図22に、光学装置の一実施形態であるデジタルカメラの概略構成を示す。デジタルカメラ1は、本体2と本体2に着脱可能な撮影レンズ3により構成される。本体2は、撮像素子4と、デジタルカメラの動作を制御する本体制御部(不図示)と、液晶操作画面5を備える。撮影レンズ3は、複数のレンズ群からなる光学系ZLと、各レンズ群の位置を制御するレンズ位置制御機構(不図示)を備える。レンズ位置制御機構は、レンズ群の位置を検出するセンサ、レンズ群を光軸に沿って前後に移動させるモーター、モーターを駆動する制御回路などにより構成される。
被写体からの光は、撮影レンズ3の光学系ZLにより集光されて、撮像素子4の像面I上に到達する。像面Iに到達した被写体からの光は、撮像素子4により光電変換され、デジタル画像データとして不図示のメモリに記録される。メモリに記録されたデジタル画像データは、ユーザの操作に応じて液晶画面5に表示される。以下、光学系ZLについて、詳細に説明する。
一実施形態における光学系は、光軸上に並んで配置された、先行レンズ群と第1合焦レンズ群と第2合焦レンズ群とを含む複数のレンズ群からなり、先行レンズ群は、第1合焦レンズ群よりも物体側に配置され、第2合焦レンズ群は、第1合焦レンズ群よりも像面側に配置される。第1合焦レンズ群は、正の屈折力を有し、無限遠物体から近距離物体への合焦の際、光軸に沿って像面側に移動し、第2合焦レンズ群は、負の屈折力を有し、無限遠物体から近距離物体への合焦の際、光軸に沿って物体側に移動し、第1合焦レンズ群と第2合焦レンズ群の間に、少なくとも1枚のレンズを含む中間レンズ群を有する。
上記実施形態の光学系は、中間レンズ群を設けることにより、第1合焦レンズ群と第2合焦レンズ群とが離れて配置されるようにし、2つの合焦レンズの役割分担を明確にすることで、合焦の際に収差を良好に補正し、特に近距離物体合焦時に高い光学性能を達成することができる。

条件式(1)は、第1合焦レンズ群と第2合焦レンズ群の間隔を、光学系の全長に対する比の形式で規定したものである。距離dFFと全長TLは、光学系が変倍光学系の場合には、光学系の全長が最大となる焦点距離(ズームポジション)における無限遠物体合焦時の値とする。この条件式を満足することで、第1合焦レンズ群と第2合焦レンズ群との間隔は、合焦の際に良好な収差補正を行うのに適した間隔となり、近距離物体合焦時に高い光学性能を達成することができる。
条件式(1)の対応値が上限値0.65を上回ると、2つの合焦レンズ群の間隔が広くなりすぎて、良好に収差を補正することが難しくなる。本実施形態の効果を確実なものとするためには、条件式(1)の上限値を、より小さな値、例えば0.62、0.60、0.58、0.55、0.52または0.50とすることが好ましい。
条件式(1)の対応値が下限値0.20を下回ると、2つの合焦レンズ群の間隔が狭くなりすぎて、良好に収差を補正することが難しくなる。本実施形態の効果を確実なものとするためには、条件式(1)の下限値を、より大きな値、例えば0.22、0.24、0.26、0.28、0.30、または0.32とすることが好ましい。

条件式(2)の対応値が上限値0.24を上回ると、バックフォーカスが長くなりすぎて、諸収差を良好に補正することが難しくなる。本実施形態の効果を確実なものとするためには、条件式(2)の上限値を、より小さな値、例えば0.24、0.22、0.20、0.18、0.17、または0.16とすることが好ましい。
条件式(2)の対応値が下限値0.00を下回ると、レンズが像面に物理的に接触してしまう。本実施形態の効果を確実なものとするためには、条件式(2)の下限値を、より大きな値、例えば0.00、0.02、0.04、0.05、0.06、0.07、または0.08とすることが好ましい。

条件式(4)の対応値が上限値1.50を上回ると、第1レンズのパワーが強くなり、コマ収差などの諸収差を良好に補正することが難しくなる。本実施形態の効果を確実なものとするためには、条件式(4)の上限値を、より小さな値、例えば1.45、1.40、1.35、1.30、1.25、1.20、1.15、または1.10とすることが好ましい。
条件式(4)の対応値が下限値0.20を下回ると、第1レンズのパワーが弱くなり、光学系を小型化することが難しくなる。本実施形態の効果を確実なものとするためには、条件式(4)の下限値を、より大きな値、例えば0.24、0.28、0.32、0.35、0.50、0.60、0.70、または0.80とすることが好ましい。

条件式(5)の対応値が上限値1.20を上回ると、先行レンズ群のパワーが弱くなり、歪曲収差などの諸収差を良好に補正することが難しくなる。本実施形態の効果を確実なものとするためには、条件式(5)の上限値を、より小さな値、例えば1.15、1.10、1.05、1.00、0.95または0.90とすることが好ましい。
条件式(5)の対応値が下限値0.40を下回ると、レトロフォーカスタイプに近づき、光学系全長が長くなる。本実施形態の効果を確実なものとするためには、条件式(5)の下限値を、より大きな値、例えば0.45、0.50、0.55または0.60とすることが好ましい。

