Description
本発明は、時系列学習装置、時系列学習方法、時系列予測装置、時系列予測方法、及びプログラムに係り、特に、将来の人流を予測するための時系列学習装置、時系列学習方法、時系列予測装置、時系列予測方法、及びプログラムに関する。
イベント等が開催される大型施設や駅などの交通施設において人の流れを解析することは、事前の混雑状況の検討、混雑緩和や非常時の避難誘導のための立案などにとって必要不可欠である。
このような人の流れを解析する技術の一つとして、過去の観測データなどを元に将来の混雑度を予測するための時系列予測技術(例えば、非特許文献1)がある。

観測データを集める際は通常様々な制約(観測機器を設置できる場所、時間帯など)があり、観測データの中でも相関が強いものとそうでないものの差が出てくる。
例えば、異なる2つの観測場所で計測された通過人数のデータがあった場合、観測場所間の移動距離が短いほど、またデータを観測した時間帯が近いほど、直近の通過人数に関する相関が通常強くなる傾向がある。
また、観測場所によっては特定の時間帯に人が多く通る移動ルートが出現することもある。例えば、夕方から夜にかけての時間帯では、退勤して駅に向かう人が多くなる移動ルート等が存在する。
このように、観測データの中でも地理的・時間的要素などによって相関性が変わるため、時系列予測を行う際にはこれらの相関性を考慮した上で、既に得られている過去の観測データのうちどのデータを用いるか、影響度を大きくするか等を、各観測点、及び時間帯等の条件に合わせて調整する必要がある。
しかし、従来技術ではこれらの問題に対応できていない、又は部分的にしか対応していないため、将来の時系列予測を行った場合、予測精度が低くなる、という問題があった。
本発明は上記の点に鑑みてなされたものであり、精度よく、予測時刻における通過人数の予測を行うための予測モデルを学習することができる時系列学習装置、時系列学習方法、及びプログラムを提供することを目的とする。

このように、予測対象の観測点、及び予測したい時刻に合わせて、予測対象の観測点との距離、及び移動の向きを考慮した影響度の重み付けを行うことで、予測精度の向上を実現する。
また、時間帯、曜日、イベントの有無等によって、人流の主要な移動ルートが変わる。例えば、図3において、主要な人の移動ルートは、朝と昼とで通過する観測点が変わる。
このように、移動ルートが変わることを考慮した影響度の重み付けを行うことで、予測精度の向上を実現する。

