본 발명은 기능성이 부가된 곡면 박판 유리 및 곡면 접합 유리를 용이하게 제조할 수 있는 방법에 관한 것이다.

본 명세서는 2018년 5월 24일에 한국특허청에 제출된 한국 특허 출원 제10-2018-0058851호의 출원일의 이익을 주장하며, 그 내용 전부는 본 발명에 포함된다.
본 발명은 기능성이 부가된 곡면 박판 유리 및 곡면 접합 유리를 용이하게 제조할 수 있는 방법에 관한 것이다.
유리는 특유의 투명함으로 인해 다양한 생활공간에 적용되어 온 소재이다. 특히, 2 장의 유리가 접합된 접합 유리가 사용되고 있으며, 유리가 사용되는 목적에 따라 곡면을 이루며 휘어진 형태의 곡면 접합 유리가 사용되고 있다. 또한, 곡면 접합 유리의 부피 및 중량을 감소시키기 위하여, 후판 유리와 박판 유리를 사용하여, 곡면 접합 유리를 제조하고 있다.
곡면 접합 유리를 제조하기 위하여, 자중성형, 압착성형 및 냉간성형 방법이 일반적으로 사용되고 있다. 자중성형은 유리의 테두리를 고정하는 성형 틀을 이용하며, 성형하고자 하는 유리의 연화점 부근까지 온도를 상승시키고, 유리의 자중에 의해 유리가 굽힘(sagging)되는 것을 이용하여 성형한 후, 성형된 유리를 접합하는 방법이다. 또한, 압착성형은 성형하고자 하는 유리를 충분히 가열시킨 상태에서 미리 설정된 모양으로 형성된 틀로 압착하여 성형한 후, 성형된 유리를 접합하는 방법이다. 또한, 냉간성형은 곡면으로 성형된 유리의 오목한 면에 다른 유리를 배치하고, 진공기술을 이용하여 다른 유리를 곡면으로 탄성변형 시킨 후, 접합하는 방법이다.
최근에는 친환경 및 에너지 효율을 극대화하기 위하여, 기능성이 부가된 곡면 접합 유리가 건축용, 자동차용 등 다양한 분야에 사용되고 있다. 다만, 곡면 접합 유리에 기능성을 부가하기 위하여, 곡면으로 성형된 유리에 투명 발열층 또는 투명 디스플레이 등을 형성하는 것은 용이하지 않다. 이는, 곡면으로 성형된 유리에 얇은 기능성층을 도입하는 공정이 쉽지 않으며, 곡면으로 성형된 유리 상에 균일한 두께를 가지는 기능성층을 형성하는 것이 용이하지 않기 때문이다.
따라서, 기능성이 부가된 곡면 접합 유리를 용이하게 제조할 수 있는 기술이 필요한 실정이다.
이에, 본 발명은 기능성이 부가된 곡면 박판 유리를 용이하게 제조할 수 있는 방법과, 이를 이용하여 기능성이 부가된 곡면 접합 유리를 쉽게 제조할 수 있는 방법을 제공하고자 한다.
다만, 본 발명이 해결하고자 하는 과제는 상기 언급한 과제로 제한되지 않으며, 언급되지 않은 또 다른 과제들은 하기의 기재로부터 당업자에게 명확하게 이해될 수 있을 것이다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태는, 곡면 박판 유리를 준비하는 단계; 상기 곡면 박판 유리에 외력을 가하여, 판상의 박판 유리로 탄성변형시키는 단계; 상기 외력이 유지된 상태에서, 상기 판상의 박판 유리의 일면 상에 기능성층을 구비시키는 단계; 및 상기 외력을 제거하여, 상기 판상의 박판 유리를 곡면 박판 유리로 변형시키는 단계;를 포함하는 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리의 제조 방법을 제공한다.

본원 명세서 전체에서, 유리의 “곡률반경”은 곡면으로 성형된 유리 표면의 미소지점에서 모든 방향을 따라 곡면에 가장 근사한 원호의 반경의 최소값을 의미할 수 있다. 또한, 3D Scanner(Faro/Focus S) 등을 이용하여 곡면으로 성형된 유리 표면을 스캔, 모델링하여 곡률반경을 측정할 수 있다. 이를 통해, 단곡면을 가지는 유리 또는 복곡면을 가지는 유리의 곡률반경을 측정할 수 있다.
본 발명자들은 기능성이 부가된 곡면 유리를 제조하기 위해서, 곡면으로 성형된 유리의 표면 상에 기능성층을 형성하는 경우, 곡면으로 성형된 유리 표면 상에 기능성층을 균일한 두께로 형성하는 것이 어려운 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 평판의 유리 상에 기능성층을 형성한 후, 유리를 자중성형 등의 방법으로 곡면으로 성형하는 경우에는 유리 표면에 형성된 기능성층에 손상이 발생되는 것을 확인하였다. 이에, 본 발명자들은 곡면으로 성형된 유리에 외력을 가하여, 판상의 형태로 탄성변형시키고 유리 표면에 기능성층을 형성한 후, 외력을 제거하는 간단한 방법을 통해 기능성이 부가된 곡면 유리를 제조할 수 있음을 밝혀내어, 하기와 같은 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리 및 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 접합 유리를 제조하는 방법을 개발하였다.
이하, 본 명세서에 대하여 더욱 상세하게 설명한다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태는, 곡면 박판 유리를 준비하는 단계; 상기 곡면 박판 유리에 외력을 가하여, 판상의 박판 유리로 탄성변형시키는 단계; 상기 외력이 유지된 상태에서, 상기 판상의 박판 유리의 일면 상에 기능성층을 구비시키는 단계; 및 상기 외력을 제거하여, 상기 판상의 박판 유리를 곡면 박판 유리로 변형시키는 단계;를 포함하는 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리의 제조 방법을 제공한다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따른 기능성층이 구비된 박판 유리의 제조 방법은 기능성이 부가된 곡면 박판 유리를 용이하게 제조할 수 있다. 구체적으로, 곡면 박판 유리에 외력을 가하여 판상의 박판 유리로 탄성변형시키고, 외력이 유지된 상태에서 박판 유리의 표면 상에 기능성층을 형성한 후, 외력을 제거하는 간단한 방법을 통해, 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리를 용이하게 제조할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 곡면 박판 유리를 준비하는 단계는 당업계에서 유리를 곡면으로 성형하는 공지된 방법을 이용하여, 곡면 박판 유리를 제조할 수 있다. 일 예로, 자중성형 방법 또는 압착성형 방법을 이용하여, 평판 상태의 박판 유리로부터 곡면 박판 유리를 제조할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 박판 유리로 운송수단의 창유리로서 통상적으로 사용되는 유리를 특별한 제한 없이 채택하여 사용할 수 있다. 구체적으로, 박판 유리로 무알칼리 유리를 사용할 수 있다.
