La poignée est électriquement isolée pour des tensions électriques U > 100 V et le segment extincteur est effilé avec une coupe transversale d'écoulement rétrécie destinée à l'agent extincteur envoyé à travers. La lance est caractérisée en ce que la poignée est également électriquement isolée pour des tensions électriques U ≥ 500 V et en ce que le segment extincteur est fabriqué à partir d'un matériau qui présente une résistance à la rupture Rm si élevée qu'il supporte une tension mécanique σ ≥ 500 N/mm2 et qui présente une température de fusion ts ≥ 650 °C, et en ce qu'un segment de maintien à l'extrémité côté opérateur présente une large plaque de frappe (14) dans le prolongement du segment extincteur.
