Abstract
Description
本願は、2018年2月23日に、日本に出願された特願2018-30567号に基づき優先権を主張し、その内容をここに援用する。
[通信システムSの概要]
図1は、本実施形態に係る通信システムSの模式図である。通信システムSは、通信制御装置100と、車両Vと、基地局Bとを含む。通信システムSが含む車両V及び基地局Bの数は限定されない。通信システムSは、その他のサーバ、端末等の機器を含んでもよい。
プロファイル設定が完了すると、通信装置10は、移動後の地域において通信を行うことが可能になる。
図3は、本実施形態に係る通信制御装置100のブロック図である。図3において、矢印は主なデータの流れを示しており、図3に示していないデータの流れがあってよい。図3において、各ブロックはハードウェア(装置)単位の構成ではなく、機能単位の構成を示している。そのため、図3に示すブロックは単一の装置内に実装されてよく、あるいは複数の装置内に別れて実装されてよい。ブロック間のデータの授受は、データバス、ネットワーク、可搬記憶媒体等、任意の手段を介して行われてよい。
図4は、本実施形態に係る通信制御装置100が実行する通信設定方法の模式図である。図4は、第1地域(例えば第1国)において通信可能な車両Vが、第1地域とは異なる第2地域(例えば第2国)に移動する状況を示している。第1地域において、車両VのeSIM11には、リモートプロビジョニングによって、あるいは直接(例えばプロファイル設定用の端末に接触させることによって)、予めプロファイル設定が行われている。
図5は、本実施形態に係る通信制御装置100が実行する通信設定方法における通信シーケンスを示す図である。まず通信装置10は、装置情報を、通信制御装置100に送信する(S11)。この装置情報は、eSIM11を識別するSIM識別情報、移動前の地域の地域識別情報、及び移動前の地域の通信事業者等を含む。通信制御装置100の受信部111は、車両Vからの装置情報を受信する。
本実施形態に係る通信制御装置100は、プロファイル設定の開始時にプロファイル設定のトリガ(条件)を無効化し、プロファイル設定が失敗した場合にトリガを再度有効化する。これにより通信制御装置100は、車両Vの通信装置10に対するプロファイル設定が長期間中断した場合であっても、通信装置10が通信可能な状態になれば何度でもプロファイル設定を再開できる。さらに、通信制御装置100は、プロファイル設定の開始時にトリガを無効化するため、プロファイル設定未完了の車両に係るトリガをプロファイル設定完了まで永続的に管理する必要がない。
第1の実施形態に係る通信制御装置100はプロファイル設定の開始時にプロファイル設定のトリガを無効化するのに対して、通信制御装置100はプロファイル設定の完了時にプロファイル設定のトリガを無効化する。本実施形態においても、通信制御装置100は、プロファイル設定が長期間中断した場合であってもプロファイル設定を再開できる。
図7は、本実施形態に係る通信制御装置100が実行する通信設定方法における通信シーケンスを示す図である。
まず通信装置10は、装置情報を、通信制御装置100に送信する(S11)。この装置情報は、eSIM11を識別するSIM識別情報、移動前の地域の地域識別情報、及び移動前の地域の通信事業者等を含む。通信制御装置100の受信部111は、車両Vからの装置情報を受信する。
プロファイル設定が完了すると、通信装置10は完了を示す完了情報を通信制御装置100に送信する(S19)。通信制御装置100の受信部111が通信装置10から完了情報を受信すると、トリガ設定部112は記憶部130に記憶されたトリガを無効化する(S20)。
このように本実施形態に係る通信制御装置100は、プロファイル設定の開始時にプロファイル設定のトリガ(条件)を維持し、プロファイル設定が完了した場合にトリガを無効化する。これにより通信制御装置100は、車両Vの通信装置10に対するプロファイル設定が長期間中断した場合であっても、通信装置10が通信可能な状態になれば何度でもプロファイル設定を再開できる。さらに、1回のプロファイル設定に必要なトリガの設定及び無効化の処理がそれぞれ1回だけで済む。そのため、プロファイル設定(リモートプロビジョニング)によって通信制御装置100に掛かる負荷を低減できる。

Claims (12)
- 通信装置が通信に用いるプロファイルを設定するための条件を記憶する記憶部と、
前記通信装置から受信した信号が前記記憶部に記憶された前記条件を満たす場合に、前記通信装置に対して前記プロファイルの設定を開始するプロファイル設定部と、
前記プロファイル設定部が前記プロファイルの設定を開始した場合に前記記憶部に記憶された前記条件を無効化するとともに、前記プロファイル設定部が前記プロファイルの設定に失敗した場合に前記通信装置が通信に用いるプロファイルを設定するための条件を有効化する条件設定部と、