条件式(6)の対応値が上限値0.80を上回ると、第2合焦レンズ群以降のレンズ群のパワーが強くなり、像面湾曲などの諸収差を良好に補正することが難しくなる。本実施形態の効果を確実なものとするためには、条件式(6)の上限値を、より小さな値、例えば0.77、0.75、0.73、0.70または0.68とすることが好ましい。
条件式(6)の対応値が下限値0.10を下回ると、第2合焦レンズ群以降のレンズ群のパワーが弱くなり、2つの合焦レンズ群により合焦を行うことにより得られる効果が得られなくなる。本実施形態の効果を確実なものとするためには、条件式(6)の下限値を、より大きな値、例えば0.12、0.15、0.17、0.20または0.22とすることが好ましい。

条件式(7)の対応値が上限値0.020を上回ると、倍率色収差を良好に補正することが難しくなる。本実施形態の効果を確実なものとするためには、条件式(7)の上限値を、より小さな値、例えば0.018、0.016、0.015または0.014とすることが好ましい。
条件式(7)の対応値が下限値0.000を下回ると、倍率色収差を良好に補正することが難しくなる。本実施形態の効果を確実なものとするためには、条件式(7)の下限値を、より大きな値、例えば0.002、0.004、0.005または0.006とすることが好ましい。

条件式(9)の対応値が下限値-0.50を下回ると、上記の最も像面に近いレンズは正の屈折力が強いレンズとなり、バックフォーカスが伸び、光学系を小型化することが難しくなる。本実施形態の効果を確実なものとするためには、条件式(9)の下限値を、より大きな値、例えば-0.45、-0.40、-0.35、-0.30、-0.25、-0.20、-0.15、または-0.10とすることが好ましい。

条件式(14)は、第2合焦レンズ群の無限遠物体合焦時の横倍率が満たす条件を規定するものである。横倍率βF2は、光学系が変倍光学系の場合には、光学系の全長が最大となる焦点距離における無限遠物体合焦時の値とする。この条件式(14)を満足することで、無限遠物体から近距離物体への合焦の際、球面収差をはじめとする諸収差の変動を抑え、全域に亘り高い光学性能を達成することができる。
条件式(14)の対応値が上限値0.250を上回ると、合焦の際に諸収差の変動を抑えにくくなる。本実施形態の効果を確実なものとするためには、条件式(14)の上限値を、より小さな値、例えば0.24998、0.24996または0.24994とすることが好ましい。

条件式(15)の対応値が上限値0.80を上回ると、第1合焦レンズ群の横倍率が大きすぎて、球面収差などの諸収差を良好に補正することが難しくなる。本実施形態の効果を確実なものとするためには、条件式(15)の上限値を、より小さな値、例えば0.75、0.70、0.65、0.60、0.55、0.50または0.45とすることが好ましい。
条件式(15)の対応値が下限値-0.20を下回ると、第1合焦レンズ群の横倍率が小さすぎて、コマ収差などの諸収差を良好に補正することが難しくなる。本実施形態の効果を確実なものとするためには、条件式(15)の下限値を、より大きな値、例えば-0.16、-0.12、-0.08または-0.04とすることが好ましい。

条件式(16)は、無限遠物体から至近距離物体への合焦の際の、2つの合焦レンズ群の移動量の比を規定するものである。移動量MF1,MF2は、光学系が変倍光学系の場合には、光学系の全長が最大となる焦点距離における無限遠物体合焦時の値とする。この条件式を満足することで、無限遠物体から至近距離物体への合焦の際、像面湾曲などの諸収差を良好に補正し、収差変動を効果的に抑えることができる。
条件式(16)の対応値が上限値-0.01を上回ると、第2合焦レンズ群の移動量が大きくなりすぎて、光学系全体が大型化する。本実施形態の効果を確実なものとするためには、条件式(16)の上限値を、より小さな値、例えば0.03、-0.05、-0.07、-0.08とすることが好ましい。
条件式(16)の対応値が下限値-1.00を下回ると、第2合焦レンズ群の移動量が小さくなりすぎて、十分な合焦精度を実現することが難しくなる。本実施形態の効果を確実なものとするためには、条件式(16)の下限値を、より大きな値、例えば-0.9、-0.8、-0.7、-0.6、-0.5、-0.45とすることが好ましい。

条件式(17)の対応値が上限値0.60を上回ると、第1合焦レンズ群のパワーが強すぎて、コマ収差などの諸収差を良好に補正することが難しくなる。本実施形態の効果を確実なものとするためには、条件式(17)の上限値を、より小さな値、例えば0.60、0.55、0.50、0.45または0.42とすることが好ましい。
条件式(17)の対応値が下限値0.10を下回ると、第1合焦レンズ群のパワーが弱すぎて、合焦レンズ群の移動量を大きくする必要が生じ、光学系全体を小型化することが難しくなる。本実施形態の効果を確実なものとするためには、条件式(17)の下限値を、より大きな値、例えば0.10、0.12、0.15、0.17、0.20または0.21とすることが好ましい。

