Abstract

The device for shaping pasta or other types of dough solves the technical problem of mechanical rolling of pasta or other types of dough into a single continuous cylindrical piece of a certain thickness and a constant, uninterrupted length. It comprises conical rollers (1) inserted in a lower bracket (3) by means of a pin (7) and attached to spring-loaded (6) upper brackets (2) that are connected to a chain (4) by sprockets (5), which simultaneously drive the conical rollers (1) in the same direction, thereby changing the irregular shape of the dough (8) into a cylindrical shape of a certain thickness. The device comprises at least three conical rollers (1) with pins (7) secured to the lower bracket (3) outwards from the centre line at a slight angle, which can be controlled by turning the lower bracket (3) in order to adjust the speed and the thickness of the prepared rolled dough (8) coming out through the central opening on the lower bracket (3).

Description

Title of invention: DOUGH SHAPING DEVICE
DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Technical field
This invention is related to culinary devices and machines and, more particularly, to machines or tools for making speci fic shapes of pasta and other types of dough.
It is internationally classified under class...
Technical problem
The technical problem addressed by my invention is the mechanical rolling of pasta or any other type of dough into a single continuous cylindrical piece of a certain thickness and a constant, uninterrupted length.
Background art
By doing an internet search (Google Patent Search. United States Patent & Trademark Office, Japan Patent Office, WIPO) I have not been able to identify any identical or similar solutions that provide what the. technical solution of my invention does. Given that the devices identified in the background art do not resolve the above technical problems and are not similar to my invention, I am submitting this application.
Disclosure of invention
Dough can be rolled in various ways, but issues arise when it comes to its structure, viscosity, consistency and stickiness, as well as other factors affecting the rolling of a certain type of pasta dough. The ex isting dough rolling systems that roll dough into a cylindrical shape are massive, take up a lot of space and are designed for certain types of dough only. The invention strives to shape an irregular mass of dough, in this case pasta dough, into a single, regular and continuous cylinder of a certain thickness and a constant, uninterrupted length. This machine enables the transformation of irregularly shaped dough into a regular continuous cylindrical shape of a certain thickness and a constant, uninterrupted length where the length depends on lire quantity of dough being rolled.

The device for shaping pasta or other types of dough comprises conical roll ers 1 attached to the upper brackets 2 that also serve as the driving shaft of the conicai system powering the electric motor or another system by means of a chain 4 and sprockets 5. The chain 4 is connected to all the other sprockets 5, i.e. to all conical rollers 1 that are simultaneously driven by the upper bracket 2 in the same direction. The upper bracket 2 is loaded with a spring 6 pushing the lower bracket with enough force 3, which by means of a pin 7 holds the rollers 1 in place, i.e. prevents the movement of the conical rollers 1 outside of the set parameters.
Figure 2 shows properly arranged conical rollers t at a maximum distance of 1 mrn one from another, where the device must contain a minimum of three or more conical rollers 1. In the depicted version, the device consists of six conical rollers 1. The conical rollers l can be moved by one hole only, which is controlled by means of the lower bracket 3. By turning the conical rollers 1, the material is pushed downwards, i.e. the material comes out through the opening on the lower bracket 3. By turning the lower bracket 3, the speed and the thickness of the dough coming out as a cylinder can be adjusted, while the length of the prepared rolled dough depends on the. quantity of material being inserted into the device. This system may be upgraded with conical rollers containing a concave or convex feed screw.
A conical roller 1 is easily mounted because tire upper bracket 2 that is attached to a stand, is loaded with a spring 6, so that it is enough to insert the entire conical roller 1, including its head, into the upper bracket 2 for the lower part with the pin 7 to simply lock into the bearing of the lower bracket 3 where tire force of the spring 6 holds the conical roller 1 in a constant position that is slightly shifted from the centre line of the conical roller i .
Al l upper brackets 2, together with all their parts (Fig. 5), are mounted on a stand that prevents them from dropping because they are kept in place by a bearing or a washer, or other system ensuring easy mounting and dismantling of conical rollers 1 for cleaning or maintenance purposes.
Figure 7 shows an example of irregularly shaped dough 8 inserted into the system that, after the material or dough 8 is processed through fire conical rollers 1 and the irregularly shaped dough is transformed into a cylindrical shape of a certain thickness, comes out through the centra! opening on the lower bracket 3.
Industrial applicability of the invention
The system can be manufactured manually or mechanically from different materials, but for dough making it is recommended to use materials suitable for food processing, The system can be installed into a machine that transforms/rolis irregularly shaped dough into a regular cylinder of a certain thickness. The invention cart be applied in the food industry as well as any other industry where mixture rolling is required.
The advantage of this type of rolling is the small amount of space that it requires and high speed of preparing and rolling the dough needed. Experts will note that different device design variants and performances can be applied without changing the scope and purpose of the invention.

Claims

1. The dough shaping device is characterised by the fact that it comprises conical rollers ( 1 } mounted on the lower bracket (3) by a pin (?) and attached to the spring-loaded (6) upper brackets (2) that are connected to a chain (4) by sprockets (5) that simultaneously drive the conical rollers (1 ) in the same direction thereby changing the irregular shape of the dough (8) into a fixed or endless length cylindrical p iece of a certain thickness.
2. The dough shaping device, according to the requirement 1, is characterised by the fact that the upper bracket system (2) is loaded with a spring (6) that pushes the conical roller (1) into the bearing of the lower bracket (3) that, by means of a pin (7), holds the conical rollers (1) in place, i.e, prevents them from moving outside ihe set parameters.
3. The dough shaping device, according to the requirements 1 aad 2, is characterised by the fact that it comprises at least three conical rollers ( 1) with pins (7) secured to the lower bracket (3) outwards from the centre line at a slight angle that can be controlled by turning the lower bracket (3) in order to adjust the speed and the thickness of the prepared rolled dough {8} coming out through the central opening on the lower bracket (3).