일 예로, 박판 유리로, 조성물 100 wt%당 Si0
2 46 wt% 이상 62 wt% 이하, Al
2O
3 15 wt% 이상 29 wt% 이하, MgO 3 wt% 이상 14 wt% 이하, CaO 5 wt% 이상 16 wt% 이하, 및 SrO 0.01 wt% 이상 5 wt% 이하를 포함하고, 알칼리 금속 산화물을 실질적으로 함유하지 않는 조성물로부터 형성된 무알칼리 유리를 사용할 수 있다.
알칼리 금속 산화물을 실질적으로 함유하지 않는다는 것은, 유리 중에 알칼리 금속 산화물이 전혀 포함되어 있지 않거나, 일부 포함되어 있더라도 다른 성분에 비해 그 함유량이 극히 미미하여 유리의 조성 성분으로 무시할 수 있을 정도의 양을 포함한 경우 등을 의미할 수 있다. 예를 들어, 알칼리 금속 산화물을 실질적으로 함유하지 않는다는 것은 유리의 제조 공정에 있어서 용융 유리와 접촉하는 내화물이나 유리 원료 중의 불순물 등으로부터 불가피하게 유리 중에 혼입되는 미량의 알칼리 금속 원소를 함유하는 경우를 의미할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 박판 유리로 사용될 수 있는 무알칼리 유리는 산화물 환산의 질량 백분율 표시로 1% 미만의 알칼리 금속(Li, Na, K 등) 산화물을 함유하고 있는 무알칼리 유리를 사용할 수 있다. 또한, 상기 박판 유리로, 무알칼리 붕규산 유리 또는 무알칼리 알루미노 붕규산 유리를 사용할 수 있다. 또한, 상기 박판 유리로, 플로트 법에 의해 제조된 유리, 다운드로우 방식이나 퓨전 방식에 의해 제조된 유리를 사용할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 박판 유리로 강화 유리 또는 비강화 유리를 사용할 수 있다. 일 예로, 화학적으로 강화된 유리, 열로 강화된 유리, 또는 열 및 화학적으로 강화된 유리를 박판 유리로 사용할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 곡면 박판 유리는 단곡면 또는 복곡면을 가지는 것일 수 있다. 구체적으로, 상기 곡면 박판 유리는 1축으로 성형되어 1방향으로만 곡률을 가지는 단곡면 형태의 곡면 유리일 수 있다. 또한, 상기 곡면 박판 유리는 2축으로 성형되어 다방향으로 곡률을 가지는 복곡면 형태의 곡면 유리일 수 있다. 일 예로, 복곡면 형태의 유리는 구면, 포물면(paraboloid) 또는 자유곡면을 가지는 것일 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 곡면 박판 유리는 500 mm 이상 8,000 mm 이하의 곡률반경을 가질 수 있다. 구체적으로, 곡면 박판 유리의 곡률반경은 1,200 mm 이상 8,000 mm 이하, 700 mm 이상 7,000 mm 이하, 1,000 mm 이상 5,500 mm 이하, 1,200 mm 이상 4,500 mm 이하, 1,500 mm 이상 3,000 mm 이하, 750 mm 이상 1,500 mm 이하, 1,700 mm 이상 3,500 mm 이하, 또는 4,000 mm 이상 7,500 mm 이하일 수 있다.
또한, 상기 곡면 박판 유리는 곡률반경이 500 mm 이상 8,000 mm 이하인 복곡면 박판 유리일 수 있다. 상기 복곡면 박판 유리의 곡률반경은, 복곡면 박판 유리의 중앙으로부터 동일 거리로 이격된 복수의 지점에서 측정된 곡률반경의 최소값일 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 곡률반경이 전술한 범위 내인 경우, 상기 곡면 박판 유리에 외력을 가하여 판상의 박판 유리로 탄성변형시키는 과정에서, 상기 박판 유리가 파손되는 것을 방지할 수 있다.
도 1은 본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따른 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리를 제조하는 과정을 나타낸 도면이다. 구체적으로, 도 1의 (a)는 진공 플레이트(P) 상에 곡면 박판 유리(10)의 오목한 면이 인접하도록 위치시키고 진공 플레이트(P)를 가동하여, 곡면 박판 유리(10)를 판상의 박판 유리(10)로 탄성변형시키는 과정을 나타낸 것이다. 또한, 도 1의 (b)는 탄성변형된 판상의 박판 유리(10) 상에 기능성층(20)을 형성하는 과정을 나타낸 것이다. 또한, 도 1의 (c)는 진공 플레이트(P)의 가동을 멈춰, 기능성층(20)이 구비된 판상의 박판 유리(10)가 곡면 박판 유리(10)로 복귀되는 것을 나타낸 도면이다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 곡면 박판 유리에 외력을 가하여, 상기 곡면 박판 유리를 판상의 형태로 탄성변형시킬 수 있다. 상기 곡면 박판 유리에 외력을 가하는 방법으로, 당업계에서 곡면 박판 유리를 탄성변형시킬 수 있는 방법을 제한없이 사용할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 곡면 박판 유리의 볼록한 면을 가압하거나, 곡면 박판 유리의 볼록한 면에 가스를 분사하거나, 또는 곡면 박판 유리의 오목한 면을 진공흡입할 수 있다. 다만, 곡면 박판 유리에 외력을 가하는 방법을 한정하는 것은 아니다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 판상의 박판 유리로 탄성변형시키는 단계는 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 오목한 면을 진공흡입하거나, 점착력을 이용하여 상기 곡면 박판 유리를 판상의 형태로 유지할 수 있다. 구체적으로, 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 오목한 면을 진공흡입하여, 상기 곡면 박판 유리에 외력을 가할 수 있으며, 이를 통해 곡면 박판 유리를 판상의 박판 유리로 탄성변형시킬 수 있다. 또한, 진공흡입을 유지하여, 상기 곡면 박판 유리를 판상의 형태로 고정시킬 수 있다. 곡면 박판 유리의 오목한 면을 진공흡입하는 방법으로 당업계에서 사용되는 방법을 제한없이 사용할 수 있다. 일 예로, 판상의 진공 플레이트 상에 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 오목한 면이 인접하도록 위치시키고, 진공 플레이트를 가동하여 곡면 박판 유리를 탄성변형시킬 수 있다. 이를 통해, 판상의 진공 플레이트에 판상의 박판 유리가 흡착될 수 있다. 이후, 판상의 박판 유리의 일면에 기능성층을 구비시킨 후, 진공 플레이트의 가동을 멈춤으로써, 탄성변형된 판상의 박판 유리는 곡면 형태로 복귀할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 곡면 박판 유리를 진공흡입하는 간단한 방법을 통해, 상기 곡면 박판 유리를 판상의 박판 유리로 용이하게 탄성변형시킬 수 있으며, 판상의 박판 유리 상에 기능성층을 쉽게 도입할 수 있다.
