Abstract

The invention relates to a jig (6) for positioning wings (12) on a vehicle body (2) for the purpose of attaching the wings, the jig (6) comprising a central frame (8) configured to be arranged generally horizontally above the engine compartment; means for positioning the central frame relative to the vehicle; means for positioning (8) the wings (12) on the central frame (8); and a robotic arm (14) configured to insert screws for attaching a lower portion of the wing. The invention also relates to a method for mounting wings (12) using said jig (6).

GABARIT AVEC BRAS ROBOTISE POUR AILES DE VEHICULE AUTOMOBILE  JIG WITH ROBOTIC ARM FOR WINGS OF MOTOR VEHICLE
L'invention a trait au domaine des véhicules automobiles, plus particulièrement à l'assemblage de véhicules automobiles. Plus particulièrement encore, l'invention a trait à la fixation des ailes avant sur une caisse de véhicule automobile. Les documents de brevet publiés FR 2 786 152 A1 et FR 2 786 154 A1 divulguent un gabarit de montage d'ailes avant sur une caisse de véhicule. Ce gabarit comprend un cadre central destiné à être disposé essentiellement à l'horizontale au-dessus du compartiment moteur du véhicule, et des bâtis verticaux disposés sur chacun des côtés de la caisse. Les bâtis comprennent, chacun, un pion de référencement avec un trou réalisé sur le côté de caisse du véhicule. Le cadre central est supporté par les bâtis. Ces derniers assurent le positionnement des portions inférieures et arrière des ailes alors que le cadre assure le positionnement des bords supérieurs desdites ailes. Le gabarit de cet enseignement est particulièrement adapté au positionnement d'ailes réalisées en matière plastique et présentant une rigidité plus faible que les ailes en tôle métallique. Ce gabarit présente l'avantage de permettre une position précise notamment du bord arrière des ailes, qui est généralement vertical. Ce dernier est alors positionné à niveau avec les portes avant directement adjacentes. L'utilisation de ce gabarit requiert cependant un soin particulier, notamment lors du positionnement des bâtis verticaux. Ce soin requiert de manière préférentielle la présence de quatre opérateurs, à savoir deux opérateurs de chaque côté de la caisse du véhicule. A chaque côté de la caisse, un premier opérateur manipule le bâti inférieur correspondant et met en place les vis inférieures de fixation de l'aile correspondante. Un deuxième opérateur positionne et fixe le bord supérieur de l'aile en question. L'invention a pour objectif de pallier au moins un des inconvénients de l'état de l'art susmentionné. Plus particulièrement, l'invention a pour objectif de positionner et fixer les ailes sur une caisse de véhicule, et ce de manière performante. The latter 14 is fixed to the central frame 8, on a lower face and laterally substantially central said frame. The robotic arm 14 is configured to occupy the space of the engine compartment and access the wings 12, particularly the lower portions of the wings 12, for their attachment. The robotic arm 14 may comprise a rotating base 14 1 fixed to the central frame 8. It may also comprise several joints 14 2 connected to arm segments 14 3 . The robotic arm 14 comprises, at its distal end of the base 14 1 , a screwing head 14 4 configured to set up and tighten screws for fixing the wings 12. Such a head is in itself well known to the man of job. The jig 6 may be configured to be suspended via one or more cables to a handling system, such as a traveling crane or a suspension rail.

Une fois les ailes 12 en position, elles peuvent être fixées par l'action des opérateurs 16 sur une portion supérieure et par le bras robotisé 14 sur une portion inférieure desdites ailes. La fixation des ailes s'opère essentiellement par la mise en place de vis le long du bord supérieur et le long du bord formant le passage de roue. Les vis le long du bord supérieur sont essentiellement orientées suivant des directions avec des composantes principales verticales. Leurs têtes sont aussi dirigées vers le haut. Elles peuvent ainsi être aisément mises en place par les opérateurs 16, c'est-à-dire dans de bonnes conditions de travail. Les vis de fixation du bord formant le passage de roue sont quant à elles situées plus bas et ont leurs têtes dirigées vers le bas pour la partie avant de l'aile ou vers l'avant pour la partie arrière. Ces vis sont avantageusement mises en place par le bras robotisé 12. Cette situation est illustrée à la figure 2 où on peut observer le bras robotisé 14 mettant en place une vis de fixation sur le bord formant le passage de roue de l'aile gauche, plus particulièrement sur une partie arrière dudit bord. On peut observer que l'accès à ces vis est nettement plus limité pour les opérateurs 16. Il est ainsi particulièrement avantageux d'assurer la mise en place de ces vis par le bras robotisé. Ce dernier est en effet particulièrement bien positionné au centre du compartiment moteur pour accéder aux emplacements de ces vis. Le gabarit de l'invention permet ainsi de réaliser le positionnement des ailes au moyen d'un nombre réduit d'opérateurs. En l'occurrence, deux opérateurs 16 peuvent suffire. These screws are advantageously put in place by the robotic arm 12. This situation is illustrated in FIG. 2, where the robotic arm 14 can be observed, putting in place a fixing screw on the edge forming the wheel well of the left wing. more particularly on a rear portion of said edge. It can be observed that access to these screws is much more limited for operators 16. It is thus particularly advantageous to ensure the establishment of these screws by the robotic arm. The latter is indeed particularly well positioned in the center of the engine compartment to access the locations of these screws. The template of the invention thus enables the positioning of the wings by means of a reduced number of operators. In this case, two operators 16 may suffice.
