Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a spool case for storing and holding a bonding wire used for connecting an electrode of a semiconductor element and an external lead.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, bonding wires are wound and wound around a cylindrical spool in multiple layers, and are transferred and stored in a state of being housed in a spool case. On the other hand, at the time of wire bonding, the bonding wire is taken out from the spool case by hand.
[0003]
Such a spool case includes, for example, a container body 1 and a lid 2 formed by molding plastic as disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 54-103747 and as shown in FIG. By fitting the peripheral wall portion 5 of the lid 2 to the protruding outer edge portion 3 of the container body 1, a bonding wire (not shown) wound around the spool is accommodated and held in an almost airtight state. ing.
[0004]
Specifically, as shown in FIG. 6, the container body 1 is formed by molding a single plastic sheet, and includes a substantially square bottom plate portion 4 and a protruding outer edge portion 3 formed so as to protrude thereon. And a spool holding portion 6a for fitting and holding the one end opening of the spool is formed at the substantially central portion of the bottom plate portion 4 so as to be raised.
[0005]
In addition, a spool holding portion 6b having a smaller diameter than the spool holding portion 6a of the bottom plate portion 4 is provided inside the ceiling portion of the lid body 2, and the other end opening portion of the spool fitted and held in the protruding outer edge portion 3 is inserted. Thus, the spool is held by the spool holding portion 6a of the bottom plate portion 4 when the lid 2 is opened so that the spool does not come off or rattle. Further, a part of the protruding outer edge portion 3 has an arc shape, and the portion of the bottom plate portion 4 protruding outward in the vicinity thereof is holding pieces 4a and 4a for holding by the fingertips.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
When the spool case is opened and the spool is taken out, while holding the holding pieces 4a and 4a of the container body 1 with one hand, the other hand holds the lid 2 and pulls them apart. It was. However, since the container body 1 and the lid body 2 are fitted and fixed in an almost airtight state, it is not easy to separate, and requires a strong force, and the spool pops out by the reaction when the lid body 2 is opened. Although rarely, the wound bonding wire was damaged.
[0007]
In particular, since the case main body and the lid are made of plastic, the finished dimensions at the time of molding vary, and the dimensions are likely to change depending on the combination of the container main body and the lid due to wear, alteration, deformation, deterioration due to repeated use. Therefore, the fitting force or locking force between the container main body and the lid body is not constant, and the reaction at the time of removing the lid body becomes large, and the spool may jump out and fall off.
[0008]
Further, as shown in FIG. 7, the container body 1 is gripped around the holding pieces 4 a and 4 a at both ends, whereas the lid body 2 normally grips the central portion thereof, so that the lid body 2 In many cases, the container is not pulled vertically upward with respect to the container body 1 but is tilted at an angle. When the lid body 2 is pulled obliquely away from the container body 1 in this way, the lower end edge of the lid body 2 comes into contact with a bonding wire (not shown) wound around the spool 10 held by the container body 1, There was a problem that the surface was easily damaged.
[0009]
Since the spool case is made of a plastic that is relatively easily deformed, the peripheral wall portion 5 of the lid body 2 slightly above the protruding outer edge portion 3 in the fitted state is pushed and deformed by a finger so that the lid body 2 can be slid. They have also been pulled apart. However, this method is not a desirable method because there is a risk of accidentally damaging the bonding wire housed inside if the lid 2 is pressed too hard.
[0010]
Furthermore, the operation of pulling away the lid 2 in the oblique direction and the operation of pushing and pulling away the peripheral wall 5 of the lid 2 exert an unreasonable force on the projecting outer edge 3 and the peripheral wall 5. There were also problems such as easy shortening of the life of the body 2 and shortening the period of repeated use.
[0011]
In view of such a conventional situation, the present invention does not require a strong force when opening and removing the lid from the container body, and the lid can be easily pulled up substantially vertically upward. It is an object of the present invention to provide a spool case that can be safely taken out without damaging the held bonding wire.
[0012]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
To achieve the above object, the present invention provides a bonding wire spool case comprising a plastic container main body and a lid, and storing and holding a cylindrical spool around which a bonding wire is wound. The container main body includes a spool holding portion that fits and holds at least one end opening of the spool, and a protruding outer edge portion provided outside the spool holding portion, and the lid body is detachable from the protruding outer edge portion of the container main body. And has at least two notch portions for finger contact at the time of opening lower than the height of the protruding outer edge portion of the container body at the lower end edge of the peripheral wall portion, and the protruding outer edge portion of the container body The part corresponding to the notch part of the peripheral wall part of the lid body is a grip part protruding outward from the other part .
[0013]
In the bonding wire spool case of the present invention, a portion corresponding to the cutout portion of the peripheral wall portion of the lid body in the protruding outer edge portion of the container body is colored so as to be distinguishable from other portions. .
[0014]
In the bonding wire spool case of the present invention, the cutout portion provided in the peripheral wall portion of the lid body has a width of 20 mm or more, a height of 20 mm or more, and a protruding outer edge portion of the container body. It is characterized by not exceeding the height.