또한, 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 오목한 면에 점착제 또는 점착필름을 구비시킨 후, 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 볼록한 면에서 오목한 면 방향으로 곡면 박판 유리를 가압하여, 일 기재 상에 점착시킬 수 있다. 이를 통해, 상기 곡면 박판 유리를 판상의 형태로 유지시킬 수 있다. 상기 점착제 또는 점착필름으로, 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 오목한 면에서 용이하게 제거될 수 있는 것을 사용할 수 있다. 구체적으로, 상기 판상의 박판 유리의 일면 상에 기능성층을 구비시킨 후, 상기 박판 유리에서 제거가 용이한 점착제 또는 점착필름을 사용할 수 있다. 보다 구체적으로, 상기 박판 유리에 점착제의 흔적이 남지 않는 적절한 점착제 또는 점착필름을 선택하여, 사용할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 두께는 0.3 mm 이상 1.0 mm 이하일 수 있다. 즉, 상기 곡면 박판 유리를 제조하기 위하여 사용되는 평판 상태의 박판 유리의 두께는 0.3 mm 이상 1.0 mm 이하일 수 있다. 또한, 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 두께는 0.3 mm 이상 0.8 mm 이하, 0.4 mm 이상 0.6 mm 이하, 0.3 mm 이상 0.7 mm 이하, 또는 0.5 mm 이상 0.8 mm 이하일 수 있다. 전술한 범위의 두께를 가지는 곡면 박판 유리는 판상의 박판 유리로 탄성변형이 용이할 수 있다. 또한, 전술한 범위의 두께를 가지는 곡면 박판 유리를 사용함으로써, 내충격성이 우수함과 동시에, 효과적으로 박형화 및 경량화된 곡면 접합 유리를 구현할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 탄성변형에 따른 상기 판상의 박판 유리 표면에 발생되는 응력 변화는 1.5 GPa 이하, 1.1 GPa 이하 또는 0.8GPa 이하일 수 있다. 곡면 박판 유리를 판상의 박판 유리로 탄성변형시킴에 따라, 판상의 박판 유리 표면에 응력이 추가적으로 인가될 수 있다. 이 때, 평판의 형태로 탄성변형된 박판 유리 표면에 위치별로 존재하는 응력의 값(σ
F)과, 상기 응력(σ
F)을 측정한 위치와 대응되는 위치에서의 탄성변형 전의 박판 유리의 표면에 존재하는 응력(σ
C)의 값과의 차이의 절대값이 1.5 Gpa 이하, 1.1 GPa 이하 또는 0.8GPa 이하일 수 있다(│△σ│ < 1.5 GPa, 1.1 GPa, 0.8 GPa). 구체적으로, 상기 응력 변화(│△σ│)는 상기 유리 표면의 각 위치에서의 응력 변화의 평균값일 수 있다. 또한, 탄성변형에 따른 상기 판상의 박판 유리 표면에 발생되는 응력 변화는 0.1 GPa 이상 1.5 GPa 이하, 0.8 GPa 이상 1.5 GPa 이하 또는 0.8 GPa 이상 1.1 GPa 이하일 수 있다.
탄성변형됨에 따라 상기 박판 유리 표면에 발생되는 응력의 변화량이 전술한 범위 내인 경우, 곡면 박판 유리를 판상의 박판 유리로 탄성변형시키는 과정에서 박판 유리가 파손되는 것을 효과적으로 방지할 수 있다. 또한, 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 곡률반경을 조절함으로써, 탄성변형에 따른 상기 판상의 박판 유리에 발생되는 응력 변화량을 제어할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 “응력”은 인장응력 및 압축응력을 포함하는 응력을 의미할 수 있다. 또한, 본 발명에서 유리에 존재하는 인장응력, 압축응력 등은 당업계에서 사용되는 일반적인 방법을 통해 계산할 수 있으며, 본 발명에서는, Edge-master 장비(Stress Photonics 社)를 이용한 광학적 방법을 통해 계산할 수 있다. 구체적으로, Edge-master 장비를 이용하는 경우, 유리 표면에 존재하는 응력에 따라 색상이 구별되어 나타난 이미지를 획득할 수 있으며, 이를 이용하여 응력 값을 계산할 수 있다. 또한, Solidworks Simulation을 이용하여, 유리 표면에 존재하는 응력을 계산할 수 있다. 예를 들면, Solidworks Simulation에서 본 발명에 따른 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리의 제조 공정 및 공정 조건 등을 설정한 후, 박판 유리의 탄성변형 전, 후의 응력을 계산할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 탄성변형된 상기 판상의 박판 유리 표면에 존재하는 인장응력은 800 MPa 이하일 수 있다. 구체적으로, 탄성변형된 상기 판상의 박판 유리 표면에 존재하는 인장응력은 750 MPa 이하, 600 MPa 이하, 400 MPa 이하, 355 MPa 이하, 300 MPa 이하, 또는 270 MPa 이하일 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 탄성변형된 상기 판상의 박판 유리 표면에 존재하는 인장응력이 전술한 범위 내인 경우, 곡면 박판 유리를 판상의 박판 유리로 탄성변형시키는 과정에서 박판 유리가 파손되는 것을 효과적으로 억제할 수 있다. 또한, 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 곡률반경을 조절함으로써, 탄성변형된 상기 판상의 박판 유리 표면에 존재하는 인장응력을 제어할 수 있다.
따라서, 본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 탄성변형됨에 따라 상기 판상의 박판 유리 표면에 발생되는 응력의 변화량 및/또는 탄성변형된 상기 판상의 박판 유리 표면에 존재하는 인장응력을 전술한 범위 내로 조절함으로써, 박판 유리의 파손 없이 기능성층을 곡면 박판 유리 상에 구비시킬 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 곡면 박판 유리를 판상의 박판 유리로 탄성변형시킨 외력을 유지한 상태에서, 판상의 박판 유리의 일면 상에 기능성층을 구비시킬 수 있다. 상기 기능성층은 사용되는 용도에 따라 상기 판상의 박판 유리 일면의 전체 또는 일부분에 구비될 수 있다. 또한, 상기 기능성층을 접합 필름 또는 점착제를 이용하여 상기 판상의 박판 유리의 일면 상에 부착하거나, 기능성층을 형성할 수 있는 조성물 등을 도포하여 상기 판상의 박판 유리의 일면 상에 기능성층을 코팅할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 기능성층은 투명 발열층, 투명 디스플레이 유닛, 또는 변색층일 수 있다. 투명 발열층을 기능성층으로 구비시키는 경우, 유리 전체가 고르게 발열될 수 있는 기능성 곡면 박판 유리를 제공할 수 있다. 또한, 투명 디스플레이 유닛을 기능성층으로 구비시키는 경우, 곡면 형태의 디스플레이 박판 유리를 제조할 수 있다. 또한, 변색층을 기능성층으로 구비시키는 경우, 전압이 인가됨에 따라 유리의 색 또는 광 투과도가 변경될 수 있는 기능성 곡면 박판 유리를 제공할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 판상의 박판 유리의 일면 상에 기능성층을 구비시킨 후, 상기 외력을 제거하여 상기 판상의 박판 유리를 탄성변형 전의 곡면 박판 유리로 복귀시킬 수 있다. 상기 곡면 박판 유리는 외력에 의해 탄성변형된 것으로, 상기 외력이 제거됨에 따라 곡면 박판 유리로 다시 변형될 수 있다. 이를 통해, 일면 상에 기능성층이 균일한 두께로 구비되며, 기능성층의 파손이 억제된 곡면 박판 유리를 제공할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태는 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 제조 방법에 따른 방법으로 제조되는 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리를 제공한다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 균일한 두께 및 우수한 품질을 가지는 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리를 제공할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 일면 상에 투명 발열층이 구비됨에 따라, 유리 전체가 고르게 발열될 수 있는 기능성 곡면 박판 유리를 제공할 수 있다. 투명 발열층으로 공지된 구성이 사용될 수 있고, 투명 발열층의 후방에 위치한 사물을 볼 수 있으며, 발열 가능한 구성이라면 그 제한이 없다. 상기 투명 발열층에 전기가 공급됨에 따라, 곡면 접합 유리 전체에 열을 고르게 제공할 수 있다.
