Definitions

  • the present invention relates to a busbar for lights or electrical units and a light line system which has such a busbar.
  • Busbars are characterized in that the wires or lines used for the power supply are accessible or contactable over at least a larger longitudinal section, which opens up the possibility of being able to position consumers to be connected more or less flexibly, at least over this area.
  • consumers for example the luminaires in a light line system - can not only be arranged in fixed positions, but can also be freely positioned at the desired location.
  • a well-known continuous-row system in which such busbars are used is marketed by the applicant under the name "TECTON".
  • a special feature of this light line system is that the lines used for the power supply provide a normal mains supply voltage of e.g. 250 volts and are nevertheless continuously accessible for contacting over the entire length of the light line system. This is achieved, among other things, by arranging the lines in a line receiving structure made of an insulating material, which forms grooves that are open toward a contacting side.
  • the cables can then be contacted by lights connected to the continuous lighting system or other loads, with the grooves and the individual components of the cable receiving structure being designed in such a way that accidental touching of the live cables is prevented or the corresponding safety regulations are observed which is to prevent accidental touching of the lines, must be met.
  • the busbar used in the continuous-row system mentioned above could be implemented in any length.
  • the cable receiving structure consisting of the insulating material or the support rail containing the cable receiving structure, which represents the supporting element of the light line system, is only manufactured and transported up to a certain length.
  • Mounting rails which are equipped with sections of a busbar, made available in standard lengths, in which case the mounting rails and the busbar sections must be connected to one another when installing the light line system on site.
  • One way of connecting these busbar sections to one another is disclosed in the DE 41 41 799 A1 .
  • FIG 6 shows a single electrical connection contact, as it is currently used in the "TECTON" system and, for example, from the EP 1 284 033 B1 is known.
  • This connection contact 100 consists of an elongate contacting plate 101, which is bent on its longitudinal sides and whose function is to take over and forward the electric current of the lines that are routed along the conductor rail.
  • spring contacts 102 are arranged at the ends of the contacting plate 101, which allow the end regions of the wires of two current sections to be connected to be connected to one another to be contacted in a clamping manner.
  • connecting elements 110 are also provided in the transition area between two mounting rails 120 that are to be connected to one another (the front end area of a mounting rail that is to be connected to another identical mounting rail is shown here) of the continuous lighting system, which serve to accommodate the electrical connecting contacts 100.
  • These connecting elements 110 have groove-like recesses 111 corresponding to the grooves of the line receiving structure, the electrical connecting contacts 100 being inserted into the connecting element 110 in such a way that the contacting plates 101 of the connecting contacts 100 are accessible via the groove-shaped recesses 111 .
  • the recesses 111 of the connecting element 110 thus continue the grooves of the line receiving structure and the contacting plate 101 bridges the lines of the conductor rail sections to be connected to one another.
  • the present invention is now based on the object of further improving the contacting options of a continuous-row system based on the above-described solution known from the prior art.
  • electrical connecting contacts are provided in the connecting area of two consecutive busbar sections, to which the front ends of two lines to be connected are connected and which form a contacting surface accessible from the contacting side of the busbar. According to the present invention, however, the electrical connecting contacts are developed in such a way that there is a further contacting possibility on a rear side opposite the contacting surface.
  • a busbar for lights or electrical units which has a plurality of busbar sections that can be connected to one another, each of which has a plurality of lines running in the longitudinal direction for power supply and/or signal transmission, which are made of an insulating material in grooves that are open toward a contacting side existing cable receiving structure are arranged.
  • Electrical connecting contacts are provided in the connecting area of two consecutive busbar sections, to which the front ends of two lines to be connected are connected and which form a contacting surface that is accessible on the contacting side, with several of the electrical connecting contacts being arranged in a connecting element which corresponds to the grooves of the Line receiving structure for the lines has corresponding groove-like recesses through which the contacting surfaces of the electrical connection contacts are accessible.
  • the electrical connecting contacts have an additional one on a rear side opposite the contacting surface Contacting surface or a contact, in particular a clamp or spring contact, the connecting element having openings on its rear side opposite the recesses, via which the further contacting surface or the contact is accessible in each case.
  • the electrical connection contact according to the invention now offers another contacting option which is accessible from the opposite side or the back of the connection contact.
  • the contacting possibilities of the busbar or a light line system using the busbar are significantly increased, since there is now also the possibility of contacting the conductors of the busbar from the rear in the transition area between two consecutive busbar sections.
  • this can be used, for example, to simply and elegantly feed in at this point and connect the conductor rail lines to the general power supply.
  • the additional contacting options could also be used to connect additional consumers or units and to supply them with power, even if they are located, for example, outside of a support structure of the light line system.
  • Another bonding pad is formed.
  • Corresponding connections or consumers are then to be designed in this case in such a way that they come into contact with the corresponding contacting surface in order to achieve a connection to the lines of the conductor rail.
  • An additional contact in particular a clamp or spring contact, is formed on the back.
  • the further contacting surface or the contact can be an integral part of the connecting contact.