条件式(20)は、第2合焦レンズ群の移動方向について規定するもので、第2合焦レンズ群が、合焦のための向きとは逆方向に動き収差を補正することを示している。横倍率βF2、合計倍率βR、移動量MF2は、光学系が変倍光学系の場合には、光学系の全長が最大となる焦点距離における無限遠物体合焦時の値とする。この条件式を満足することで、光学系を大型化することなく、諸収差を良好に補正し、合焦時の収差変動を抑えることができる。
条件式(20)の対応値が上限値2.00を上回ると、合焦のための移動量が増えすぎて、光学系を小型化することが難しくなる。本実施形態の効果を確実なものとするためには、条件式(20)の上限値を、より小さな値、例えば1.90、1.80、1.70、1.60、1.50とすることが好ましい。

条件式(21)の対応値が上限値0.50を上回ると、第1合焦レンズ群の位置が下がりすぎ(物体から遠ざかり)、光学系が大きくなる。本実施形態の効果を確実なものとするためには、条件式(21)の上限値を、より小さな値、例えば0.48、0.46、0.44または0.43とすることが好ましい。
条件式(21)の対応値が下限値0.10を下回ると、第1合焦レンズ群が前方に出すぎて(物体に近くなり)、コマ収差などの諸収差を良好に補正することが難しくなる。本実施形態の効果を確実なものとするためには、条件式(21)の下限値を、より大きな値、例えば0.12、0.15、0.17、0.20または0.22とすることが好ましい。

第2合焦レンズ群の後方には像面が配置されているため、第2合焦レンズ群を像面側に寄せる場合、その配置位置には物理的な限界がある。条件式(22)における上限値0.90は、この物理的な限界を示している。条件式(22)の上限値は、本実施形態の効果を確実なものとするためには、より小さな値、例えば0.88、0.86、0.84または0.83とすることが好ましい。
条件式(22)の対応値が下限値0.50を下回ると、第2合焦レンズ群が前方に出すぎて諸収差を十分に補正することが難しくなる。本実施形態の効果を確実なものとするためには、条件式(22)の下限値を、より大きな値、例えば0.55、0.60、0.65、0.70、0.72または0.74とすることが好ましい。
続いて、図23および24を参照しながら、上記光学系の製造方法について概説する。
図23に例示する製造方法では、先行レンズ群と第1合焦レンズ群と第2合焦レンズ群とを含む複数のレンズ群を光軸上に並べ、レンズ鏡筒内に配置する。この際、先行レンズ群は、第1合焦レンズ群よりも物体側に配置され、第2合焦レンズ群は第1合焦レンズ群よりも像面側に配置されるようにする(ST1)。第1合焦レンズ群は、正の屈折力を有し、無限遠物体から近距離物体への合焦の際、光軸に沿って像面側に移動し、第2合焦レンズ群は、負の屈折力を有し、無限遠物体から近距離物体への合焦の際、光軸に沿って物体側に移動するように構成する(ST2)。第1合焦レンズ群と第2合焦レンズ群の間には、少なくとも1枚のレンズを含む中間レンズ群を配置する(ST3)。
図23に例示する製造方法では、先行レンズ群と第1合焦レンズ群と第2合焦レンズ群とを含む複数のレンズ群を光軸上に並べ、レンズ鏡筒内に配置する。この際、先行レンズ群は、第1合焦レンズ群よりも物体側に配置され、第2合焦レンズ群は第1合焦レンズ群よりも像面側に配置されるようにする(ST1)。第1合焦レンズ群は、正の屈折力を有し、無限遠物体から近距離物体への合焦の際、光軸に沿って像面側に移動し、第2合焦レンズ群は、負の屈折力を有し、無限遠物体から近距離物体への合焦の際、光軸に沿って物体側に移動するように構成する(ST2)。第1合焦レンズ群と第2合焦レンズ群の間には、少なくとも1枚のレンズを含む中間レンズ群を配置する(ST3)。
図24に例示する製造方法では、光軸上に並んで配置された、先行レンズ群と第1合焦レンズ群と第2合焦レンズ群とを含む複数のレンズ群を、レンズ鏡筒内に配置する。この際、先行レンズ群は第1合焦レンズ群よりも物体側に配置され、第2合焦レンズ群は第1合焦レンズ群よりも像面側に配置されるようにする(ST1)。先行レンズ群は、合焦に際し像面に対して固定であり、第1合焦レンズ群は、正の屈折力を有し、無限遠物体から近距離物体への合焦の際、光軸に沿って像面側に移動し、第2合焦レンズ群は、負の屈折力を有し、無限遠物体から近距離物体への合焦の際、光軸に沿って物体側に移動するように構成する(ST2)。さらに、以下の条件式を満足するように、各レンズ群をレンズ鏡筒内に配置する。