상기 투명 발열층은 금(Au), 은(Ag), 알루미늄(Al) 구리(Cu), 크롬(Cr), 니켈(Ni), 타이타늄(Ti), 팔라듐(Pd), 몰리브덴(Mo), 산화구리(Cu
2O, CuO), 산화알루미늄(Al

3), 산화은(AgO), 산화크롬(CrO
x), 산화타이타늄(TiO
2), 산화팔라듐(PdO), 산화몰리브덴(MoO
3), ITO(indium tin oxide) 및 FTO(fluorine doped tin oxide) 중 적어도 1종의 투명 전극을 포함할 수 있다. 또한, 상기 투명 전극은 미세 전도성 라인으로 이루어진 메탈 메쉬 전극일 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 일면 상에 투명 디스플레이 유닛이 구비됨에 따라, 곡면 형태의 디스플레이 유리를 제공할 수 있다. 상기 투명 디스플레이 유닛으로 공지된 구성이 사용될 수 있고, 투명 디스플레이 유닛 후방에 위치한 사물을 볼 수 있으며, 정보를 출력할 수 있는 구성이라면 그 제한이 없다.
상기 투명 디스플레이 유닛은 투명 디스플레이 패널 및 이를 제어하는 제어 모듈을 포함할 수 있다. 상기 투명 디스플레이 패널은 액정 디스플레이(liquid crystal display, LCD), 박막 트랜지스터 액정 디스플레이(thin film transistor-liquid crystal display, TFT LCD), 유기 발광 다이오드(organic lightemitting diode, OLED), 플렉시블 디스플레이(flexible display) 및 3차원 디스플레이(3D display) 중 하나를 포함할 수 있는데, 이를 통해 후방을 볼 수 있도록 투명형 또는 광투과형으로 구성될 수 있다.
또한, 투명 디스플레이 패널과 터치센서가, 상호 레이어 구조를 이루거나 일체형으로 형성되는 경우에, 투명 디스플레이 패널은 출력 장치 이외에 입력 장치로도 사용될 수 있다. 상기 곡면 박판 유리로 무알칼리 유리를 사용하는 경우, 무알칼리 유리는 알칼리 성분을 포함하지 않거나 극히 일부 포함하고 있어, 기판 유리로 활용될 수 있다. 즉, 상기 곡면 박판 유리 상에 터치 필름, 터치 시트, 터치 패드 등을 형성할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 일면 상에 변색층이 구비됨으로써, 전압이 인가됨에 따라 유리의 색 또는 광 투과도가 변경될 수 있는 기능성 곡면 박판 유리를 제공할 수 있다.
변색층으로 공지된 구성이 사용될 수 있고, 전기 자극에 의하여 색 또는 광 투과도가 변경될 수 있는 구성이라면 그 제한이 없다. 일 예로, 변색층은 전원이 연결되는 전도층, 전도층 사이에 배치되는 전해질층과, 전해질층의 일측에 배치되는 이온 축전층을 포함할 수 있다. 상기 전도층에 전류가 공급되면, 전도층과 연결되어 있는 이온 축전층으로부터 배출되는 전자에 의해 변색층이 변색될 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태는, 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 제조 방법에 따른 방법으로 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리를 제조하는 단계; 상기 곡면 박판 유리보다 두께가 두꺼운 곡면 후판 유리의 오목한 면과 상기 기능성층 사이에 접합 필름 또는 접착제를 구비시키는 단계; 및 기능성층이 구비된 상기 곡면 박판 유리를 상기 곡면 후판 유리와 정합되도록 접합하여 곡면 접합 유리를 제조하는 단계;를 포함하는 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 접합 유리의 제조 방법을 제공한다.

