Abstract
Description
[管制システム]
図1は、本実施形態に係る管制システム1及び無人車両2の一例を模式的に示す図である。無人車両2とは、運転者による運転操作によらずに、無人で走行する車両をいう。無人車両2は、管制システム1からの後述する走行コースデータに基づいて走行する。なお、無人車両2は、遠隔操作により走行してもよいし、自律走行してもよい。無人車両2は、作業現場において稼働する。本実施形態において、作業現場は鉱山又は採石場であり、無人車両2は作業現場を走行して積荷を運搬するダンプトラックである。鉱山とは、鉱物を採掘する場所又は事業所をいう。無人車両2に運搬される積荷として、鉱山又は採石場において掘削された鉱石又は土砂が例示される。
無人車両2は、走行装置21と、走行装置21に支持される車両本体22と、車両本体22に支持されるダンプボディ23と、制御装置30とを備える。
図2は、本実施形態に係る無人車両2の一例を模式的に示す図である。図2に示すように、無人車両2は、油圧システム10を有する。
図3は、本実施形態に係る管理装置3及び制御装置30の一例を示す機能ブロック図である。制御装置30は、通信システム4を介して管理装置3と通信可能である。
次に、最大操舵速度算出部35による操舵装置26の最大操舵速度Vθmaxの第1の算出方法について説明する。
次に、最大操舵速度算出部35による操舵装置26の最大操舵速度Vθmaxの第2の算出方法について説明する。
図7は、本実施形態に係る走行コースCrの一例を示す図である。図7に示すように、無人車両2は、走行コースCrに従って走行するように制御される。作動油の粘度ηが高く、操舵装置26の操舵応答性が低下すると、図7に示すように、無人車両2の実際の走行軌跡Csは、走行コースCrから外れてしまう。操舵装置26の操舵応答性とは、走行コースデータに基づいて操舵装置26を作動させるためにバルブ制御部38がバルブ装置12に制御指令を出力してから、操舵装置26の実際の操舵角θが制御指令に応じた目標操舵角θrefになるまでに要する時間を含む。
図8は、本実施形態に係る無人車両2の制御方法の一例を示すフローチャートである。管理装置3において、走行コース生成部3Aは、走行コースデータを生成する。走行コースデータは、例えば走行コースのカーブの曲率の変化率、及び無人車両2の走行速度Vsの初期値を示す走行速度Vsdefを含む。走行速度Vsdefは、作動油の温度Tが規定の初期温度(例えば常温)のときに無人車両2が走行コースのカーブに従って走行できる走行速度Vsである。作動油の温度Tが初期温度まで上昇していれば、操舵装置26が最大操舵速度Vθmaxで作動することにより、無人車両2は、走行速度Vsdefで走行しても、走行コースのカーブに従って走行することができる。管理装置3は、生成した走行コースデータを、通信システム4を介して無人車両2の制御装置30に送信する。
以上説明したように、本実施形態によれば、無人車両2の制御装置30は、無人車両2の操舵装置26を作動するステアリングシリンダ13に供給される作動油の温度データを取得する温度データ取得部33と、作動油の温度データに基づいて無人車両2の制限走行速度Vsmaxを変更する変更指令を出力する指令出力部36と、を備える。これにより、作業現場が寒冷地であり、作動油の温度Tの低下に伴って作動油の粘度ηが上昇し、操舵装置26の操舵応答性が低下しても、作動油の温度データに基づいて、制限走行速度Vsmaxを変更することにより、無人車両2を走行コースに従って走行させることができる。例えば、作動油の温度Tが低いときには、無人車両2の制限走行速度Vsmaxを低い値に設定して、無人車両2を低速で走行させることにより、無人車両2を走行コースに従って走行させることができる。また、作動油の温度Tが低く、走行コースのカーブの曲率の変化率が大きいときには、無人車両2の制限走行速度Vsmaxを更に低い値に設定して、無人車両2をより低速で走行させることにより、無人車両2を走行コースに従って走行させることができる。また、作動油の温度Tが高いときには、無人車両2の制限走行速度Vsmaxを高い値に設定して、無人車両2を高速で走行させることにより、無人車両2の作業効率(運搬効率)を向上させつつ、無人車両2を走行コースに従って走行させることができる。
第2実施形態について説明する。以下の説明において、上述の実施形態と同一又は同等の構成要素については同一の符号を付し、その説明を簡略又は省略する。

図12は、コンピュータシステム1000の一例を示すブロック図である。上述の管理装置3及び制御装置30のそれぞれは、コンピュータシステム1000を含む。コンピュータシステム1000は、CPU(Central Processing Unit)のようなプロセッサ1001と、ROM(Read Only Memory)のような不揮発性メモリ及びRAM(Random Access Memory)のような揮発性メモリを含むメインメモリ1002と、ストレージ1003と、入出力回路を含むインターフェース1004とを有する。上述の管理装置3の機能及び制御装置30の機能は、プログラムとしてストレージ1003に記憶されている。プロセッサ1001は、プログラムをストレージ1003から読み出してメインメモリ1002に展開し、プログラムに従って上述の処理を実行する。なお、プログラムは、ネットワークを介してコンピュータシステム1000に配信されてもよい。
なお、上述の第1実施形態においては、走行パラメータが無人車両2の制限走行速度Vsmaxを含み、上述の第2実施形態においては、走行パラメータが操舵装置26の操舵速度Vθを含むこととした。また、上述の実施形態においては、第1の算出方法又は第2の算出方法に基づいて最大操舵速度Vθmaxが算出され、算出された最大操舵速度Vθmaxに基づいて、走行パラメータが変更されることとした。作動油の温度Tと走行パラメータとの相関データが記憶部39に記憶され、指令出力部36は、温度データ取得部33により取得された作動油の温度データと、記憶部39に記憶されている相関データとに基づいて、走行パラメータを変更する変更指令を出力してもよい。例えば、作動油の温度Tと無人車両2の制限走行速度Vsmaxとの相関データ(テーブルデータ)が記憶部39に記憶されている場合、指令出力部36は、温度データ取得部33により取得された作動油の温度データと、記憶部39に記憶されている相関データとに基づいて、無人車両2の制限走行速度Vsmaxを変更する変更指令を出力してもよい。また、作動油の温度Tと操舵装置26の操舵速度Vθとの相関データ(テーブルデータ)が記憶部39に記憶されている場合、指令出力部36は、温度データ取得部33により取得された作動油の温度データと、記憶部39に記憶されている相関データとに基づいて、操舵装置26の操舵速度Vθを変更する変更指令を出力してもよい。
