Munition télescopée (1) constituée d'un obus (20) intégré dans une enveloppe (19) fermée par un culot (3), ledit obus (20) comprenant une ogive (4), un corps (2) en matériau lourd suivi d'une cage (10), caractérisée en ce que le corps (2) dudit obus (20) est constitué d'une partie interne (6) et d'une partie externe (7), la partie interne (6) étant de forme tubulaire et présentant des rainures de fragilisation (16) et la partie externe (7) étant disposée en appui autour de la partie interne et étant formée par un empilement de disques (7), chaque disque (7) portant des rainures (17) de fragilisation.

DESCRIPTION
TITRE : Munition télescopée comprenant un obus
DOMAINE DE L' INVENTION
Le secteur technique de la présente invention est celui des munitions télescopées de gros et moyens calibres, notamment les obus et en particulier les obus anti-aériens .
ETAT DE LA TECHNIQUE
Les munitions télescopées sont couramment utilisées dans les équipements militaires depuis de nombreuses années, en particulier pour l' alimentation des canons. Elles ont pour avantage majeur par rapport aux munitions classiques, de présenter un poids réduit pour une même puissance.
Dans le domaine des obus, les munitions télescopées peuvent être notamment des munitions anti-char, des munitions explosives, des munitions d'entraînement ou des munitions anti-aériennes .
Ces munitions sont des projectiles complexes de haute technologie dont la complexité a ' augmenté au cours du temps . Dans le cas particulier des obus anti-aérien connu sous le vocable anglais airburst désignant les obus à fonctionnement chronométrique, le problème principal est de générer un nuage de fragments le plus prévisible possible afin d' avoir un modèle prévisionnel reproductible des résultats envisageables.
Afin de poursuivre cet objectif, de nombreuses architectures de pièces ou de fragments dispersibles ont été imaginées et mises en œuvre au cours du temps, comme par exemple.
Le brevet US-5817969 décrit un obus dont une partie du corps est constitué par des sous-projectiles.
Le brevet DE-3153378 décrit un obus dont le corps est constitué d' un ensemble de disques entre lesquels une poudre métallique est interposée .
Ces deux documents illustrent des configurations particulières dans lesquelles on prévoit d' incorporer initialement des sous-projectiles.
EXPOSE DE L' INVENTION
C' est un objet de l' invention que de proposer une conception d'un obus anti-aérien airburst présentant une dispersion efficace et prévisible des débris .
L' architecture de la présente munition donne à l'obus un nuage de projectiles dont les dimensions et la dispersion suite à l' explosion de la charge, sont prévisibles et reproductibles en tenant compte des marges d' erreur inévitables .
L' invention a donc pour objet une munition télescopée constituée d'un obus intégré dans une enveloppe fermée par un culot, ledit obus comprenant une ogive, un corps en matériau lourd suivi d'une cage, le corps dudit obus étant constitué d'une partie interne et d'une partie externe, la partie interne étant de forme tubulaire et présentant des rainures de fragilisation et la partie externe étant disposée en appui autour de la partie interne et étant formée par un empilement de disques, chaque disque portant des rainures de fragilisation.
Selon une caractéristique de la munition télescopée, les rainures de fragilisation de la partie interne sont pratiquées longitudinalement de l'extérieur vers l' intérieur et les rainures de la partie externe sont pratiquées longitudinalement de l' intérieur vers l' extérieur.
Selon une autre caractéristique de la munition télescopée, la partie externe présente une longueur inférieure à celle de la partie interne.
Selon encore une autre caractéristique de la munition télescopée, le matériau lourd constituant le corps est du tungstène. Selon encore une autre caractéristique de la munition télescopée, l'ogive est disposée en appui sur la partie interne du corps et la cage est disposée en appui sur la partie interne, ladite cage renfermant une fusée chronométrique .
Selon encore une autre caractéristique de la munition télescopée, le profil externe de la partie externe est en alignement avec celui de l'ogive et de la cage.
Selon encore une autre caractéristique de la munition
télescopée, la partie interne est munie à l' avant d'un usinage externe de réception de l'ogive et à l' arrière d'un alésage interne pour l' insertion d'un initiateur pyrotechnique.
Selon encore une autre caractéristique de la munition télescopée, la partie interne est munie à l'avant d'un bouchon.
Selon encore une autre caractéristique de la munition télescopée, l' enveloppe est constituée de trois sabots réunis par au moins un moyen de fixation fragilisé.
