If the sound output frequency is defined by the hearing intensity (decibel) measurement method depending on user age, than the sound in the frequency value corresponding to the determined decibel value is applied to the speaker. The user is thus enabled to enjoy the most favorable user experience by applying the sounds of values suitable for the user's hearing level.
  • the adaptive sound level adjustment system is activated upon inputting age data during normal operation of the display device, and compares the instant sound level with a threshold value predetermined according to the relevant age group. If the sound level applied to the speaker is below the threshold value, the speaker is applied a suitable voltage value for increasing the sound level in an offset level corresponding to the difference between the currently applied user defined sound level and the sound level suitable for the user's age group. The user experience is thus improved by providing a direct transition to the ideal sound level.
  • the display device determines the level difference for activating the value calculated according to the age group.
  • the frequency level change applied to nullify this difference is defined as the offsetting sound level.
  • the device control making selections through the menu, control of a device capable of commanding the display device may be enabled by means of a physical button on the controller device or on the display device, or by means of selecting on controllers defined so as to transmit commands to the display device upon being triggered by a point like buttons. Such a selection is transmitted to the electronic control unit which enables bringing the sound level automatically to the value calculated according to the stated age group. Making selection is thus facilitated for the user.
  • the display device comprises an electronic control unit enabling the device menu to input the user age each time the display device is turned on.
  • the user may activate this feature when he/she desires.
  • This feature can be programmed such that each time the display device is turned on, an age data input screen is displayed automatically. When it is not desired to use this feature, it can be completely turned off, preventing the age input screen from being displayed. This enables an application which can be customized according to user preferences.
  • the display device comprises an adaptive sound level adjustment system enabling grouping users' ages in three separate ranges, and assigning a separate sound level value for each group.
  • This segmentation may be formed depending on perceivable frequency ranges that are medically proven, differing in recognizable levels for groups which may be defined as young, middle aged and elder individuals. It is assumed that younger groups are capable of hearing frequencies in the range of 20 and 20,000 Hz, middle aged groups 20 and 16,000 Hz, and elder groups 20 and 8,000 Hz. In this case, sound output frequency in these three frequency ranges can be adapted for the age ranges defined for these three groups.
  • the users are thus enabled to protect their hearing health by being subjected to the sounds in the most ideal levels for their hearing capabilities, thereby improving their user experience.

  • the display device comprises a memory unit on which the operation data are stored, in the form of database containing sound levels corresponding to relevant age group values, and an adaptive sound level adjustment system enabling adjusting and controlling the sound level of at least one speaker according to data received from the internal memory unit.

  • the real-time sound values from the speakers are compared with a predetermined reference sound value stored in the database defined for the predetermined age group range covering the age data input into the system by the user, and the speakers are driven so as to adjust to compensate the difference between these sound levels.
  • Operational data in the form of a database containing sound level values associated with the relevant speaker voltage values are stored in the internal memory provided in the display device. In this manner, the electronic control unit receives from the database the voltage value required to drive the speakers, thereby providing convenient control.
  • the display device comprises an adaptive sound level adjustment system - activated upon age data input during normal operation of the display device, - determining the sound level corresponding to the relevant age value by comparing the input age data with the age values defined in the internal memory unit, - comparing the measured instant sound level with the determined sound level, and - if the measured instant sound level is lower than the determined sound level, enabling applying to the speaker the voltage value required to increase the instant sound level to the determined sound level.
  • the adaptive sound level system enables driving the speaker in the offsetting sound level calculated and activated to nullify the difference in between.