  • an additional contacting element to be used, which is arranged on the connection contact and then forms the further contacting surface or the contact.
  • the connecting contact preferably has an elongated contacting plate, which forms the actual contacting surface and at the ends of which clamping or spring contacts are arranged for clamping the lines of the busbar sections to be connected to the electrical connecting contact.
  • a mounting rail for the power supply of lights or electrical units which has a mounting rail profile and at least one busbar held by the mounting rail profile according to one of the preceding claims.
  • the support rail profile has at least one wall on which the busbar sections are arranged, the wall having openings or areas that can be opened, which allow access to the additional contacting elements of the electrical connection contacts. That is, the support rail profile is designed in such a way that access to the additional contacting options of the electrical connecting contacts according to the invention can be obtained, if this is desired. If, on the other hand, these additional contacting options are not to be used, the wall of the mounting rail preferably continues to cover the corresponding areas of the contacting elements, so that they cannot be accidentally touched. In this case, the areas to be opened are preferably formed by punchings or otherwise formed incisions, which form tabs that can be bent out or areas that can be broken out in the wall of the mounting rail profile.
  • the mounting rail profile itself can, for example, be U-shaped or H-shaped with two side walls, on the inside of which a corresponding conductor rail is then arranged.
  • the mounting rail profile consists of a plurality of mounting rail elements arranged one behind the other, with the electrical connecting contacts according to the invention being arranged in the transition region of two consecutive mounting rail elements.
  • connection contact according to the invention design of the electrical connection contact according to the invention and of a connection element containing a plurality of corresponding connection contacts will first be described below. It is then explained to what extent the electrical connection contacts according to the invention can be used advantageously in a busbar or in a light line system with a corresponding busbar.
  • the electrical connection contact shown corresponds to the already known connection contact, as shown in figure 6 shown is very similar.
  • the connecting contact according to the invention also consists of an elongated contacting plate 2 that is slightly bent downwards on its long sides, the task of which is to take over and forward the electric current from the wires or lines of the busbar sections.
  • At the ends of the contacting plate 2 is a preferably made of a chromium-nickel alloy existing spring contact element 3 is arranged, which has an inwardly bent spring tongue 4, through which a wire inserted into the connecting contact 1 is clamped and pressed sufficiently firmly against the contacting plate 2 with regard to the electrical contact resistances.
  • the clamping force of the spring contacts 3 is also preferably large enough that the wires are fixed sufficiently strong and cannot shift or migrate when the thermal expansion of the busbar changes.
  • the side of the contacting plate 2, which is preferably made of tinned copper, and which is remote from the wires then forms the primary contacting surface 5 for consumers to be connected.
  • the contacting plate 2 also has a slightly curved or triangular indentation 6 on its underside, so that a larger contact surface is created for the wires to be connected.
  • the structure of the electrical connecting contact 1 described so far corresponds to the structure as is also known from the prior art. What is new, however, according to the invention is that a further contacting element 8 is arranged approximately in the middle region of the contacting plate 2, which offers a further contacting possibility.
  • the contacting element 8 is shown as a U-shaped clamp, which is placed with its two side walls 10 on the contacting plate 2 and fastened here accordingly.
  • the fastening of the additional contacting element 8 takes place primarily by appropriate clamping onto the contacting plate 2, although additional measures such as soldering, gluing or the like can be provided in order to optimize the connection. What is essential is that there is an electrically conductive connection and accordingly the contacting element 8 is conductively connected to the other areas of the connecting contact 1 .
  • the additional contacting element 8 now provides a further contacting surface 9 on the rear side of the electrical connecting contact 1 opposite the contacting surface 5 of the contacting plate 2 .
  • this is only designed as a flat contact surface, which enables contact to be made by touching the surface accordingly.
  • provision could also be made for additional measures to be provided in a further development in order to enable improved contacting.
  • the contacting element 8 as a one-piece component of the connecting contact 1 or, for example, to design the contacting plate 2 in such a way that it directly forms the additional contacting surface 9 or the additional contact.
  • figure 2 shows schematically the contacting options resulting from the connection contact according to the invention.
  • the flat side of the contacting plate 2 forms the primary contacting surface 5, which bridges the wires 50 and thus ensures that contacting by a consumer is also possible in the transition area of the busbar sections to be connected to one another.
  • This is shown schematically by a single contact 55, which is arranged on a consumer, not shown in detail, and is designed in such a way that it can touch the surface of the contacting plate 2 for contacting.
  • This direction of contacting is identical to the contacting of the lines or wires 50, which ultimately leads to a continuous connection option being created over the entire length of the system with the aid of the connecting contact 1.
  • connection contact 1 now enables a further contact possibility, namely from the rear side of the connection contact 1 opposite the consumer.
  • a further contact 60 is also shown schematically here, which can come into contact with the contacting surface 9 of the additional contacting element 8 and in this Case is then in turn electrically conductively connected to the wires 50 of the busbar.
  • the use of the electrical connection contacts 1 according to the invention is preferably provided in a system as described in figure 5 is shown schematically and corresponds to the solution known from the prior art.