Selon encore une autre caractéristique de la munition télescopée, le moyen de fixation est constitué par un anneau de maintien.
Selon encore une autre caractéristique de la munition télescopée, cette dernière est un obus anti-aérien sous- calibré fonctionnant airburst.
Un avantage de la munition selon l' invention réside dans le fait que l'obus se présente sous la forme d'une pièce massive parfaitement stable balistiquement et ne comprend aucun sous-projectile.
Un autre avantage de la munition selon l' invention réside dans la simplicité de réalisation en associant à cette pièce massive une ogive et une pièce arrière lui conférant un profil balistique sans autre intervention.
Un autre avantage encore de la présente invention réside dans le fait que l'obus est stable sur sa trajectoire après le tir.
Un autre avantage encore de la présente invention réside dans le fait que l'obus peut être facilement intégré dans son enveloppe sans intervention complexe .
Le projectile ne s'encombre pas d'un corps structurant d'emport du chargement de pellet. Le ratio entre masse utile et masse totale est donc optimisé.

-la figure 3 est une vue en perspective du corps central de la munition selon l'invention.
DESCRIPTION DETAILLEE DE MODES DE REALISATION DE L' INVENTION
La figure 1 représente un premier mode de réalisation de la munition télescopée 1 selon l'invention.
On voit que cette munition 1 est constituée d'un obus 20 comprenant un corps 2, un culot 3 et une ogive 4, l'ensemble étant incorporé dans une enveloppe 19 ou sabot constituée classiquement de trois parties 5.
Le corps 2 est constitué d' une partie interne 6 tubulaire et d'une partie externe 7. Cette partie interne 6 se présente sous la forme d'une pièce tubulaire renfermant une composition explosive 15. La partie interne 6 est fermée vers l'avant par un bouchon 8, fixé dans un alésage interne 22 pratiqué au niveau de son extrémité avant, et vers l'arrière par un initiateur pyrotechnique 9, vissé dans un alésage interne 23 pratiqué au niveau de son extrémité arrière. Cette partie interne 6 est également munie sur sa circonférence externe de fragilisations sous la forme de rainures de fragilisation 16 pratiquées de l'extérieur vers l'intérieur.
La composition explosive 15 est une charge pyrotechnique destinée à exploser en vol pour ainsi provoquer la dislocation des parties interne et externe de l' obus comme cela sera expliqué ci-après.
La partie externe 7 est constituée de disques 7 enfilés autour de la partie interne 6. Les disques portent sur leur surface interne des rainures longitudinales de fragilisation visibles sur la figure 3. Ces disques 7 sont maintenus en position à l'avant par l'ogive 4 et à l'arrière par la cage 10. L'ogive et la cage sont montées à force avec un certain serrage sur les usinages externes 21 et 24 pratiqués respectivement au niveau des extrémités avant et arrière de la partie interne 6. Ainsi, l'ogive 4 est en appui contre le
premier disque 7 et la cage 10 est en appui contre le dernier disque 7.
La cage 10 est de forme sensiblement cylindrique et contient une fusée chronométrique 11 fixée dans l' alignement de l' initiateur pyrotechnique 9 qui est destiné à initier au bout d'un certain délai la composition explosive 15.
Les sabots 5 sont maintenus classiquement ensemble à l' arrière par un anneau de maintien 12 fragilisé et à l' avant par une ceinture dérapante 14, tous deux destinés à se briser à la sortie du tube de lancement.
Sur la. figure 2, on a représenté en coupe longitudinale un autre mode de réalisation de la munition 1. La structure d' ensemble est la même que dans le mode de réalisation représenté sur la figure 1, et les mêmes références désignent les mêmes éléments .
Dans ce mode de réalisation, on voit que le culot 3 présente une structure différente en ce qu' il comporte une lèvre 18 coiffant la cage et venant en appui étroit avec l'enveloppe 19.
Sur la figure 3, on a représenté une vue en perspective du corps 2 de la munition 1. On y voit la partie interne 6 tubulaire munie de ses rainures longitudinales 16 externes .
On voit également la partie externe 7 enfilée autour de la partie interne 6, constituée des disques 7, ici 7a à 7g. Les disques 7 portent au niveau de leurs parois internes des rainures de fragilisation longitudinales 17.