上記手順により製造された光学系およびその光学系を搭載した光学装置は、第1合焦レンズ群と第2合焦レンズ群の間に中間レンズ群を設け、あるいは第1合焦レンズ群と第2合焦レンズ群の間隔を適切な間隔に保つことにより、第1合焦レンズ群と第2合焦レンズ群の役割分担を明確にする。これにより、第1合焦レンズ群を像面側へ、第2合焦レンズを物体側へと移動させて、無限遠物体から近距離物体への合焦を行う際に、諸収差を良好に補正し、近距離物体合焦状態においても高い光学性能を実現することができる。
以下、上記光学系について、実施例1から実施例8までの8つの数値実施例を示して、さらに説明する。はじめに、各実施例の説明の中で参照する図表の見方を説明する。図1、図4、図7、図10、図13、図16、図18および図20は、各実施例における光学系のレンズ群の配列を断面図により示している。各図の上段には、無限遠物体から近距離物体に合焦する際の合焦レンズ群の移動方向を、「合焦」および「∞」の文字とともに矢印で示している。また、変倍光学系の場合には、各図の下段に、広角端状態(W)から望遠端状態に(T)ズーミング(変倍)するときのレンズ群Gおよび絞りSの光軸に沿った移動軌跡を矢印で示している。
これらの図では、各レンズ群を符号Gと数字の組み合わせにより表し、各レンズを符号Lと数字の組み合わせにより表している。本明細書では、符号の増加による煩雑化を防ぐため、実施例ごとに付番を行っている。このため、複数の実施例において同一の符号と数字の組み合わせが用いられる場合があるが、これは、その符号と数字の組み合わせが示す構成が同一であることを意味するものではない。
図2、図5、図8、図11および図14は、実施例1~5における光学系の無限遠物体合焦時の諸収差図であり、それぞれ(A)は広角端状態、(B)は望遠端状態における諸収差を示している。また、図3、図6、図9、図12および図15は、実施例1~5における光学系の至近距離物体合焦時の諸収差図であり、それぞれ(A)は広角端状態、(B)は望遠端状態における諸収差を示している。、図17、図19および図21は実施例6~8における光学系の諸収差図であり、それぞれ(A)は無限遠物体合焦時、(B)は近距離物体合焦時の諸収差を示している。
これらの図において、FNOはFナンバー、NAは開口数、Yは像高をそれぞれ示す。球面収差図では最大口径に対応するFナンバーまたは開口数の値を示し、非点収差図及び歪曲収差図では像高の最大値をそれぞれ示し、横収差図では各像高の値を示す。dはd線(λ=587.6nm)、gはg線(λ=435.8nm)を示す。非点収差図において、実線はサジタル像面、破線はメリディオナル像面をそれぞれ示す。歪曲収差図ではd線を基準とした歪曲収差を示し、倍率色収差図では、g線を基準とした倍率色収差を示す。
続いて、各実施例の説明に用いられる表について説明する。[全体諸元]の表において、fはレンズ全系の焦点距離、FNОはFナンバー、2ωは画角(単位は°(度)で、ωが半画角である)、Yは最大像高を示す。TLは無限遠物体合焦時の光軸上でのレンズ最前面からレンズ最終面までの距離にBFを加えた距離を示し、BFは無限遠物体合焦時の光軸上でのレンズ最終面から像面Iまでの空気換算距離(バックフォーカス)を示す。
[レンズ諸元]の表において、面番号は光線の進行する方向に沿った物体側からの光学面の順序を示し、Rは各光学面の曲率半径(曲率中心が像面側に位置する面を正の値としている)、Dは各光学面から次の光学面(又は像面)までの光軸上の距離である面間隔、ndは光学部材の材質のd線に対する屈折率、νdは光学部材の材質のd線を基準とするアッベ数を、それぞれ示す。面間隔(Di)は、面iから次の面までの間隔が可変であることを意味する。Sは開口絞りを、曲率半径の「∞」は平面又は開口を、それぞれ示す。空気の屈折率nd=1.00000の記載は省略している。レンズ面が非球面である場合には面番号に*印を付して曲率半径Rの欄には近軸曲率半径を示している。
[非球面データ]の表には、[レンズ諸元]に示した非球面について、その形状を次式(A)で示す。X(y)は非球面の頂点における接平面から高さyにおける非球面上の位置までの光軸方向に沿った距離(ザグ量)を、Rは基準球面の曲率半径(近軸曲率半径)を、κは円錐定数を、Aiは第i次の非球面係数を示す。「E-n」は、「×10-n」を示す。例えば、1.234E-05=1.234×10-5である。なお、2次の非球面係数A2は0であり、その記載を省略している。

