Abstract

Une machine de fabrication de sous-unités (20) d'articles à fumer comprend un transporteur (11), une unité d'alimentation (12), des moyens de coupe (13) et au moins un applicateur rotatif (14). Le transporteur (11) est conçu pour alimenter une succession de segments tubulaires (21) de l'industrie du tabac. L'unité d'alimentation (12) est conçue pour fournir et transporter au moins une bande continue (N). Les moyens de coupe (13) sont conçus pour séparer une succession d'éléments de fermeture (22) d'une extrémité avant de la bande continue (N). L'applicateur rotatif (14) est associé fonctionnellement au transporteur (11) et est conçu pour saisir la succession d'éléments de fermeture (22) et pour les appliquer, de préférence par collage, à une extrémité d'application d'un segment tubulaire respectif (21), de manière à former des parois de fermeture pour fermer au moins partiellement les extrémités d'application.
