The present invention relates to the cosmetic field and more particularly, but not exclusively, to cosmetic articles intended for the make-up or care of human keratin materials, in particular the skin.

Technological background

To apply a cosmetic product to the skin, various applicators are known.

These include sponges, brushes, wipes and flocked applicators.

There is a need to benefit from a new applicator that allows the user to enjoy a new sensory experience, and which has good application properties of a cosmetic composition.

Summary of the invention

The invention thus relates to an article such as a powder puff for applying a cosmetic product, comprising a first textile layer and a second textile layer bonded together by a set of spacer filaments whose ends are respectively connected to the first layer. and at the second layer.

The article is not impregnated with a cosmetic product before any application. It is used to take a cosmetic product in an independent reservoir and apply it, especially to the skin, or to remove or blur a cosmetic product present on the skin. It does not constitute a reserve of cosmetic product.

The article of the invention is flexible, and pleasant to the touch.

Thanks to the invention, there is a new applicator with a spring effect related to the presence of the spacer between the first and second textile layers. The spacer provides thickness to the article without providing significant resistance to pressure, and provides a feeling of comfort related softness thus obtained.

Preferably, the article is devoid of foam, especially between the first and second layers.

The article may be mounted on a support, being in this case especially in the form of a tip. The support may constitute a gripping member, such as a rod. In a variant, the article is not mounted on any support. All or part of the article, especially the set of filaments form the spacer, can be treated antibacterial.

The item can be washable. The spacer is an airy space, so the item dries quickly.

The article advantageously comprises a closure, advantageously peripheral, connecting at least the first and second layers together at their periphery. The closure is preferably performed by ultrasonic or high frequency welding. In this case, the spacer is enclosed inside the article by the closure and is not visible from the outside. Such a closure, in particular welding, makes it possible to prevent the tissues forming the first and second layers from being undone by their periphery. This also makes the application softer for the user.

The article may comprise at least a third flexible layer, especially textile, attached to an outer face of the first and / or second layer. The third layer may be attached to the first and / or second layer, in particular by gluing, suture, welding, or any other suitable fastening means. The third layer is advantageously fixed by welding at its periphery with the first and second layers.

The third layer may be textured or not. The third layer may be selected from woven and nonwoven. The third layer may comprise microfibre yarns, in particular of polyamide and / or polyester, or acrylic or other, in order to impart an additional softness to the touch.

The article may have a circular, oval, square, rectangular, trapezoidal shape, any regular polygonal shape or not, or other shape. The article may have a surface, in top view, which occupies between 2 and 80 cm ² . The shaping may have been performed by cutting, in particular by punching or by laser, if necessary. The largest dimension of the article, especially the puff, may be between 10 mm and 100 mm, preferably between 40 mm and 60 mm.

The invention allows a wide choice of materials, textures and porosities for the first layer and for the second layer and, where appropriate, for the third layer. We can easily adapt them to the touch and type of makeup sought.

The fabric forming the first layer, the second layer and / or the third layer comprises, for example, yarns made with fibers and / or microfibers chosen from the group consisting of: synthetic fibers and / or microfibers such as polyamide, elastane, polyester, acrylic, viscose, acetate, natural fibers and / or microfibers such as silk, wool, cotton, flax, hemp, and mixtures thereof. this. The fabric preferably comprises a mixture of synthetic fibers and / or microfibers, in particular polyamide and elastane, the proportion of polyamide being in particular greater than 50%, preferably greater than 60%, especially greater than 70% by weight. The fabric comprises, for example, a blend of polyamide and elastane microfibre yarns. The constituent material (s) of the fabric forming the first, second and / or third layers are preferably selected to impart a silky touch to the article. The constituent material (s) of the fabric may be chosen to impart elasticity to the fabric forming the first, second and / or third layers.

The first layer and / or the second layer and / or the third layer may appear to the naked eye as being substantially continuous. By "the naked eye" is meant an observation at a distance of 15 cm with an eye of normal acuity. Alternatively, the first layer and / or the second layer appears to the naked eye as openwork.

The first layer can be made in the same textile and with the same weaving or knitting as the second layer.

Alternatively, the first layer is made of a different textile and / or with a weaving or knitting different from that of the second layer. In the latter case, this makes it possible to obtain different makeup results. Alternatively, one of the layers is suitable for the removal of cosmetic product, especially on the skin, while the other of the layers is more suitable for finishing, or blurring makeup. Alternatively one of the layers is adapted to the application of a liquid cosmetic product, while the other layer is suitable for the application of a powdery cosmetic product. This also applies to the third layer covering the first and / or second layer. The layer covering the first layer may be identical to or different from the optional additional layer covering the second layer.

