 腰部支持部20は、患者の体軸方向(起立状態での上下方向)および体幅方向(起立状態での左右方向)にそれぞれ分割されてマトリクス状に配置された平面視矩形状の4つの分割部材21を備えている。分割部材21は、体軸方向および体幅方向の双方に分割されていれば、その個数は特に限定されない。また、各分割部材21は、患者の腰部を全体で支持できるように配置されていればよく、マトリクス状以外に、千鳥状など他の配置であってもよい。
 図2は、図1のA-A断面図である。図2に示すように、複数の分割部材21は、天板11に形成された貫通孔11aから上部が突出するように、支持体30に支持されている。支持体30は、複数の分割部材21を個別に上下動可能に支持する複数のリフト装置31と、各リフト装置31により上昇した分割部材21をそれぞれ所定高さの保持位置に保持する保持機構40とを備えている。リフト装置31および保持機構40は、台本体10の内部に水平に配置された2つの台板12,13にそれぞれ支持されている。
 リフト装置31は、エアシリンダ等の流体圧シリンダから構成されており、ロッド31aの上端が分割部材21の下面に接離可能に当接する。リフト装置31は、ジャッキやチェーンブロックなど、分割部材21を上昇可能な他の装置であってもよく、その駆動方式は、手動式の他、油圧式や電動式などにより自動式にすることも可能である。分割部材21には段部21aが形成されており、段部21aが天板11の貫通孔11aの周縁部に当接することにより、リフト装置31の作動による分割部材21の過度の上昇が規制される。
 図3は、図2に示す分割部材21の一方を拡大した断面図である。図3に示すように、保持機構40は、支持体30の縁部が摺動するように台板13から起立する起立壁41と、起立壁41に形成された収容部41aに収容された係合片42とを備えている。
 係合片42は、断面円弧状の先端部が、バネ等からなる弾性部材43の付勢力により水平方向に突出するように配置されて、分割部材21の側壁に形成された断面円弧状の係合凹部21bと係合することにより、分割部材21を保持することができる。分割部材21に対する係合片42の押圧力は、調整ねじ44の進退により適宜調整することができる。係合片42を弾性部材43の付勢力により分割部材21に係合する具体的な構成は特に限定されるものではなく、例えば、市販のインデックスプランジャを使用してもよい。
 係合片42は、本実施形態では分割部材21の矩形状の各辺に対応してそれぞれ設けられているが、分割部材21を保持可能な配置であればよく、例えば、分割部材21の互いに対向する縁部と係合するように一または複数の係合片42を配置してもよい。
 分割部材21の係合凹部21bは、高さ方向に沿って複数形成されており、係合片42が係合する係合凹部21bを選択することにより、高さを変えて分割部材21を保持することができる。係合片42は、必ずしも係合凹部21bに係合する必要はなく、例えば、分割部材21の下面や突起部などと係合する構成であってもよい。
 上記の構成を備える治療台1によれば、患者が横たわった状態で、図3に示すように、リフト装置のロッド31aにより分割部材21を下方から持ち上げた状態から、図4(a)に示すようにロッド31aを降下させることにより、係合片42をいずれかの係合凹部21bに係合させて、分割部材21を所定の高さに保持することができる。この後、患者の腰部を瞬間的に圧迫して、分割部材21に下方への衝撃力が作用すると、図4(b)に示すように、係合片42が弾性部材43の付勢力に抗して移動し、係合片42と分割部材21との係合が解除されて分割部材21が台板13に落下する。こうして、患者を圧迫する力、および分割部材21の落下高さに応じた力を、患者の腰部に作用させることができる。
 本実施形態の治療台1は、胸部支持部3と脚部支持部4との間に配置されて患者の腰部を支持する腰部支持部20が、患者の体軸方向および体幅方向にそれぞれ分割された分割部材21を備えており、各分割部材21が個別に上下動可能に支持されているため、患者の腰部に作用する衝撃力が、従来のように、体軸方向の各位置において上下方向(体厚方向)に二次元的に作用するのではなく、これに体幅方向を加えた三次元的に作用する。したがって、落下させる分割部材21を、体軸方向および体幅方向の双方で適宜選択することにより、治療のバリエーションを高めて、左右の仙腸関節のずれ等を効果的に矯正することができる。
 また、本実施形態のように、係合片42を係合させる係合凹部21bを高さ方向に複数形成する等して、各分割部材21の落下高さを選択可能に構成することにより、各分割部材21の落下に伴う衝撃力を個別に設定することができるので、所望の治療をより容易に行うことができる。分割部材21の落下高さの設定は、図4(a)に示すロッド31aを台板13の上方に突出させた状態に保持し、このロッド31aの突出高さを調整して行うことも可能であり、あるいは、これを複数の係合凹部21bの選択と併用してもよい。分割部材21の落下高さは特に制限されないが、約10mm~30mmの範囲に設定することが可能であり、例えば、落下高さを2段階に設定する場合には、15mmおよび30mmのいずれかを選択可能に構成することが好ましい。
 頭部支持部2、胸部支持部3および脚部支持部4についても、腰部支持部20と同様に、患者の体軸方向および体幅方向にそれぞれ分割されて個別に上下動可能な複数の分割部材を備える構成にすることもできる。

Claims (3)

  1.  患者が横たわった状態で胸部および脚部をそれぞれ支持する胸部支持部と脚部支持部との間に、腰部を支持する腰部支持部を備える治療台であって、
     前記腰部支持部は、患者の体軸方向および体幅方向にそれぞれ分割された複数の分割部材と、前記分割部材を個別に上下動可能に支持する支持体とを備える治療台。
  2.  前記支持体は、前記分割部材を上昇させるリフト手段と、上昇した前記分割部材を所定の落下高さに保持する保持手段とを備え、
     前記保持手段は、弾性部材の付勢力により前記分割部材に係合する係合片を備えており、
     前記保持手段に保持された前記分割部材に上方からの衝撃力が作用すると、前記係合片と前記分割部材との係合が解除されて前記分割部材が落下する請求項1に記載の治療台。
  3.  前記保持手段は、前記分割部材の落下高さを複数から選択可能に構成された請求項2に記載の治療台。