[レンズ群データ]の表には、各レンズ群のそれぞれの始面(最も物体側の面)、焦点距離、広角端状態における無限遠物体合焦時の倍率、および望遠端状態における無限遠物体合焦時の倍率を示す。[第1レンズ群データ]の表は、レンズ群データに示した第1レンズ群を構成する各レンズの焦点距離を示す。
[可変間隔データ]の表には、[レンズ諸元]を示す表において面間隔が(Di)となっている面番号iにおける次の面までの面間隔を示す。面間隔は、無限遠物体合焦時の面間隔、至近距離物体合焦時の面間隔を、それぞれ示す。
なお、焦点距離f、曲率半径R、面間隔D、その他の長さの単位としては、一般に「mm」が用いられているため、本明細書の各表でも長さの単位は「mm」としている。但し、光学系は、比例拡大又は比例縮小しても同等の光学性能が得られるので、長さの単位は必ずしも「mm」に限られるものではない。
ここまでの図および表の説明は全ての実施例において共通であり、以下での重複する説明は省略する。
(実施例1)
実施例1について、図1、図2、図3および表1を用いて説明する。図1は、実施例1に係る光学系ZL(1)のレンズ構成を示す図である。光学系ZL(1)は、物体側から順に並んだ、負の屈折力を有する第1レンズ群G1と、正の屈折力を有する第2レンズ群G2と、負の屈折力を有する第3レンズ群G3と、正の屈折力を有する第4レンズ群G4と、負の屈折力を有する第5レンズ群G5とから構成されている。像面Iは、第5レンズ群G5の後に位置する。第2レンズ群G2内には第1の副絞りss1が配置され、第3レンズ群G3内には開口絞りSと第2の副絞りss2が配置されている。第1合焦レンズ群F1は、第2レンズ群G2の中の一部のレンズ群により構成され、第2合焦レンズ群F2は、第5レンズ群G5の中の一部のレンズ群により構成される。
実施例1について、図1、図2、図3および表1を用いて説明する。図1は、実施例1に係る光学系ZL(1)のレンズ構成を示す図である。光学系ZL(1)は、物体側から順に並んだ、負の屈折力を有する第1レンズ群G1と、正の屈折力を有する第2レンズ群G2と、負の屈折力を有する第3レンズ群G3と、正の屈折力を有する第4レンズ群G4と、負の屈折力を有する第5レンズ群G5とから構成されている。像面Iは、第5レンズ群G5の後に位置する。第2レンズ群G2内には第1の副絞りss1が配置され、第3レンズ群G3内には開口絞りSと第2の副絞りss2が配置されている。第1合焦レンズ群F1は、第2レンズ群G2の中の一部のレンズ群により構成され、第2合焦レンズ群F2は、第5レンズ群G5の中の一部のレンズ群により構成される。
各レンズ群は、光学系が広角端状態(W)から望遠端状態(T)への変倍の際に、図1下段の矢印が示す軌跡に沿って移動する。第1レンズ群G1は像面側へ移動し、、第2レンズ群G2から第5レンズ群G5までのレンズ群(後続レンズ群GB)は物体側へと移動し、第1レンズ群G1と後続レンズ群の間隔が変化することで、撮影倍率が変更される(変倍が行われる)。変倍に際しては、第1合焦レンズ群F1を含む第2レンズ群G2と、第2合焦レンズ群F2を含む第5レンズ群G5とは、同じ方向に同じ距離だけ移動する(移動軌跡が同じになる)。無限遠物体から近距離物体への合焦の際には、図1上段の矢印が示すように、第1合焦レンズ群F1が像面側に、第2合焦レンズ群F2が物体側に、それぞれ移動する。
第1レンズ群G1は、物体側に凸面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL11と、物体側に凸面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL12と、両凹形状の負レンズL13と、両凸形状の正レンズL14とから構成される。なお、負メニスカスレンズL11の両面が非球面であり、負メニスカスレンズL12の像側の面が非球面である。
第2レンズ群G2は、物体側に凸面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL21と両凸形状の正レンズL22の接合正レンズと、第1の副絞りss1と、物体側に凸面を向けた正メニスカスレンズL23と、物体側に凸面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL24と両凸形状の正レンズL25の接合正レンズとから構成される。このうち負メニスカスレンズL21と両凸形状の正レンズL22の接合正レンズは、第1合焦レンズ群F1として機能する。
第3レンズ群G3は、開口絞りSと、物体側に凹面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL31と、両凹形状の負レンズL32と、両凸形状の正レンズL33と、第2の副絞りss2とから構成される。
第4レンズ群G4は、物体側に凸面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL41と両凸形状の正レンズL42の接合正レンズと、両凸形状の正レンズL43と物体側に凹面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL44の接合正レンズとから構成される。
第5レンズ群G5は、両凸形状の正レンズL51と、両凹形状の負レンズL52と、物体側に凹面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL53とから構成される。このうち正レンズL51と負レンズL52は、第2合焦レンズ群F2として機能する。なお、負レンズL52の像側の面と、負メニスカスレンズL53の像側の面が非球面である。
本実施例では、中間レンズ群GAは、第2レンズ群G2内の副絞りss1から第4レンズ群G4の負メニスカスレンズL44までのレンズ群であり、第2合焦レンズ群以降のレンズ群GRは、第5レンズ群G5である。