도 3은 본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따른 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 접합 유리를 제조하는 방법을 나타낸 도면이다. 구체적으로, 상기 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리의 제조 방법을 통해 제조된 곡면 박판 유리(10)의 기능성층(20)과 곡면 후판 유리 사이(40)에 접합 필름(30)을 위치시키고, 기능성층(20)이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리(10)를 곡면 후판 유리(40)와 접합하는 것을 나타낸 도면이다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 당업계에서 유리를 곡면으로 성형하는 공지된 방법을 이용하여, 곡면 후판 유리를 제조할 수 있다. 일 예로, 자중성형 방법 또는 압착성형 방법을 이용하여, 판상의 후판 유리로부터 곡면 후판 유리를 제조할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 후판 유리로 소다라임 유리를 사용할 수 있다. 구체적으로, 상기 후판 유리로 운송수단의 창유리로서 통상적으로 사용되는 유리를 특별한 제한 없이 채택하여 사용할 수 있다. 일 예로, 상기 후판 유리로, 조성물 100 wt%당 Si0
2 65 wt% 이상 75 wt% 이하, Al

3 0 wt% 이상 10 wt% 이하, NaO
2 10 wt% 이상 15 wt% 이하, K
2O 0 wt% 이상 5 wt% 이하, CaO 1 wt% 이상 12 wt% 이하 및 MgO 0 wt% 이상 8 wt% 이하를 포함하는 조성물로부터 형성된 소다라임 유리를 사용할 수 있다. 또한, 플로트 배스(float bath)를 이용하는 플로트(float) 법에 의해 제조된 소다라임 유리, 다운드로우(down draw) 방식이나 퓨전 방식에 의해 제조된 소다라임 유리를 상기 후판 유리로 사용할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 곡면 후판 유리는 단곡면 또는 복곡면을 가지는 것일 수 있다. 또한, 상기 곡면 후판 유리는 500 mm 이상 8,000 mm 이하의 곡률반경을 가질 수 있고, 상기 곡면 후판 유리는 곡률반경이 500 mm 이상 8,000 mm 이하인 복곡면 후판 유리일 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 곡면 후판 유리의 오목한 면과 상기 기능성층 사이에, 접합필름 또는 접착제를 구비시킬 수 있다. 구체적으로, 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 일면 상에 구비된 기능성층 상에 상기 접합필름 또는 접착제를 위치시키거나, 상기 곡면 후판 유리의 오목한 면 상에 상기 접합필름 또는 접착제를 위치시킬 수 있다. 이를 통해, 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리는 곡면 후판 유리와 접합될 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 접합필름은 단층 또는 다층일 수 있다. 구체적으로, 다층 접합필름을 사용하는 경우, 각 층의 조성은 동일하거나 상이할 수 있고, 각 층의 두께는 동일하거나 상이할 수 있다. 접합필름은 폴리비닐알코올과 폴리비닐부티랄 공중합체 필름 등 당 분야에서 접합 유리를 접합할 때 사용되는 재질의 (공)중합체 필름을 특별한 제한 없이 채택하여 사용할 수 있다. 일 예로,상기 접합필름은 폴리에틸렌, 에틸렌아세트산 비닐 공중합체, 폴리프로필렌, 폴리스티렌, 메타크릴 수지, 폴리염화비닐, 폴리에틸렌테레프탈레이트, 폴리부틸렌테레프탈레이트, 셀룰로오스아세테이트, 디알릴프탈레이트 수지, 요소 수지, 멜라민 수지, 불포화 폴리에스테르, 폴리비닐부티랄, 폴리비닐포르말, 폴리비닐알코올, 아세트산 비닐수지, 이오노머, 폴리메틸펜텐, 염화비닐리덴, 폴리술폰, 폴리불화비닐리덴, 메타크릴-스티렌 공중합 수지, 폴리아릴레이트, 폴리알릴술폰, 폴리부타디엔, 폴리에테르술폰, 및 폴리에테르에테르케톤 중 적어도 하나를 포함할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 접합필름의 두께는 0.5 mm 이상 1 mm 이하일 수 있으나, 이를 한정하는 것은 아니다. 다만, 접합필름의 두께를 전술한 범위로 조절함으로써, 기능성층과 상기 곡면 후판 유리 사이의 접착력이 충분하지 않아, 기능성층과 곡면 후판 유리가 떨어지는 문제를 방지할 수 있다. 또한, 접합필름의 두께를 전술한 범위로 조절함으로써, 박형화된 곡면 접합 유리를 제조할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 접착제는 OCA(Optically Clear Adhesive), LOCA(Liquid Optically Clear Adhesive) 또는 OCR(Optically Clear Resin)을 포함할 수 있다. 상기 곡면 후판 유리의 오목한 면 또는 상기 기능성층 상에 상기 접착제를 0.5 mm 이상 1.5 mm 이하의 두께로 도포할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 당업계에서 통상적으로 사용되는 방법을 이용하여, 기능성층이 구비된 상기 곡면 박판 유리를 상기 곡면 후판 유리와 정합되도록 접합할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 상기 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리와 상기 곡면 후판 유리의 곡률반경이 실질적으로 동일한 경우, 곡면 후판 유리의 오목한 면과 기능성층 사이에 접합 필름 또는 접착제를 구비시키고, 곡면 후판 유리와 곡면 박판 유리를 가압하여 접합시킬 수 있다. 또한, 상기 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리와 상기 곡면 후판 유리의 곡률반경이 상이한 경우, 상기 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리를 탄성변형시켜, 상기 곡면 박판 유리와 상기 곡면 후판 유리를 접합시킬 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리를 탄성변형시키는 방법으로 당업계에서 통상적으로 사용되는 방법이라면 특별히 제한되지 않는다. 일 예로, 고온 롤러 또는 진공 링(ring)/진공 백(bag) 공정을 이용한 압착공정을 통하여 기능성층이 구비된 상기 곡면 박판 유리를 탄성변형시킬 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 50℃ 이하의 온도에서 기능성층이 구비된 상기 곡면 박판 유리를 탄성변형시킬 수 있다. 구체적으로, 0℃ 이상 15℃ 이하의 온도, 20℃ 이상 35℃ 이하의 온도, 또는 25℃ 이상 45℃ 이하의 온도에서 기능성층이 구비된 상기 곡면 박판 유리를 탄성변형시킬 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 기능성층이 구비된 상기 곡면 박판 유리는 상기 곡면 후판 유리의 오목한 면과 정합되어 접합될 수 있다. 따라서, 곡면 접합 유리에 포함된 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리와 상기 곡면 후판 유리의 곡률반경과 실질적으로 동일한 곡률반경을 가질 수 있다. 유리의 곡률반경이 실질적으로 동일하다는 것은, 유리의 곡률이 서로 완전하게 동일한 경우뿐만 아니라, 제조하는 과정에서 유리의 곡률에 미세한 차이가 발생되나, 품질 및 광학적 물성 등에 영향을 미치지 않는 정도를 의미할 수 있다. 따라서, 제조되는 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 접합 유리는 광학적 품질 및 기계적 품질이 우수한 이점이 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 곡면 접합 유리를 80℃ 이상 140℃ 이하 또는 80℃ 이상 130℃ 이하의 온도에서 열처리하는 단계를 더 포함할 수 있다. 제조된 곡면 접합 유리를 전술한 온도 범위에서 열처리함으로써, 기능성층과 상기 곡면 후판 유리의 접합력을 향상시킬 수 있다.
또한, 상기 곡면 접합 유리의 제조 방법은 2회 이상의 열처리 단계를 포함할 수 있다. 일 예로, 상기 곡면 접합 유리를 약 90 ℃의 온도에서 열처리한 후, 약 120 ℃의 온도에서 다시 열처리하여 최종적으로 곡면 접합 유리를 제조할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 곡면 후판 유리와 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 두께 비는 1:0.1 내지 1:0.6일 수 있다. 구체적으로, 상기 곡면 후판 유리와 기능성층을 제외한 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 두께 비는 1:0.1 내지 1:0.6일 수 있다. 또한, 상기 곡면 후판 유리와 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 두께 비는 1:0.1 내지 1:0.6, 1:0.15 내지 1:0.45, 1:0.25 내지 1:0.3, 1:0.15 내지 1:0.25, 또는 1:0.3 내지 1:0.45일 수 있다. 상기 곡면 후판 유리와 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 두께 비를 전술한 범위로 조절함으로써, 강성 하락에 의해 상기 곡면 접합 유리가 파손되는 확률을 효과적으로 감소시킬 수 있다. 또한, 보다 얇은 두께를 가지는 곡면 접합 유리를 제공할 수 있다.
