Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Energieabsorptionsvorrichtung für Sicherheitsnetze und/oder für Seilkonstruktionen, insbesondere eine Einschlagdämpfungsvorrichtung und/oder eine Stoßdämpfungsvorrichtung und/oder eine Zugseilbremsvorrichtung, mit einer Bremseinheit (12a-d), die zumindest ein Umlenkelement (14a-d) und zumindest ein zumindest abschnittsweise um das Umlenkelement (14a-d) verlaufendes Bremselement (16a-h) umfasst und die zu einer zumindest teilweisen Absorption und/oder Umwandlung von kinetischer Energie in zumindest einem Belastungsfall, insbesondere einem Einschlagfall, vorgesehen ist, und mit einer Anbindungseinheit (18a-d), die zur Befestigung der Bremseinheit (12a-d) an zumindest einem Einsatzort vorgesehen ist, wobei das Bremselement (16a-h) U-förmig um das Umlenkelement (14a-d) geführt ist. Es wird vorgeschlagen, dass das Bremselement (16a) zumindest einen ersten Bremsabschnitt (24a) und zumindest einen zweiten Bremsabschnitt (26a) umfasst, die sich zumindest hinsichtlich einer lokalen Belastbarkeit unterscheiden, wobei der erste Bremsabschnitt (24a) zumindest eine Materialausnehmung (28a), insbesondere ein Langloch, umfasst.
