Description

Jig for surfboard
The present invention relates to a surfboard jig.
The surfboard used for surfing is provided with one or more fins on the bottom surface. A general fin has a sharp protruding shape and has a cross section having an edge. Therefore, when transporting a surfboard, it is necessary to consider safety around the surfboard.
In order to transport a surfboard safely, Japanese Unexamined Utility Model Publication No. 03-1000059 (Patent Document 1) discloses a surfboard cover in which a gap is provided inside a cover at the rear of a flat bag-shaped cover. . However, since the surfboard cover of Patent Literature 1 covers the entire surfboard, it takes much time and effort for the user to attach and detach the cover.
By the way, the fins of the surfboard are usually configured to be replaceable, and fins having various characteristics can be attached according to the skill and preference of the user. On the other hand, when replacing the fins, the edges of the fins may damage the hand of the worker.
In this regard, there is known a cover in which the surfboard can be transported safely by putting a cover only on the fin of the surfboard, and the fin can be attached and detached without injuring the hand (http: //www.cap- j.com/item_detail/itemId,168/ (Non-Patent Document 1), accessed on January 7, 2019).
However, the cover disclosed in Non-Patent Document 1 is a bag-shaped cover made of a thin material, and is not a cover having a sufficient thickness. Therefore, the fins are difficult to grasp when attaching and detaching, which is insufficient from the viewpoint of reducing pain in the hands and handling the fins. Therefore, there has been a demand for a surfboard jig that has further improved the convenience for the user.
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems in the related art, and has an object to provide a jig that can safely and easily handle a detachable fin for a surfboard.

Hereinafter, the present invention will be described with reference to embodiments, but the present invention is not limited to the embodiments described below. In each of the drawings referred to below, the same reference numerals are used for common elements, and the description thereof will be omitted as appropriate. In the following description, the jig according to the embodiment of the present invention is referred to as a “fin cover”, but may be referred to as a “fin tool” or the like.
FIG. 1 is a view showing the structure of a typical surfboard 100. As shown in FIG. FIG. 1A shows a bottom surface of the surfboard 100, and FIG. 1B shows a side surface of the surfboard 100. FIG. 1C is a side view showing an example of the structure of the fin 200.
The surfboard 100 has one or more fins 200 on the bottom surface. The fin 200 has various characteristics according to the skill, preference, body shape, environment and conditions of surfing of the user. For this reason, the surfboard 100 generally has a configuration in which the fins 200 can be exchanged, and the user can enjoy various types of sliding by selecting the number and shape of the fins 200 and exchanging them.
Next, the shape of the fin 200 will be described. An example of a side view of the fin 200 is shown in FIG. The shape of the fin 200 is generally as follows, although there are differences in width, height, thickness, angle, and the like depending on the characteristics. That is, the general fin 200 has a projection shape having two curved ridges when viewed from the side, and has a shape having an edge in a cross section. The fin 200 has a mounting portion 201 for mounting to the surfboard 100, and has a structure in which the mounting portion 201 is fitted into a fin box.
着脱式フィンの規格の一例としては、FCS(Fin Control System)2などが挙げられる。 The shape of the detachable fin 200 is determined by a standard. An example of the standard of the detachable fin is FCS (Fin Control System) 2 or the like. In the FCS 2, the fin 200 is fixed to the surfboard 100 by fitting the mounting portion 201 of the fin 200 and a fin box (not shown) of the surfboard 100. Since the surfboard 100 and the fins 200 are not fixed with screws or the like, no tools are required, and fins can be replaced manually.
In the meantime, when the fins 200 are manually replaced, it is necessary to hold the fins 200 in order to disengage the fins 200 from the surfboard 100. Some fins 200 have a sharp edge-shaped cross section for the purpose of sliding on a wavefront. In the case of the fin 200 having such a shape, the hand is easily damaged when grasped, and it is difficult to apply a force, so that the efficiency of the replacing operation is reduced.
Therefore, the fin cover 10 of the present embodiment has a shape that allows the fin 200 to be handled safely and easily. FIG. 2 is a diagram illustrating the structure of the fin cover 10 of the present embodiment, and FIG. 2A is a perspective view of the fin cover 10. From the viewpoint of safely handling the surfboard 100, it is preferable that the end of the fin cover 10 of the present embodiment has a rounded shape formed by a curved line.
FIG. 2B is a cross-sectional view of the fin cover 10 taken along a plane perpendicular to the arrow A in FIG. FIG. 2C is a plan view of the fin cover 10 as viewed from the direction of arrow B in FIG. 2A. Note that the light-colored areas in FIGS. 2B and 2C indicate cavities.
2) As shown in FIGS. 2B and 2C, the fin cover 10 of the present embodiment has a hollow inside, and has a structure in which the fin 200 is inserted into the hollow portion 11. The cavity 11 is provided with an opening 11a opened to the surfboard 100 side. Although the shape of the hollow portion 11 is not particularly limited, it may correspond to the general shape of the fin 200 as shown in FIG. In particular, when the fin 200 is housed, the cavity 11 and the fin 200 come into contact with each other, so that the fin cover 10 and the fin 200 can be integrally displaced when the fin 200 is attached or detached.
The fin cover 10 of the present embodiment includes a grip portion 12 for a user performing the work of attaching and detaching the fin 200 to grip. Although the shape of the grip portion 12 is not particularly limited, as shown in FIG. 2 as an example, the grip portion 12 can be formed into a shape composed of a plurality of irregularities on which a user's finger easily catches. In addition, it is preferable that the cross-sectional shape of the portion of the grip portion 12 where the finger or palm comes into contact is a round shape. With such a shape, it is possible to easily grip the fin 200 when attaching and detaching the fin 200, and it is possible to reduce pain of the hand.
