Abstract

The invention relates to a fence element (10) comprising a substantially vertical box-shaped structure (11-14) and variable display means (31). Such a fence element is particularly suitable for integrating into a building site fence. The invention also relates to a fence (100) comprising such an element.

Description

CONNECTED FENCE.

The present invention relates in particular to the field of site fencing.

People living near construction sites are increasingly asking for information relating to work in progress and in particular its progress. This is all the more true for construction sites in urban areas and in particular construction sites relating to public infrastructure, the commitment and purpose of which concern a public authority.

The palisades are more and more opaque and it is therefore impossible to have a view of the site. In addition, it is important to be able to provide up-to-date information on the site. This is generally not the case for legally required site signs.

The object of the invention is to propose means of information adapted to meet these requirements.

To achieve its object, the invention provides a fence element which comprises a structure, preferably substantially vertical, and, variable display means integrated into said structure. This structure advantageously comprises a box having an opening towards the front, preferably substantially over the entire front face of said box, and a door hinged to said box so that it can close off said opening.

The display means may include a screen visible through the door. It is preferably fixed to the door, preferably flush with an exterior facing of the door. The screen can broadcast information to passersby and / or be interactive and display information specifically requested by a passerby, for example an interactivity similar to that of a tablet or smartphone.

Such an element may further comprise a cap extending forward from an upper edge of the box. This cap may also include lighting means for the door.

The door may include an exterior facing, which may be made of cladding sheet. The facing is preferably substantially planar.

Advantageously, the element comprises wired connection means, preferably at least one socket of the USB type, and / or wireless connection means (17), preferably a terminal of the WIFI and / or Bluetooth type.

The element may also include mechanical or electrical locking means, and possibly provided to be controlled remotely, preferably with the help of an application downloadable on a mobile phone.

The invention also relates to a fence which comprises a fence element according to one of the preceding claims.

Several embodiments of the invention will be described below, by way of nonlimiting examples, with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: - Figure 1 is a perspective view of three quarters front left of a fence element according to a first embodiment of the invention;

- Figure 2 is a view similar to the view of Figure 1, in which the front face is shown open; and,

- Figure 3 is a perspective view of three quarters front left of a fence element according to a second embodiment of the invention;

Figures 1 and 2 illustrate an embodiment for a fence element 10 according to the invention in particular usable for a site fence. By convention, in the present description, the "front face" of the fence element 10 is the face visible to the public, outside the site. The back of element 10 is the part visible from the site

Element 10 has a structure 11-14 comprising in particular:

- a box 11 open at the front;

- a door 12 to close the front of the box;

- a cap 13;

- A latch 14 for locking the door 12 on the box 11; and,

- lighting means 15 for the front face.

Element 10 also includes communication equipment 16-19, in particular:

- variable display means 16;

- wireless connection means 17;

- wire connection means 18; and,

- Means 19 for supplying the element 10, in particular the display 14, with energy and information. The box 11 is metallic; it comprises a bottom 21, vertical, two side walls 22, vertical, a bottom wall 23 and a top wall 24. It comprises a front opening 26, substantially over the entire front face.

In its closed position illustrated in FIG. 1, the door 12 constitutes substantially the entire front face of the element 10. The door is articulated around a hinge 27, near the right side wall 22 of the box. On its internal face, visible in the open position illustrated in FIG. 2, the door includes a peripheral seal 28, to ensure a seal with a sealing edge 29 of the box 11. The hinge is an invisible hinge.

In the example illustrated, the variable display means 16 comprise a flat screen 31 mounted substantially flush with the outside face of the door 12. The body 32 of this screen passes through the door and projects beyond the inside, as particularly illustrated in the figure 2.

The wired connection means comprise for example one or more USB, HDMI, RJ45 sockets, making it possible to connect a portable device there, for example of the telephone or electronic tablet type. It allows you to charge the device; it also makes it possible to collect information delivered by the closing element and / or to exchange information with this element. Advantageously, the element may include secure lockers, not shown, for housing a mobile device, in particular a mobile phone, during its recharging.

The wireless connection means include a WIFI and / or 3G, 4G or 5G 17 terminal. It also makes it possible to collect information delivered by the fence element and / or to exchange information with this element; it can also allow access to a network, for example the Internet. The supply means include an electrical panel for distributing energy and information to the various equipment and towards the outside of the fence element 10, cables for supplying the various equipment and a common cable 35, for connecting the panel 33 outside the box.

In the example illustrated, the variable display means 14, the table 33, a WIFI terminal and a USB terminal are fixed to an interior side of the door 12.

On an outer side of each side wall 22, the element comprises means for connecting the element 10 to other parts of a fence 100, shown in phantom in Figure 1. In the example illustrated, these means connection comprises a square profile 37, arranged vertically and riveted to the side wall 22.