  • the support rail 30 shown here in section thus has a U-shaped configuration which is open towards the underside and encloses a receiving space with the two side walls 31 and the upper side 32 .
  • Busbars 33 with insulating line holding structures 35 are formed on both side walls 31 of this receiving space, each of which forms longitudinally extending grooves 36 in which the lines or wires 50 of the busbars 33 are mounted.
  • a corresponding system is provided in a modular manner, i.e. support rails 30 are provided with a standard length, which are then already fitted with the corresponding wire holding structure 35 and the lines 50 arranged therein.
  • the individual support rails 30 are then arranged one behind the other and mechanically connected to one another, with the lines 50 of the busbar sections also having to be connected to one another at the transition areas, which is done with the aid of the electrical connecting contacts 1 according to the invention.
  • connecting elements 1 are combined in a larger connecting element 20, as shown in figure 3 is shown.
  • This connecting element 20 consists of an insulating material and forms an approximately cuboid insulating housing 21 which serves to accommodate a plurality of electrical connecting contacts 1 .
  • the connecting element 20 has recesses 22 running parallel in the longitudinal direction, which correspond to the grooves or channels 36 of the line receiving structure 35 and which open into insertion openings 23 on the end faces, which enable the insertion of the lines 50 to be connected.
  • the connection contacts 1 according to the invention are used here in corresponding recordings, so that their contacting surfaces 5 via the Recesses 22 are accessible from the top.
  • the contacting surfaces 5 of the connecting contacts 1 continue the lines 50 of the busbar sections, so that here as well as with the aid of FIG figure 2 already explained, there is a continuous contacting option for the contacts 55 of consumers to be connected to the system.
  • the rear side is then closed off by a rear wall 25 which can be attached in a detachable manner.
  • connecting contacts 1 since the connecting contacts 1 according to the invention now also offer the further contacting option pointing to the back, corresponding openings 26 are formed in the rear wall 25 of the connecting element 20, in contrast to previously known solutions, through which the contacting surfaces 9 of the connecting contacts 1 are accessible.
  • the webs 27 provided between these openings 26 are used, on the one hand, for better positioning of the connecting contacts 1 in the connecting element 20, and on the other hand, they ensure a clear separation of the contacting surfaces 9 arranged next to one another on the back, so that individual contacting of individual surfaces and thus individual lines of the busbar system 33 is also possible possible from the rear.
  • the outer walls of the support rail profiles 30 of the support rails are then designed in the area of the connecting elements 20 in such a way that - as in figure 4 recognizable - the backs of the connecting elements 20 and thus the contacting surfaces 9 of the connecting contacts 1 are actually accessible. Provision can be made for this to be the case, in principle, at every transition region between two support rail profiles 30 arranged one behind the other, which can be achieved in that the respective adjacent support rail profiles 30 have cutouts 40 here, through which an approximately rectangular opening 41 is formed overall which the backs of the connecting elements 20 are accessible from the outside. As an alternative to this, however, provision can also be made for access to the back of a connecting element 20 only to take place if this is actually desired. In this case, tabs that can be broken out or bent out would be provided, for example, on the walls of the support rail profiles 30, through which the backs of the connecting elements 20 can be exposed if a contacting possibility is to be created here.
  • connecting elements 20 take place at the transition between two support rail sections 30 to be connected to one another, as is shown in figure 4 is shown. In principle, however, it would also be conceivable to also position the connecting elements 20 designed according to the invention with the connecting contacts 1 that can be contacted on the back in the middle of a corresponding mounting rail.
  • the individual busbar sections do not necessarily have to be designed and arranged as described above and as known from the prior art.
  • the wire support structures are formed from several interconnected individual wire support elements, which are produced by injection molding and are designed in such a way that they allow relative displacement to one another, while still enclosing the lines in a protected manner. Even if this represents the ideal case for the realization of a conductor rail for the present invention, the corresponding line receiving structures could also be designed to be less complex and, for example, be produced by extrusion if they nevertheless have corresponding grooves in which the lines are received.
  • busbar 33 as in figure 5 shown to be arranged on the side walls of a U-shaped mounting rail.
  • a corresponding conductor rail could be positioned on the underside of the upper wall 32, which uses connecting contacts.
  • an additional pick-off or feeding directly from the top of the mounting rail 30 would be possible, whereby this could be used, for example, to supply lighting units positioned on the top of the mounting rail and used for indirect lighting with power.
  • connection to data lines used for communication would also be conceivable, whereby in particular the connection of sensors, cameras or similar components would be conceivable, which themselves transmit data via the lines of the light line system, which are then used, for example, for the automated control of the system.
  • the invention leads to particular advantages, since such components are usually arranged on the outside of a light line system anyway. In this sense, the present invention can be used to advantageously connect all conceivable electrical units to a busbar.
  • the solution according to the invention allows the advantages of a busbar known in the prior art to be used to their full extent, although additional contacting options are created, through which the possible uses are further expanded.