を有する通信制御装置。 - 通信装置が通信に用いるプロファイルを設定するための条件を記憶する記憶部と、
前記通信装置から受信した信号が前記記憶部に記憶された前記条件を満たす場合に、前記通信装置に対して前記プロファイルの設定を開始するプロファイル設定部と、
前記プロファイル設定部が前記プロファイルの設定を開始した場合に前記記憶部に記憶された前記条件を維持するとともに、前記プロファイル設定部が前記プロファイルの設定に成功した場合に前記通信装置が通信に用いるプロファイルを設定するための条件を無効化する条件設定部と、
を有する通信制御装置。 - 前記記憶部は、前記プロファイルに対応する地域を示す前記条件を記憶し、
前記プロファイル設定部は、前記信号が示す前記通信装置が通信を行う地域と前記条件が示す地域とが一致することを条件の1つとして、前記プロファイルの設定を開始する、
請求項1又は2に記載の通信制御装置。 - 前記プロファイル設定部は、前記プロファイルの設定を所定の回数繰り返し、前記所定の回数が満了しても前記プロファイルの設定が成功しない場合に、前記プロファイルの設定に失敗したと判定する請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の通信制御装置。
- 所定の回数が満了する前に前記信号を受信した場合に、前記プロファイル設定部は前記プロファイルの設定の繰り返し回数を初期値に戻す請求項4に記載の通信制御装置。
- 前記プロファイル設定部は、前記通信装置に前記プロファイルを送信した後、前記通信装置上で前記プロファイルを有効化することによって、前記プロファイルを設定し、
前記通信装置から受信する信号は、前記プロファイルの受信完了を示す情報と、前記プロファイルの有効化完了を示す情報とを含む、
請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の通信制御装置。 - 前記プロファイル設定部は、前記プロファイルの受信完了を示す情報を受信し、かつ前記プロファイルの有効化完了を示す情報を受信していない場合に、前記プロファイルの送信を行わずに前記プロファイルの有効化を行う請求項6に記載の通信制御装置。
- プロセッサが、
通信装置が通信に用いるプロファイルを設定するための条件を記憶部に記憶させるステップと、
前記通信装置から受信した信号が前記記憶部に記憶された前記条件を満たす場合に、前記通信装置に対して前記プロファイルの設定を開始するステップと、
前記プロファイルの設定が開始された場合に前記記憶部に記憶された前記条件を無効化するとともに、前記プロファイルの設定が失敗した場合に前記通信装置が通信に用いるプロファイルを設定するための条件を有効化するステップと、
を実行する通信設定方法。 - プロセッサが、
通信装置が通信に用いるプロファイルを設定するための条件を記憶部に記憶させるステップと、
前記通信装置から受信した信号が前記記憶部に記憶された前記条件を満たす場合に、前記通信装置に対して前記プロファイルの設定を開始するステップと、
前記プロファイルの設定が開始された場合に前記記憶部に記憶された前記条件を維持するとともに、前記プロファイルの設定が成功した場合に前記通信装置が通信に用いるプロファイルを設定するための条件を無効化するステップと、
を実行する通信設定方法。 - コンピュータに、
通信装置が通信に用いるプロファイルを設定するための条件を記憶部に記憶させるステップと、
前記通信装置から受信した信号が前記記憶部に記憶された前記条件を満たす場合に、前記通信装置に対して前記プロファイルの設定を開始するステップと、
前記プロファイルの設定が開始された場合に前記記憶部に記憶された前記条件を無効化するとともに、前記プロファイルの設定が失敗した場合に前記通信装置が通信に用いるプロファイルを設定するための条件を有効化するステップと、
を実行させる通信設定プログラム。 - コンピュータに、
通信装置が通信に用いるプロファイルを設定するための条件を記憶部に記憶させるステップと、
前記通信装置から受信した信号が前記記憶部に記憶された前記条件を満たす場合に、前記通信装置に対して前記プロファイルの設定を開始するステップと、
前記プロファイルの設定が開始された場合に前記記憶部に記憶された前記条件を維持するとともに、前記プロファイルの設定が成功した場合に前記通信装置が通信に用いるプロファイルを設定するための条件を無効化するステップと、
を実行させる通信設定プログラム。 - 通信装置が通信に用いるプロファイルを設定するための条件を記憶する記憶部と、
前記通信装置から受信した信号が前記条件を満たす場合に開始された前記通信装置へのプロファイルの設定が失敗した場合に、前記通信装置が通信に用いるプロファイルを設定するための条件を有効化する条件設定部と、
を有する通信制御装置。