As illustrated in FIG. 1, the door comprises a substantially planar exterior facing 38. In the example illustrated, this facing 32 is formed of cladding sheets 40, of the type of blades referenced "Cisalame" by the company Cisabac, 10, rue Gustave Eiffel ZI des Tarterêts 91100 Corbeil-Essonnes, France.

The exterior facing being substantially flat, an adhesive 39 has been affixed thereto. In the example illustrated, the adhesive is the support for pre-printed information, in particular it carries a logo 41 signaling the availability of a WIFI signal. It can also be the support of other permanent information, for example a site name or that of a contracting authority. It can also have a decorative role.

The parts of the fence 100 adjacent to the element 10 may advantageously comprise a facing formed from the same cladding sheets 40 as the facing 36; element 10 can thus be perfectly integrated into the whole of the fence 100, its facing 36 being substantially coplanar with that of the adjacent parts of the fence 100.

The cover 13 extends forward from an upper edge of the box 11, above the door 12. It provides a protective function of the front face, in particular of the screen 31, particularly with respect to rain and sunlight. In particular, it is intended to cast a shadow on the screen 31 in order to guarantee sufficient readability for a given time. The lighting means 15 have the form of a strip embedded in the thickness of the cap and designed to illuminate the front face, in particular the area covered by the adhesive 39.

The latch 14 advantageously comprises remote control means 42, so that there is no apparent lock on the front face of the element. The hinge 27 being provided invisible, in the example illustrated, nothing signals to the passerby the presence of a door capable of being opened. This arrangement makes it possible to reduce the risk that the integrity of the element 10 and its content will be compromised. It also allows better integration of the element in the fence 100. The remote control means include an application 43 downloadable on a mobile phone 44.

In Figures 1 and 2, means 46 are provided for fixing the element. In the example illustrated, these fixing means take the form of tubes 47 fixed by their upper end under the bottom wall 23 of the box and by their lower end to a plate 48 provided for fixing the element on a stabilizing element, for example a sill. Of course, the invention is not limited to the preferred embodiments which have just been described but, on the contrary, the invention is defined by the claims which follow.

It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications can be made to the embodiments described above, in the light of the teaching which has just been disclosed to him.

Thus, advantageously, the top of the box and / or the cover can advantageously comprise solar panel means for producing all or part of the energy necessary for the operation of the equipment of the fence element. In addition, means can be provided for storing the energy thus produced.

In addition, for greater autonomy of the closing element, the data can be exchanged with this element by wireless means.

The wireless connection means can also include a Bluetooth terminal, alone or in combination with the WIFI terminal cited in example 0 described. There may also be several of some of the facilities. For example, there may be several screens, and / or several wire sockets, in particular several USB and / or RJ45 type sockets.

Also, the closing element can comprise support means, in or 5 on the front face, for placing a portable device charged, for example on the USB port. This portable device is typically a cell phone or an electronic tablet.

Such an element, particularly if it is autonomous, can be installed in isolation 0 even before the opening of a site, for example to inform of works to come. It is particularly suitable for being then integrated into a planned fence to be installed later to isolate the site.

We will now describe a second embodiment for the invention, with reference to Figure 3, in that it differs from the first.

In this example, the facing 36 is formed from a single piece of sheet metal which extends substantially over the entire height of the fence element 10. It is substantially coplanar with the cladding sheets 40 forming the fence parts 100, on either side of element 10. The facing constitutes a facade for a trunk, not shown in FIG. 3, of element 10. This facade is advantageously designed to open towards the front, for example around a vertical hinge. It can also be provided to open towards the front around a horizontal hinge, preferably arranged under the cover 13.

The cover 13 is completed by two columns 113 which extend on either side of the facing, under the cover 13. Each column 113 is a sheet which differs from the cladding sheets 40 in that a first vertical edge 113A is adjacent and flush with the facing 26, and, that a second vertical edge 113B protrudes forward by a value L113. Such a column thus has a substantially triangular horizontal section.

Each column 113 thus constitutes protection for the facing 36 and the screen 31, in particular against objects or people who would skirt the crop too closely, risking damage to the facing and the screen.

In this second embodiment, the screen 31 is arranged vertically. The element comprises a camera 50, arranged above the screen and under the cover 13. This camera 50 can have one or more functions, in particular among: - easy recognition,

- light sensor,

- measurement of the impact of content broadcast on the screen.

Also, the screen, instead of being rigid, can be a screen with a flexible screen; it can be attached to a non-planar fence, but with a curvature or edges. Several tiles can also be connected together to form a large screen.

The element can also include loudspeaker means, RFID means, means for distributing show or transport tickets, in particular virtual tickets on a smartphone. The element is preferably designed to withstand the weather. In particular when it is intended to be used outdoors, such an element is advantageously in accordance with IP55 standards, resistant to thermal differences and to cleaning.
