Abstract

A coke dry quenching method in a CDQ equipment is provided. The coke dry quenching method of the present invention burns remaining gas to be generated after charging red-hot coke in a prechamber at the upper part of CDQ equipment, and then blows a cooling gas at the red-hot coke, which has been transferred to a cooling chamber at the lower part thereof, thereby recovering sensible heat and cooling same, and in order to burn the remaining gas to be generated after charging the red-hot coke, high-temperature COG, which leaks from the carbonization chamber of a coke oven, is collected and used as a combustion gas.