도 2는 본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따른 곡면 후판 유리와 곡면 박판 유리의 두께 비에 따른 강성 확보 결과를 나타낸 도면이다. 구체적으로, 도 2는 본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따른 곡면 접합 유리의 네 모서리를 고정한 상태에서 중앙부에 일정한 하중을 인가하여 중앙부의 처짐량을 분석한 것을 나타낸 도면이다. 도 2에서 x축은 총 유리 두께를 나타내고 y축은 유리 처짐량, 즉 휘어진 정도를 나타낸다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, [곡면 박판 유리의 두께]/[곡면 후판 유리의 두께]인 AR(Asymmetry ratio)은 0.1 내지 0.6 범위를 만족할 수 있다. AR이 작아질수록 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 두께는 얇아지고, 상기 곡면 후판 유리의 두께는 두꺼워짐을 의미한다. 도 2를 참고하면, 상기 곡면 박판 유리와 곡면 후판 유리의 두께 비를 전술한 범위로 조절하여, 곡면 접합 유리의 휘어진 정도를 낮추어 강성을 확보할 수 있다.
따라서, 본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 곡면 박판 유리 및 곡면 후판 유리의 두께 비를 전술한 범위로 조절하여, 곡면 접합 유리의 강성 증대 효과, 경량화 효과 및 박형화 효과를 보다 향상시킬 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 곡면 후판 유리의 두께는 2 mm 이상 3 mm 이하일 수 있다. 구체적으로, 상기 곡면 후판 유리의 두께는 2.5 mm 이상 3 mm 이하일 수 있다. 상기 곡면 후판 유리의 두께를 전술한 범위로 조절함으로써, 곡면 접합 유리를 효과적으로 경량화, 박형화시킬 수 있고, 곡면 접합 유리의 내충격성이 저하되는 것을 억제할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태는 상기 곡면 접합 유리의 제조 방법에 따른 방법으로 제조되는 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 접합 유리를 제공한다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 투명 발열층을 포함하는 곡면 박판 유리를 이용하여 제조된 곡면 접합 유리를 자동차의 윈도우로 적용 시, 자동차 내부와 외부의 온도차에 따라 자동차 윈도우에 발생될 수 있는 이슬 맺힘 현상을 방지할 수 있으며, 서리를 제거할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 투명 디스플레이 유닛을 포함하는 곡면 박판 유리를 이용하여 제조된 곡면 접합 유리를 자동차의 윈도우로 적용하는 경우, 사용자에게 필요한 운전 관련 정보 등을 출력할 수 있는 자동차 유리를 제공할 수 있다. 또한, 변색층을 포함하는 곡면 박판 유리를 이용하여 제조된 곡면 접합 유리는 자동차용 윈도우 중 선루프 윈도우, 측면 윈도우 등에 적용될 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 곡면 후판 유리와 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 비커스 경도 비는 1:1.1 내지 1:1.3일 수 있다. 구체적으로, 상기 곡면 후판 유리와 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 비커스 경도 비는 1:1.12 내지 1:1.27, 1:1.15 내지 1:1.25, 또는 1:1.2 내지 1:1.23일 수 있다. 상기 곡면 후판 유리보다 높은 경도를 보유하는 상기 곡면 박판 유리를 포함하는 곡면 접합 유리는 내마모성, 내스크레치성 및 내구성이 우수할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 비커스 경도는 5.5 GPa 이상 7 GPa 이하일 수 있다. 구체적으로, 상기 곡면 박판 유리는 5.8 GPa 이상 6.9 GPa 이하, 6.0 GPa 이상 6.7 GPa 이하, 또는 6.2 GPa 이상 6.5 GPa 이하의 비커스 경도를 가질 수 있다. 전술한 범위의 비커스 경도 값을 가지는 곡면 박판 유리를 포함하는 곡면 접합 유리는 내충격성, 내마모성 및 내구성 등이 우수할 수 있다. 또한, 곡면 접합 유리의 제조 비용을 절감할 수 있다. 또한, 상기 곡면 후판 유리는 5.2 GPa 이상 5.8 GPa 이하의 비커스 경도를 가질 수 있다.
상기 곡면 박판 유리 및 상기 곡면 후판 유리의 비커스 경도는 비커스 압입자를 이용하여 유리를 누른 후 자국의 크기를 측정하여 계산할 수 있다. 구체적으로, 24 ℃의 온도, 35RH%의 습도 조건에서, ASTM C1327-08 규격에 의거하고 압입하중을 200gf, 압입유지 시간을 20초로 설정하여, 상기 곡면 박판 유리 및 상기 곡면 후판 유리의 비커스 경도를 측정할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 곡면 후판 유리와 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 파괴인성 비는 1:1.3 내지 1:1.5일 수 있다. 구체적으로, 상기 곡면 후판 유리와 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 파괴인성 비는 1:1.35 내지 1:1.49, 1:1.37 내지 1:1.45, 또는 1:1.39 내지 1:1.45일 수 있다. 상기 곡면 박판 유리는 상기 곡면 후판 유리 대비 전술한 범위의 파괴인성을 보유하고 있어, 곡면 접합 유리의 외부충격에 대한 파괴저항성을 향상시킬 수 있고, 곡면 접합 유리의 파손강도 저하를 효과적으로 방지할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 파괴인성 값은 1.0 MPa·m

상기 곡면 박판 유리 및 곡면 후판 유리의 파괴인성 값은 비커스 압입자로 유리에 균열이 생길 때까지 누른 후 균열 길이, 압입자 자국, 하중 등을 이용하여 계산하는 방법인 indentation fracture toughness 측정법을 이용하여 측정할 수 있다. 구체적으로, 24 ℃의 온도, 35RH%의 습도 조건에서, KS L 1600:2010 규격에 의거하고 압입하중은 2Kgf로 설정하여, 상기 곡면 박판 유리 및 상기 곡면 후판 유리의 파괴인성 값을 측정할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 곡면 후판 유리와 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 탄성계수 비는 1:1.01 내지 1:1.2일 수 있다. 구체적으로, 상기 곡면 후판 유리와 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 탄성계수 비는 1:1.04 내지 1:1.17, 1:1.06 내지 1:1.15, 1:1.08 내지 1:1.12, 또는 1:1.08 내지 1:1.15일 수 있다. 상기 곡면 박판 유리는 상기 곡면 후판 유리 대비 전술한 범위의 탄성계수를 보유하고 있어, 상기 곡면 접합 유리는 상기 곡면 후판 유리 보다 경량, 박형인 곡면 박판 유리를 포함하는 경우에도 강건한 구조를 가질 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 탄성계수는 70 GPa 이상 90 GPa 이하일 수 있다. 구체적으로, 상기 곡면 박판 유리는 73 GPa 이상 87 GPa 이하, 75 GPa 이상 85 GPa 이하, 78 GPa 이상 80 GPa 이하, 75 GPa 이상 80 GPa 이하, 또는 80 GPa 이상 90 GPa 이하의 탄성계수를 가질 수 있다. 또한, 상기 곡면 후판 유리는 65 GPa 이상 75 GPa 이하의 탄성계수를 가질 수 있다.
