Definitions

  • the invention is related to writing devices, more specifically it relates to a mechanism that uses a pen to write automatically using the calligraphy of the person.
  • Pens are essential in all our daily activities in which the need to write, sign or draw is presented.
  • Bird feathers with ink were the first devices that were used to make manuscripts and, later, different types and forms of writing utensils were developed.
  • the present invention describes a system to allow in an automated way that the generated documents have the type of handwritten letter of a specific user.
  • the pen works coupled to a mobile support and other devices and allows you to write independently and automatically by voice dictation, simulating the calligraphy of the person.
  • the system records the writing style of the person (the strokes associated with each character) in a storage unit or base of data and, then, is able to write a text, simulating the way of writing of the person, after transcribing what was dictated in voice by that person.
  • This system can also implement a language translator in such a way that, following the voice dictation of a person in one language, write the text in another language, previously chosen by command, simulating the calligraphy of the person.
  • the system for simulating calligraphy includes a pen, guiding means coupled with the pen, said guiding means allow moving the pen in the three spatial dimensions. It also includes a storage unit for storing calligraphic elements (handwritten letters or symbols) along with their corresponding typographic characters (for example: "A”, "a", "B”, etc.)
  • the system includes a processor to select the calligraphic elements associated with each typographic character of a text file. Abstract