In general, the largest dimension of an opening present on the first, the second and / or the third layer may be between 1 mm and 15 mm. The section of each aperture may be between 1 mm ² and 100 mm ² . All the openings can be of identical form. The thickness of the article, in particular of the puff, measured at the center thereof between the facing faces of the first and second layers, may be between 1 mm and 30 mm, better still between 5 mm and 25 mm. For a makeup application, a thickness of between 1 and 15 mm may be preferred and for a care application a thickness of between 5 and 30 mm.

The strand filaments may have at least one portion oriented perpendicularly to the first and second layers. In an exemplary implementation of the invention, the filaments each have an arcuate shape. This can give more compressibility to the puff and reduce the effort to exercise to bring the first and second layers together. Preferably, the filaments are each monofilar, rather than multifile or made by fiber spinning. This gives them more rigidity, so contributes to the elasticity of the puff and its memory shape.

The article, in particular the puff, is preferably made entirely of a synthetic material, preferably thermoplastic. For example, the article, in particular the puff, comprises at least one material selected from polyester, polyamide, a polyolefin, among other plastics.

The article, especially the puff, may comprise intersecting filaments when viewed in a direction perpendicular to its thickness. This can cause the first layer to approach the second layer, when the user presses the first layer, without lateral shift of the first layer relative to the second.

The first layer and the second layer are textile, preferably consisting of knitted yarns. In particular, the spacer-forming filaments are advantageously connected by knitting to the first and second layers. The filaments themselves can be knitted.

The first layer and the second layer can be made by knitting on a double needle loom. It may be a chain knit or a knitting weft.

Preferably, the article according to the invention is free of intermediate absorbent structure, especially such as a foam, reported between the first layer and second layer. The article, in particular the puff, is advantageously devoid of any layer of foam, such as PU foam, SBR or polyolefin for example.

The invention further relates to a cosmetic assembly comprising a package comprising at least one, especially at least two items, including puffs, as defined above. The package may consist of a bag or a cardboard box.

The bag may be of a thermoplastic material, optionally metallized. The bag may have been closed by heat sealing. The bag may comprise a notch constituting a tear initiation facilitating its opening. The sachet may comprise a polyolefin. The bag can be sealed.

Cosmetic device

The invention also relates to a cosmetic device comprising at least one article such as a puff, as defined above, and at least one cosmetic composition to be applied using the article.

The cosmetic composition may be chosen from make-up or skincare compositions for the body or the face, for example from foundations, blushers, eye shadows, sunscreen creams.

The cosmetic device may further comprise a housing comprising a cosmetic composition reservoir and a housing for the article. The housing can be made in such a way that the article is not in contact with the cosmetic composition in the housing.

The housing may include a body having the reservoir and a cover. The housing of the article can be provided in the housing between the body and the lid, above the tank. The item can be free in the housing. The housing cover can be screwed or hinged to the body. A latching or magnetic locking system may be provided to maintain the housing in a closed configuration. The cover may be of rectangular, elliptical, circular or other contour in plan view. The housing is for example a thermoplastic material.

Detailed description of embodiments

In the remainder of the description, identical elements or identical functions bear the same reference sign. For the sake of brevity of the present description, they are not described with respect to each of the figures, only the differences between the embodiments being indicated.

Article 1 according to the invention, shown in Figure 1, is a powder puff. This comprises a first layer 11 of textile and a second layer 12 of textile. The first and second layers are interconnected by a set of filaments 13 forming a spacer whose ends 14 and 15 are respectively connected to the first layer 11 and to the second layer 12.

In this example, the powder puff 1 is not mounted on any support, forming in itself an applicator for applying or removing a cosmetic product or blurring it.

The puff 1 comprises a peripheral closure 16 made in this example by ultrasonic welding. This peripheral closure 16 assembles the first layer 11 at the second layer 12 at their periphery so as to ensure that the filaments 13 forming the spacer are not visible from the outside.

Flexible layers 17a and 17b cover in this example respectively the first layer 11 and the second layer 12.

The layers 17a and 17b are also welded at their periphery with the first and second layers 11 and 12.

The puff 1 illustrated in Figure 2 has a front view of an ovoid contour. The length L1 of the puff 1 is in this example 58 mm and the width L2 47 mm.

The puff 1 may have a shape different from that which is illustrated in Figure 2 without departing from the scope of the invention. In particular, the puff 1 may have a circular, cylindrical, spherical, square, rectangular, oval, trapezoidal shape, or any other polygonal shape or not.