図2に、実施例1に係る光学系の無限遠物体合焦状態における諸収差値を、図3に、実施例1に係る光学系の至近距離物体合焦状態における諸収差値を、それぞれ示す。これらの図において、(A)は広角端状態における諸収差値、(B)は望遠端状態における諸収差値を示している。各諸収差図より、実施例1に係る光学系は、広角端状態から望遠端状態までの全域に亘り、諸収差を良好に補正することができ、また、至近距離物体合焦状態においても優れた結像性能を有していることがわかる。
(実施例2)

第3レンズ群G3は、開口絞りSと、両凹形状の負レンズL31と、両凸形状の正レンズL32と、第2の副絞りss2とから構成される。
第4レンズ群G4は、物体側に凸面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL41と両凸形状の正レンズL42の接合正レンズと、両凸形状の正レンズL43と物体側に凹面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL44の接合正レンズとから構成される。
第5レンズ群G5は、両凸形状の正レンズL51と両凹形状の負レンズL52の接合正レンズと、物体側に凹面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL53とから構成される。このうち正レンズL51と負レンズL52の接合正レンズは、第2合焦レンズ群F2として機能する。なお、負レンズL52の像側の面と、負メニスカスレンズL53の像側の面が非球面である。
本実施例では、中間レンズ群GAは、第2レンズ群G2内の負メニスカスレンズL23から第4レンズ群G4内の負メニスカスレンズL44までのレンズ群であり、第2合焦レンズ群以降のレンズ群GRは、第5レンズ群G5である。

実施例3について、図7、図8、図9および表3を用いて説明する。図7は、実施例3に係る光学系ZL(3)のレンズ構成を示す図である。光学系ZL(3)は、物体側から順に並んだ、負の屈折力を有する第1レンズ群G1と、正の屈折力を有する第2レンズ群G2と、負の屈折力を有する第3レンズ群G3と、正の屈折力を有する第4レンズ群G4と、負の屈折力を有する第5レンズ群G5とから構成されている。像面Iは、第5レンズ群G5の後に位置する。第2レンズ群G2内には第1の副絞りss1が配置され、第3レンズ群G3内には開口絞りSと第2の副絞りss2が配置されている。第1合焦レンズ群F1は、第2レンズ群G2の中の一部のレンズ群により構成され、第2合焦レンズ群F2は、第5レンズ群G5の中の一部のレンズ群により構成される。
各レンズ群は、光学系が広角端状態(W)から望遠端状態(T)への変倍の際に、図7下段の矢印が示す軌跡に沿って移動する。第1レンズ群G1は像面側へ移動し、第2レンズ群G2から第5レンズ群G5までレンズ群(後続レンズ群GB)は物体側へと移動し、第1レンズ群G1と後続レンズ群の間隔が変化することで、撮影倍率が変更される(変倍が行われる)。変倍に際しては、第1合焦レンズ群F1を含む第2レンズ群G2と、第2合焦レンズ群F2を含む第5レンズ群G5とは、同じ方向に同じ距離だけ移動する(移動軌跡が同じになる)。無限遠物体から近距離物体への合焦の際には、図7上段の矢印が示すように、第1合焦レンズ群F1が像面側に、第2合焦レンズ群F2が物体側に、それぞれ移動する。
第1レンズ群G1は、物体側に凸面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL11と、物体側に凸面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL12と、両凹形状の負レンズL13と両凸形状の正レンズL14の接合負レンズとから構成される。なお、負メニスカスレンズL11の両面が非球面であり、負メニスカスレンズL12の像側の面が非球面である。
第2レンズ群G2は、第1の副絞りss1と、物体側に凸面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL21と両凸形状の正レンズL22の接合正レンズと、物体側に凸面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL23と両凸形状の正レンズL24の接合正レンズとから構成される。このうち負メニスカスレンズL21と正レンズL22の接合正レンズは、第1合焦レンズ群F1として機能する。
第3レンズ群G3は、開口絞りSと、両凹形状の負レンズL31と、両凸形状の正レンズL32と、第2の副絞りss2とから構成される。
第4レンズ群G4は、物体側に凸面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL41と両凸形状の正レンズL42の接合正レンズと、両凸形状の正レンズL43と物体側に凹面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL44の接合正レンズとから構成される。
第5レンズ群G5は、両凸形状の正レンズL51と両凹形状の負レンズL52の接合正レンズと、物体側に凹面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL53とから構成される。このうち正レンズL51と負レンズL52の接合正レンズは、第2合焦レンズ群F2として機能する。なお、負レンズL52の像側の面と、負メニスカスレンズL53の像側の面が非球面である。
本実施例では、中間レンズ群GAは、第2レンズ群G2内の負メニスカスレンズL23から第4レンズ群G4の負メニスカスレンズL44までのレンズ群であり、第2合焦レンズ群以降のレンズ群GRは、第5レンズ群G5である。