[0015]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The spool case of the present invention comprises a plastic container body and a lid, and the basic structure thereof is the same as in the prior art. That is, for example, the container body 11 and the lid body 12 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 are formed by heat compression molding a plastic sheet, and the container body 11 has a spool holding for fitting and holding at least one end opening of the spool. A part 16a and a protruding outer edge part 13 are formed on the outside of the spool holding part 16a so as to protrude from the bottom plate part 14, respectively. On the other hand, the lid body 12 includes a peripheral wall portion 15 and is detachably fitted to the protruding outer edge portion 13 of the container body 11.
[0016]
In the illustrated example, a spool holding portion 16b having a diameter smaller than that of the spool holding portion 16a of the bottom plate portion 14 is provided on the ceiling portion of the lid body 12 in order to insert the other end opening of the spool. If the ceiling portion of the cover is in contact with or very close to the other end of the spool, that is, if the height of the peripheral wall portion 15 is set to be substantially the same as the height of the spool, the spool 12 does not have to be provided with the spool holding portion 16b. It is possible to prevent the spool from rattling or coming off from the spool holding portion 16b. The container body and the lid can be formed by a method other than heat compression molding, for example, injection molding.
[0017]
In the spool case of the present invention, at least two notch portions 17 for finger contact at the time of opening are provided at the lower end edge of the peripheral wall portion 15 of the lid body 12. The height (cut depth) of these notches 17 is lower than the height of the protruding outer edge 13 of the container body 11 in order to maintain an airtight state in the case. Moreover, the number of the notch parts 17 provided in the surrounding wall part 15 shall be two or more so that a finger may be held and grasped at the time of opening. The position to which the cutout portion 17 is directed may be as long as it is easy to touch with a finger. For example, in the case of the two cutout portions 17, it is preferable that the cutout portion 17 is disposed at a position substantially opposite to each other so that the thumb and the middle finger can be easily applied.
[0018]
When the peripheral wall portion 15 of the lid body 12 is fitted to the protruding outer edge portion 13 of the container body 11, a part of the protruding outer edge portion 13 of the container body 11 is not covered with the lid body 12 as shown in FIG. 2. , Exposed from the notch 17 of the lid 12. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 3, at the time of opening, while holding the lid 12 with the finger of one hand against the protruding outer edge 13 exposed from the notch 17 of the lid 12, the other hand holds the lid 12 and holds each other. If pulled apart, the case 12 can be opened by easily separating the lid 12 in the substantially vertical direction.
[0019]
In addition, the case where the lid 12 is fitted to the container main body 11 is maintained in an almost airtight state, but the airtight state is released by pushing the protruding outer edge portion 13 exposed from the notch portion 17 inward with a finger. The lid 12 can be pulled away more easily. Moreover, the protruding outer edge portion 13 has a double structure formed by molding one plastic sheet and has a relatively large thickness. Therefore, there is no danger of contact with the bonding wire and damage even if it is distorted by being pushed inward. In addition, if the notch groove is provided on the upper end side of the protruding outer edge portion 13, the lid body 12 can be separated more easily, but attention should be paid to its shape and position so that the airtight state of the case itself is not impaired by the notch groove. And need to be molded.
[0020]
The size of the notch 17 provided in the peripheral wall portion 15 of the lid 12 needs to be large enough to at least hold the protruding outer edge 13 exposed from the notch 17 with the fingertip. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 1A, the lateral width w of the notch 17 is preferably 20 mm or more, and the height h of the notch 17 is preferably 20 mm or more. Further, when the two notches 17 are provided, the positions where the notches 17 face each other across the central axis of the lid 12 are not inclined when the lid 12 is pulled apart, and are easily pulled up in the vertical direction. Therefore it is desirable.
[0021]
However, if the height h of the notch portion 17 is higher than the height of the protruding outer edge portion 13 of the container body 11, the airtight state in the spool case cannot be maintained, and dust or the like adheres to the bonding wire housed inside. become. Therefore, it is necessary to increase the height of the protruding outer edge portion 13 in accordance with the required height of the notch portion 17 so as to reliably maintain the airtight state inside the spool case. In addition, the shape of the notch part 17 should just hold the protrusion outer edge part 13 of the part exposed from the notch part 17 with a fingertip, and may be a semicircle, a semi-elliptical shape, a polygon.
[0022]
Further, the lid is formed of a transparent plastic so that the bonding wire housed inside can be seen. Therefore, even if a notch is formed in the peripheral wall portion of the lid, the portion may be difficult to see. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 4, when the container body 11 and the lid body 12 are fitted to each other, the portion corresponding to the notch portion 17 of the lid body 12 (exposed from the notch portion 17). The notch portion 17 is easily identified by forming the gripping portion 18 by projecting only the portion) to the outside of the other portion, or by coloring the portion in a color that can be easily recognized, or by combining both. Can be convenient.

【The invention's effect】
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, when removing a cover body from a container main body, a strong force is not required, and the spool case for bonding wires which can pull a cover body to the vertical direction easily can be provided. Therefore, the bonding wire held in the spool and accommodated in the spool case can be safely taken out without being damaged when the lid is removed.