상기 곡면 박판 유리 및 상기 곡면 후판 유리의 탄성계수는 3점굽힘 시험으로 측정할 수 있다. 구체적으로, 24 ℃의 온도, 35RH%의 습도 조건에서, UTM(universal testing machine) 장비를 사용한 3점 굽힘(3point bending) 시험을 통해 상기 곡면 박판 유리 및 상기 곡면 후판 유리의 탄성계수를 측정할 수 있다. 보다 구체적으로, 샘플의 폭(width)은 20mm, 지지 간격(support span)을 50 mm로 설정하고, UTM 장비을 통하여 측정된 변위(displacement)와 하중(load)을 변형량(strain)과 응력(stress)으로 변환하여 S-S(strain-stress) 곡선(curve)를 도출한 후, S-S 곡선을 리니어 피팅(liner fitting)하여 산출한 기울기를 통해 탄성계수를 도출할 수 있다.
이하, 본 발명을 구체적으로 설명하기 위해 실시예를 들어 상세하게 설명하기로 한다. 그러나, 본 발명에 따른 실시예들은 여러 가지 다른 형태로 변형될 수 있으며, 본 발명의 범위가 아래에서 기술하는 실시예들에 한정되는 것으로 해석되지 않는다. 본 명세서의 실시예들은 당업계에서 평균적인 지식을 가진 자에게 본 발명을 보다 완전하게 설명하기 위해 제공되는 것이다.
실시예 1
기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리의 제조
유리 100 wt%당 Si0
2 61 wt%, Al
2O
3 16 wt%, MgO 3 wt%, CaO 8 wt% 이하, 및 SrO 0.05 wt%를 포함하며 0.5 mm의 두께를 가지는 무알칼리 유리를 박판 유리로 준비하였다. 상기 무알칼리 유리의 탄성계수는 78 GPa, 비커스 경도는 6.3 GPa, 파괴 인성은 1.20 MPa·m
1/2이었다.
이후, 박판 유리를 900 ℃에서 60 초간 가열하며 자중을 이용하여, 곡률반경이 약 3,000 mm인 곡면 박판 유리를 제조하였다. 이후, 진공 플레이트(LG 화학 社) 상에 곡면 박판 유리의 오목한 면이 인접하도록 위치시키고 진공 플레이트를 가동하여, 곡면 박판 유리를 판상의 박판 유리로 탄성변형시켰다. 이 때, Solidworks Simulation을 이용하여 응력 값을 계산하였으며, 탄성변형에 따른 판상의 박판 유리 표면에 발생되는 응력 변화는 약 0.8 GPa이었고, 판상의 박판 유리 표면에 존재하는 인장응력은 약 270 MPa이었다.
이후, 분무 열분해(Spray pyrolysis) 방법을 이용하여, 진공 플레이트에 흡착된 판상의 박판 유리 상에 발열 가능한 전도성막을 약 1 ㎛의 두께로 코팅하였다. 구체적으로, 판상의 박판 유리의 일면 상에 시드층(seed layer)을 구비시키고, 시드층 상에 전도성 물질인 FTO를 분무 열분해 방법을 이용하여 약 1 ㎛의 두께로 코팅하였다.
이후, 진공 플레이트의 가동을 멈춰, 발열 기능이 부가된 곡면 박판 유리를 제조하였다.
기능성층이 구비된 곡면 접합 유리의 제조
유리 100 wt%당 Si0
2 72 wt%, Al
2O
3 0.15 wt%, Na
2O 14 wt%, K
2O 0.03 wt%, 및 CaO 9 wt% 및 MgO 4 wt%를 포함하며 2.0 mm의 두께를 가지는 소다라임 유리를 후판 유리로 준비하였고, 접합필름으로 0.5 mm의 두께를 가지는 폴리비닐부티랄 필름을 준비하였다. 상기 소다라임 유리의 탄성계수는 72 GPa, 비커스 경도는 5.6 GPa, 파괴 인성은 0.85 MPa·m
1/2이었다.
이후, 후판 유리를 600 ℃에서 60초간 가열하며 자중을 이용하여, 곡면 후판 유리를 제조하였다. 곡면으로 성형된 곡면 후판 유리의 곡률반경은 약 1,400 mm이었다.
이후, 곡면 후판 유리에 구비된 기능성층 상에 접합 필름을 부착하고, 곡면 후판 유리의 오목한 면이 접합 필름에 인접하도록 위치시켰다. 이후, 이들을 진공백에 넣고 밀봉한 후, 약 20 ℃의 온도, 150 torr의 압력 조건에서 진공 링으로 압착하여, 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리와 곡면 후판 유리를 접합하고, 오토클레이브에서 약 130 ℃의 온도, 9750 torr의 압력 조건으로 처리하여, 발열 기능 곡면 접합 유리를 제조하였다. 제조된 발열 기능 곡면 접합 유리의 곡률반경은 약 1,400 mm이었다.
실시예 2
기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리의 제조
상기 실시예 1과 동일한 두께의 이온강화용 박판 유리를 준비하고, 박판 유리를 750 ℃에서 55 초간 가열하며 자중을 이용하여, 곡률반경이 약 1,300 mm인 곡면 박판 유리를 제조하였다. 이후, 곡면 박판 유리를 약 400 ℃로 가열된 질산칼륨(KNO
3)염이 담긴 욕조에 1시간 30 정도 침지시켜, 곡면 박판 유리를 이온 강화처리 하였다. 이후, 상기 실시예 1과 동일한 방법으로 곡면 박판 유리를 판상의 박판 유리로 탄성변형시켰다. 이 때, Solidworks Simulation을 이용하여 응력 값을 계산하였으며, 탄성변형에 따른 판상의 박판 유리 표면에 발생되는 응력 변화는 약 1.1 GPa이었고, 판상의 박판 유리 표면에 존재하는 인장응력은 약 355 MPa이었다. 이후, 상기 실시예 1과 동일한 방법으로, 발열 기능이 부가된 곡면 박판 유리를 제조하였다.
기능성층이 구비된 곡면 접합 유리의 제조
상기 실시예 1과 동일한 후판 유리 및 접합 필름을 준비하고, 후판 유리를 650 ℃에서 60초간 가열하며 자중을 이용하여, 곡면 후판 유리를 제조하였다. 곡면으로 성형된 곡면 후판 유리의 곡률반경은 약 1,200 mm이었다.
이후, 상기 실시예 1과 동일한 방법을 이용하여, 발열 기능이 부가된 곡면 접합 유리를 제조하였다. 제조된 발열 기능 곡면 접합 유리의 곡률반경은 약 1,200 mm이었다.