第6レンズ群G6は、両凸形状の正レンズL61と両凹形状の負レンズL62の接合負レンズと、物体側に凹面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL63とから構成される。このうち、正レンズL61と負レンズL62の接合負レンズは、第2合焦レンズ群F2として機能する。なお、負メニスカスレンズL63の両面が非球面である。
本実施例では、中間レンズ群GAは、第3レンズ群G3から第5レンズ群G5までのレンズ群であり、第2合焦レンズ群以降のレンズ群GRは、第6レンズ群G6である。

(実施例6)
実施例6について、図16、図17および表6を用いて説明する。図16は、実施例6に係る光学系OL(1)のレンズ構成を示す図である。光学系OL(1)は、物体側から順に並んだ、負の屈折力を有する第1レンズ群G1と、正の屈折力を有する第2レンズ群G2と、正の屈折力を有する第3レンズ群G3と、第3レンズ群G3内に配置された開口絞りSと、負の屈折力を有する第4レンズ群G4と、正の屈折力を有する第5レンズ群G5とから構成されている。本実施例では、第2レンズ群G2が第1合焦レンズ群F1であり、第4レンズ群G4が第2合焦レンズ群F2であり、第3レンズ群G3が中間レンズ群GAに相当する。
実施例6について、図16、図17および表6を用いて説明する。図16は、実施例6に係る光学系OL(1)のレンズ構成を示す図である。光学系OL(1)は、物体側から順に並んだ、負の屈折力を有する第1レンズ群G1と、正の屈折力を有する第2レンズ群G2と、正の屈折力を有する第3レンズ群G3と、第3レンズ群G3内に配置された開口絞りSと、負の屈折力を有する第4レンズ群G4と、正の屈折力を有する第5レンズ群G5とから構成されている。本実施例では、第2レンズ群G2が第1合焦レンズ群F1であり、第4レンズ群G4が第2合焦レンズ群F2であり、第3レンズ群G3が中間レンズ群GAに相当する。
第1レンズ群G1、第3レンズ群G3および第5レンズ群G5の位置は、ほぼ固定されており、第2レンズ群G2および第4レンズ群G4は、光軸に沿って移動可能に配置されている。無限遠物体から近距離物体への合焦の際には、第2レンズ群G2は像面側に移動し、第4レンズ群G4は物体側に移動する。
第1レンズ群G1は、物体側から順に並んだ、物体側に凸面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL11と、物体側に凸面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL12と、両凹形状の負レンズL13および物体側に凸面を向けた正メニスカスレンズL14の接合負レンズとから構成される。
負メニスカスレンズL12は、ガラス製レンズ本体L12aの像側の面に樹脂層L12bが設けられて構成されるハイブリッド型のレンズである。樹脂層L12bの像側の面が非球面であり、負メニスカスレンズL12は複合型の非球面レンズである。後述の[レンズ諸元]欄において、面番号3がレンズ本体L12aの物体側の面、面番号4がレンズ本体L12aの像側の面および樹脂層12bの物体側の面(両者が接合する面)、面番号5が樹脂層11bの像側の面を示す。
第2レンズ群G2は、両凸形状の正レンズL21から構成される。第3レンズ群G3は、物体側から順に並んだ、両凸形状の正レンズL31と両凹形状の負レンズL32との接合正レンズと、絞りSと、両凹形状の負レンズL33と、両凸形状の正レンズL34と、両凸形状の正レンズL35と物体側に凹面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL36との接合正レンズと、両凸形状の正レンズL37とから構成される。第4レンズ群G4は、両凹形状の負レンズL41から構成される。なお、この負レンズL41の両面が非球面である。第5レンズ群G5は、物体側に凹面を向けた正メニスカスレンズL51から構成される。なお、この正メニスカスレンズL51の両面も非球面である。

