Un generador eléctrico (100) basado en gas licuado del petróleo, GLP, que comprende un chasis (110) que comprende un primer compartimento (110a) y un segundo compartimento (110b) y un equipo electrógeno (120) establecido en el primer compartimento (110a) caracterizado por que el generador eléctrico (100) comprende al menos un tanque de GLP (130) establecido en el segundo compartimento (110b) y un primer tren de gas de alimentación en fase líquida (140) que conecta el al menos un tanque de GLP (130) al equipo electrógeno (120) para el suministro de GLP al equipo electrógeno (120).