비교예 1
상기 실시예 2와 동일한 박판 유리를 준비하고, 박판 유리를 900 ℃에서 110 초간 가열하며 자중을 이용하여, 곡률반경이 약 1,000 mm인 곡면 박판 유리를 제조하였다. 이후, 상기 실시예 2와 동일한 방법으로, 곡면 박판 유리를 이온 강화처리 하였다. 이후, 상기 실시예 1과 동일한 방법으로 곡면 박판 유리를 판상의 박판 유리로 탄성변형시켰다. 이 때, 탄성변형에 따른 판상의 박판 유리 표면에 발생되는 응력 변화는 약 1.7 GPa이었고, 판상의 박판 유리 표면에 존재하는 인장응력은 약 900 MPa 이었다.
비교예 2
유리 100 wt%당 Si0
2 72 wt%, Al
2O
3 0.15 wt%, Na
2O 14 wt%, K
2O 0.03 wt%, 및 CaO 9 wt% 및 MgO 4 wt%를 포함하며, 2.1 mm의 두께를 가지는 소다라임 유리 2장을 준비하였다. 준비된 소다라임 유리의 탄성계수는 72 GPa, 비커스 경도는 5.3 GPa, 파괴인성은 0.85 MPa·m
1/2이었다. 또한, 0.34 mm 두께의 폴리비닐부티랄 접합 필름 2장 및 발열 가능한 전도성 금속의 메쉬가 증착된 PET 필름을 준비하였다. 접합 필름 2장 사이에 전도성 금속의 메쉬가 증착된 PET 필름을 구비시켜, 발열 기능이 부가된 접합 필름을 제조하였다.
이후, 상기 소다라임 유리 2장을 겹친 후, 약 600 ℃에서 60초간 가열하며 자중을 이용하여 곡면으로 가공하였다. 이후, 곡면으로 가공된 소다라임 유리 2장 사이에 발열 기능이 부가된 접합 필름을 삽입하고, 오토클레이브에서 약 130 ℃의 온도, 9750 torr의 압력 조건으로 처리하여, 발열 기능 곡면 접합 유리를 제조하였다.
비교예 3
상기 비교예 1과 동일한 소다라임 유리 2장을 준비하였고, 접합 필름으로 0.76 mm의 두께를 가지는 폴리비닐부티랄 필름을 준비하였다.
먼저, 소다라임 유리 2장을 겹친 후, 약 600 ℃에서 60초간 가열하며 자중을 이용하여 곡면으로 가공하였다. 이후, 상기 실시예 1와 동일한 분무 열분해 방법을 이용하여, 소다라임 유리의 볼록한 타면에 FTO 발열층을 형성하였다.
이후, FTO 발열층 상에 접합 필름을 부착하고, 2장의 소다라임 유리를 접합하였다. 이후, 접합된 소다라임 유리 2장을 오토클레이브에서 약 130 ℃의 온도, 9750 torr의 압력 조건으로 처리하여, 기능성 곡면 접합 유리를 제조하였다.
제조 결과
탄성변형에 따른 판상의 박판 유리 표면에 발생되는 응력 변화가 1.5 GPa 이하이고, 판상의 박판 유리 표면에 존재하는 인장응력이 800 MPa 이하인 실시예 1 및 실시예 2의 경우, 탄성변형된 판상의 박판 유리에 파손이 없는 것을 확인하였다. 반면, 탄성변형 후 판상의 박판 유리 표면에 존재하는 인장응력이 800 MPa를 초과하는 비교예 1의 경우, 평판 형태로 탄성변형 시에 박판 유리 일부에서 파손이 발생되는 것을 확인하였다.
또한, 실시예 1 및 실시예 2에서 제조된 곡면 박판 유리 상에 구비된 기능성층의 두께는 전체적으로 균일하며, 유리의 위치 별로 발열 온도가 균일한 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 실시예 1 및 실시예 2에서 제조된 곡면 접합 유리에 포함된 기능성층에 파손이 없음을 확인하였다.
또한, 비교예 2의 경우, 2장의 소다라임 유리를 곡면으로 가공하는 과정에서, 발열 기능을 가지는 PET 필름에 좌굴현상이 발생됨에 따라, 제조된 곡면 접합 유리 내부에 기포가 형성되고, 주름이 발생된 것을 확인하였다.
비교예 3의 경우, 소다라임 유리의 볼록한 타면에 형성된 FTO 발열층의 두께가 균일하지 않은 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 제조된 곡면 접합 유리의 발열 품질이 열등한 것을 확인하였다.
따라서, 본 발명의 일 실시상태에 따르면, 균일한 두께를 가지며 품질이 우수한 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리 및 기능성 곡면 접합 유리를 용이하게 제조할 수 있음을 알 수 있다.

Claims (11)
- 곡면 박판 유리를 준비하는 단계;상기 곡면 박판 유리에 외력을 가하여, 판상의 박판 유리로 탄성변형시키는 단계;상기 외력이 유지된 상태에서, 상기 판상의 박판 유리의 일면 상에 기능성층을 구비시키는 단계; 및상기 외력을 제거하여, 상기 판상의 박판 유리를 곡면 박판 유리로 변형시키는 단계;를 포함하는 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리의 제조 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 곡면 박판 유리의 오목한 면을 진공흡입하거나, 점착력을 이용하여 상기 곡면 박판 유리를 판상의 형태로 유지하는 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리의 제조 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,탄성변형에 따른 상기 판상의 박판 유리 표면에 발생되는 응력 변화는 1.5 GPa 이하인 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리의 제조 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,탄성변형된 상기 판상의 박판 유리 표면에 존재하는 인장응력은 800 MPa 이하인 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리의 제조 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 곡면 박판 유리의 두께는 0.3 mm 이상 1.0 mm 이하인 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리의 제조 방법.
- 청구항 1에 있어서,상기 기능성층은 투명 발열층, 투명 디스플레이 유닛, 또는 변색층인 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리의 제조 방법.
- 청구항 1에 따른 방법으로 제조되는 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리.
- 청구항 1에 따른 방법으로 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 박판 유리를 제조하는 단계;상기 곡면 박판 유리보다 두께가 두꺼운 곡면 후판 유리의 오목한 면과 상기 기능성층 사이에 접합 필름 또는 접착제를 구비시키는 단계; 및기능성층이 구비된 상기 곡면 박판 유리를 상기 곡면 후판 유리와 정합되도록 접합하여 곡면 접합 유리를 제조하는 단계;를 포함하는 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 접합 유리의 제조 방법.
- 청구항 8에 있어서,상기 곡면 접합 유리를 80℃ 이상 140℃ 이하의 온도에서 열처리하는 단계를 더 포함하는 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 접합 유리의 제조 방법.
- 청구항 8에 있어서,상기 곡면 후판 유리와 상기 곡면 박판 유리의 두께 비는 1:0.1 내지 1:0.6인 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 접합 유리의 제조 방법.
- 청구항 8에 따른 방법으로 제조되는 기능성층이 구비된 곡면 접합 유리.