(実施例8)
実施例8について、図20、図21および表8を用いて説明する。図20は、実施例8に係る光学系OL(3)のレンズ構成を示す図である。光学系OL(3)は、物体側から順に並んだ、負の屈折力を有する第1レンズ群G1と、正の屈折力を有する第2レンズ群G2と、正の屈折力を有する第3レンズ群G3と、第3レンズ群G3内に配置された開口絞りSと、負の屈折力を有する第4レンズ群G4と、負の屈折力を有する第5レンズ群G5とから構成されている。本実施例では、第2レンズ群G2が第1合焦レンズ群F1であり、第4レンズ群G4が第2合焦レンズ群F2であり、第3レンズ群G3が中間レンズ群GAに相当する。
実施例8について、図20、図21および表8を用いて説明する。図20は、実施例8に係る光学系OL(3)のレンズ構成を示す図である。光学系OL(3)は、物体側から順に並んだ、負の屈折力を有する第1レンズ群G1と、正の屈折力を有する第2レンズ群G2と、正の屈折力を有する第3レンズ群G3と、第3レンズ群G3内に配置された開口絞りSと、負の屈折力を有する第4レンズ群G4と、負の屈折力を有する第5レンズ群G5とから構成されている。本実施例では、第2レンズ群G2が第1合焦レンズ群F1であり、第4レンズ群G4が第2合焦レンズ群F2であり、第3レンズ群G3が中間レンズ群GAに相当する。
第1レンズ群G1、第3レンズ群G3および第5レンズ群G5の位置は、ほぼ固定されており、第2レンズ群G2および第4レンズ群G4は、光軸に沿って移動可能に配置されている。無限遠物体から近距離物体への合焦の際には、第2レンズ群G2は像面側に移動し、第4レンズ群G4は物体側に移動する。
第1レンズ群G1は、物体側から順に並んだ、物体側に凸面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL11と、物体側に凸面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL12と、物体側に凸面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL13と物体側に凸面を向けた正メニスカスレンズL14との接合正レンズとから構成される。
負メニスカスレンズL12は、ガラス製レンズ本体L12aの像側の面に樹脂層L12bが設けられて構成されるハイブリッド型のレンズである。樹脂層L12bの像側の面が非球面であり、負メニスカスレンズL12は複合型の非球面レンズである。後述の[レンズ諸元]欄において、面番号3がレンズ本体L12aの物体側の面、面番号4がレンズ本体L12aの像側の面および樹脂層12bの物体側の面(両者が接合する面)、面番号5が樹脂層11bの像側の面を示す。
第2レンズ群G2は、両凸形状の正レンズL21から構成される。第3レンズ群G3は、物体側から順に並んだ、両凸形状の正レンズL31と両凹形状の負レンズL32との接合正レンズと、絞りSと、両凹形状の負レンズL33と、両凸形状の正レンズL34と、両凸形状の正レンズL35と物体側に凹面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL36との接合正レンズと、両凸形状の正レンズL37とから構成される。第4レンズ群G4は、両凹形状の負レンズL41から構成される。なお、負レンズL41の両面が非球面である。第5レンズ群G5は、物体側に凹面を向けた負メニスカスレンズL51から構成される。なお、負メニスカスレンズL51の両面が非球面である。

なお、本願発明は、上記実施形態に限定されるものではなく、各請求項の記載により特定される光学性能を損なわない範囲で、適宜変更可能である。
例えば、上記実施例では5群、6群、7群構成の光学系を示したが、その他の群構成の光学系(例えば、光学系の最も物体側や最も像面側にレンズ又はレンズ群を追加した構成等)とすることもできる。ここで、レンズ群とは、変倍や合焦時に変化する空気間隔で分離された、少なくとも1枚のレンズを有する部分を示す。
また、開口絞りについては、上記各実施例では第3レンズ群または第4レンズ群に開口絞りを配置しているが、開口絞りとしての部材を設けずにレンズの枠でその役割を代用する形態が考えられる。また、上記各実施例では、1つまたは2つの副絞りが配置されているが、副絞りはなくてもよい。
また、レンズ面は、球面、平面、非球面のいずれを採用してもよい。球面または平面のレンズ面は、レンズ加工及び組立調整が容易になり、レンズ加工および組立調整の誤差による光学性能の劣化を防ぐことができ、さらには像面がずれた場合でも描写性能の劣化が少ないという利点がある。非球面のレンズ面としては、研削加工による非球面、ガラスを型で非球面形状に成型したガラスモールド非球面、またはガラス表面に設けた樹脂を非球面形状に形成した複合型非球面のいずれでもよい。また、レンズ面は回折面としてもよく、レンズを屈折率分布型レンズ(GRINレンズ)或いはプラスチックレンズとしてもよい。各レンズ面には、フレアやゴーストを軽減し、コントラストの高い光学性能を達成するために、広い波長域で高い透過率を有する反射防止膜を施してもよい。

- 光軸上に並んで配置された、先行レンズ群と第1合焦レンズ群と第2合焦レンズ群とを含む複数のレンズ群からなり、
前記先行レンズ群は、前記第1合焦レンズ群よりも物体側に配置され、
前記第2合焦レンズ群は、前記第1合焦レンズ群よりも像面側に配置され、
前記第1合焦レンズ群は、正の屈折力を有し、無限遠物体から近距離物体への合焦の際、光軸に沿って像面側に移動し、
前記第2合焦レンズ群は、負の屈折力を有し、無限遠物体から近距離物体への合焦の際、光軸に沿って物体側に移動し、
前記第1合焦レンズ群と前記第2合焦レンズ群の間に、少なくとも1枚のレンズを含む中間レンズ群を有するように、各レンズ群をレンズ鏡筒内に配置する光学系の製造方法。 - 光軸上に並んで配置された、先行レンズ群と第1合焦レンズ群と第2合焦レンズ群とを含む複数のレンズ群からなり、
前記先行レンズ群は、前記第1合焦レンズ群よりも物体側に配置され、
前記第2合焦レンズ群は、前記第1合焦レンズ群よりも像面側に配置され、
前記先行レンズ群は、合焦に際し像面に対して固定であり、
前記第1合焦レンズ群は、正の屈折力を有し、無限遠物体から近距離物体への合焦の際、光軸に沿って像面側に移動し、
前記第2合焦レンズ群は、負の屈折力を有し、無限遠物体から近距離物体への合焦の際、光軸に沿って物体側に移動し、