In this example, the layers 17a and 17b are bonded to the first and second layers 11 and 12, respectively. However, it is not beyond the scope of the invention if the layers 17a and 17b are fixed differently on the first and second layers 11 and 12. for example by sewing, welding, PU foam gluing, glue spraying, or by integrating heat fusible wires in the first / second layer or in the layer 17a / 17b and then heating to allow bonding.

The first layer 11, the second layer 12 and the set of filaments 13 may be made of synthetic materials by knitting according to the teaching of application WO 2012/153131 A1 or EP 1 863 959. Examples of textile structures that may be suitable are marketed for textile applications under the name "SPACER FABRICS".

The length of the filaments 13 forming a spacer is for example between 1 and 25 mm, better between 6 and 10 mm. Thanks to the invention, there is available a puff that can be washed, with a spacer constituting an airy space, so that it dries quickly. The puff can be treated anti-bacterial.

The puff 1, thanks to the presence of the spacer, has a spring effect. The pressure resistance of the spacer is low, so that the user feels the use a feeling of comfort and softness.

It is possible to choose a large number of textile materials, especially fabrics, woven, knitted and / or non-woven fabrics, to produce the first layer 11, the second layer 12 and the layers 17a and 17b. In particular, the first layer 11 or the second layer 12 is preferably made of woven or knitted fabric. Layers 17a and 17b are preferably made of woven or nonwoven. When made by knitting, the layer or layers may be made according to particular a chain knit or knitting weft. The filaments 13 forming a spacer are advantageously connected to the first and second layers 11 and 12 by knitting.

In the illustrated example, as visible in FIG. 3, the first layer 11 is made with small openings 21.

The second layer 12 illustrated in FIG. 5 comprises large openings 20 having a larger dimension L of between 1 mm and 5 mm.

The first and second layers may be identical.

At least one of these layers may be free of openings, especially if the article is washable. The first and / or second layer may comprise jacquard patterns.

The layer 17a may comprise a narrower mesh, as can be seen in FIG. 4. In this example, the layer 17b is identical to the layer 17a. The layers 17a, 17b advantageously comprise polyamide micro fiber yarns, in order to give the puff 1 a silky feel, so as to further improve the sensory experience of the user. They also preferably comprise elastane fibers to impart elasticity to the puff 1.

The type of mesh of the different layers 11, 12, 17a, 17b is adapted to the desired use. In this example, the layers 17a and 17b are those with which the user will be in touching contact. The layers 17a and 17b may be different in a variant. One can be adapted to apply the cosmetic product while the other can be adapted to blur the cosmetic product, once it applied to the keratin materials.

The filaments 13 may receive various orientations. In the example illustrated, the filaments 13 are crossed, that is to say that filaments 13a and 13b are encountered which have concavities facing opposite directions.

In the example illustrated in FIG. 6, the filaments 13 are all curved in substantially the same way, with a concavity always facing the same side. Still in this example, the layer 17b is not present, the second layer 12 constituting an outer layer for the article. The user will be in contact with the second layer 12 on one side of the puff and the third layer 17a on the opposite side.

In the example of FIG. 7, the puff 1 is devoid of the layers 17a and 17b, and has as layers only the layers 11 and 12.

In the example of Figure 8, the article 1 constitutes a tip 30, mounted on a support 31 constituting a gripping member, in the form of a rod in this example.

FIG. 9 shows a set 40 of cosmetic articles according to the invention, comprising a package 41 housing a plurality of puffs 1. The package 41 is a bag of thermoplastic material closed by heat sealing, the closure zone 42 being visible on this figure.

FIG. 10 shows a cosmetic device 50 according to the invention, comprising a housing 2 comprising a body 3 housing a reservoir in the form of a material impregnated with a cosmetic composition C.

In this example, an annular lip 9 holds the reservoir in place.

The housing 2 comprises an applicator holder forming a housing 6 for receiving the puff 1, as illustrated. The applicator holder can be hinged to the body 3. It separates the puff 1 from the cosmetic composition, and prevents contact between them in the housing.

The housing 2 also has a cover 5 hinged to the body 3. A mirror 45 equips the inner surface of the cover 5.

To make a make-up or a care, the user takes the puff 1 with his fingers and draws the cosmetic composition C in the reservoir, and applies it to the skin. Other variants of article 1 are possible, especially with different shapes, different textile materials forming the first, second and other layers, different spacer-forming filaments, different forms of support.

Claims