The material of the fin cover 10 of the present embodiment is not particularly limited, but it is preferable to use a flexible material such as rubber, synthetic resin (plastic), or silicone. In addition, by forming the gripping portion 12 by giving these materials a sufficient thickness, it is possible to easily apply force when attaching and detaching the fins 200, and further, it is possible to reduce hand pain due to the edges of the fins 200.
FIG. 3 is a diagram illustrating the fin cover 10 mounted on the fin 200 in the present embodiment. FIG. 3A is a side view illustrating a state in which the fin cover 10 of the present embodiment is mounted on the fin 200. In FIG. 3A, the mounting portion 201 of the fin 200 is inserted into the fin box of the surfboard 100 and fitted. The fin cover 10 is attached to the fin 200 by inserting the fin 200 through the opening 11 a and storing the fin 200 in the cavity 11. By attaching the fin cover 10 to the fin 200 in this manner, the edge and the protruding end of the fin 200 are not exposed to the outside, and the surfboard 100 can be handled safely.
FIG. 3B shows an example in which the fin 200 is detached from the surfboard 100 using the fin cover 10 of the present embodiment. The user of the fin cover 10, which is the worker who attaches and detaches the fins 200, grasps the grip portion 12 of the fin cover 10 and pulls in the direction of the arrow in FIG. Since the cavity 11 corresponds to the shape of the fin 200, when the fin cover 10 is attached to the fin 200, the fin 200 and the cavity 11 come into contact with each other. Therefore, the user can displace the fin 200 integrally with the grip part 12 by displacing the grip part 12. Thereby, the fitting between the mounting portion 201 and the fin box can be released.
Also, when attaching the fin 200 to the surfboard 100, the user can attach the fin 200 by displacing the fin cover 10 and the fin 200 integrally while gripping the grip portion 12.
According to the fin cover 10 of the present embodiment, the user can perform the attachment / detachment work of the fin 200 without touching the edge of the fin 200. Even when the fins 200 are not attached or detached, the surfboard 100 can be safely transported or stored by attaching the fin cover 10 of the present embodiment.
So far, the fin cover 10 according to the present embodiment has been described. However, the fin cover 10 of the present embodiment is not limited to the embodiment described above. Hereinafter, an example in which the fin cover 10 described above is modified will be described. 4 and 5 are views showing a modification of the fin cover 10 of the present embodiment.
(Modification 1)
FIG. 4A shows a first modification of the fin cover 10 of the present embodiment. In the first modification, the fin cover 10 is lightened by opening the holes 13 of the fin cover 10. In particular, by opening the holes 13 on the side surfaces of the fin cover 10, the weight of the fin cover 10 can be reduced without impairing functions such as grip and ease of attachment and detachment.
By providing the holes 13 on the side surface of the fin cover 10, for example, when the fin cover 10 is molded, the molded fin cover 10 can be easily removed from the mold. In addition, the method of manufacturing the fin cover 10 may be a method other than molding, and is not particularly limited.
(Modification 2)
FIG. 4B shows a second modification of the fin cover 10 of the present embodiment. In the second modification, the entire length of the fin cover 10 is extended, and a grip portion 12 is provided near the tip of the fin cover 10. As described above, the leverage principle can be used by projecting the grip portion 12 from the tip of the fin 200 in the direction opposite to the surfboard 100. Therefore, since the force required for attachment and detachment can be reduced in addition to the improvement of the gripping property, the attachment and detachment of the fin 200 can be performed more easily.
In addition, in the second modified example, similarly to the first modified example, the hole 13 may be provided on the side surface of the fin cover 10.
(Modification 3)
FIG. 5 shows a third modification of the fin cover 10 of the present embodiment. In the third modification, the fin cover 10 is configured to include an opening 11a having a recess 11b in which the opening 11a is recessed toward the cavity 11 when viewed from the side. As shown in FIG. 5, the fin cover 10 includes the concave portion 11b, so that when attaching and detaching the fin 200, both ends of the concave portion 11b can be used as levers. Thereby, the contact between the fin cover 10 and the fin 200 can be stabilized, and the fin 200 can be more easily attached and detached. In addition, since the fin cover 10 includes the concave portion 11b, the material used can be saved, and the fin cover 10 can be reduced in weight.
Further, in FIG. 5, similarly to the second modification, the grip portion 12 is configured to protrude. However, in the third embodiment, the bent portion 12 a is provided on the palm side ridge line of the grip portion 12. It may be. By providing the bent portion 12a as shown in FIG. 5, the width of the grip portion 12 can be reduced toward the end. As described above, by narrowing the width of the grip portion 12 extending from the tip of the fin 200, when the user grips the grip portion 12, the user can easily grasp the finger and the palm close to each other. Can easily apply force.
Note that FIG. 5 illustrates a structure in which the bent portion 12a is provided on the palm side of the grip portion 12, but is not particularly limited. Therefore, a structure in which the bending portion 12a is provided on the finger side of the grip portion 12 or a structure in which the bending portion 12a is provided on both the palm side and the finger side may be used.
Also, in the second modified example, similarly to the first modified example, a hole 13 may be provided on the side surface of the fin cover 10.
The fin cover 10 described so far can be easily gripped and exerted force, so that the fins 200 can be easily attached and detached. Further, even when the fin 200 is not attached or detached, for example, when the surfboard 100 is stored or transported, by attaching the fin cover 10 of the present embodiment, it is possible to prevent an injury or an accident due to the contact of the fin 200.
According to the embodiment of the present invention described above, a jig capable of safely and easily handling a detachable fin for a surfboard can be provided.
As described above, the present invention has been described with the embodiment.
