Abstract

L'invention concerne l'utilisation d'une position de pédale d'accélérateur et d'un état de rétrogradage associé pour modifier une valeur d'indicateur de performance sélectionnée associée à un groupe motopropulseur de véhicule afin d'activer ou d'inhiber des caractéristiques de commande qui gèrent la puissance disponible du groupe motopropulseur pour propulser le véhicule. Le conducteur peut activer et/ou inhiber les caractéristiques de commande de groupe motopropulseur sans avoir besoin de capteurs externes et sans que le conducteur manipule un commutateur dans le véhicule qui nécessite que le conducteur détourne son attention de la conduite.