Le fonctionnement de la munition télescopée 1 est le suivant .
Lors du tir, la munition 1 est lancée et à la sortie du canon, l' entrée de l' air dans l'extrémité avant en entonnoir des sabots 5 soumet le moyen de fixation fragilisé 12 à une tension qui provoque sa cassure et libère donc l'obus 2 de l'enveloppe formée par les trois sabots 5.
L'obus contient une fusée chronométrique 11 qui est initiée et dont le fonctionnement est programmé pour amorcer au bout d'un certain délai la composition 15. Le déclenchement de la fusée chronométrique 11 contenue dans la cage 10 met à feu l'initiateur pyrotechnique 9 qui provoque la détonation de
la composition explosive 15. 1/ explosion consécutive provoque la dislocation du corps 2 en une gerbe de fragments à très grande vitesse. Etant donné qu'il s'agit de fragments lourds, la capacité de destruction des cibles visées est très grande .
La munition 1 étant un obus anti-aérien, le nuage de fragments est particulièrement efficace pour détruire une munition en vol. Cependant la structure originale de la munition 1 selon l' invention permet une production de fragments de tailles et formes prédéterminées, affectant donc une dispersion prévisible et reproductible.
On comprend bien que la munition 1 décrite permet un éclatement du corps 2 constitué des parties interne 6 et externe 7 en fragments réguliers de formes prédéterminées par les lignes de fragilisation 16 et 17. Ainsi la munition 1 présente un effet prévisible et constant de formation d'un nuage de fragments assurant une destruction plus facilement extrapolable de la cible visée.
En outre, l' utilisation d'une munition télescopée permet de réduire le poids de la munition sans réduire sa portée, ce qui constitue un avantage connu des munitions télescopées . Enfin, le fait de prévoir un corps massif permet de mieux maîtriser la balistique du projectile et donc d' augmenter la fiabilité de fonctionnement et la précision du tir.
Claims
1. Munition télescopée (1) constituée d'un obus (20) intégré dans une enveloppe (19) fermée par un culot (3) , ledit obus (20) comprenant une ogive (4), un corps (2) en matériau lourd suivi d'une cage (10) , caractérisée en ce que le corps (2) dudit obus (20) est constitué d'une partie interne (6) et d'une partie externe (7) , la partie interne (6) étant de forme tubulaire et présentant des rainures de fragilisation (16) et la partie externe (7) étant disposée en appui autour de la partie interne et étant formée par un empilement de disques (7) , chaque disque (7) portant des rainures (17) de fragilisation.

Munition télescopée (1) selon la revendication 1, caractérisée en ce que les rainures de fragilisation (16) de la partie interne (6) sont pratiquées longitudinalement de l' extérieur vers l' intérieur et les rainures (17) de la partie externe (7) sont pratiquées longitudinalement de l' intérieur vers l' extérieur.
3. Munition télescopée (1) selon la revendication 1 ou 2, caractérisée en ce que la partie externe (7) présente une longueur inférieure à celle de la partie interne (6) .
4 . Munition télescopée (1) selon la revendication 1, 2 ou 3, caractérisée en ce que le matériau lourd constituant le corps (2) est constitué par du tungstène.

Munition télescopée (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en ce que l'ogive (4) est disposée en appui sur la partie interne (6) du corps (2) et en ce que la cage (10) est disposée en appui sur la partie interne (6) ladite cage (10) renfermant une fusée chronométrique (11) .
6. Munition télescopée (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en ce que le profil externe de la partie externe (7) est en alignement avec celui de l'ogive (4) et de la cage (10).
7. Munition télescopée (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en ce que la partie interne (6) est munie à l'avant d'un usinage externe (21) de
réception de l'ogive (4) et à l'arrière d'un alésage interne (22) pour l' insertion d'un initiateur pyrotechnique (9) .
8. Munition télescopée (1) selon la revendication 7, caractérisée en ce que la partie interne (6) est munie à l'avant d'un bouchon (8).
9. Munition télescopée (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en ce que l' enveloppe (19) est constituée de trois sabots (5) réunis par au moins un moyen de fixation fragilisé (12) .
10. Munition télescopée (1) selon la revendication 6, caractérisée en ce que le moyen de fixation (12) est constitué par un anneau de maintien.
II. Munition télescopée (1) selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, caractérisée en ce que la dite munition est un obus anti-aérien sous-calibré du type airburst.
