handle part 57 is designed to be inclined and accordingly points downwards, starting from the plane of the plate-shaped area 32 of the carrier element 31 of the lamp 30. This makes actuation even easier, since the handle part 57 projects exactly diagonally into the corner area between the lamp cover 35 and the side walls 16 of the support rail 10.
- the actuating part 57 can be reached easily and comfortably, so that the contacting element 40 can be brought into the desired position in a simple manner.
- the handle part 57 does not protrude laterally outward or downward beyond the light strip system 1, so that on the one hand the appearance is not changed and on the other hand there is also no risk of inadvertent actuation of the contacting element 40 and thus, for example, an unintentional detachment of the light from the trunking system 1 takes place.
- the solution according to the invention creates a very easy-to-use, extremely convenient possibility of actuating the contacting element of a light or, in general, of a unit of a light strip system that is to be connected.
- the concept according to the invention can be used not only for lights, but in principle for all consumers or units that are to be connected to corresponding mounting rails.
- the actuating element 50 can be provided that the actuating element 50 and thus the contacting element 40 are secured in positions that correspond to the open position and / or the contacting position.
- Appropriate Latching or clamping projections can be provided. These can also be designed in such a way that a mechanical and / or acoustic feedback is received through which a user can clearly recognize when installing the light that the contacting element is in the desired open position or in the contacting position.