図8~10は実験の例であり、観測点全部のデータを入力とするよりも近接の観測点に絞った方が、観測点全体や一部のみを用いる場合よりも精度が良くなること、及び移動ルートの向きを考慮することで精度が変わることを表している。
図8は、実際の観測値と、観測点全体に基づいて予測した場合と、観測点の一部に基づいて予測した場合と、観測点間の位置情報等を考慮して予測した場合の、時刻と通過人数との関係を示すグラフである。また、図9は、実際の観測値と、観測点全体に基づいて予測した場合、観測点の一部に基づいて予測した場合、及び観測点間の位置情報等を考慮して予測した場合との任意の時刻における通過人数の誤差を、学習回数に応じてプロットしたグラフである。
図9に示すように、観測点全部のデータを入力とするよりも近接の観測点に絞った方が、観測点全体や一部のみを用いる場合よりも誤差が小さいため、精度が良くなることが示された。
また、図10は、位置的に同じ観測点において、右向きの通過人数を観測する観測点と、左向きの通過人数を観測する観測点とにおいて、移動ルートとして右向きが多い時間帯における予測結果の誤差を、学習回数に応じてプロットした図である。
図10によれば、移動ルートの向きを考慮することで、観測結果と予測結果との誤差が変わることから、精度に影響を与えることを表している。すなわち、移動ルートを考慮することで、予測の精度が良くなることが示された。
以上説明したように、本発明の実施形態に係る時系列学習予測装置によれば、複数の観測点の各々について、当該観測点の過去の時刻と、当該過去の時刻における当該観測点の通過人数とを含む学習データに基づいて、複数の観測点の各々について、他の観測点との距離に基づく当該他の観測点の通過人数からの影響度を示す第1の重み、及び移動ルートに基づく当該他の観測点の通過人数からの影響度を示す第2の重みとは異なる、当該他の観測点の通過人数からの影響度を示す第3の重みとを含むパラメータを有する予測モデルを用いて予測される、予測時刻の当該観測点の通過人数と、当該学習データに含まれる予測時刻に対応する時刻の通過人数とが一致するように、予測モデルのパラメータを学習することにより、精度よく、予測時刻における通過人数の予測を行うための予測モデルを学習することができる。
また、本発明の実施形態に係る時系列学習予測装置によれば、観測点についての、他の観測点との距離に基づく当該他の観測点の通過人数からの影響度を示す第1の重みと、移動ルートに基づく当該他の観測点の通過人数からの影響度を示す第2の重みと、第1の重み及び第2の重みとは異なる、当該他の観測点の通過人数からの影響度を示す第3の重みとを含むパラメータを有する、予め学習された予測モデルを用いて、複数の観測点の各々について、当該観測点の観測時刻と、当該観測時刻における当該観測点の通過人数とを含む観測データから、予測時刻における観測点の通過人数を予測することにより、精度よく、予測時刻における通過人数の予測を行うことができる。
<本発明の第2の実施の形態に係る時系列学習予測装置の原理>
本実施形態では、予測モデルとして、再帰型ニューラルネットワークの一つであるLSTM(Long Short Term Memory)を用いる場合について説明する。

以上説明したように、本発明の実施形態に係る時系列学習予測装置によれば、再帰型ニューラルネットワークである予測モデルのパラメータを学習することにより、精度よく、予測時刻における通過人数の予測を行うための予測モデルを学習することができる。
また、予め学習された再帰型ニューラルネットワークである予測モデルを用いて、予測時刻における観測点の通過人数を予測することにより、精度よく、予測時刻における通過人数の予測を行うことができる。
なお、本発明は、上述した実施の形態に限定されるものではなく、この発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲内で様々な変形や応用が可能である。
上述の実施の形態では、学習と予測とを行う1つの装置で構成する場合について説明したが、これに限定されるものではなく、学習を行う時系列学習装置と、予測を行う時系列予測装置とを別々に構成してもよい。
また、予測時に、観測データと共に、第1の重み行列及び第2の重み行列を入力する場合を例に説明したが、これに限定されるものではなく、学習時と同じ第1の重み行列及び第2の重み行列を用いる場合には、第1の重み行列及び第2の重み行列の入力を省略するようにしてもよい。
また、本願明細書中において、プログラムが予めインストールされている実施形態として説明したが、当該プログラムを、コンピュータ読み取り可能な記録媒体に格納して提供することも可能である。

Claims (7)
- 複数の観測点の各々について、入力された前記観測点の観測時刻の通過人数に基づいて、予測時刻における前記観測点の通過人数を予測するための予測モデルのパラメータを学習する時系列学習装置であって、
前記複数の観測点の各々について、前記観測点の過去の時刻と、前記過去の時刻における前記観測点の通過人数とを含む学習データ、他の観測点との距離に基づく前記他の観測点の通過人数からの影響度を示す第1の重み、及び移動ルートに基づく前記他の観測点の通過人数からの影響度を示す第2の重みの入力を受け付ける入力部と、
前記学習データに基づいて、前記複数の観測点の各々について、前記第1の重みと、前記第2の重みと、前記第1の重み及び前記第2の重みとは異なる、前記他の観測点の通過人数からの影響度を示す第3の重みとを含むパラメータを有する前記予測モデルを用いて予測される、予測時刻の前記観測点の通過人数と、前記学習データに含まれる前記予測時刻に対応する時刻の通過人数とが一致するように、前記予測モデルのパラメータを学習する学習部と、
